flooding storm yeah and and they had already had a scene where they all were in like the showers and the bathrooms and playing in water and now they brought all that energy here yeah you know sure they snuck in a few like uh two three like musical mhm segments which we know Indian movies do that a lot too yep yeah the courting song and the all is well and yeah it was fun it was a lot of fun there was a lot of whiplash I kind I don't know for me it was the whip latch was like a feature yeah I get it but I can understand other people not loving it as much but I don't know I like I honestly wouldn't take anything out I just would leave it the same way it was I it didn't make me enjoy it less it was just so shocking yeah had to be like wow they did that no I get what you mean it felt like we got it felt like we got the the climax of the movie three different times like was different elements I'm like this must be the end of the movie and I was like wait how long's it been I know this about a three-hour movie and I ah this must be the contct of the movie so wait yeah I wait we still haven't found the real guy he's still missing we were going to vacuum that or S the the what was it the S Sanctuary sewer what do they call it oh the the sacred sewer sacred sewer yeah we're going to flush that guy's dad down in the sacred sewer then we didn't even have it's yeah and then that guy jumped and I was like oh no he's dead I was like wait this is in the past we can see him in the future he dead yeah that and they knew that you would know that so they give you a second to be like wait what I I feel like that's why they show the the hook on the foot thing I feel like that must have slowed him a little there's no other reason to show that I feel like right I mean there's that and also just to wake him and alert him that's happening I guess but I get what you mean you about the guy getting his fake shaved yeah yeah sure I mean you could have had the other guy just you know like that could have worked too so it's crazy a student attempted to commit suicide in front of him and it didn't change his opinions it didn't make his at all didn't make his da get that letter the other guy that like he told talked to his dad and said hey your dad's your son's not graduating he sucks and then he killed himself like there's like a suicide and attended suicide like in the same here or at least the same class Yeah well yeah like if you're not looking for the truth no amount of evidence will convince you yeah I guess I mean the yeah so maybe the you know having the son I always prefer to essay questions because they gave me room to convince the teacher that I knew what I was talking about a little but essay questions take longer to grade and students have so many kids like you've got to speed up the process somehow yeah that's true and they're open to interpretation too yeah well especially when you have a teacher that was my only saving grace for no sure talk around and them think you it yeah when a teacher has like 30 students in a class or something like that yeah if you have 30 50 students and you have you know eight classes or whatever you're teaching and you're not getting paid to grade sure you're only paid by class the whole system is broken yep and from what I understand like uh grades are important in America but much more important in India yeah sure yeah so they had that is it a is it an engineer or a doctor like before the baby's even born it's not is it a boy or a girl yeah it's what job will it have to signify if it's a boy or a girl yeah just yeah there's already pressure from the get-go I like the uh the father kind of being like uh well one I like the uh the photo thing where he's like no Rancho put this photo in there so if I ever thought about you know attempting anything I would look at this and see like think about your smiles being gone I like oh that's really sweet but then him being like turn this and get a camera you graduate or whatever but like I figure at some point before that moment he probably could have picked up the phone like yeah diploma in hand they can't take it away well he gave it to the other dude right yeah yeah and then they like photoshopped him in into into the class photo is like dead fishe eyes staring straight forward not looking at the camera oh it's funny and one guy lived his whole life for September 5th to be able to be like I beat you he had a goal and he was just working at it and he was ready you know he had a declaration of defeat for this bet well that's what Rancho said right like you shouldn't chase after success you should chase after passion passion and success will follow yeah are you a teacher are you a scientist Calvin was he the IT guy from the office in the office look it up can't help I've seen the office recently like in the past month and a half or two but that him it looks like his face it it very well could be he played sadik in the office I think he only appeared maybe in one episode he shows up at Jim's party that Michael doesn't yeah get invited to is the name sadik two episodes in the office is him oh me gotcha okay gotcha kept seeing him I kept going my the entire movie which is a long movie going like I know that guy from somewhere where's he from he's from one episode of the US office two two episodes it says he's in two episodes oh okay gotta but yeah that's that's him all right that's what IMDb has a man got all righty but some great cinematography very creative framing especially for the dance numbers I love the dance numbers you know one thing I like don't get that type of thing anymore I like that every time we went back to the one like uh Raju yeah his house like it was black and white yeah that was well yeah he described it in the way like yeah it was like a an old black and white like film and they just shot it like that the whole time and took it completely seriously I loved him thinking of his dad on the scooter and it woke him up out of his coma that was so funny guys I like them driving him there around it was almost like a Weekend at Bernie's thing trying to get him on that take him back to the hospital yeah and then he was mad but it was like thank goodness they got him here in time didn't wa for an ambulance no I'm I'm actually I'm glad that we watched a movie like this because I feel like after rrr rrr was so good like how do you top it you know I I kind of like that we went with a comedy more drama you know I mean it's still over the top it's still that style of film making but it's a very different story so it's not like an action movie Over the Top yeah and there's been some time since we watched that too the next one needs to make we make sure it's not that long they're all long though I know well I mean uh before watching the next oh yeah I gotta cuz I just I don't know I have a lot of fun with these between them it's uh similar to you know I've been watching kramas with jansy lately and they just have a different um Cadence Cadence the editing is slightly different I mean it's not super different and still like you know generally is going to go with the beat of your heart that type of thing which is pretty Universal but there's like sound cues that and we like to think oh we don't do that we do that in America they're just slightly different than stuff here you know but the this one has the whistle SL whistle kind of sounds with more Looney Tunes the goofy what was this sure some of it's just like it feels more over the top of like some of the sounds and that kind of stuff is what it feels like but it also probably just stands out to us more cuz we're not as familiar exactly if it wasn't everything it wouldn't stand out yeah maybe there were Indian reviewers being like H it's a little subdued sure but I know this uh this is a very successful film at one point it was the highest grossing Indian movie of all time I think it's been surpassed since then but probably yeah what year did it come out 2009 I hadn't realized it but I have seen the uh the scene where they take the tests late yeah I have seen that scene before really yeah okay cool where they take the test what where they take the tests late and he like hey do you know our names or our test numbers or anything he just mixes them all up and runs out when they hid and then woke up in class yeah that was I like how affectionate they are with each other too yeah you don't really get a whole like at least in American movies men don't tend to be affectionate with each other sure it's one of the first times I've ever saw it was when I watched the L of the Rings you know yeah that's a good point it's good to see that in there too I also don't usually see men stamping each other's butts well I've seen I've seen that a lot of times you got to get them checked where have you been they all said checked that's the stamp the stamp said checked they all didn't get stamped
