in this video I'll teach you how to make this awesome presentation using PowerPoint I'm using PowerPoint for Microsoft 365 so let's get started so first I look for a dark wood texture on Google Images and I got this one which is the one that I'm going to use for my background and then I'm going to insert a rectangle I'm going to put it right here and this will be the background for our postcard so just make sure it's centered within the slide and then we're going to right click on it and go to format shape so first we're going to go to line and we're going to change the color to white using this panel right here and for the width let's change it to 13 points I found this paper texture on Google Images so I'm just going to copy the image and then on field I'm going to select picture or Texture field from clipboard amazing so now let's go to insert text box and we're going to add our text right here I'm going to use the font freestyle script which is a font that I believe I downloaded online somewhere I'm going to change the color to Black and increase the size and if you want the letters to be closer to each other just click on this icon right here click on character spacing and here let's select condensed and change the points to three and click on okay I'm going to rotate it slightly and put it right here in the middle now let's go to insert and we're going to select a word art and we're going to pick this one right here let's click on home so we can access this panel right here and I'm going to change the font to Aptos black and I'm just going to write the word for the title of my presentation which in this case will be Italy and I'm going to make it larger like this let's Center it in the postcard and then double click the text to select it go to text options and here let's select this icon right here and we're going to change the color of the Shadow to Black and you can use this panel right here to customize your Shadow I'm just going to change the angle and increase the distance a little bit and now let's click on this icon right here and we're going to change the color of the outline so here let's pick black and also increase the width to two points I'll copy an image that I found on unsplash.com and I'm going to select a picture or Texture feel from clipboard for the text now click on shape format then on text effects and here on transform we're going to select any of these options right here I think I like this one the wave one so I'm just going to click on it and that's how we get this awesome effect for the text I'll add another text box right here to add my name I'm going to pick the same font Aptos black and I'm just going to align the text to the right amazing this is looking so good so now let's go to insert icons and here we're going to look for a stamp let's pick this one right here and click on insert I'll just move it to the top right hand side I'll put right here and make it a little bit larger and also I'm going to stretch it so it looks like a rectangle I know it's looking a little bit weird at the moment but don't worry about it I'm just going to quickly change the color to white and click on this icon to add a shadow just pick a shadow and with this panel right here you can customize the options for the shadow so I'm just going to decrease the transparency and get rid of the blur now let's insert a new slide and here I'll add an image of my first CD which in this case will be Rome so now if I go back to the previous slide then if you click on insert and then go to this option right here Zoom click on slide zoom and select the second slide and click on insert you'll have this thumbnail of your following slide so now you can put it right here where the stamp is supposed to go I'll zoom in a little bit so we can adjust everything perfectly and if you click on slideshow mode you'll notice that when you click on it it takes you to the next slide however if you add any content to this slide what's going to happen is that it's going to get updated in the thumbnail as well and we don't want that so we need to have a different trick to make this work I'll duplicate the slide with contrl D then go back to the second slide go to Transitions let's uncheck on Mouse click and check after and just replace the last zero with a one with this trick what happens is that the second slide is the one that's on the stamp but it takes us automatically to the third slide which is where we're going to add our content so I just copy pasted the background of the postcard and here is where I'm going to add all of my information and you can pretty much just repeat the process using all of the elements that you already have I'm just going to copy and paste the stamp background that we have and for the stamp I just look for an Italy stamp on Google Images I found this one and to get rid of the background just click on color right here click on set transparent color and pick the white from the background and now you have an image with a transparent background amazing so we'll repeat the process we're going to add a new slide with our image for the next CD we're going to go back to the previous slide go to insert Zoom slide Zoom pick your next slide click on insert so I'll just make it smaller and put it right here where we have the space for our stamp and now I'll go back to my first slide select everything and group it and I'll just rotate it a little bit like this then go to the third slide select everything but the image and group it with contrl G and for this one I'll just add an animation so just click on flying then change the start to with preview and that's it guys that's how we make this awesome presentation using PowerPoint you can download these slides from
