in the aftermath of Aaron's battle with Annie the scouts find that there is a Titan in the wall itself and pastor nick tells them to keep it out of the sunlight afterward hanji interrogate him receiving no answers flashback 12 hours earlier in the scouts encounter a number of titans and set out to warn the populace about a breach in the wall they split into groups as meek a moves to slow the monsters down back to president mica kills multiple Titans buying enough time for the rest to escape but as speaking beastly tight and attacks him taking his gear leaving him to be brutally killed by the rest of the Titans whom the Beast Titan can apparently order around Armin theorizes that the walls could be made of hardened Titan skin Sasha meanwhile returns to her homelands who warned them but she was too late in like a badass saves a little girl afterward being reunited with her father and the other villagers Connie and Rainer then arrive at his hometown which was already destroyed and encountered at mysteriously malformed Titan and even more mysterious there are no signs of the Dead sometime later two groups of Scouts including Amir and Christa follow along the wall to find the breach but surprisingly find none afterwards taking refuge in an abandoned castle inside they find a storeroom with unknown language on supplies but Rainer finds that yamir can read it meanwhile [ __ ] explains corroborating armen's theory that the wall is made up of hardened Titan skin so they plan to use Eren to seal up wall Maria with his skin pastor Nick then finally decides to talk but only tells him who the church was instructed to watch who happens to be the Scout Christa just then the castle group is attacked by Titan surprisingly out at night and the elite Scouts take action while the beasts hide and from earlier climbs the top of the wall they found out the group of Titans but even more attack and the elites die leaving the other stranded at the top however to everyone's shock Emir jumps off the tower and transforms into a Titan flashback to get that training in the blistering cold of winter which Kristen DiMera stranded far from base Christa determined to save their injured comrade as despite your mayor's misgivings and it's revealed that Christa is the illegitimate daughter of a noble and went into hiding for her safety your mayor ends up secretly saving dads with her titan powers flashing back to present yamir titan fights the others in the remaining Scouts safe until Levi's group arrives to save the day you mayor then passes out krysta revealing that her real name is historia as our heroes recover in the present we flashback 12 hours earlier the scouts deducing that Rainer and Berthold may have helped with a female Titan find Aaron during the 57th exterior scouting mission Rainer then rather nonchalantly reveals to Aaron that he is the armored Titan and Berthold is the colossal Titan whose goal was to destroy humanity but it may not be necessary with Aaron for some reason and he asked Aaron to go with them Aaron obviously refuses and both Rainer and bertolt transforms taking Aaron and aamir but not giving up without a fight Aaron transforms as well feeling the bitter sting of betrayal the scouts attempt to fight the colossal Titan but it encompasses itself in steam so they can't get close while Aaron gets his butt whooped by Rainer Aaron however is able to use some grappling moves to gain the upper hand but on the verge of victory the colossal Titan falls on them allowing them to take Aaron away reinforcements arrive led by Commander Earl mm they set off toward a giant forest assuming that's where they took Aaron Aaron Raynor Berthold and Emir hang out in the forest while waiting for sunset to move while Aaron and Emir heal their severed limbs Raynor shows that he has a couple bolts loose having a difficult time living it with himself as Aaron rages at them and the scouts finally come into view Emir sides with Raynor and he plans to take krysta as well and Berthold questions her about being a Titan before she turned human again she reveals that she wandered for 60 years as a Titan and they set off away from the approaching Scouts you Maher realizes that christa is probably with them memories of her life as a human then taiidan then human again flashing through her and despite Rainer's objections she transforms into a Titan and takes Christa Amir explains to Christa that they're better off outside the walls but says that she kidnaps her so that Rainer and Berthold will forgive her for eating their friend but her motives are still fairly unclear the scouts catch up to the armored Titan while it turns out that Urban's group has flanked them from the front leading a group of Titan straight at them the scouts then rush in and succeed in getting Eren after many deaths and urban losing an arm however rainer begins tossing smaller tidings out the scouts causing Mikasa and Aaron's who fall and in the smoke they encounter the Titan who ate Aaron's mother Hans takes on the Titan as historian you mayor team up and Rainer continues throwing Titans at the scouts Eren desperately tries to transform and be casas unable to do anything being injured as Hans is killed Aaron completely loses all faith in himself but in a hugely emotional scene Mikasa inspires him to persevere and he inexplicably unlocks an ability to control the nearby Titans who devour the one who killed his mother afterward attacking Rainer giving the remaining troops an opening to escape yamir then decides to help reign are saving them intent on returning to their homeland as news of a breach in wall rows spreads citizens are forced to take refuge in an underground city within wall Sina however due to food shortages and people turning on each other authorities declare that wall rows is secure hanji and Connie reports who Erland that the origin of the Titans and Walt Rose is most likely humans from Connie's village and Irwin declares that they are one step closer to finding the truth we then see the beast Titan with some blonde dude on its shoulder as season 2 of attack on Titan ends [Music]
