when did you start paying the mods when you guys paid me more than I needed to live so November is kind of like when the whole plan came together their official start date was May 1st outside of that they've had a they've had the P GG thing for a long time yeah it's been a while actually I think it was November wasn't it I think November is when it happened because what I was doing was we had this P thing before and the way that P was set up was I would take 30% of the subs and they would take 70% of the of or not the subs the tips like the donations through the p and then for mods giving maybe it was I don't remember what the percentages were and then was it 4060 is that what it was it was something it was something like that right where like the mods would take the other percentage of it and then we did this thing called I I was going to do like mod cember or some and it was going to be like mod you know Christmas or I don't remember what it was going to I was like the names for this suck ass and I was like well Thanksgiving is coming up so we're going to call it mods giving instead and I was like oh it's a way better name and we'll just do it like for till the end of the year and then like at the end of the year I was like nah this is stupid we're just going to do this forever now and then the P just became 100% yeah mods Miss was it it doesn't sound as good as mods giving mods giving is just better so I was like when it came around the time for it I was like N I just went to the mods I was like dude you guys are just keeping it forever I was like there's no reason that we should even like turn this off I was like it doesn't make any sense so then this became standard so the team gets 100% of the donations through that and then after that I was like well we're getting too much money now like this makes sense the community is supporting the living out of this let's let's do fulltime for everybody let's like figure that out and then we built the corporation got everybody signed up did all the things and then the first official start date was May 1st then we were like well what do we do when there's some people that are full-time and some people that aren't full-time and then we we figured the split out so the the full-time people make less of the percentage and the part-time people make more of the percentage so that it's not like super double dipping that it's actually like more weighted towards people that don't have the full-time pay yet because we didn't want to scale up the mod team really fast then find out we can't pay everyone and then everything turns to to be honest you got that rolling really fast I mean you could do a lot of stuff really fast as long as you're like I want to do this let's do the thing right if you if you have if you make the choice of like let's do the thing and then you just immediately start trying to figure out how to do the thing you could just do the thing and that's that's all that that is right so like we I decided really quick I was like we're doing this and then we just do it and it's kind of how it is right Reddit mods we have mod some of the mods have Reddit Powers Yeah it's important cuz we have we have moderators all over the place man so if you're if you're wondering how this works right like so we've got moderators on Reddit on Steam on Discord on YouTube on Twitch what else what else do we have moderators on the wiki I think that's it no we don't we don't moderate Twitter how do you moderate Twitter that's not like a thing the only thing that happen oh yeah there's block game I think that's it I guess ashes of creation too yeah we've got that I think that's the whole thing yeah discord's on there too yeah I think it's it it's a lot what's block game Custom Minecraft server we made an Mo MMO inside of Minecraft yeah
