Matthew chapter 14 and I'm going to start reading at verse 25 Matthew chapter Hallelujah 14 I'm going start reading at verse 25 when you have say amen and in the Fourth Watch of the night Jesus went unto them walking on the sea and when the disciples saw him walking on the sea they were troubled saying it's a ghost and they cried out for fear but straightway Jesus spake unto them saying be of good here calm down it's Me Be not Afraid and Peter answered and says Lord if it is you bid me to come out on the water and Jesus said come and when Peter was come down out of the ship he walked on the water to go to Jesus but when he saw the wind boisterous he was afraid and beginning to sink he cried saying Lord save me and immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand and caught him and said unto him oh thou of little faith when did you start doubting and when they were coming to the ship the wind stopped it ceased then they that were in the ship came and worshiped him saying of a truth you are the Son of God and all of God's people said amen I just want to speak just in these few moments I have left to give you a word for the week and the season we're in I want everyone to speak this out of the out of your mouths and say the boat is made for water the boat is made for water so of of course every Sunday when the Lord is giving me a message I really try to pray about not only the message but the timing of the message and which Sunday God wants me to speak a message and um so when I came out in the praise team was talking about faith today this is a message about faith and uh one reason why it's important to preach and us to have this spiritual dialogue about faith is because people losing faith Angela is a sign of the last days you know the Bible says in 1 Timothy chapter 4 then in the last days many shall depart or leave the faith now the ironic thing about this is that it's it's possible to not depart from the church and depart from the faith you know I was talking uh with one of the brothers yesterday I was saying I know preachers who do this but they don't believe in this anymore it's an occupation it's it's a job I know musicians you all know musicians who play in churches and they're really skilled musicians but if you have a dialogue with them they don't they do this but they don't believe in this that now if this is your testimony I want you to say it if not not just be silent and we try to process it but tell somebody I still believe in this what do you believe in I believe in this Bible I believe in the Holy scriptures I believe in Jesus I believe in the working of the Holy Ghost I believe Jesus still heals he still delivers come on somebody say all of that I still believe it is it's possible to do church and not do God for many would depart from the depart from the faith and what happens is it's the small foxes that destroy the vines so so you would think it's the deer that destroy the vine because the deers you know they eat the fruit of the vine you know I uh I planted an apple tree in the back of uh our family home on 4th Avenue and I start seeing the Apple start coming forth and I was really excited and all of a sudden I went back the next day and there were no apples and my grandma said what was you thinking about I said what are you talking about she said you know them deer won't going to let them apples stay on that tree she said as soon as the soon as the uh the the apples begin to come and begin to mature the deer came in the backyard and started to eat the apples but it's okay because them eating the apples didn't destroy the tree you know because those things grow back but it's foxes that nibble at the root hear me and you must be mindful when you start uh dipping into dialogues and YouTube videos and relationships where people drop little small words on you little ideologies that ends up chipping away at your faith because I don't care how long you've been saved there comes a time where all of our faith comes under testing Under Fire and and many of us maybe we're not challenged at the existence of God and those questions but maybe there are times in our lives what comes under heavy scrutiny is God's ability we know God exists and there are some people under the theological perspective that God created created the world and after he created the world he walked off from it and left us to it there some people that says God is too uh magnanimous he's too big he's too huge to be a part of the details of our lives and so the life we live in is totally based upon our reasoning and our decisions he couldn't he couldn't be that intricate in our lives but I need you to look at somebody tell them God is in the details don't you know the Bible says that the hairs on your head are numbered it didn't say he knows how many hairs is on our head it says the hairs on our head are numbered it didn't say he knows how many hairs is on our head because for some of us it would be be kind of easier to count than others I looked this morning I didn't get a chance to have a haircut cuz we was at the camp and I was like oh man I got gray hair I got dark hair I got in between hair I have no hair all of that but it didn't say God knows how much hair is on our head it says that the hairs on our head are numbered what do you mean that means even the hair that fell off on the floor of the barber shop God knows what number that one is and knows the location of that one that mean God is so much in your details if God is so big that he holds the sun close enough to the Earth that we won't freeze but distant enough come on that we won't burn up then what's going on in your world that God can't handle see some of us we're in issues not about uh we question the ability of God and it is not whether he's strong enough to do it and not even the issue is can he do it some of you your faith is out of place is will he do it for me now don't y'all leave me out here on the court by myself has anybody had great faith for other people that they can change and God can deliver them and God can heal them and God can open the door but when it comes to me because God plus them equals success but God plus me some kind of way I bring another thing to the equation and I want somebody in here in this room that you've had some victories and maybe you've had some successes and people may be looking at you thinking you got it like that I need you to just uh come out of the closet and be honest with them and look at them and tell them it's God Noh y'all whispered it tell them tell them for real for real it's God anything I've accomplished anything I've done well at come on tell them it's God you think I got it like that but you don't know all of me you know the part of me that you can handle right now but if you really knew how messed up I was you would realize that it's a miracle that I got the job I got it's a miracle that I got the family that I have it's a miracle that I can come in anybody's church and lift up my hands and give God praise somebody ought to praise God right now because it's God you know who it is you know and so I want to challenge you today to stop living stop living on the dock and put your faith in the water because you can only go so far walking on land there's somebody in this room you have come to the Border you've come to the edge you've come to your own limitation but you realize that although this is my limitation this is not my destination how will I get from here to there I've got to put my my faith in the water what are you saying Bishop Faith becomes my transport I'm not telling you not to be logical but logic has its limitation when you start operating faith faith releases the Supernatural and some of you says you know I keep talking about what God can do and you've had a vision and a dream you didn't been filled with the Holy Ghost and you spoke in tongues and you feel the mighty presence of God and uh all of this stuff the doorway to the Supernatural is Faith and sometime cultures and Nations who have a scarcity of intellectual advancement and technological accomplishments have an ability to be more open and experience more Supernatural things than we do because we're too smart to believe we can explain everything we know how everything works so when we know so much then Faith doesn't become necessary for us when you have all the answers no faith is necessary if you've been here before no faith necessary if you have all the money ready no faith necessary if you've done everything in your life right no faith necessary but when you're looking at a destination and there's a liquid Gap when what you're looking at can't sustain you to get there on your own look at somebody tell them faith is necessary I come to preach to somebody because in in in the season that you're in Hallelujah you need a faith jump glory be to God you need a leap in your spirit a leap of faith I need you to testify to somebody to tell her my faith is taking me somewhere my faith is taking me somewhere Bible says Matthew chapter 14 there's a lot going on people are being killed for the sake of the Gospel Herod is stirring up trouble whole lot going on a lot of people following Jesus they got uh needs they need to be fed whole lot going on whole lot of lot of emotions grief is around you needs are around Jesus this is why some of you every once in a while you got to pull away because when you surround yourself with a lot of needy people they begin to drain everything out of you leaving you with no faith for your own battles oh I'm preaching good right now I'm not telling you not to help people and I'm not telling you to not to be there for people because I think our culture has too much of a gospel of cut off that kind of bothers me me you that are always cutting people off because you that are always talking about cutting people off a lot of times you're the person that needs to be cut [Applause] off anytime you got to keep making an announcement about you cutting people off cuz they not going where you're going and maybe a good thing they're not going where you're going because the rest of us who's making money move I mean God moves I'm not telling you not to be there for people and help people because God does call us to suffer long God calls us to endure hardness God cause us to be to other people what other people have been to us and that means we didn't always get it right the first time but you got to have a revelation you got to get an understanding like Jesus did when he says hold on there's a lot of emotions going on around I need to pull away I need you to tell somebody knowing to pull away tell them pulling away is not permanent but knowing to pull away cuz sometime you have to pull a weight to get back in come on I don't know a whole lot about boxing but I know every once in a while they call them to the corners to get hydrated to have a discussion because sometimes you can get caught up in the fight and you need to get your bearings back Hallelujah I need you to be honest with somebody tell them in this last season I've gotten tired okay let me stop getting y'all to say stuff that may not be your testimony if that's not your testimony don't say that don't don't say that please now come on and but if it's your testimony tell tell them just because I'm tired don't mean I'm going to quit okay don't tell your neighbor come on tell yourself have a conversation with yourself tell them just because I'm tired doesn't mean I'm going to quit and sometime we can't even be honest with church people because church people are so spiritual that they want to rebuke my tiredness don't rebuke my tiredness we all get tired and I'm talking about a tiredness help me Holy Ghost help me some of you Educators in this room I'm talk help me some parents in this room I'm talking about a tiredness that I need more than a nap because some of us we lay down and when we wake up the corners and the edges of the fitted sheet has been removed from the corners of the mattress and you know I didn't get much sleep I need to be able to pull away so I can debrief I can detox because sometime my faith is being choked out by the seaweeds about my faith has been choked out Hallelujah by serpents my faith has been choked out by being entangled I said I was't going to use that word in church but my I've been entangled I've been having some entanglements but the Bible said it before they did it so Jesus Melanie Jesus is saying let let's get away let's pull away he say to them he says y'all go over to the other side I'll meet you there I'll I'll meet you there just go on but we can all ride together no no no I need this ride by myself and this is why this is what I pray for you I pray that God gives you some secure friends oh I'm almost finished I'm talking about some secure friends some healthy relationships that you can respect distance and just because oh my just because I don't answer to your every phone call and respond to every text in 30 seconds you don't take it personal I don't have time for that we grown now you got to have a revelation that that sometimes I want to be by myself and being by myself has nothing to do with you it's not against you it don't mean I've been offended it don't mean you said something wrong I just need a moment moment and sometime your presence is loud don't tell me you going to go with me but I ain't going to say nothing sometime your personality is loud I want to ask you a question to be honest with me can you handle silence I'm talking about riding in the car without the radio being on I'm talking about rolling down the road without can you go eat by yourself without being on face time with somebody else Jesus Is God and he said listen I'm one I'm eard I'm so I'm self-sufficient and even in his Humanity he had to gather back to himself who he was and so okay you good Jesus yeah yeah yeah yeah go go you sure I mean you want one of us to stay back with you I'm good some people are so narcissistic they have to make your own personal moment about [Applause] them I pray I pray that you're married to somebody and before you get married to somebody make sure you don't marry somebody the in their mindset you got to complete them okay all right all right let me go on let me go on compliment me but you ain't going to complete me because that's not fair to you for me to put that on you you got to come to the marriage as one whole person you don't come half oh oh come some some of y'all just got mad some of you got mad did you hear what I said because you like that where you going who you talking to who's in your no the devil is a liar cuz I can do bad by myself and be mad by [Applause] myself all right I'll meet you okay and so they're on the Sea of Galilee now we we call it a sea but it's really a lake lake gesserit it's uh uh to the point even at at its widest point you can see the other side all right it's really a lake although it's a lake because of how it's postured and with the with the mountains around it it's known to have uh some winds that can come through unexpected I mean a storm or rainstorm could just drop up out of nowhere start off real good no wake no waves and all of a sudden the boat is rocking and I'm out here because Jesus sent me here they are on this boat and and all of a sudden Justin Stevens and I was having a conversation about this the other night because this is where this message came from we had a guest Pastor come and preach to us on the island with the men he did a phenomenal job Pastor Troy from East Lake well we kind of had such a good time he kind of stayed late until the sun went down well we're on an island I got to get him back to this car if you ever rode a boat there are no headlights on a boat I'm going somewhere and so then I've got to navigate through water in darkness I can't walk him there because the water is not solid enough to support my footing so I've got to get in faith I got to get in my transport the vessel that is equipped to carry me and the only way I'm being able to navigate is to remember what I knew in the light did you hear what I said the only way I was able to make my way back to the dock was to remember what I knew in the light and every navigation of the boat was uh was careful sure I had some saints was trying to hold up uh lights on their phone it won't working for me in other words someone was trying to give me something artificial artificial illumination that was not sufficient for the journey I was on some of you you need relief so you smoking something you using something artificial you you're trying you're trying to inebriate what you need to be sober so you can navigate through this season you need to remember what you knew before the sun went down you need to remember what you knew because what you knew is what's going to help you for what the seal you're in so I'm navigating they're on the water and all of a sudden oh man I pass my time thank y'all thank y'all for being patient all of a sudden Bible said it's the fourth watch of the night Fourth Watch says so in this time his fourth watches of the night in the Jewish Community 6 to9 is the first watch 9 to 12 is the second watch 12 to 3 is the Third Watch then is what I call the toothache watch 3 to 6 I call it the tooth watch because that's the time of night that anything that's hurting on you I mean it have you ever had a pain at that time of night that could wake you up when you want to sleep and you trying to sleep through it that Fourth Watch and all of a sudden I mean it really came to me the other night because I was like hold on I get it now how the disciples felt because while I'm trying to navigate through the through the lake just like the disciples then they looked up and saw a man walking on the water what what is that you have to realize we already watching making sure we not running up on anything we're already watching making sure we don't hit a fishing boat someone who's sitting and then all of a sudden what if I saw a man walking on the water so you know what they said exactly what we would have said it's a ghost because some of us when God shows up in our Liv we automatically connected to something bad happen it's a life moment but you speaking is death so what happens it's a ghost and then you know what Jesus says it's me cuz see you know Jesus on land but it takes Faith to know Jesus on [Music] water it's me no this is not where I know you at have you ever been so confused because you saw somewhere in a place you don't know them so it took a moment for you to adjust your brain to who they were because you accustomed to seeing them in a certain place I need you to tell your neighbor he's in a different place he's the same God but he's operating in a different realm and you need Faith to see Jesus on water because some of you are mislabeling God moments the Bible said he looked at him Jesus says it's me calm down that's what he said be of good cheer calm down it's me and you know what Peter said if it's if it's you hold on did you not just hear what he said he said it is me but Peter saying Lord before I try to make a move in this I want to make sure it's you if it's you I want to do that and you know what the Lord said come come some of you are missing out on miraculous Supernatural moments CU you trying to stay in your head get out of your head and get into your faith oh God some of you you're so you're such an over thinker that you're thinking your way out of a God moment when God said come make a move on it when there's a plan in front of you you know it's God and he's affirmed it affirmed it with who with himself he said it's me Lord is it you it's me that's that's all the witness you need because if you keep on waiting and you got to talk to 50 people before you do it then you're going to miss a moment you going to miss a moment so he said so you know what so you know what Peter did he he walked on the water thank you clap your hands and give God praise hold up hold up I know what you're saying Peter sank Peter walked no no you know you remember he start singing and Jesus had to save him you know why Jesus had to save him because he walked he could only sink because he got out of the boat and you sitting in the boat critiquing people who's walking you sitting there in your boat in your comfort Place discussing and critiquing and analyzing people who are trying I need you to tell your neighbor you can talk about my singing but at least I walked I need to know do I got any water walkers in here do I got anybody in here this I'm putting my faith in activation Hallelujah because my faith was made for water I was created for something more than what I'm doing I was created more than from the mundane I was created for the supernatural I need somebody to open up your mouth in this room and release a shout of the supernatural release a shout of miraculous hey hey hey hey I need you to look at somebody tell them you were created for more stand on your feet you're created for more you [Music] hit more thinking you doing something tied to the dark bragging about how shiny your faith is woo you need when we we up on the lake sometime we look at boats they got little scratches on them little prop damage on them but at least they've been used see some of you you so shiny your fa so shiny because your faith ain't never been tested your faith so shiny it ain't never been hit it ain't never been bruised the reason why I'm standing is not because I ain't never sank I was going down but he rescued me cuz remember I came out cuz you told me I could come I would have never tried this unless you told me I would have never tried to Pastor a church unless you told me I would have never tried to start a business unless you told me I would have never got married unless you told me now I'm out here on you and my faith was made for it I need you to point the three people tell them your faith was made for this your faith was made for more than a thire your faith was made for a multi-millionaire your faith was made for more than one proper your faith was made for multiple properties your faith was made not just to be an employee your faith was made to be an employer I need to hear the sound of those who are stepping out I Dare You by faith just make a step of faith and said my faith was made for water I'm taking on the ability of my faith where there was a liquid I'm going to be standing I'm getting ready to be transported to another realm I'm getting ready to be transported to a new place if that's where Jesus is that's where I'm going oh if if that's where Jesus is that's where I'm going out of my comfort [Music] zone because if it's comfortable for you it's not working for you [Music] if it's comfortable for you start working for you that's why I tell people when you when you're CH even when you're choosing the church you go to don't choose a church just because it's comfortable for you well I know everybody they are oh then that's no you need to be in an atmosphere that challenges you you need to be in a church that when you don't show up for two weeks somebody looking for you I'm like I wish the people would stay out of my business no you need somebody in your business you need to be in an atmosphere that you need to have friends that challenge you Hallelujah because your faith was made for water you want to talk about and that's what people do they'll talk about your sinking we they won't talk about your walking I'm telling y'all I'm building my faith cuz I'm coming out of this [Music] boat this boat my faith was meant to bring me to the middle of the water to drop me off into a supernatural moment my faith [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music]
