Welcome to the chalkboard teaching for the new biblical year that we are entering into. It is 5785 and this new year is known as Rosh Hashanah. Rosh means head, Shana means year.
so it's literally the head of the year. And this new year begins on the first day of the biblical month of Tishri. This year in 2024, Tishri 1 begins Wednesday night. October 2nd and this is when the civil calendar flips over and this year we move from 5784 into 5785 and this number is based on the creation of the world.
It's like the physical birth of the earth or the age of the earth and we can gain prophetic insight as we look at the numbers because in the Hebrew alphabet every letter is connected with with a number, and not only a number, but a picture and an action. My name is Christine Vallis, and I am blessed to uncover the Lord's prophetic calendar with you. So thank you so much for tuning in, and I pray you receive a fresh revelation of the love of God for you as you watch this teaching. So we are moving along here in the decade of the 80s, and this corresponds to the decade that we are in on the Gregorian calendar. the decade of the 20s.
And we have learned that the number 80 is the letter pay in the Hebrew alphabet. And this is a picture of a mouth and opening. It means to speak, to open, and it has two forms, just like our mouths, right?
Open and closed. And at the beginning of this decade, I sensed the Lord saying that this decade of the 80s was a decade of declaration. And I I actually have a chalkboard teaching on it. This is the prophetic flashcard. You can watch the whole teaching and gain some insight on this decade that we are in.
Just go to my YouTube channel, website, or social media and learn about this decade of the 80s, this decade of declaration that we are currently in. And in this decade of the 80s, we are learning the powerful truths of Matthew 12, 34. Out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks. And of Proverbs 18, 21, death and life are in the power of our tongues.
So this year, as we flip over God's calendar, we are connecting the pay, the 80, the mouth with the number five, which is the letter hay as depicted here. And it is a picture of grace. It is a window.
As shown here on the chalkboard, even a lattice, the breath of God, the wind, the Holy Spirit, the Ruach HaKodesh, to behold or to reveal. So as I was looking at the page, and the hay, I sense the Lord encouraging us to shout grace, grace as we move and abide with him in this new year. So I'm excited. I pray you are too.
And I trust that the Lord will bring fresh revelation to each one of our hearts as we go through this chalkboard teaching. So before we jump into the teaching, I want to let you know of some resources that we have created for this new year, 5785. And the first is a prophetic flash card. It's actually the same chalkboard you see behind me, and it's just a handy resource that you can keep in your Bible as you move through this new year with the Lord.
And on the back, there's all the verses and all the dates that correspond with the new year. this year. We've also created an anointing oil for this new year, 5785. And this year, we got the recipe right from scripture out of Exodus 30, where the Lord gave five ingredients. And so we thought this was the perfect recipe combination for this new year. And lastly, we've also created a spiral bound blank journal as you begin the new year.
And all of these resources are available. available now exclusively on my website christinevalis.com. You can find them there.
And they've all been created with the purpose of just drawing your hearts closer to Jesus as you move with him this year. So let's get into the chalkboard teaching. So this exhortation to shout grace, grace was actually spoken to Zerubbabel by the prophet Zechariah in Zechariah chapter four. And after the Babylonian exile, Zerubbabel... returned as the governor of Judea to rebuild the temple.
And he came across many obstacles, many delays, many mountains. And it was at this moment that the Lord spoke to him here in Zechariah 4, 6, and 7. And he says this, this is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel, not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, says the Lord. Who are you, O great mountain? Before Zerubbabel you shall become a plain, and he shall bring forth the capstone with shouts of grace, grace to it. The Lord encouraged Zerubbabel with these words, and he encourages us now in real time to shout grace, grace, not when all of our problems are fixed or when all of our stuff is solved.
But now in the midst of them. And you know, when we read the passage of Zechariah, it goes on to say that Zerubbabel started the work. He laid the foundation. And by the Spirit of God, he shall bring forth the capstone, which is actually the finishing piece. And to shout, grace, grace to it.
It's as if the Lord is saying, it is done. It is finished. You have all of the resources of heaven behind you.
So shout grace, grace now in the midst over your families, over your body, over your work, over your ministry, over your nation. Shout grace, grace. But the thing is, we can only shout grace, grace with confidence if we know what grace is.
So what is grace? In Hebrew, it's the word hesed. In Greek. the word charis. It is undeserved, unearned favor and blessing as written in Romans 11, 6. It's God's loving kindness and mercy towards us.
And as the Psalms say, it endures forever. It is better than life and it is new every morning. It's the opposite of works and human effort. As Zachariah says, not by might nor by power. And Ephesians 2 says that we are saved by grace through faith, not of ourselves, not by our works.
It's a gift so that no one can boast. And Philippians 4 declares that God's grace is supply. My God shall supply all of your needs according to his riches in Christ Jesus. Under the old covenant, it was all about what you could do.
and living under the demand of the law. But now, under the new covenant of grace, it's all about what Jesus has done. And we're living under his constant supply. And on the cross, when Jesus said, it is finished, the flow of his grace was released. And it's never stopped flowing.
So we can shout, grace, grace. So grace is connected to the number five and it all points to the grace of God and we see it all over the Bible. We see David chose five smooth stones and he knocked down Goliath but it wasn't by David's skill, it was by the grace of God. So we can depend on the grace of God to defeat our enemies.
And did you know that all of the dimensions of the tabernacle, Solomon's temple, and Noah's Ark were all in multiples of five. These divine structures were built upon and by the grace of God. And the Lord has even given the church the five-fold ministry. We have the apostle, the prophet, evangelist, pastor, and teacher, and they all function by the grace of God. And lastly, our own bodies.
The Lord has created us with five senses. We have five fingers on each hand and five five toes on each foot. We have been created to work and to walk by the grace of God.
And that just makes you want to shout grace, grace. The Hebrew letter also means to behold or to reveal. And so this underscores that we need to have a fresh revelation of God's grace in our lives in order to shout it out.
And the Lord, he delights in revealing his true nature and love toward us. And so we have been created to walk by the grace of God. And that just makes you want to shout In fact, we see this highlighted here in Ephesians chapter 1, verses 17 and 18. And this is Paul's prayer for the believers in Ephesus. And it says that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, glory may give you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him, the eyes of your understanding being enlightened.
So scripture actually compares our eyes to windows and the definition of a window is an opening in a wall for the admission of light and air. It contains transparent material such as glass or lattice. And it is capable of being opened and shut.
So the Lord revives us and he illuminates the eyes of our hearts by the wind and light of his spirit, the Ruach HaKodesh. And the Holy Spirit floods the eyes of our heart with light so that we can see, so that we can have an aha moment, so we can realize what we have been given in him. As Ephesians goes on to say, the riches of our glorious inheritance in him. And it's nothing of ourselves, but all by his grace and his unmerited favor over us. And that brings us rest so we can take our seat and sit with him in heavenly places.
So once we see a thing, then we can say a thing and even shout a thing. Just like Paul quoted of David in 2 Corinthians 4.13, he says this, And since we have the same spirit of faith according to what is written, I believe, and therefore I spoke. We believe, therefore we speak.
So faith speaks. We believe, therefore we speak. We believe, therefore we shout. Grace, grace. Now the word tells us that grace can actually be multiplied in our lives and I think that's why he probably exhorts us to shout grace twice because it can be multiplied and it's actually here in 2nd Peter chapter 1 verse 2 where Peter tells us how and it says grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and Jesus our Lord.
So his grace and peace can be multiplied through the knowledge of him. It's there for the taking, but it's not through head knowledge or by doing more. It's actually by seeing more. Seeing more of God and of Jesus.
Because as we perceive of him is how we will receive of him. And Jesus said, if you've seen me, you've seen the Father. So it's through our firsthand relationship with him.
And the more we see him for who he really is, his grace and peace and favor will be multiplied onto us simply by beholding him. Because we become what we behold. And this brings us to our next verse here in John chapter 1, verses 14 through 17. And the word says, and the word became flesh and dwelt among us and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the father, full of grace and truth. And it goes on to say, and of his fullness, we have all received and grace for grace for the law was given through Moses, but grace and truth came through Jesus Christ. So John.
first talks about how he beheld Jesus, right? His glory and his radiance full of grace and truth. So John had a personal revelation of the love and grace of God.
And I believe that's why he calls himself the disciple that Jesus loves. He goes on to say, and of his fullness, we have all received and grace for grace. Now this word for in Greek is the word anti, but in this context, it does not mean against, but rather in place of. So it's like one wave following another or one breath following another.
It's effortless. It's continuous. It's like breathing. It's the hay.
It's the Holy Spirit, the Ruach HaKodesh, supplying us and reviving us. And John says that this is what his grace is like. He is powering all his grace toward us, wave after wave of his grace and favor.
And when one wave finishes, another one is right behind it. The blessings of God overtake us so we can shout, grace, grace. Now John concludes this portion of scripture by saying that the law was given, but grace and truth came through Jesus Christ. So he's making a contrast here. So the law was given, which is kind of impersonal, and we know that the law demands from us.
And on the other hand, grace and truth came. They are one and the same, and they came personally to us. through Jesus and he came to supply us and fulfill the demands of the law that we can never meet so we can shout grace grace. In fact Titus 2 tells us that grace is actually the person of Jesus.
Here Titus 2 11 and 12 reads for the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men teaching us So it's Jesus. His grace saved us. He appeared and he continues to make himself known to us and his grace teaches us. Now we can only give what we have received.
So the more we see and experience God's grace in our lives, the more it will be multiplied onto us and the more we will be able to speak it out, even shout it out. over our lives, our bodies, our families, our work, our nation, our ministries, our towns, and cities, and even over others around us. And it's here in Ephesians 4 29 that the word actually encourages us in this ministry of grace. Ephesians 4 29 says, Let no corrupt word proceed out of your mouth, but what is good for necessary edification that it may impart grace to the hearers.
So it goes back to the key verses of this whole decade, right? Out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks and how death and life are in the power of our tongues. So our words of edification not only builds up others, but it imparts grace to them.
And isn't this how Jesus speaks to us? He says, love one another as I have loved you and speak to one another as I have spoken to you. What did Jesus say to the woman caught in adultery? He asked her, where are your accusers? And there were none.
And he said, neither do I condemn you. His words imparted grace to her with the gift of no condemnation first. And then his grace. empowered her to go and sin no more. Sin no longer had dominion over her because she was under grace and she went back to her hometown and she told everyone about Jesus basically shouting grace grace.
So let's be encouraged by this story to do the same and to see and be reminded of the power of the grace of God in our lives. Now, lastly, here in the decade of pay the mouth, the Lord has been reminding us year after year of the importance of the baptism of the Holy Spirit. And I believe that he is underscoring this here in 5785, because when you take the letter pay and put it next to the letter hay, it actually spells the word mouth in Hebrew. So I sense the Lord saying, you speak. by the Spirit.
You pray by the Spirit. So we can pray and prophesy and speak by the Spirit of God. He says, open your mouth and I will fill it.
So let's look at the last two scriptures here in the chalkboard, here in each corner, and they highlight this baptism of the Holy Spirit. The first one here in Acts chapter 2, we see the breath of God, the Rahakodesh, rushing in. utterance so the ruach hakodesh filled the whole house and all those in the house and they began to speak in tongues as the spirit hey gave them the utterance the pay and Later on in Acts 4, it goes on to say that great grace and great power came upon them.
So if you are a believer and you would like to have this great grace and great power released upon you, you can receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit simply by asking Jesus. And he will not withhold any good thing from you. In fact, he is eager. to give you this gift. So it is not by might, it is not by power, but by my spirit, says the Lord.
So again, just open your mouth and he will cause the utterance. Now there are so many benefits of praying in tongues, and I'm just going to highlight a few. First, it prays the perfect will of God. Then it keeps us in the love of God.
It quenches the fiery darts of the enemy. And in 1 Corinthians 14, 4. it tells us that it edifies us. It says here, he who speaks in a tongue edifies himself.
And so we just heard in Ephesians chapter 4 that words that edify impart grace. So when we pray in the spirit, we edify ourselves and we also impart grace to ourselves. We impart the gift of no condemnation. gift of righteousness, wave after wave of his supply and undeserved favor and rest. They all flow to us as we flow in our heavenly language.
And that just makes me want to shout grace, grace. So in closing, now I can see why Hebrews 13 9 says that it is good and beautiful that the heart be established and firm in grace. So thank you.
Thank you, Lord. Thank you, Lord, for your great love for us. Lord, for your revelation of grace that you long to give us, that you delight in revealing to us for the gift of Jesus to us. Lord, may your grace and favor and peace be multiplied as we simply behold you.
And thank you, Lord, that your grace will flow effortlessly as we rest in your favor and great love. love for us. So thank you for tuning in. I pray this teaching was a blessing to you. Happy 5785 Shana Tova in Yeshua Jesus.
And let's go in shouting grace, grace.
