Faith, Provision, and Vision Insights

But it hasn't been a struggle. Because the God I serve is a supernatural God. So, let's look at Isaiah chapter 46 and verse 9. Remember the former thing.

For I am God, and there is none else. I am God, and there is none like me, declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done. saying, my counsel shall stand and I will do all my pleasure. So that is God's promise to us that whatever he has given you to do, whatever vision he has dropped in your heart, whatever assignment that he has given you, that his promise is that his counsel shall stand and he will do all his pleasure.

How many of you know that it would bring pleasure to God for you to fulfill your assignment? It would bring pleasure to God for you to accomplish your mandate and see your vision come to pass. That would bring great pleasure to God. Why? Because He's the one that birthed it in you.

He's the one that gave it to you. Can you say amen? Now, let's go to Hebrews chapter two for a moment.

Therefore, we ought to give the more earnest heed to the things which we have heard, lest at any time we should let them slip. They say, well, I'm a minister. I'm a pastor. I'm a preacher. I've never let go of any revelation I've received from God.

I'll be casting out lying devils at the end of the service. We do, from time to time, let things slip. I mean, if you'd be honest and say, yeah, there's been some times I've let some revelations slip and didn't act on them like I should have been doing. I have.

In fact, the Lord has scolded me from time to time when I didn't act on something that He revealed to me. For instance, years ago, 1981, We were having our board of directors meeting. All of our directors had come in from all over the country and we spent the weekend with them and going over our financial statements and what we'd accomplished that year and our vision for the country. coming new year.

And when we were finished with all the business, then we took them all out to eat. And then we all came to our house. And some of them were even spending the night with us. The others were in hotels.

But we were just having a great time of fellowship at our home. And the next morning, I was having to fly to Tulsa because Brother Hagin had invited me to teach in and Rhema that following day. So by the time everybody went home and the others that were staying with us had gone to bed, it was late. In fact, I didn't get in bed until about one o'clock that morning.

Carolyn was already in bed. And when I was organizing everything, that I needed to take to Tulsa the next day. So when I got in bed, the moment I laid my head on the pillow, I heard these words. If Satan can't steal your joy, he can't keep your goods. I said, not now, Lord, I'm tired.

He said, if Satan can't steal your joy, he can't keep your goods. I said, Lord, that's wonderful. I'll study it out on my way to Tulsa.

He said, if Satan can't steal your joy, he can't keep your goods. So I got up. Carolyn said, where are you going? I woke her up.

She said, I got to go to my study. So I went in there and I began to study that. And the next morning I preached it at Rhema for the first time. And then later I put it in a book and that book is going around. around the world has been printed in I don't know how many different languages, reprinted many, many times.

The body of Christ needed that revelation. My point is, I was with Brother Copeland at the East Coast Believers Convention, and I had been in some other meetings before arriving there. And I had gone downtown Fort Worth to a men's shop that I bought suits from.

It's no longer there, but back in those days, it's where I bought all my suits. And a man named John always helped me out. He knew my size.

He knew what I liked. He knew my style. And I'd just call him.

I'd say, John, I need some suits. You know what I like? He already had them, you know.

measured and altered. He picked out the shirts. He picked out the ties. I said, send them to whatever hotel we were staying in, in Charlotte, North Carolina, and make sure they get there before I arrive, because that's what I planned to wear.

Not only that, I was launching my television ministry, and I was recording all those services. So I wanted to look good, okay? New suits. So when I got there... There was a box waiting in the suite there, full of suits.

I opened the box and started hanging them up and steaming them, because that's what I was going to wear all week. Okay. Then the first morning, I'm speaking immediately after Brother Copeland. So I got up that morning, put on one of those suits. They were all too short.

Sleeves were way up here. Pants were way up here. I thought, I can't believe this. So I put that suit away and I got another suit. Every one of them were marked wrong.

They were all too short. That's the only suits I had for that week. I said, Lord, I'm launching my TV ministry. I'm recording for TV. I can't go out there looking like this, looking like Clem Cadiddle Hopper, you know?

I mean... And the more I looked in the mirror, like Jesse says, the hot sauce was coming up, you know. It was about to get my joy.

It was real close, real close. And if it got my joy, as soon as I got home, I was going to get John's joy too. Because he's the one that messed it up. I thought, what am I going to do?

I had one suit. I didn't have a suit. I sent them all back on the airplane home because I knew I was going to have these new suits. All I had was what I wore to Charlotte.

So what am I going to do? And now it's time for me to go. I said, Lord, What am I going to do? He said, don't let it get you, Joy. I said, you're too late.

It's already gone. Joy has left the building. I said, look at me.

I can't go out there looking like this. Seven, eight, 10,000 people and all my suits are too short. He said, compensate.

I said, how? He said, pull them down. So now the crotch is way down here.

This way I'm walking to the convention center. Oh, and then I said, God, I wish I'd have never wrote that book. See what's happening. I'm letting revelation. Flip.

Don't look at me so wholly, you've done the same thing. So here it says that these things that we have heard, and so far I'm talking to you about things you already heard and you already know. But this is not the time to let go of them. You're going to need those basic revelations now, perhaps more than you ever have in your life.

Because this world we live in has gone crazy. And it's going to take the Word of God, revelation knowledge, supernatural power to get us over, praise God. And God has made all that available to us. The message translation says it's crucial.

that we keep a firm grip on what we've heard. It's crucial, particularly in the time in which we live. So we all know that God is faithful.

We all know that God does not allow His Word to return void. And we all know that our foundation for everything we do must be based on the Word of God. So don't let those revelations slip.

Can you say amen? Jeremiah chapter 1 verse 12 says, I will hasten my word to perform it. The Amplified, I'll make every word I give you come true.

I'll make every word that I give you come true. Now, the question that most of us have after we receive our assignment, after we receive a vision from God, is how is God going to make this happen and where's all the money going to come from? Am I talking to anybody in here? How in the world is God going to make this happen?

And where's all the money going to come from? Amen? Now, Jeremiah chapter 17, verse 7 says this, Blessed is the man that trusteth in the Lord, and whose hope the Lord is. Blessed is the man. that trusteth in the Lord and in whom his hope is. Blessed means empowered to prosper.

So here it says that you will be empowered to prosper if your trust is in the Lord and if your hope is in the Lord. Now the Amplified reads this way, and I like this translation even better. Most blessed is the man who relies on the Lord.

Now, blessed is wonderful, but most blessed is better. I like that phrase. Everybody say most blessed. Blessed is great.

But most blessed, I believe, is a higher level. Amen. Blessed.

And most blessed. Well, I believe it's going to take being most blessed to fulfill what God has called us to do in our individual ministries in these last days. Amen.

I'm so glad that you joined us today on Adventures in Faith. My dad, Jerry Savelle, always emphasized the importance of having a God-given vision for your life. A vision from God is not just any plan. It's a divine vision that captures your imagination and inspires you daily.

It often seems impossible to achieve on your own. How do you know if it's a vision from God? Does it seem unattainable without divine intervention?

If it persists in your heart despite challenges, if others don't share your enthusiasm, and if you face resistance and difficulties, you may very well be on the right path. These are the indicators that your vision is from God. It consumes your thinking, grows up. over time and shapes and defines your life.

A true vision from God originates in his mind, not from your own human desires or imitating others. Become a visionary person who sees possibilities that others don't. Let your God-given vision continually inspire and motivate you to pursue it and to challenge you to think even bigger.

Remember, a vision from God will not just inspire you, but it will also push you beyond your comfort zone to achieve the impossible. Stay faithful to that vision and watch how God provides every step of the way. We are on this adventure of faith together, and we want to help you succeed.
