hi my name is amanda thompson and i am a protege agent with holly bremer agency under holly bremer in rochester minnesota district 54. my role as a protege agent is primarily in sales and service but what's really neat about the protege program is your opportunity to work with an experienced and successful agent to learn how to run your own agency my name is holly bremer and i'm an agency owner and mentor with farmer's insurance my role as a mentor is to guide my protege to the program so someday they can be a successful farmer's insurance agent what i look for in a protege is an individual that is committed motivated and self-driven and wants to own their own agency someday the protege program is preparing me to run my own agency by giving me the experience of working with a successful agent that's been in the industry for quite some time it's great to learn the ins and outs of the insurance industry from someone who's had really great success it's just nice to know that i have resources at my fingertips and someone who truly cares about me and her business and her clients and wants to see me succeed the way that she has the protege program offers so many benefits not only during the program but after completion so not only do you get the same help from district 54 that you've gotten the whole time you've been doing this there's financial resources available to help you open your agency they'll help you staff an agency and then they'll help me grow my agency as an agency owner the benefits of having a protege in my office are increasing staffing building my business more client reach and the privilege to be a part of a future agent success story at the end of my protege program ideally i'd like to open my own agency here in town i love being a mentor and i absolutely recommend that other agents take part in this program [Music] you
