Owl is one type of bird of prey from the Family Strigiformes which is more active at night. There are approximately 244 species of owls that have been known and spread throughout the world. In Western countries the owl is considered a symbol of wisdom , but in Indonesia it is considered a bearer of a harbinger of death that is why this bird is called by the public by the name owl. Owls usually prey on animals such as insects, frogs, mice, and so on. That is why owls are commonly used as pest control by farmers because it is more effective at repelling rats in the fields than using rat poison. Javan Hoarse This type of Javan husk is also known as the Barn Owl with medium size, and long round wings, and a short tail. Usually the color of this type of owl is reddish with a reddish brown top and has a black and white stripe pattern on its feathers. Red plop is considered a rarity because its habitat is getting less and less. 4. Beluk Jampuk Hingkik or owl Beluk Jampuk is a type of owl that is quite large and can reach 45 cm in length.
