So hi guys, today we are going to review Delhi's best North Indian restaurants where if you are a vegetarian, you don't order Dal Makhani, Paneer, Shahi Paneer, Paneer Pasanda and if you are a non-vegetarian, how can you forget Butter Chicken? So these are the restaurants where you get both non-veg and veg with a few exceptions and we will rate which is the best and which is the worst Some places we liked the dishes very much and some places we thought it was useless. So let's get started. Yeah. So let's start with Pind Baluchi.
Pind Baluchi is not a D tier right? No. I have eaten Pind Baluchi once or twice.
I am sure if you live in Delhi then you must have eaten it sometime. Its normal like North Indian food is good. It is also good in pricing. Quite famous like 4-5 years ago and it is still quite famous for its dahi ke sholey but not much for its north Indian food.
Humara biasness aega kyunki hum khane ko, uski jaga ko, uski value for money se bhi associate karte hai. To agar aap humare jese hi ho, jin ko value for money bhi chahiye, ki haan theke jitna paisa dala, uske worth tha ya nahi, to us aap ke liye yeh wali list ho ki. Again, jese Ritika bol rahi thi, Pint Baluchi is 4-5 saal purana aur ab It's not seen on the decline but yes, their food was good.
We could see it's average sort of a thing. Their dahi ke shole is famous for being very soft. Next up is Daryaganj.
Daryaganj, I would say again like similar but better than Pind Baluchi. What do you think? Yeah, it's better than Pind Baluchi.
Its dal makhani is very tasty. So if you are in Delhi, Delhi, Noida, NCR, you will see the strands of Daryaganj anywhere. specifically in malls Daryaganj's dal is famous almost everyone's dal is 18, 19, 20 types so you can try it, it's better than Pint Balochan they also say that they tasted the butter chicken which we don't know how true it is but they say so next up is Made in Punjab I would say there is no speciality of Made in Punjab I will keep it in the C tier and their food is not that good I went to Noida's DLF, made in Punjab. And I think so very decent sort of thing.
Nothing special, nothing like that. It's a family restaurant, if you want to go, you can go. I think so we can keep Pint Baluchi in D.
So that both can have a good comparison. Next up is Punjab, made in Punjab. After Punjab, Punjab Grill. Where should we keep Punjab Grill?
Maybe B. Our experience of Punjab Grill is good and bad. Our first experience was moderate but the cheese kulcha is very good. Cheese kulcha and dal makhani is a very solid combination there. So if you are a vegetarian and you want to try cheese kulcha then Punjab grill is fine. We had gone to Punjab grill first with a comparison of some other restaurants so we didn't like Punjab grill that much.
But it's a decent one. Moderately just like Dariya Ganja and all have similar taste of dal makhani. and different species because like we don't eat much non-vegetarian with family so usme hamne jatdar ham hamara go to order yehi hota hai ki dal makhni shahi paneer paneer ki sabjiya usme like hum kenge ki dal makhni is moderate zaada chhi bhi nahi moderate aur average apka 3000 rupay for two people bill aata hai which is more considering there are certain better options so still i'll keep it in b next is anar dana anar dana i we were very disappointed it was cheaper than Punjab Grill but again kuch khas nahi tha to usko main D tier mein rakhunga because khana bhi acha nahi tha variety bhi kuch nahi thi ambience wise bhi kuch offer nahi karta Anardana is just like ki alak se naam hai theke family ke saath aap try kar logay may be cutlery thodi se fancy but again its a fancy aapka Daryaganj aur Punjab Grill but iske different locations hai to iska andar ka interior The outlet at Karkar Duma is okay but the outlet at DLF Avenue is fancy looking.
Next up is quality. Quality was very hyped recently. Rahul Gandhi has also gone for quality.
And quality is since 1940s. So it's been almost 25 years and it's a 65-year-old restaurant. Its rates are also very high.
It's a chhole-bature of Rs. 850. You get only one batura in a chhole-bature of Rs. 850. katori chane. Not that ki bohot hi like creamy gravy ya bohot gravy wale chole. Basic sukhe chole. So humare according it was not great. D definitely D.
It's a definitely D. Even made in Punjab would be better. Daryaganj would be better. Punjab grill would be better.
Way better. Then quality and its ki pricing bohot zyada hai. Aur bichi bichi se jaga aapke saath me hi table me vilkul kuch distance nahi hai.
It's always full but we did not like it. Next up is Kari Gari. I have been to Kari Gari once.
Kari Gari is also in the similar way of Punjab Grill and Darya Ganj. It's better than Made in Punjab. They have some authentic dishes, some new dishes they have tried.
It's a fusion. They have fancy cutlery. I had gone to a Kari Gari in Noida. And very fancy cutlery aspect. Ambience wise is also good.
It's like a Pao Bhaji Fondue. It's like a fusion part. If you want to go with your family. and you want to surprise your family with what to order then you can try Karigari again costly but in sync with Punjab Grill and all that so your Namak Shamak Sardarji's Karigari is still on the B tier till now we haven't had any S tier or A tier I'm sure it will come in the upcoming ones next up is MBC MBC would be like made in Punjab not so better than Karigari We have been there once.
Again, like, the place is expensive, for God's sake. Next up is Dhaba. So this is a picture of Dhaba 1986. Dhaba 1986 is, I've been there once and in Dhaba 1986 we had taken a buffet and I think so, it was worth it according to the price.
It was cheaper than that. Rest, it does not offer anything. It gives the feel of Dhaba in a multiplex. Interior wise. Interior wise.
So if you feel like eating in a Charpai type or old cutlery and still you are walking in malls then you can do that but I think so any Delhiite will not enjoy it. So still I would say it's still inferior than your Kari Gari, Punjab Grill and Derya Ganj. Maybe even bad. See but this Dhawa cutlery is for the restaurants and similarly Social cutlery is for cafe. Social is still better.
Social still offers new kind of foods. But this does not. So yeah, I'll place it over that.
Next up for us is, which one is this? This is Bhaj Gobindam. So Bhaj Gobindam has been our go-to place since childhood, like 10 years.
So 30 years, 30 years, maybe 30 years. Since 30 years, it's been our go-to place for our parents as well. So this is. an S tier for us.
We have been biased about the same. It's a pure vegetarian restaurant. It costs only 1200 for two people. It's a nice family ambience and it's located in Daryaganj just beside Delight Cinemas. So if you are roaming around CP, if you are roaming around Jama Masjid area, you should definitely visit Daryaganj, Bajgo Bindam.
This is a pure vegetarian restaurant but the thali which they have, deluxe thali, it's super amazing. It's super ... value for money.
Kali and the dosa. Both are very good. Masala dosa.
So we will be putting it in S tier because we really want you guys to try it out. Bajgobindam at Daryaganj. Pure vegetarian. Costs only 1200 for two people.
For good food. Taste wise it's amazing food. It has a similar legacy as the quality. Like our family has been going there for 30 years but it's been there I guess around 50 years maybe.
yeah maybe it's a long there and the quality of food is good the pricing is really good and the overall experience is st yeah uh next up is sandoz again something that we started going and recently and we would put it over the steer as we are like a newly non-vegetarian so we really like their butter chicken there and it is not like it's it's Slightly as comparison, relatively less pricey. I won't say it's not pricey, but it is relatively non-pricey. It's the similar taste that we had at different restaurants.
But it is really good in like... The quality of food. Yeah, food and experience, overall experience as well.
Yeah, it's a good family restaurant. Butter chicken is good. Dal makhani is good. It's value for money. So whatever the taste that you are getting in Daryaganj Punjab Grill, Kari Gari, maybe you are spending 1000 rupees extra.
So it could be 1500 for two people. Here it would be 2500 for two people but still the quality of food is better at Sandoz. I don't know we have been to Lajpat Nagar, Nehru Place and one more place SDA market that I have been to. And I can say that the quality of food have been almost similar.
Let us know about in the comment if you... feel that the quality of food is different in different branches of Sandos. Next up is Gulati. Gulati is still better than the remaining. Not an STM, it's a great taste.
It's costly but it has a great taste. Gulati is one of the iconic restaurants that we keep on going again over special occasions. Gulati is a place wherein we really like the taste of the food. We have tried Laisuni Palak, we have tried Butter Chicken over there.
We have also tried their Boufe. Yeah, we have also tried their Boufe. Even their Veg Biryani is good.
So if you are someone who really likes Punjabi non-vegetarian, not like your Mughlai non-vegetarian, we have not included Mughlai sort of food, so you will find that Aljawar, Kareems, Nazif, all these kinds of palates are missing because that's a different category altogether. We really feel that if you are in Delhi, then Punjabi non-veg is one thing, Muslim non-veg is one thing and there is a difference in taste, difference in preferences. Right now we are only covering that.
So it's an A tier about Gulati as well. Next up is Moti Mihal Deluxe, again like a very fast food sort of a restaurant which we don't feel. The one who actually originated the Bhattachet. But these are not the one who originated.
That's the Daryaganj branch and it's just like the franchisee system. If we talk about franchisees, Daryaganj is still better than Muthimahal Deluxe. We'll find Muthimahal Deluxe.
Some people like it. But for us, it's a C tier. Havemore, again, like a better one.
I've been there. It's in the Pandara Road itself. And good pricing, good taste.
Not great than Gulati. We can put it in B tier. The Butter Chicken here is also good. It's always comparison that Butter Chicken Gulati or Havemore. so it's again more spicier and the gulati one is a little bit on the creamier and sweeter side so if you like butter chicken if you like north indian food you are in pandara road definitely you can try these out so this is our review about the most commonly chained restaurants we have put together restaurants just multiple branches except i think so bhaj govindam everyone everyone has multiple branches you So these are the restaurants that you will find in all the malls, Gurgaon, Dwarka, Noida, Central Delhi, East Delhi, West Delhi.
You will find them everywhere and that's our verdict about the same. If you want to mention a special restaurant that doesn't have multiple branches and is a single branch restaurant, which one would it be? Let us know in the comments below and we will make more videos like this if you really like that.
differently and see you till the next time.
