okay so you guys can see my screen alright wow that's so easy why I'm trippin I'm gonna open it up for questions for you guys a little bit later on and going to give you the opportunity to ask me some questions as well as I'm gonna show you I'm gonna do some things that are just ninja super ninja so here we go tonight we're going to be talking about endless leads for life how to never run out of leads again and what's really amazing is a lot of people don't even there we go a lot of people don't even know what a lead is and don't know have any idea how to build a business or what the four components of business growth are if you have a business your business basically has three functions those three functions are number one is innovation that is creating something or inventing something or developing something or partnering with somebody who's created a minotaur develop something that the marketplace is screaming for that's called innovation innovations when you have something with the marketplace once and then the second component is marketing marketing is the art and science of discovering and developing and other people a desire for more and more of your product or service or your opportunity that's marketing and then the last function of business is money management and that is managing your money in such a way that the outflow doesn't exceed the income so the upkeep does not become the downfall and and in order to make sure that happens you want to scale your business you want to grow your business and then not just grow up but you want to grow it at scale scale basically means you want to grow your business exponentially over time not just incrementally over time there are four components that are multiples of each other there are multiples they multiply each other when these four components gives you the ability to make your business and grow at scale gives you the ability to make your business grow exponentially instead of incrementally and most people unfortunately only know how to grow their business in incrementally and what I'm gonna tell you is that it doesn't matter what kind of business you have it doesn't matter what part of the country or what part of the world you're it doesn't matter the price of your product or the intensity of your competition the thing that matters most with regard to you growing your business whatever your business is the thing that matters most is the four components of business growth and I know some of you have heard me talk about this before but I'm going to talk about it again right now because tonight we're gonna spend most of our time effort energy and attention focused on the one component and that is lead generation so the first component of business growth is lead generation you have to have somebody to sell to and when it comes to having somebody to sell to you got two choices you can either a sell to or attempt to sell to a prospect which is really really hard or you can attempt to sell to a lead so my objective for you is for me to help you sell the leads instead of selling the prospects and the difference is a prospect is any name in the phone book any person walking past you in the mall anybody parked beside you at the gas station anybody sitting next to you at the table next to yours at a restaurant those people are prospects they have no interest they've demonstrated zero interest or intrigue about you or what you have to offer so therefore they are a prospect and more accurately more accurately described they are a suspect what is the lead elite is somebody who has raised their hand and said I am either interested in open to or or at least willing to hear more about something that you have to offer so that's the difference between a prospect and a lead so I'm gonna teach you today how to generate endless leads for life first component of business growth is lead generation the second component of business which we're not going to talk about on this call tonight is lead conversion lead conversion means you converted the lead from a lead to a customer from a lead to a customer and so that lead conversion process is a process that we cover in great detail in our sell your way to wealth program which I think probably all of you on the call tonight have so endless so lead generation is the first component of business grow second component of business growth is lead conversion that is you convert the lead from a lead into a customer and many of you have gotten really really good at lead conversion some of you were already good at lead conversion before I met you and the problem with your business is that you don't have anybody to talk to if you had somebody to talk to if you have somebody to make an offer to six times a day you could close one or two of those people six times a day on a thousand two thousand three thousand five thousand eight thousand dollar sale but you don't have anybody to talk to some of you are in network marketing and you don't have anybody to talk to you some of you and I don't even remember who all is on here now but you whatever your business is the requirement for your business whether you are selling b2c or whether you're selling b2b or whether you're selling C to C it doesn't matter your business has to have leads in order to grow so lead generation is number one lead conversion is number two sitting converting them from the lead to a customer component number three is customer ascension once you've turned them into a customer the next objective that you have for those people is to ascend them up your customer ladder so that they go higher and higher up the customer chain they bought your $7 program now you want to sell them your $77 program then your 777 dollar program then your seventy seven hundred and seventy seven dollar program their 7777 dollar program etc etc etc and you don't stop raising the price until they stop by hopefully that makes sense to everyone so those are the components of lead kind of version you know what I don't like about this is I can't see whether you guys are still there or not but I think you are so I'm gonna I'll check on y'all in a few minutes it and by the way I know Deborah Smith is on here so Deborah I'm gonna and Adam Taylor and blues McElhaney a couple people who have my cell number so if I get if I get cut off if I get disconnected I'll send me a text and let me know so that way I don't have to keep checking on you guys okay and I'll come back and ask you some questions here shortly so the first thing we're going to talk about tonight when we talk about endless leads for life we're gonna talk about two sides of lead generation where I talk about the psychology of lead generation and then we're going to talk about the technology of this generation most people get hung up on the technology and think oh the technology's so hard but the reality is the biggest problem that most people have when it comes to the lead generation machine when it comes to lead generating leads for your business the biggest problem most people have is not the technology piece but it's the psychology piece it's understanding how prospects think and what prospects are after and what prospects desire or what leads what prospects desire that you can turn them into a lead the psychology of lean generation I would say is infinitely more important than the technology of lead generation because you can hire somebody to do the technology piece it's kind of hard to hire somebody to do the psychology piece so the psychology of lead generation let's talk about that understanding the the psychology of lead generation the foundational understanding about lead generation is this that 67% in fact sixty-seven percent of your ideal customers are are not looking for what you offer right now 67 percent only 3 percent now 3 only 3 percent of your ideal customers are looking right now for what you have you may sell weight-loss but I've got news for you only 3 percent of the fat people out there are looking for weight loss no offense to anybody just I'm just telling you so right I remember when I used to be considerably overweight the reason I was overweight was not because I couldn't find a way to lose weight it was because I liked food more the idea of eating something was more exciting to me than the idea of losing weight and 67 percent of your ideal clients and I don't mean people who when I say ideal clients I'm not talking about people who your product will work for I'm talking about people who your product will work for and they are either interested in or would be interested in or at least are open to what you have to offer only 67 percent of those people are looking for what you have to offer right now and so what you have to understand the first and most critical component of the psychology of lead generation is the psychology that's going on inside your own head you have to be different than everybody else in the marketplace who is in the same space that you were in and what made the space the Bay Area is they are only interested in attracting Aileen who is ready to buy right now like most of the car dealerships out there are only interested in attracting a lead who's ready to buy a car right now except for people just don't buy cars everyday you know we might buy cars every couple of years so if you're only targeting people who are ready to buy a car right now then your in your marketing and your lead generation is only going to appeal to about 3% of the people who it comes across so we out of 100 max 30 out of a thousand 300 out of 10,000 people are going to be opened or interested in what you have right now so what you've got to do is you got to figure out how do you tap into that other 67% of ideal clients who are not looking for what you have and you've got to be okay with that you got to be okay with generating lead generation and then you've got to be good with lead cultivation and then what you'll eventually have is lead maturation and which means the leads will mature so let's look at the percentages of where people are when it comes to being a lead or not being the lead being in true student what you have or not being interested in what you have how many of you have noticed that the majority of people you talk to about your product your service or your opportunity they're just not interested well the reason they're not interested is not because what you have is not good for them what the reason 30% of them are not interested is because they're gonna be a no anyway but the reason the rest of we're not interested is one of these reasons 3% of your ideal clients are actively looking right now for what you have if you only desire to build your business if you only focus on building your business by generating leads who are actively looking right now your business cannot grow exponentially because it's too small of a segment of the market 3% is too small a segment of the market for you to have any kind of impact 7% are open to what you had to offer but they're not actively looking like if you you brought it to them they'd say okay I'll take it but they're not actively looking for a solution you know somebody who somebody who just came from the doctor and they found out they've got high blood pressure and diabetes and heart disease if you sell nutrition and weight loss they're gonna be a lot more open than they would have been yesterday before they got that niche but if tomorrow they get a call from the doctor and the doctor says oh we got your chart mixed up with somebody else you don't have high blood pressure you don't have heart disease and you don't have diabetes now there are a lot less likely so you have to understand that whether or not a prospect is even open to what you offer let alone actively looking is determined by timing where are they in their lives right now that is going to determine greatly whether or not that person is going to be in the 3% or in the 7% now 30% of your ideal clients are aware of your offer when I say your offer I don't mean they're aware of what you predict are particularly oven but they're aware of the fact that there is a solution to their problem and they're not looking for please cry have it in the back of their mind okay when I get ready to lose weight there's something out there for me okay when I get ready to get healthy there's a way for me to do that okay there's a way for me you know why are you ready to start my own business I'm sure there are opportunities out there for me so thirty percent are aware that your solution is what it should say not your offer but your salute of your solution or of a solution and they would be open to it if you shared it to them at the right time thirty percent of your ideal clients are totally unconscious of you they don't know you exist they don't know a solution to their problem exists they may not even be aware of the fact that they have the problem yet so thirty percent are unconscious of you and your solution and then the last thirty percent they are not gonna buy from you they're not gonna buy what you sell from you no matter what regardless they just are not gonna do it they're not gonna buy from you because they're just not gonna buy from you so just get over it just understand you can't nobody can sell to everybody I know sometimes when I'm doing presentations it seems like I can't get it out and for those of you who do sales you understand what I'm at you know the street and sometimes like everybody you talk to is like yes yes yes yes yes yes yes if like if like shooting fish in a barrel and then you go through a slump right and there's like no no no no no no no right so you have to understand there are a percentage of the people out there who are never gonna buy from you regardless of what you sell even if it saves their life the life of one of their children or the life of one of their grandparents so there's not to buy because they're not gonna buy they're not gonna buy buy so just get over the objective of a great salesperson is to sort not to convince like when I'm doing especially when it comes to lead generation lead generation totally eliminates the need for compulsion and persuasion you do not have to compel people to buy your stuff when you generate enough leads listen I'm gonna let you guys in on a little secret I'm gonna show you guys some really really cool stuff I'm gonna give me some really really cool tools did you know that if you generate three leads per day six days a week and then four leads on the seventh day did you know that's a hundred leads a month what would you how would your business be impacted your network marketing business your coaching practice your your tax practice your your your credit repair business your your network marketing offers your online offers how would your business be impacted if you generated a hundred new leads per month you're an author your coach your speaker imagine if you generated 100 new potential speaking opportunities per month that's only three a day imagine how your business would explode well guys I'm gonna tell you something your business could explode massively if you were to go out there and just generate three leads per day six days per week and then one lead per day four leads per day on set on one day on the seventh day that's that's crazy that's like a hundred leads a month guess what you want three instead of instead of generating instead of generating three leads a day what have you generated ten leads per day and leads per day every month you'd be generated between 300 and 310 leads with just 10 weeks per day I got an email from an internet marketer the other day okay just to let you know what's possible this guy sent out an email that he's generating 3,000 leads per day and I'm going to show you will show you guys some formulas here like there's nobody on this call who couldn't generate an average I want to show you one technique that'll give you the opportunity to instantaneously generate a hundred leads per month I showed this to my brother the very first time he used it he added 75 hundred names to his list in 30 days so I'm gonna show you all that strategy tonight so so that is the psychology of lead generation now you have to understand the lead generation has some problems and I'm going to talk to you about the problems of lead generation the problems of lead generation on that most businesses have is number one the problem of no leads and the reef you don't have any leads the reason you don't have any leads is because of your lack of understanding about lead generation or your lack of understanding about your leads problem in other words the problem that your lead has you maybe you don't understand lead generation maybe you don't even understand what lead generation means and what lead generation means is you're gonna give somebody something in exchange somebody who's looking for a solution that you have for them either right now in the future you're gonna give them something that they're looking for in exchange for their contact information so marketing you know a lot of people think that marketing is is handing out information marketing is not giving out information marketing is gathering information so you're in marketing your number one objective is to gather information from your ideal prospects so with that in mind with that in mind not understanding lead generation not understanding what it is not understanding how to do it so I'm gonna tell you right now how to generate leads you find you figure out exactly first of all whom you desire to generate as a lead like what is like who are they who's the person who you can help the second thing you do is you have to figure out what their problem is so if you're know if you don't have enough leads you either don't understand lead generation or you don't understand you have a lack of understanding about your leads problem the problem in your lead ask so for instance I'm gonna I'm gonna escape this for a one second I'm gonna go over here to my Lebanon I'm gonna look at some of my attendees and see who's here and I'm gonna tell you so Adam Taylor for instance Adam Taylor his leads problem his leads are going to be his ideal clients are going to be students who want to get a basketball scholarships athletic scholarship in general but basketball for starters so they want to get a basketball scholarship I was just talking to my knee might not my niece Mike my sister-in-law who has two sons who are both juniors in high school and I said I've got a friend who is a coach who can get helps parents help their kids get a scholarship and he charges between three and five thousand dollars I said would you pay that she said absolutely and there's not a parent in the world who cares about their kids going to school and getting a degree if they could get a athletic scholarship and only pay $3,000 here we know three thousand dollars is a whole lot less than $30,000 a year for for tuition I don't I know that uh Bruce mcenany's on here I know that Bruce is in network marketing and Bruce can help people lose weight well guess what if you know their problem Bruce your ideal client is going to probably be a it could be a man or a woman but probably more likely a woman because women tend to be more concerned about their weight than guys guys just allow themselves to look themselves bill but women don't do that so I mean women do it but they're more concerned to that so so let's say it's a woman between the ages of 37 and 57 who desires to lose that stubborn extra 10 pounds or 20 pounds okay and they want to be able to lose weight but they hate going to the gym and so what you've got to do is you got to create a solution for them that solves all of those problems for you take you take Debra Smith who is going to help women figure out biblical solutions for your entrepreneurial challenges and all you have to do is figure out who they are what their problem is and then you have to understand the solution and not just the solution that you think is the solution but the solution that they would recognize as a solution so the problem the problem of lead generation is and by the way when you guys have a question feel free to type it in I'm going to come back to that in a minute present from the beginning present isn't on the screen trying to figure out how to do this to get back to this present of you okay perfect I did it at school okay so so so lead generation and so you've got to understand lead generation you got to understand your leads problem and then you got to understand your lead solution now when I say understand your lead solution I'm not talking about understand what you recognize as a solution I'm talking about understanding what they recognize the solution see the problem of no leads is a direct result of you not either not understanding lead generation by the way lead generation is one of the easiest things on the planet it's like one it's like taking candy from a baby it's like it's like falling out of bed okay you say Myron what do you mean by that I mean all you have to do is know what somebody is looking for and know either where to find it or how to create it let him know you have it and offer it to him for free like done lead generation complete so when you know their problem and you know their solution for instance when I was when I first started selling online the very first product that I sold online in fact I'll show this to you guys wasn't so I need to stop sure I'm not gonna show that to you but anyway when I first started selling online I had this product called bigger better faster network marketing was for audio CDs and I had this other product that I created called tax reduction university that I created for my accountant because I created it for him I told him when I created for him I was going to have the Regent lights and then the resale lights as well so what happened was I got started selling online my first month selling things on the Internet I did six thousand seven hundred dollars in sales well how did I do six thousand seven hundred ollars in sales my first month well the way I was able to do that because I had some leads but on that product bigger better faster even though I was selling the product on that site I gave away a free audio called the 13 biggest mistakes network marketers ever make that program has been downloading over a hundred thousand times on the internet it's a free program but it was so good that people would have been willing to pay for it so what you do when you create a free product that you give away that product is a solution that solution is known as a lead magnet a lead magnet and the reason it's called a lead magnet is because it attracts leads to you now that's the problem of no leads if you don't have any leads it's because you need to build an understanding generation or you don't understand the problem that your leads have or you don't understand completely the solution now when I talk about the solution and I talk about the problem here's what I'm gonna tell you and I don't remember who I heard say this what makes so much sense to me when you can describe your prospects problem better than they can they instantaneously know that you are the one who is meant to be their trusted adviser because if you can so if you can describe the problem better than making it they automatically assume that you know the solution so you've got to get really really good at speaking to your prospects pain and then showing them that your solution can help them gain so that's the problem with no leads if you don't have any leads the reason you don't have any leads is because you don't have any lead magnets out there you don't have a lead capture site you don't have a free offer you just don't have anything you're not giving anything away everyone anybody I know that has generated more than that I was I was at this conference this past weekend and I talked to all these people who were coaches and authors and speakers and all this other stuff and I was asking them well how many leads do you have well I got a few hundred how in the world can you be in business for years and only have a four hundred leave how can you be a business for years that only have a few thousand leads okay so anyway I'm gonna show you guys it's something really really cool I'm getting really inspired right here so I think what I'm gonna do starting Monday on the hour to an hour's really talk about exponential business growth over the next couple of weeks and lead people to some that could really change their life all right so so hopefully that all makes sense now the next component is not maybe not the problem of no leads but maybe it's the problem of too few leads so it's not that you don't have any leads it's just that you don't have enough you don't have enough leads I'm gonna tell you why your marketing is either you're doing branding marketing brand net recognition marketing which I which I personally named this is the name that I am made for it made up work so just know that I made this up I call it so what marketing or so what advertising and most businesses master their masters and so what advertise and after you tell somebody you're advertising pitch or spiel if they can say so what then your marketing is very very in effective it's very very ineffective so I'm gonna show you what I mean cuz I'm gonna pull open a yellow pages and I'm gonna just show you what I mean when I say so what advertising so I've got a you say man why do you have a yellow page I saved them because that's how I find that's how I find local local marketing plans to sell to if they're dumb enough to be my own hands in the Yellow Pages then they really need my help okay so we're there so I pulled out this yellow page that's right and so I'm just gonna turn to something here that I'm gonna find a really big full-page ad okay ICC Insurance Center Insurance Center of Connerton okay oh this is a Land O'Lakes phone book this is great this is a little town I used to live in so insurance center of Connerton Auto rates too high need help need homeowners insurance let us hope you find the best weeks representing many a rated companies so what I don't even know what an A rated company it's low down payments available okay that sounds okay Auto flood home boat in Rd and then it gives all these company names progressive the travellers blah blah blah at the end of the day I say so what it has their own office number has the agents number so what has office number of so what has the address so what this ad is only going to be appealing to me if I am looking for the lowest price insurance right this minute otherwise I don't care but what if this ad instead said instead of branding the insurance center of Connerton and instead of branding progressive and travelers in the hartford and the mercury group or the rest of them and infinity and all these other insurance carriers what if it said warning don't buy insurance again for your car boat house or harvey until you read this special free you know what I got their name and their email address and I know they don't want to get scammed so so many so almost every ad that I'm looking at in here is only good for somebody who wants to do business right now which is a problem and these businesses don't really just don't even get they really don't even get what business is all about air conditioning companies with full-page ads a CC solutions Florida's most trusted service company serving Tampa Bay since 1957 so what Midway services 24 hours a day seven days a week service repair installation complete you know what you know what that tells me that tells me if I'm if my air conditioner breaks now those are the guys I want to call but otherwise they're not the guys on what call so and I got my air conditioner guys phone number programmed into my phone I'm just saying forget about the name of your company I'm gonna taste something you want you want to do it you want to you want a really powerful business card if if I were if I were in the weight loss if I were in the weight loss cat or what I would do is I would do a I would do a free audio on six foods and seven exercises that keep you from losing weight or I might do something on the these three these three foods that help you lose weight free food that can help you lose ten pounds in the next three days or whatever and I would give them a free special report instead of making to branding conscious we're so busy wanting to somebody to know the name of our company or the name of our product or our name I'm blown away the company logo on most business cards is the biggest thing on the business card first of all I don't use business cards because if I want to do business or somebody I'm gonna collect their name and email I'm gonna collect their name email address and phone number I'm gonna get their information so that I control the next point of contact I'm not gonna give them a business card because if somebody calls me because I gave them my business card the only reason they're calling me is because they want to sell me something not because they want to buy something that I sell I know you guys know exactly what I'm talking about so what you want to do is you want to create a situation where you can have where you can have people who are ready to buy what you are selling when you are ready to sell to them instead of instead of having so what marketing and giving people business cards with your name and the name of your company your company logo I'm gonna tell you something I remember I was in network marketing companies selling their business Berg I know while you're busy I don't want business card with your name on it first of all I'm not interested in promoting your product before I promote mine second of all the name of your company means nothing to my potential clients and the name of the product means nothing to you but I'm gonna give someone your card I'm gonna give them a card do you think about this what our marketing is so me conscious what do I mean by that we want them to know our name and our phone number and our email address and the best way to contact us and how to get ahold of us if they want to call us at three o'clock in the morning how to get ahold of us a forum vacation hey I am not the least bit interested in any of that if I desire to do marketing with some money I am NOT interested in telling them how they can get a hold of me I am far more interested in telling them in finding out how they would like me to get a hold of them now that just makes good sense does that make sense you guys if that makes good sense typing that makes sense dumb enough to buy marketing in the Yellow Pages that's a that's a golden nugget that's funny okay fantastic okay you guys are do you guys are picking up what I'm putting down so stop being so interested in telling people about you I'm gonna tell you something I'm gonna tell you something I want to tell you something about you your prospects don't care period your prospects don't care about you that's what I know about your prospects they don't care about you they don't care about your phone number they don't care about your product they don't care about your product name you don't care my products my prospects and leaves don't care about me they only care about them so if I want them to care about me then I've got to care about them and the only way the only way that is going to happen is if I am giving them what they are looking for and not trying to get something from them so I'm to me conscious and then no one wants to get guy you say man what does that mean no one wants to get back people are out there trying to get folks to buy and they're trying to get folks to get in their business you're trying to get folks to do something guess what nobody wants to get down so stop trying to get people stop trying to get people to buy stop trying to get people to join stop trying to get people and start giving to people start serving people I'm gonna taste something and I'm gonna tell you something you know I am NOT I am NOT a late-night person at all I'm a I'm a Morning Glory I am NOT a night out but I do the IR to empower I do it faithfully I get on that call at 10 o'clock at night when I much rather be in my bed thinking about the dreams I'm about to have how would much rather I'd rather get up at 4 o'clock in reason big companies do brand advertising is because they have deep pockets so they can afford to spend dumb money on big ass and on brandy you don't need to do that ok I don't care listen I care less so I'm using my brand all I care about is do I have their contact information so I can let them know what I'm about to solve another one of their problems I'm gonna solve the first one for free I might even solve the second one for free the third one they're gonna have to pay me so that's why when you create your marketing don't if you have the problem if you have if you have a lead capture site and you have a lead bang something free you're giving away but you're not getting enough leads it's because your branding is to me conscious and nobody cares about you what you I'll show you what marketing to people who want to learn how to gain weight that's a product mismatch and there are so many people out there or you're Luke you're generating you're generating leads of people who need to in your mind need to lose weight but needing to do something is not the same as desiring to do it people don't buy what they need they buy a one so people buy what they desire to buy so if new desires generate more qualified leads don't have a product mismatch don't promote don't promote your product to the wrong audience if you do it's going to be it's going to be disasters for instance business opportunity seeker leads you don't want to generate business opportunity secret leads on NPR radio NPR radio has basically negative narrow-minded skeptics they're not going to buy it this opportunity that would be a product mismatch you don't want to put that lead you want to generate those leads on that station so that would be a product mismatch a principle niche match a principle Mitch max mismatch would be when you have a different set of principles than the people you're marketing to in other words you don't want it you don't want to advertise a church service on a hard rock station and you don't want to advertise a bar on a Christian station it'll be a principle mismatch you've got to make sure that you design your marketing in such a way so that you don't attract people whose principles and values are not the same as your principles in values because if you do he's basically making your own life hard for no reason so it's like the story about the guy goes to lunch in construction worker and he opens his lunch box and he's got peanut butter and jelly his lunch box he says man I cannot believe peanut butter and jelly again I don't even like peanut butter enjoy 30 years 30 years and I still have peanut butter and jellies and the guy looks at me says Jim calm down if you don't like peanut butter and jelly why don't you just tell your wife you don't like peanut butter and jelly and he pointed to God said look man you leave my wife out of this I pack my own lunch and it's like so many people don't even realize don't even realize they're making their own business life hard because they're packing the wrong lunch they are attracting the wrong kinds of leads when I build my business I build my business in such a way that I only desire to attract the leads that I desire and I desire to repel the leads that I desire to repel I want to attract everybody there are some leads that I just don't want I don't want I don't want leads I don't want I don't want to attract a bunch of lead to our alcohol that's not that's not who I desire to serve I don't want to attract leads who are homosexuals that's not who I desire I don't want to attract lead to her or you know prostitutes that's not who I desire to serve so what do I do I make my message I make my message match the market that I desire to attract so I have a market to message match some of you have heard me say on my calls and on some of my calls and even on television radio broadcast if you see me you know that I am a Christian businessman I don't back on the door with that I don't attempt to hide that I used the I refer to the Bible on my trainings why do I do that so that people who are offended by the vile I do it to attract people who love the same things I love and who are interested in the same things I'm interested in to in on I also do it to repel the people who don't love what I look and to repel the people who don't like what I like and don't agree with what I agree with I don't I am NOT trying to attract everybody he said what you ask people well whose you brought it for that's for everybody anything that is for everybody is also for nobody so what you've got to do is you've got to get to the place in your life and in your business where your business is no longer for everybody because a product mismatch a principle mismatch can make your business life miserable I remember when I lived in Brunswick Georgia and I was in a network marketing company and I recruited this guy and he and his wife and you know I am very very I would that would be very very good at New York I could like I would be I would fit in so well there because I don't do cryptic messages I don't like I'm like if I sometimes on my mind it's going to tell you right I'm not gonna back in the door with it I'm not gonna give you some kind of code I'm not gonna give you a hint I'm not gonna like pretend that I don't like you or pretend that I like you when I secretly hate you if I anyway so we had this this guy and his wife they were in our network marketing organization back in nineteen ninety eight ninety seven ninety eight and my wife comes to me one day and she says my this guy's wife does not like you you know all that right sure enough I find out not only does she not like me this woman way hates me which was fascinating to me um but it was fascinating to me because I didn't know it so one of the things that that situation helped me to come to a conclusion about was I only desire to work with people I desire to work with so I intentionally create marketing that repels people that I don't desire to work with and that's one of the things you got to do so that you don't end up with a people mismatch and sometimes you just end up with the people in this match because the person just doesn't like you your personality doesn't like they're like you're it's okay it's okay we can agree to disagree and everybody's going to be fine so product mismatch then product mismatch is the rule is a creates the wrong kind of leads principle mismatch creates the wrong kind of leads principle mismatch creates the wrong kind of leads and people mismatch creates the wrong kind leads you don't want you don't want the wrong kind of leads you want the right kind of leads and the way you get the right kind of leads by setting your business up in that way in the first place so let's talk about the purpose of lead generation what is the purpose of lead generation well the reality is the purpose of lead generation is so that you never wanted people to talk to so the purpose of the purposes of lead generation purpose number one is to increase your lead quantity in other words so that you have more people to offer to then you have time to offer two and really not really time because technology really takes time out of the equation but you want to have so many people to to make an offer to that you never run out of people offer - I mean that's that's really the purpose increase your quantity quantity if you've got a highly quantity of leases you got a large lead list then it gives you the ability to go to that list and make offers and get paid almost at will like literally like you can say okay well I desire to get paid so what I'm gonna do is I'm gonna create this offer and that offer is gonna allow me to get paid okay great so you are going to [Music] increase the quantity of your leads I'm gonna tell you something if you've got a list let's say you've got a list of 5,000 leads those leads should be worth somewhere between $1 and $3 a month to you okay so so you want to increase the quality of quantity of your leads the more leads you have the more money you make why because the more opportunities you have to make offers so increase your lead quantity that's one reason the other purpose of lead generation is to increase your lead quality what does that mean you know you want a better quality lead so there are some things that you can do to increase the quality of your league one of them is make sure that your market your message matches the market that you desire to attract we already talked about that so I'm not gonna go there the other way that you can increase the quality of your leads is by offering them converting them sooner so the sooner you convert early and the sooner lead converts I should say it that way the sooner a lead converts after they become a lead the better quality of lead that person is so let's say somebody opts in right after the opt-in right opt-in by the way means somebody gives you their name and email address or name phone number email address or name phone number email address and they only address somebody becomes a lead for you they opt in the more information they give you the better quality they'll lead they are so if you make somebody jump through a bunch of Hoops and they jump through a bunch of Hoops and they still become a lead that person is a very qualified lead hopefully that makes sense so the sooner you sell them something let's say they opt in and as soon as they opt-in you make them an offer let's say a what are you gonna offer let's say you offer them a $7 special report they've already opted in you offer them a $7 special report and they buy it great so that person is a more qualified lead if you have 10 people that opt-in today and and one of them buys your $7 report the one that bought your $7 report is a more qualified lead one because there are more hyper responsive fire and you want want a ginormous list of hyper responsive buyers by the way ginormous is the offspring of giant gigantic an enormous when they got married and kids ginormous was their first job okay I know I'm terribly corny so pray for me anyway so you want a ginormous list of super responsive googoo super responsive buyers I just looked at my facebook page and I just saw something so glorious I'm gonna show it to you guys later though I'm gonna get to that when I get to that part of it so the the thing that you desire to do or you should desire to do is you should desire to increase your lead quantity but also increase your lead quality the other thing that you can do to increase your lead quality is not just to convert them quickly but also to ascend them as high as possible the higher a lead goes in your ascension path the better quality lead they are I'm gonna tell you guys something that doesn't seem to make sense at first glance but it really does if somebody buys something from you they will be more likely to buy something from you in the future because they've bought something from you in the past then somebody who's never bought anything from so one of the things that you should desire to do in your lead generation efforts is you should desire to convert leads as quickly as possible because as soon as they convert they're more likely to convert ns and so the more they buy the more they buy and what's really interesting about human psychology is the fact that when somebody buys something from you they will buy something else from you to justify a previous purchase that they made from you now like that just doesn't seem to make sense but it really does make a lot of sense if somebody buys your $7 product they will buy your $70 product just to prove to themselves and others that they made a good decision when they bought the last thing so just know so that no that so that so that you can generate higher quality and quantity of leads all right and then lean corn see you want to increase your lead quantity you want to increase your lead quality and then you want to increase your lead Quarantine when the law does that mean what is a corn thing while quarantine is when you get somebody and you separate them from everybody else and what you do when somebody opts in to your list you are bringing them into a sterile environment where the only promotions and the only advertisements they see are the ones that are coming from you now I'm gonna take something it's easier to sell somebody it's easier to sell somebody who's only getting sales messages from you than it is to sell somebody who's getting all the sales messages from everybody so one of the things that you deserve to do and should desire to do is to generate is to generate leads so that you can bring them into your own environment you know the best-selling book at my events or my books why because there's no other books for sale at my events the best selling products on my calls are my products what there's no other products for sale when you bring a lead into your list you are quantanium that link that lead so that the only person they're getting marketing messages from on that channel are you imagine if you could be the only person on CNBC with an ad imagine if you could be the only person on ESPN with an ad well you can't but you can be the only person on your channels with an ad and guess what your competition is not smart enough to generate a lead they're only out there trying to sell to the 3% of the people who are active buyers and ready to buy right now so literally this gives you when you increase your the purpose of lead generation you understand the purpose of lead generation is to increase lean qala quantity and so you get more leads increase lead quality so you get better leads and increase lead Quarantine so that your leads are buying in a vacuum it's a beautiful beautiful thing and the next thing we want to talk about we talked about the purposes of lead generation now we're gonna talk about the practices a lead generation so the practices of lead generation of these the practice number one the first thing you have to understand is the practice of lead generation should be direct response marketing so you're taking notes I told you before you don't want to do brand recognition but what you do desire to do and should desire to do is you should desire to do direct response marketing you say man what's direct response marking that is where you are marketing to people for the purpose of creating a direct response okay your your advertising and marketing the people for the purpose of creating a direct response that's what you desire to get from them a direct response so once you get that direct response and by the way you have to know what that response is so you have to know the response you desire what does that mean so when you're generating leads how you generate leads when I used to do network marketing sometimes I had lead generation like I'd run an ad in a magazine and then I'd have a toll-free number that people could call they would call and I believe they'd need a message I they'd hear a message that went something like this hello my name is Myron Goldman I am looking to see if you qualify to work with me in my opportunity I wouldn't say the word opportunity but I'd say something like I am I've created this as a method of sorting to see who qualifies for the opportunity to work with me if you qualify for the opportunity to work with me then maybe you'll be like one of the people that I've helped in the past go out and build a six or multiple six-figure income the first thing we have to do is find out if you're coachable if you are coach will leave your name phone number and email address twice and someone will get back with you and schedule an interview now is it and so I knew the response I want it here's this response I desire I desire for them to leave their name their phone number and their email address twice they only left any one of those things one time guess what they didn't even get a call back why because I knew the response I desired when I go when somebody goes to Myron Goldman consulting and they put in their name and email address I know the response I desire and so because I know the response I desire I get the response I desire because I set up my marketing in such a way to get exactly that response by the way if you don't know the response you desire how will you know when you've gotten it so first of all know the response you desire we've already talked about this so I won't spend a lot of time there know the recipient you design another word know who you desire to attract as a lead and know how you desire to attract them and when I say know the recipient are they a person who's going to respond better to an email are they going to be a person who's going to respond better to a postcard or a direct mail piece or phone call no the recipient you designer number three know the recipe the recipe you desire in other words what is the perfect mix of lead generation for you are you going to go offline to drive traffic to an online lead lead magnet and lead capture device or are you going to go online and drive traffic to an offline lead magnet and lead capture device you can do it either way you can use offline methods you can use a postcard or a direct mail letter and then send people to an online page or you could use an online method maybe a Facebook ad and then drive traffic to an offline lead capture device like a recorded message a 24-hour recorded message so know the recipe that you desire know exactly what you desire them to do and exactly the order in which you desire them to do it I'm going to show you something I'm going to show you guys exactly what I'm talking about here short because we've already been going for over an hour let me check and see if you guys are okay you guys okay if you're okay typing I'm okay okay everybody's okay good guys okay good you have any questions don't hesitate to type them in all right everybody's okay perfect so that's the practice of director shots now the next thing that we did want to look at is we want to look at the recipe for leads that turn into sales what is the recipe we want to tell you what the recipe is it's a beautiful recipe it's a beautiful recipe and that recipe is this information transformation indoctrination you'll follow those three steps I'm telling you you're you're a few steps away from getting bait say what do you mean information so there's all kinds of things that you can give away as lead magnet you can give away free samples as lead magnets now I used to sell free samples of lead magnets but you can give away or you can sell so you can even give away free samples as a lead magnet in fact I just I just got generated as a lead for Dean gracio see cuz russell brunson sent out an email and said hey this guy made over 200 million dollars and i paid him a hundred thousand dollars last year and this is why you should give him $6.95 so what I did was I opened up the email and I knew it was a free plus shipping offer so the guy's giving away his book for free and all I had to do was pay $6.95 shipping so he gave me the book I paid $6.95 shipping by the way all of you anybody on this call can do this I did if you have a book I gave away that he gave away the book so I paid him 695 for shipping he immediately had a an order form bump which means I could have checked the box and gotten the name of the book was like a millionaire successful or something like that I could have checked the box and paid 14.95 and gotten the eBook version so I'd have instant access to it but I didn't do that and then as soon as I paid it took me to another page and said wait your orders not complete then he gave me this big long spiel about why I should take advantage of his $97 special get started fast bla bla bla so I said no no thanks I'm not going to do that either and then it took me to another page where he said well since you didn't do that why don't you take advantage of this QuickStart blah blah blah and it's only forty seven dollars and I didn't do that either but I could have and then it took me to a page to register for his webinar well folks I paid him $6.95 I'm one of his leads I didn't buy the other stuff but now I'm coming to his webinar on Tuesday anybody can do that that's called information okay so you give away information you can give away a free sample a free sample could be if you give away a free sample you'll play the free sample have them pay shipping if you're giving away free samples so you just have them pay shipping I really like what we call free plus shipping offers in other words we're giving you the offer for free but I'm gonna ship it you're gonna pay for shipping I like those because it gives me their physical address as well as their email address and now instead of only having one channel to market to them through that being email now I've got email and I've got direct mail okay so um so you can give free samples you can give away free proof you can give away free information that information can come in the form of a book special report and ebook and audio a video a quiz and answer it can be a one page it can be one page one answer and it's just it's got to be information some kind of information information makes for the best lead magnets now I'm going to give you my opinion and it's probably because this is my opinion probably because I'm a very auditory person like it's easier for me to read a listen to a book than it is for me to read a book okay so and I think I was just talking to Debra Smith about this or Debra Smith it was just telling me about this this past week but for me the best kind of lead magnet is an audio here's why I say it's the best kind it's the easiest to create it's really easy to create you basically create an outline and then do a recording based on that I mean it's just the easiest thing in the world so an audio is easy to create it's easy to to sell or give away even you have to understand even when you're giving something away you still have to sell them on taking so it's easy to create it's easy to sell and it's easy to distribute so for those reasons I like audios as the information I create for me an audio is easier to consume than something I read why if I'm gonna read something I can't do anything else while I'm reading wow that's not true cuz I did just take a walk yesterday morning a three-mile walk while I rinse a couple of a couple of marketing booklets so but I took the walk so that I felt like I was doing something other than just reading so two videos are great because there are higher intimacy but when you give somebody in a video they can't do anything else but watch the video water watching the video what it does by the way create a higher level of intimacy and a greater connection because they're giving you more attention what an audio is quicker to create than a video it's easier and it's easy to deliver so I like information is the best kind of lead magnet and I like audios as the best kind of information to give or as the best kind of lead magnet to you now transformation what does transformation mean it means the information that you give them has to create some kind of transformation that they would have been willing to pay for so when you give somebody never give somebody information that does not lead to transformation it's got to change their mind it's got to change their approach it's got to change how they think it's got to change how they talk it's got to change the results they're getting the information that you give to them has to change something if it doesn't change something then you basically have now disqualified yourself as a trusted adviser you have shown them that you cannot help them unless your information creates transformation and by the way it's easy hear me now it's easy to create information that transforms it's not hard it's easy one of the ways you can do it is you can just change the format you can find somebody okay so I'm going to give you a couple of things one my good my dear friend the late great Charlie tremendous Jones one of the greatest humans I've ever met and I learned so much from here you are a book called life is tremendous I would recommend it for anybody it was really a great book but I read that book when I was in my 20s and one of the nuggets that I got out of that book that has impacted my life and still impacts my life today and I read it when I was probably 21 or 22 years old Charley tremendous Jones said when you listen to a sermon or you read a book or you go to a seminar don't like and something resonates with you don't write down what they said write down what you thought of as a result of what they said I'm gonna tell you something that has made that statement that sense has made me so much money so instead of when I read a book writing out somebody said I write down what I think of as a result of what they said and now I've got my own genuine content I'm not saying what they said I'm saying what they said made me think I would say so I'm gonna be like really transparent I got a lot of my ideas for trash man to catch man from Rich Dad Poor Dad I'm sure that's not news I got a lot of the concepts the ideas for that book but in my opinion the way he said it made it complicated and the way I said it made it easy in my opinion I grant it's my opinion right but I wrote down what I thought of as a result of what he said and that book has made me millions of dollars it wasn't just that look those other things that I learned - but but that book was a major contributing factor to my whole trash man - cache man concept of the financial house etcetera in the window of well that Center so information that creates transformation see when you create information that creates for people transformation they will open the door for you to create indoctrination the word doctrine means teaching so indoctrination means you become their teacher when you become somebody's teacher oh it's such a beautiful thing and I know in your mind it's hard for you to wrap your mind around the idea that you could be somebody's teacher I'm I remember it's so it's so cool how how life comes full circle I remember probably five six seven years ago maybe even longer than that watching this woman on YouTube who was teaching about just different tax things and I reached out to her about two years ago and said you know I've been watching your videos on YouTube for years bla bla bla and uh you know I really like what you do and I think I can help you she came from Georgia down to Florida to the one-year millionaire live when she came to the one-year millionaire live she bought my speaker course and she's a part of King Solomon's Apprentice which is my which is my business partnership program and its really King Solomon's apprentice is really remarkable this woman he used to do seminars and she said she said this so I this is not this is not me putting somebody's business in the street but she said you know I used to do seminars and when I would do seminars I would have people I would have to take up a collection to help pay for the room after the seminar was over and now in the last thirty days in the last month this woman has made over $20,000 using the strategies that she's learned for me well that when you can create that kind of transformation for people they will allow you to become their teacher so transformation leads to indoctrination and if you folks there's gonna have to cook I know all of you desire to live an outstanding life I've got news for you cannot leave an outstanding life unless you're willing to stand out you've got to put yourself out there you've got to put yourself out there as a thought leader as a trusted adviser as a guru if you will as a doctrine leader you know you gotta have your doctrine Adam Taylor you've got to have your doc basketball doctrine Geoff Albright you've got to have your big big-ticket doctrine and Bruce McElhaney you've got to have your health and nutrition doctrine you gotta have your doctrine Deborah Smith you've got to have your Christian woman's doctrine that you like people are looking to you for answers for their life and you got to get comfortable with that because the fact is every pretty much everybody on this line has been in this on this planet long enough and had enough life experiences where your your information can create transformation so that people will open up the door and allow you to create for them some indoctrination so um that's the recipe that turned for turning leads recipes for leaves that turn in the sales information to transformation to indoctrination and that leads to compensation so that's that's the that's the last one of the jesse jackson's that i'm doing now okay so next one the practice of a direct reciprocity so we talked about we talked about the practice of the direct response we talked about the practice of the practice of direct response we talked about the recipe for lead the practice of direct reciprocity and now we're going to talk about we didn't talk about reciprocity so let's talk about the practice of direct reciprocity that's what we want to go next the practice of direct lissa prosody what is that well what you've got to do is you've got to grab the attention of your prospect and it is your responsibility to grab the attention of your prospect and you grab the attention of a prospect with a what's what what's known in the marketing world has a headline and a headline is something that creates a word picture and a powerful promise so grab their attention you do it with a headline if you're creating an ad you do it what we call a pattern interrupt and a pattern interrupt is something that just arrests people's attention long enough for them to pay attention to you so you want to grab the attention of your prospect once you grab their attention you want to give massive value to that prospect so you now have their attention you want to give them massive value one of the best ways that I've seen to give people massive value is even on your lead with lead generation site before they opt-in give them give them the opportunity get teach them something really really cool even before you ask them for their name and email address you know I you know I have thought to do I thought wouldn't it be cool to do a reverse lead generation I just thought of this last week and I'm not done it yet cuz I forgot about it until just now so somebody will send me an email reminders but wouldn't it be cool to do reverse lead generation you know how people make you give their name and email address and then you get the free thing what if you had a what if you had a link at your site that says hey I want to teach you something really really cool and most people will make you giving you their name and email address before they'll give you something really really cool but I'm gonna yeah I'm gonna teach you something right now you don't have to pay me for and you don't even have to give me your name and email address for if you decide that you like this thing that I give you and it makes a lot of sense to you and you'd like to learn more from me in the future then we put in your name and email address that way you're not just giving me some fake email address and I don't end up sending you a bunch of emails that you don't want so if it resonates with you hey take it if it doesn't I just thought it would be so cool to do a split test with a squeeze page and what I'm gonna what I'm gonna squeeze pages they squeeze your name and email address I have you in other words they squeeze you until you give them their your name and email address right so it me it would be cool to test a squeeze page and an unscrew space so that's a test that I'm gonna do I in fact a little bit next week just I'm really excited okay so you grab their attention then you give them massive value so how do you give them massive value you teach them something even on your lead generation site before they give you their name and email address the more trust you can create before somebody gives you their name and email address the more likely it is that they're going to give you a good name any longer and then you want to get the prospect in position to become a qualified lead how do you do that well you give them something you give them something a great value and now you're telling them hey give me your name email address I'm gonna send you three more cool things one another way you can do that is you can create what's known as an open loop so for instance let's say you run you say hey in this ad I'm gonna give you the full four mistakes business owners make when advertising and marketing their businesses so let's say I run an ad for mistakes and let's say I don't even say business owners let's say I'm running this ad to doctors for mistakes doctors make when advertising and promoting their practice so and I give them as free there's no opt-in required and I even have to put that in the end you don't have to give me your name and email address to get these four things so they go over to the they click on the link they go to the page I give them the four things by the way if you'd like nine more things mistakes that doctors make then you can give me your name and email address well now I've already created the open loop from the first three things I want to give them the best ones right so now I've given them the first four thing and now in order for them to get the other nine thing they've got to give me their name and email address how cool is that I think that's pretty cool so so you grab their attention you give massive value and then you get the prospect in a position to become a qualified lead and a qualified lead is they've raised their hand and said I want what you have and I am willing to pay for it even though when they first pay for it they're only paying for it with their name and email address okay so now we're going to talk about the practice of direct reciprocity so that's the I'm sorry that's the practice indirect reciprocity now we're gonna talk about the practice of direct removal say the practice of direct removal what does that mean well you're gonna remove them from the competitive selling environment yeah you talked about that a little bit so when somebody opts in they've given you their name and email address now you finally have this person who on the channel they are now on which is it emails from you now on that channel the only person they ever get marketing information from is you that's so exciting it's so exciting because because you only get they only get marketing messages from you on your channel like they're not gonna get an email message for me in your inbox from your email box they're only gonna get one from you and if you say love the content that you've already give it I mean why are you guys here today you're here today because you got an email from me he said what Myron's doing so I want to be on it right so removal from competitive selling environment removal from a list of suspects what does that mean because they opted in they're no longer just a person on Facebook they're no longer just a personal Instagram they're no longer just a person on YouTube were just a person on Google+ they are now a person who is on off the list of suspects and on the list of prospects they are a qualified prospect who's giving you their name and email address and raise their hand as they raise their hand and say I would like to get information from you so much so that I'm willing to give you my name and email address okay so and then you're removing them from the world of skepticism they've given you their name and email address so now you know they are not skeptical so what I'm going to do right now I'm gonna open it up for any questions or comments because this is the end of the psychology of lead generation now we're going to get into the technology of lead generation so if anybody has questions type in your question if you don't have questions type in I don't have a question but don't not of the first things that I'm going to show you about lead generation is I might as well I'm gonna start with the technology first I'm gonna start with this tool that I use called clickfunnels and even can do that if you know how it's a lot there's a lot more work I mean just to install WordPress is a lot more work you know you want to install WordPress on your own server and then you're gonna have to have some kind of lead capsule software some kind of autoresponder some kind you've got a lot more moving pieces the thing I like about clickfunnels is it doesn't matter if I'm building a lead capture page or a sales letter or an automated webinar or a live webinar page it doesn't matter everything that I need for all of my marketing is in one place fine so that's what I like about click funnels over WordPress and I used WordPress for years am i recording this so you can look at it again I absolutely am recording it so you can look at it again Davis Ness yes let's moving parts for sure and if you do it right if you do it right guys if you set it up right it can make you a boatload of money in a very short period of time not I haven't moved everything over to click funnels I a free bible study webinar and i advertise to the people who have liked this page first of all the ads are gonna be really really cheap why because i can do two things one I can post I can put up a post for the webinar or for a conference call put up a post and then in addition to putting up a post I can also I can boost the post and I can run an ad to the page I mean run an ad to the opt-in page so or to the registration date when you do that literally literally we should be able to get enough people out of 29,000 let's say let's say I'm twenty nine thousand let's say we can get 10% of the people or show up for a conference call or to attempt to let's say we can get 10% of people to register and let's say we can get 1% of the people show up for a conference cause 300 people in conference call I have 300 people in a conference call here's what I know if I do a $97 offer and say 20% of those people take advantage of it that's $6,000 with one call imagine going through here guess it's a guestimation now cuz the most we've ever spent in a month might on that page has been maybe 300 bucks so three to four thousand bucks we'll call it three to four thousand bucks we spent on getting those likes and I don't think let's just call it that we're like on the precipice of this page being worth ten thousand dollars a month when we when we get that well we're less than a that we spent driving accident so today I spent $11.48 for Facebook Likes in engagements yesterday I spent $13 the day before that I spent nine the day before that I spent four and I've added some ads over the last couple of days so what you can see if you look right here for this this ad I'm I'm when I first started the ad it was costing me 25 cents per like right now my likes are costing me 18 cents apiece they go down over the time that you have them because Facebook is getting there how the rhythm figured out I'm spending $10 on this particular ad it is only advertising to women age 35 to 44 and I'm advertising specifically for likes so if I see I want to click on that I wanna click that's the performance so I got from that ad today little over 60 likes I got sixty one likes today I want to look at demographics okay the reach is 28 reaches twenty eight hundred twenty eight hundred and sixty eight that's how many people showing up in front of and page likes are oh by the way this is women aged 35 to 44 just on Lowell newsfeed this is not desktop newsfeed this is not desktop right side we do add at least segment the ads by gender age and platform and the reason you do that is
