What's up guys, we're here at the regionals. We ended up getting first place X01. Pretty crazy. We're playing Memento. I guess I put a poll on the channel the other day. What deck would take the regionals? Memento at 12. There are 12 points didn't do very good. Somebody did comment saying you could take any deck you want, but if you don't have a good pilot Haters stay mad come at me. Maybe pull up and win. This guy proved them wrong Yeah, we got first place here, which is pretty nice. Uh, we were playing memento. This is the pure not the fees with cards unfortunately not going to be better until next set when we do get another full card combo or one full card combo but yeah diving on in shout out to all the boys that drove up with us the guys on heli and everyone else who topped as well but yeah so we're playing the triple copies of anguish some people have cut this down and start playing more copies of rota uh still i i really like the names having multiple names so like a lot of times you are going to get hit with a copy of like nibiru and you can play around it or i guess play through it with the copy of sp as well um so you just tag out summon back both guys but odd times you're gonna get like stuff with your favorite anyways so by playing multiple copies of the language you have multiple like options to put back and then like have others in the hand as well to let you special something out during the turn when you have a carrier effect just let you play through it more often which is why i like it it's also a good name and you don't get hit with droll and lockport at all then for the other memento cards we're playing the two cops to sleepy a lot of players do not like the two sleepy i always have loved the two sleepy you can play one of it just having the second one in the hand after you dump it off this uh always catch people off guard so it's just nice to have a fuse option we're playing the one goblin the one mace the one copy of gatic and the one copy of the horned dragon as well as the one copy of the big common grind creation this carriage absolutely busted people still don't realize this car can bring itself back multiple times a term does not sort of change i ended up playing in the last round uh against some mimicole pile deck and my whole he had a druid storm in the hand and so like on resolution he didn't draw Bistel me so I put back all my darks and my lights just to summon this out and like he could not no longer Hit me with a copy of Jerusalem, which is really nice That's it for the memento courage. We're playing all the best ones now for the hand traps a little bit of different lineup here We're playing triple copies of past triple copies of ailer now We are playing the triple copies of ogre this card was the MVP of the day triple copies of in perm and then we are playing the one Jerusalem and the one magma so this card was absolutely crazy this form of this format I find that's really good because u-bell is the best deck of the format and like this deck does struggle a little bit against it hitting nightmare pain can be quite nice alongside pair with any other hand trap as well as like purely which makes a copy of the noir which spins back your stuff can be problematic hitting the fields or the field spell but the uh my friend is nice and like a bunch of other cards as well with ip people end on that against snake eyes it's good as well so just you know pair it up with any other hand trap this card's just really nice and of course nobody needs to explain these i didn't play nibiru in the main deck because i just did not want to have to tribute some of my copies of tasha no shugu that's literally the only reason why the card's absolutely insane i was sliding in a lot of times as well i just didn't really want to play it then for the spells we're playing the one copy of the field spell triple copies of the good cards uh you are playing pure in this which is why we're playing the fusion and the second copy comes up obviously to banish sometimes if you have the grind game uh and then like you want to go to search for another fusion so like once you go through the first turn and you have a second one you can search obviously just comes up and then you just keep putting this one back in the spell and trap card zone uh post turn one when you put the trap card we also are playing the one copy of cob with the grave and then we are playing the trap which is what you end on an appaloosa kind of very nice and the copy of azul so i know a lot of players are not playing this in memento uh i just really like it because it's another card you can end on you know you can end on like this the copy of like your end board can be this this and the big guy wherever he's at. So like your end board can be these cards right here. I guess we'll also have the field spell on the field as well. But this can be your end board which is like very nice because you have like a bunch of cards in the graveyard as well. So you have like the sp to pop when this gets summoned, you have a like kind of judgment like effect from the gate to summon, you have five appaloosas in the case on the monsters on the field, you have this because you can destroy cards and then also be able to you know trigger with any cards in the graveyard to add back. and then you have to attack into this guy and you can just bring other cards as well back with it as well so it's really overall nice you can also like pair it up with any hand traps it's like quite hard to beat especially when you're just you know negating pretty much everything they do summon then for the extra deck we are still on the triple copies of creation king now we are playing the pure version therefore we are playing the triple copies sometimes cash wants to hit your deck If you are playing two copies of it, they're going to always hit their copy of this, which is why we're playing three. And you can also make it in the next turn after turn zero because you do go through two of them. We're playing the double copies of twin. We have the room now which is why we're playing it. Again, once again, if you are playing against Cache de Yard, you're only playing one of it, it's going to get ripped. So this card's absolutely crazy. Sometimes you want to go around some like weird lines if they try to imperming your copy of Hatch Nushigou. You chain the fusion, fusion into this, pop that, it summons, you dump seven whatever from the deck, level sevens, and then you activate the effect, summon back. Then you want to have another copy to get the effect to search, which is nice. For playing the one copy of Guardian Chimera, once again, this never came up. I played this when the deck first came out when I was not playing the Feast of Cards, and it was in it. Still hasn't come up. It's just there because it can be made. There was one match I could have made it, but chose not to. Then for the links, IP, SP, Silhouette Rabbit, Cross Sheep, Dark, Herald. These are all the link twos that you play. Dark is really good against the Yubel. IP is obviously part of the end board with SP. SP helps you dodge if you play the rabbit because you play the azul. Crossheap gets part of your combo being able to reborn out a bunch of guys, which also lets you get into Mirage. You are very good against Tempai with this because this is going to be able to negate the copy of Regeki and show it to Jason. He keeps Regeking me every single local, so this is just there to stop that. Honestly, I was horrified of Regeki. So I have to keep playing this. Hey, Jason wasn't at this regional. He wasn't and we won. You came first, that's what happens. That's kind of what happens there. We are playing a copy of the access code for like our flex bots. A copy of Unable Goddess. This actually won me a game versus Dragonlink. They kind of bricked and they ended up on making a untargetable or whatever unaffected on can't be a star by battle copy of Chaos Angel. And because we did play this we were able to out it which is quite nice. and then we played a copy of Typhon as well. This card came up against Snake Eye. We went into a simplified game state and I was able to just like beat over some things and then bounce their princess back to the extra deck which was just problematic for them. And so here we are now for our side deck. Most of these cards did not really matter for this. We're playing the one Fractured Dance. Did not matter. I will not play this again. Double copies of Crossout. Now we are playing a copy of Shifter for the Crossout as well. It's really good against the first going first. I did want to play this over the copies of Judgment just because Judgment really didn't get me there a lot of times and I wanted to be able to interact with the cards in the like during the first turn rather than the second turn. Double copies of Lightning Storm never came up. Obviously it is a very good card but it just didn't come up for us. we never saw it i guess triple copies of nib i'm not playing it in the main deck therefore i have to play it in the side deck this character a god care this format appaloosa is not running rampant so we can just nib when boards are great triple copies of cosmic obviously tempi has the field spell still which is quite nice and then we have like runic running around rampant so hitting the copy of fountain definitely can hurt also really good against the uh nightmare pain as well um just to get rid of it and then we're playing the one copy of the there can only be one and the last card and the extra deck is going to be the copy of baldric just to pair off the bistels you know bring it up to a third count which did come up against the bistel dragon link deck so this is the side deck here i will talk about why i did not play the copies on mulcharmy um i'm not playing droll and lockbird so i kind of didn't play droll because my buddy josh uh kept telling me that it was bad and i drolled him and he gammed me like every single time we play tested and like it fucking sucked so uh decided just not to play it all together um i did not want to get hit with gamma at all so i just chose not to play this because i felt like the other cards i'd be drawing which can be better and in memento you don't want to have like so many cards in your hand it's a lot like uh melodious where like the cards you have in your hand kind of get you into all the other stuff so opening up like multiple copies of things just don't really change anything you're gonna be just wasting your resources when you could just draw hand traps i just didn't really feel like i would be doing that so i just chose not to play them and chose to play like eight like i guess shifter and these cards instead but definitely an option that you guys if you want to play you guys definitely can regardless that's going to be it for the deck profile if you guys have any comments let me know any questions let me know in the comment section down below remember stay safe peace
