Introduction

  • Purpose: Introducing Coco Note, an app for summarizing and taking notes.

Platform Availability

  • iPhone/iPad: Native app.
  • Web App: Accessible on Android, desktop (PC, Mac), etc.

Interface Overview

  • Home Screen: Displays notes in reverse chronological order (most recent at top).
  • Future Updates: Features to organize notes into folders.
  • Support: Easy to contact developers via a button (iOS) or support tab (Web).

Creating Notes

On iPhone

  1. New Note Button: Three options available:

    • Upload audio
    • Record audio
    • Use a YouTube video link
  2. Using a YouTube Video Link:

    • Paste the link
    • Auto-detect language option
    • Option to specify non-English languages
  3. Uploading Audio:

    • Tap Upload Audio
    • Select a file, auto-detect language
    • Help available for importing from iPhone's Voice Memos.
  4. Recording Audio:

    • Tap Record Audio, live recording begins.
    • Advice: Specify the topic being recorded for better quality.
    • Options after recording: Delete, Continue Recording, Save
    • Important: Keep the app open while recording for the best quality.
    • Note creation process might take longer for longer recordings.

On Web App

  • Similar functionality as iPhone for uploading audio and YouTube links.

Viewing and Interacting with Notes

  • Example: Lecture note on amino acids created from a YouTube link.
    • Features include: chapter headings, subheadings, takeaways.
    • Feedback on notes quality available.
    • Edit transcript or notes.

Quiz Feature

  • Practice: Answer questions based on the notes.
  • Feedback: Report issues with AI-generated content.

Flashcards

  • AI generates flashcards from the notes for review.

Translation

  • Translate notes into 100 supported languages.
    • Example shown: English to German.

Sharing

  • Share note links or copy text for collaboration.
    • Future updates will include export options to Google Docs, Notion, etc.
