[Music] alrighty hello everyone welcome back to the channel my name is christian aka the atlantean alchemist it's been a while guys i have a lot going on a lot of changes going on a lot of updates i'll give you soon enough when um things are brought into completion but till then i wanted to cover the topic of trickster spirits i get a lot of comments on trickster spirits how to handle them how to deal with them what are they all about and i'm gonna answer those questions today so if you're new to this channel i talk a lot about spirit work how to build your personalized practice and magic if that's something that you're interested in subscribe and hit the bell for notifications for whenever i post but let's begin okay so when it comes to trickster spirits um their and their agendas what they're all about um so it's an archetype that's always kind of existed um whether for our benefit or not um sometimes they do come for our benefit whether we like to believe it or not sometimes they come through from our own guides trying to teach us a lesson of discernment and helping to cultivate our abilities and i'll give you some examples of that in a little bit but when it comes to trickster spirits they when we're talking about the non-beloved benevolent purposes that they come the weights that they come through is usually when you're most vulnerable so if you're overwhelmed and you're seeking solace or some sort of divine support because you're kind of neck deep in a lot of things that you feel that you can't overcome on your own those are the times that they actually come through the most because they look at your how you are doing like you're a mental and emotional state so they can kind of come through because the reason for this is because they know that they don't exactly match up to the energy of certain spirits um and so when they come through they wait for you to be vulnerable so that you can't discern your your surroundings as well so they wait for those kind of emotional times to take advantage so they come through for different reasons different purposes sometimes if you're in key need of deep information they come through to give you misinformation other times they come through as a source of comfort for you only for them to either drain your energy or um give you a wrong impression of the relationship of the spirit um that you normally have whatever that case is um and then the times that they do come through benevolently um is the time that they will show up in the same space in the same room with the spirit you just called in like let's say they actually come through um then they will also be there in the same space um and it takes a lot of awareness a lot of building of your own gifts and abilities to differentiate and i'm gonna give you guys like six different tips on how to avoid them all together um even if they're coming through for some sort of life lesson thing you will have to kind of learn your discernment there but you will learn to make the difference so the one thing i have to tell you before we start is that they do have the ability not only to shape shape-shift but to also change their energy so they can come across especially if you're an emotional crisis they come through on very very similarly to the spirits you work with but it'll be like a dimmed down version of that like they'll feel like a more distant energy um and that's on purpose so these are the six ways to kind of overcome that kind of make sure that you don't really have to deal with that especially if it's not a benevolent kind of teaching lesson so one thing is epithets when we refer to the spirits that we work with it's best to call them by epithets or some sort of title that they have alongside their name something that's personal to you and how you associate to them so by doing that um you're narrowing down the call on the calling card and it's more likely that they will come through because they don't usually show up when the actual spirit comes through because the actual spirit will see the imposter and get rid of them or they will run away like just because they know you know they're gonna get caught so that's one way that you can do so so you could have a long-winded invocation for a spirit if you want to do something like that or um like for a greco-roman um deities for example like athena um you could do like athena any maltese palace athena um like different little titles little epithets like that um other traditions or other pantheons don't necessarily have that but they go by different select names i don't get maybe attached to their name so like um in the norse pantheon freya you would call her like vanades val freya mardal golovic it kind of depends what pantheon we're talking about but even if it's not that you could even be like you know freya goddess of love and war hear me now at this time and then you know those little tiny invocations it makes a big difference believe it or not then just calling out the name freya and then with that general calling card you might get something else without getting the attention of the deity right away or whatever spirit you're working with so that's one tip the other one is creating a circle so um this was a suggestion actually freya gave me um when discussing the matter with her um so if you're going to have a very important conversation um whether it's with all your guides or like you're calling in a spirit or anything like that and it's a very important conversation and you want to ensure that there's no sort of external influence whatsoever you're going to create a circle i believe i have a video on that already if not there are many circles you can do with like the arch angels where like archangel michaels to the south you have no yes to the south you have raphael in the east to the west gabriel and to the north um uriel and there's like specific ones that you can do with either the archangels there's other ones as well um and you could create your own where you're just kind of creating a solid space like a container just for those communications and conversations and that way only what's invited is allowed in that circle and the kind of judge of that container will be the ones you're calling in um to make sure that it it's what you're calling it um so that's a second way another one is a council mandate so what i mean by council mandate is that you have a select set of guides your main guides that are the ones that are in charge of taking care of you um such as your gatekeepers and things like that but your council is the one who kind of makes your life plans or they kind of co-create with you on those life plans directly so these individuals are the ones that you would turn to um and if you don't know who your guides are there are many guided meditations on finding out who your main guides are on youtube you can always look those up um your main guides are going to be your main mediators between all the other spirits so you can actually you know set the record like hey any kinds of spirits like this i don't want um around me and what that will do is that will help to mitigate those possibilities of them coming through it doesn't mean that it's completely blocked off because um there are times that you will have to deal with those kinds of situations and they're not going to do all the work for you um but it helps to create that mandate so that um things are mitigated so you have less opportunity for those experiences to occur and then when it comes to divination so this one actually has a story behind it so i did talk about this on a live i didn't share this on a um pre-recorded video but um so for example here's a tarot deck of mine um so i actually have had one negative experience with um the demonic divine um but it was related to past life um conflicts that needed to be sorted out in this life so this was a situation where i was working with a spirit um well not that i was working with them rather that they just happened to come through and this would happen for about two weeks where any card that i would pull for divination would be the opposite meaning or all the answers would be false um and i had this overwhelming impression that something was there and that no matter how much i called for divine support on the matter it wasn't being resolved because it was something that needed to be sorted out one-on-one and they didn't want to get involved because there was some beef that needed to be sorted out um and no one could help me for like two weeks i couldn't get anyone to help me on the situation so i had to handle it on my own um until someone could help me later on to kind of um resolve the situation but because of those two weeks that i dealt with that situation i developed my own kind of method for my definition so that whatever spirit you're working with is that spirit specifically um through the divination and you don't have that issue and i especially recommend this if you do any kind of pendulum work so the invocation or the kind of prep work that i do is like this so for example we're going to use freya um at this time freya i asked that you connect with me through these tarot cards i ask that these readings be upheld in the highest truth free from external influence and forces and upheld in your protection so when you do it like that it's just freya coming through and it's kind of like it's a filtered um form of divination um and it's best to do it also especially if it's something more like dice or pendulums or things like that or if you're using um boards and stuff like that um where it's more like you're playing spirit omigo and you're just you know tossing the cards and seeing what kind of happens um so it helps to have that kind of filter you could create your own but that's how i do it when i do my readings for anyone even for other people and not just for myself um the last tip that i have for you guys is to create sigils so i have in my description below um a link to the sigil engine which is a really good website where you can create your own sigil if you're not a very creative person um and it's just something you're creating on on the fly as like an emergency or anything like that um you could create a sigil to essentially anything that enters into your space has to stay in its true form so whatever inhabits your space and you will have to charge and renew your sigils every now and then but um by doing that anything that shows up in your space has to show up in its true form it could conceal its energy but then it can't conceal its form so you will know if it's a false spirit or anything like that or they may just leave knowing that they can't shape shift so that's something that would help you tremendously as well um those are my six tips on how to help you with like dealing with tricks or spirits and stuff like that and referring back to the difference in purposes around trickster spirits so sometimes like that story i gave you they're going to show up to teach us a lesson about discernment and usually you're going to get more tricks or spirits at the beginning of your journey than you would later on where you're more adept but they will take advantage of your emotional crisises if you have really good wars protections and all these kind of measures you don't really have to worry about them at all um but those would be my tidbits guys and i hope that gives you some insight into how you can navigate this and feel more confident in the relationships that you're building in spirit that not everything is fabricated okay i will see you guys in the next video thank you guys so much
