four people are charged with allegedly running a forced labor scheme out of Colin County the arrest came after authorities found more than a dozen young women living in the same house forced to sleep on the floor Fox Force David sendry spoke with the police chief from Princeton joins us now live David and police say there was basically no furniture inside this home at the center of the human trafficking investigation mostly just Electronics some folding tables and blankets but you know you never know what your neighbors got going on a family renting this home in Princeton east of mckin is blindsided to learn what was allegedly previously happening inside what was going on before we even moved in here it's kind of like really dark to think about Princeton Police Department is now releasing details of an investigation which led to four people being arrested in March after 15 women were found inside the home as alleged victims of human labor trafficking like we had no idea about anything seven Watkins and her siblings and mother just recently moved in according to an affidavit a pest control company was called to this home for possible bed bugs once inside the inspector noticed each room had 3 to five young females sleeping on the floors there were also large amounts of suitcases the company contacted police there was table set up with laptops and computers Sergeant Carolyn Crawford will not reveal what type of Labor operation was happening but says dozens of more people are involved I can probably say over 100 easily more than 100 people involved in this operation and are most of those 100 people here in DFW yes of those 100 people more than half are victims according to the sergeant as for the others well more arrests are expected for now shanden dasari Daka Gunda Sash katori and an Neil male are charged with trafficking of persons how we came across this situation was very unique the chief of police says his team has been working leads with Federal investigators for several months they would unravel just a multitude of other Clues and a multitude of other scenes that was going out there police also say addresses in mckin Melissa and other cities were allegedly involved in the forced labor operation as for the Princeton neighborhood I would have never thought that something like this was going on like a few houses down from mine it's too 20 24 right now I mean I can't believe that something like that's going on right now I thought we was living in a free country we all supposed to be free so you know it's very disappointing for now police will not reveal where the victims are from how they became forced into work or if they had opportunities to escape it's just very like creepy being in there the family now renting this home is beyond Disturbed like everyone's a little startled still the police department seized laptops cell phones and electronics during those initial stages of the investigation and it began examining all of those electronics and afterwards it says it was able to find evidence that an operation was happening again we don't know what type of operation they have not elaborated but after that that's when those arrest warrants for the four people in that story were made and those four people were taken into custody we will continue to keep you updated when any additional rest come out but for now Heather I'll send it back to you
