welcome back guys in today's video I'm going to show you how you can automate alerts on any indicator and trading view to automatically send trades to your interactive brokers account so in today's video I'm going to use our Buy sell bands indicator as an example and the best part is you don't need any programming or coding experience or knowledge and if you've got interactive brokers account this doesn't cost any money at all and it's probably a lot easier than you think okay so let's get stuck right in first you just need to head over to capitalize.ai and this is the bridge between trading View and interactive brokers we're going to use this platform which again is free if you've got interactive brokers account uh these are the Brokers as well a little less known but if you've got accounts with these Brokers you can do the same thing as what I'm talking about with IB then you just sign up for capitalize.ai and they have very clear simple instructions on their website on how to do that if you're an IB customer and so you just follow these steps to connect capitalize to your IB account and once you're inside the capitalized platform you can follow the steps to connect your account and basically you're just give an authorization to IB that capitalize can enter trades on your behalf so that's all really simple and easy to do just takes a couple of days for IB to approve it and then you're all good to go then once you log in to the capitalized platform it'll look like this you want to come up to this green button here to create strategy then it'll look like this and it's like I said it's a lot easier than most people realize to set it all up and so I'm going to go ahead right now and set up an automated strategy for you like I said using our Buy sell band indicator so in this example we're going to create a buy the dip trading strategy on the one hour charts and using our Buy sell bands indicator if you like you can buy our custom indicator for trading view just head over to our website click capital.io head to the indicators page and just put in your email and trading view username and you can get the buy sell bands indicator for 39 or you can get all our indicators and save 200 for 200 nine seven all you need is a free trading view account to use our indicator then once you've got our indicator you can add it to any chart on any time frame and we can see here in the strategy tester that our system is profitable on most different stocks but let's just go ahead and we'll use this on Apple okay so you can configure the settings like I said we're doing a buy the dip so we want the price to be above the 200 simple moving average and we want a minimum profit of half percent and the length of 50 and 2 but you can experiment with any settings that you like and like I said it's really simple so all we do to set it up an automated trade is come over here to the indicator settings go to that more ADD alert now so for the buy alert now we'll go back to the capitalize page and this is what we're going to do we're going to type in if webhook and click on webbook I want you to copy the URL and go back to trading View and then in the notifications section click web hook URL paste that URL in there if you like you can also get notified on the app in a pop-up or email on a Trader curse so you can leave them enabled or not if you don't want to we'll take them off we'll go back to settings click on webhook again get that message go back to trading View and then we're going to paste that message in the message box and then we can name that so we can name Apple buy alert and you want to change the trigger to once per bar so this alert will keep triggering over and over again as it occurs so so whenever price goes below this green line it'll send an order to buy so on the trading view side of things that's complete for the pi signal is click on create and up in your alerts section you can see that there now back over to the capitalize screen click on triggers then buy now you'll determine how many shares you want to buy and again you can come to our website and use the free calculator and you can put in your account size so say you had 20 000 in your account and you wanted 20 of your account on each trade the current stock price of Apple is 165 dollars per share so that'd be 24 shares so then buy 24 shares of apple and that's it for the the Buy Signal so webhook is basically is like a simple computer message trading view will send that webhook message to capitalize and then capitalize we'll send the trade into your interactive brokers account and it's the same thing for buying exiting shorting and exiting so let's go back to capitalize and create the exit signal so this is the Buy Signal if webhook triggers then buy 24 shares of apple and we just click on next now we're going to create that was the entry strategy now we're going to create the exit strategy which is pretty much exactly the same so if webhook grab that webhook message back to trading view I'm going to create another alert so we have to do this for each symbol and each alert ADD alert now we want to change that to Long exit once per bar paste in the message make sure it's that's the only thing in that message box and we can put exit Apple along as the alert name but you can name that anything you want or just leave and leave it blank the webhook URL is already there so trading view will send that message to that URL and then capitalize we'll get the information that you've entered in so create we can see that's been added to our alerts tab over there back to capitalize triggers close position so really simple stuff then click on next and then you want to enable run and loop so I can run over and over again not just one time and then you can check here there's the web hook for your entry the web hook for your exit order type it'll buy it Market Apple 24 shares and when it gets the other web hook from Trading view it'll close the position then we can name the strategy so you can put buy dip apple and then you want to click on run live so that's completed that's all you need to do you just need to do the same thing again for every stock and for long and shorts so it does take a little bit to set up but once it's all set up you can go in and each week or each month and edit this you just come up here click on edit and you can change the amount of shares as your account size changes then you can see all your strategies by coming over here and go into my strategies and you can see all your live strategies here and that's basically all there is to it like I said it's a lot easier and quicker and simpler than most people realize and you can do this for any indicator that allows you to add
