[Music] Allah alhamdulillah alhamdulillah what blessed Gathering to come together to remember the Beloved sallallahu aliam the sahabah were sitting once and talking about the different prophets ibraim was and Isa was M was Kim Isa was R Allah and the prophet heard them and he said that he wasib Allah but he was also and he was also Allah he had all of the qualities of all of uh the prophets were all drawing from his light we we're so fortunate to be in his umah and these are hard times undeniably and they have been for quite some time and it's you know if we had to have one diagnosis it's really the sins of our community the umah uh we're a sick umah we're not well we haven't been well for a long time and and like the body uh as you get older uh you get sicker and so when they were young when the um was young it was full of health and vigor but the prophet told us that towards these latter days we would be uh weak he said we would be like froth many many things he told us about these times uh he told us that the other nations would come and eat from you like they ate from a plate of food it's amazing image such an image that even during the colonial grab for the Muslim land some of the European cartoonists actually showed people around turkey and they made turkey like a turkey and all the European powers were about to devour they didn't know the Hadith but the image was there they so the prophet s wasam what he saw is amazing and he's it's Grievous you know he has for for uh the conditions of the um and in in a a sound narration that IM has a nice commentary on he said that the prophet has shown the actions of his um there's a about whether it's all every individual or whether it's uh the general condition of the umah but many of them say he sees the conditions of the people um individually also and people could say how's that possible on human being we have supercomputers now that are monitoring all of us they they monitor our phone conversations there's apparently some giant Mainframe in New Zealand so this is a machine made by man and the r of the Prophet s made by the creator of man can't make his uh super computer uh ability to uh see people's actions the prophet Sall alaihi was is not God and we don't do we don't make the mistakes of Christians he said don't make don't praise me like the Christians Praise Jesus don't go to an extreme the prophets uh all warned their people of this and our community has never done that they've never done that it's amazing one of the most I think one of the greatest miracles of uh of the Prophet s wasallam is that there's actually a community of people that split from the Muslims that worship Ali because there's nobody that worship the prophet because the prophet made a Dua don't make me an idol that's worshiped so there's people that worship Ali but they don't worship the prophet if you don't see them miracle in that because Ali is a drop from the ocean of the prophet and he's a great drop one of the greatest but but he's a drop from the ocean of the messenger of Allah s Al wasam so uh what can we say about the prophet Sall Ali wasallam we we can say that he's the best of creation s ali uh who was given hikma the prophet sallallahu alai wasam was close to him since the time he was a child he took him in he's taking care of him he saw the prophet he knew the prophet intimately and so one day a Jewish man came to Abu Bakr and he said I heard in your book that Allah says surely you're on this this vast ethos this vast ethical condition he said describe his character what was he like and Abu Bakr being Abu Bakr he said go ask Omar we have very few hadiths from Abu Bakr it's a great loss but Abu Bakr was who he was you know he he he had a great Mak but uh this this was Abu Bakr he said go ask Omar so the Jew went to Omar and he said I read in the Quran and Omar being from the same madrasa as Abu Bakr he said go askman and so he went to being from the same madasa as those two he said go ask Ali so he went to Ali and Ali said to this Jewish man describe the blessings of this world he said the blessings of this world are many and I can't enumerate them and he said Allah says in the Quran that the of this is that the the the Joy or pleasures of this world are very few and he described the prophets if you are can't describe what is few how can I describe what is vast but the best answer to that question was given by his beloved wife his was the Quran the prophet was the Quran he was the Quran walking if you want to know the prophet read the Quran the Quran says speak well to people the prophet never spoke other than well to people when people were were rude to him some of the sahabah got upset the prophet would always calm them down and he would speak well when AA heard one of the Jews sayum which means death be upon you she said and she gave it back to him and more and the the prophet Sall alaihi wasallam told her calm down didn't you hear me I said that's all you need to do they said he would they they tried to call him by a ridiculing name cuz his name was Muhammad and he said when he heard that this in the sah collection mentions when he heard it he said Subhan Allah is isn't it wonders how their tongues have been diverted from my name they're calling somebody named and I'm Muhammad they're talking about somebody named M and I'm Muhammad s Ali wasallam he in other words he didn't give it reality he just didn't nothing could phas him he was in the hub he was always present with his Lord he was always there and that's why the closer you get to the prophet Sall alaihi wasam the closer you get to that Center of being which is unflappable it's something that can never upset you no matter what it is when he was in the cave imagine this first of all a spider spins its web miraculously around the cave when these trackers and these were the best trackers the Arabs had and the Arabs had they had these these Sciences of tracking they knew how to track so they got to the cave they tracked him to the cave but then he saw the spiderweb there was a dove with the overhead and they were saying but he looked in the cave and Abu Bakr was he was very nervous and the prophet just looked at him and then he pointed to the end of the cave and Abu Bakr saw the shores of jeda this is like a wormhole it's amazing he never had fear when Abu Bakr the prophet s they're riding the two of them fleeing uh from Mecca to Medina Malik he's one of their great trackers he's right behind them Abu Bakr keeps looking he's very nervous he looked at the prophet he was reciting the Quran don't don't don't grieve don't worry Allah is with us he had absolute he completely trusted Allah when the man who was trying to kill him found him sleeping under a tree he picked up the the the sword and he said who's going to defend you now and the prophet said Allah the man dropped The Sword and the prophet picked him up The Sword and then he asked him and he said you're you're a noble man he's he wanted his Helm and the prophet did this was our prophet he had no fear no matter how bad it got he did not have fear and this is what we have to remember in these times the prophet knew he wasn't of this world he's not a duni person he was not a worldling he was of the other world Christ said this my kingdom is not of this world the prophet Sall alaihi was is from the same prophetic tradition this is not the kingdom of the Prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam this is dun and dun is hardship nobody had a more difficult time than the prophets the prophet sallallah Alam said the most the people that have the most difficult time in this dun are the prophets and then those close to them our Prophet Sall alaihi wasallam buried all of his children except for Fatima who amongst us has had to bury all of their children he buried all of his children the prophet Sall alaihi wasallam lost all everything in in in they were eating the leaves off trees the best of Creation The Best of creation they were eating taking the leaves and and and basically grinding them down and they they were eating leaves on trees during during the the uh the in Mecca the prophet for the first five years in Medina people don't realize he made hij but the first five years they didn't even feel safe in Medina they were constantly having difficulties in the Quran they were always feeling unsafe in the fifth year all of the Arabs came 30,000 the prophet sallallah alaihi wasam Medina was between two they call laain in the m is called labain you know lava is lava tracks lava is in Arabic laa is lava right VA and ba are from the same they're labul so Allah I must have come from the Arabs laa so but he had these two lava tracks and they they knew they were coming cuz they had the prophet had spies he had people out they knew 30,000 Arabs they came for genocide to eliminate this community to finish it this was their plan so this was a matter of life and death the prophet was talking about his strategy Salman said in Persia we build trenches you know when the prophet s and this is one of the most amazing things about our Prophet this is a man who had from Allah subhah wa ta'ala And yet when he was discussing ing things with his companions because he was not he he wasn't somebody that just talked he listened he would elicit from his companions he wanted to hear from them he wanted to see what they thought so if he gave an opinion they would say is this Revelation or is this strategy he said this is strategy they said well what about this and they would give their opinions and if it was a better opinion as far as he was concerned then he would take it so Salman said the trench abdah showed that this was a engineering Miracle because they built this trench in a very short period of time and it was between the two lava tracks and and so they couldn't people don't realize because when you go to Medina now you can't understand the trench cuz the lava tracks are on you can't walk on them if you go outside of Medina you'll find the lava tracks you can't walk on them they're sharp and they can't cross them with they're very difficult to cross just with with h shoes and and impossible with animals so they were in the trench and thef were in the trench and the prophet sallai wasam he saw these strikes when when when when when they hit the rock because Medina has a lot of rock he saw this strike and he saw he saw the the Palaces of Syria and then he saw another strike he saw the Palaces of Persia this is like what he said to Saka he said when soraka's uh horse went into the sand and then he realized something unusual and Supernatural was happening he he asked for a man the prophet gave him a man these Arabs the think about the Arabs and this is what some people don't understand today because you know you go to the modern Arab world it's very different but the the Jah Arabs were people of their word if they gave their word they didn't break their word and so the prophet gave him Aman he asked him what did they promise you he said 100 camels 100 camels and he said what do you think about wearing the bracelets of kisra one day s this is a bedan man he can't imagine that in the time of Omar when they brought the the the bracelets of KRA Saka Omar actually put them on Saka so we we can't imagine this but thef are in there and they're saying he's talking about the the Palaces of Persia and Syria we can't even go relieve ourselves because they were stuck in the trench and so many Muslims today are stuck in the trench they can't see where this is all headed they've lost sight you know they say the Arabs say the donkey is not honored because the donkey looks at its feet but the camel is honored in their culture because the camel looks at the Horizon it doesn't look at its feet it looks at the Horizon the afak that's our prophet he was a visionary he dreamed with his eyes wide open and he realized those dreams he saw something other people couldn't see and that's the Visionary and he was the greatest of Visionaries he saw a day when a woman could ride from Syria to Yemen and fear nothing but the wolves on the path and that day came and we should make that day again because you look at the lawlessness on our planet the sexual trafficking all of these things that he came to elevate people above to bring them back to their nature to not let the guest take over the host because we're benu Adam but we have enemies we have the enemy of Shan people can say whatever they want they don't believe in El we see the the effects of el all over if you can't see that you're blind and many people are blind they can't see they couldn't see the prophet they thought he was Yim Ben has the orphan of Beni hash they used to call you know from from these are the things they said about him he didn't care he had his blinders on he didn't listen to what others said this is our Prophet sallallah Ali wasallam Allah describes him as these are attributes of God that he describes our Prophet with because the in our tradition there's and then there only Allah has them but there's other that are shared with human beings like somebody is your provider right so the prophet was and he was compassionate he was merciful with his community he cared about people he didn't just care about the Muslims he cared about humanity and this is where the Muslims have lost many Muslims have lost the plot you were the best people brought forth for Humanity not for yourselves and what gives you that quality you enjoying what's right and you forbid what's wrong you enjoy virtue you forbid Vice and you believe in God it's not secular values that you're elevating there are values that are grounded in reality because without reality those values have no grounding they're just opinions so the prophet s he came to elevate our species to bring them back to their lord at a time when the Jews and the Christians went into 72 and 73 sect when when when when all of the idol worship the Quran says travel in the land you'll see most people were idolators how did how did the Quran know that in 7th Century Arabia we go to South America we go to Mexico we go in fact the the Native Americans here are one of the rare Aboriginal peoples that were unarian they had a better understanding of God than the Christians that came to try to convert them W they did if you study the Plain Indians in particular they had a better understanding of God they didn't have Idols they didn't not they they had no Idols so the prophet sallallah alaihi wasallam that's this is his mission and then he left it to us he left it to us tell people about this in his for the theam he said we have a duty to Proclaim his praise to the world Muslims to tell look how they you know one of the Hallmarks of the time we're living is identity theft our prophet is a victim of identity theft and and unfortunately some of the Muslims themselves have stolen his identity they've made him something that he isn't and then the the the the the people there's there's three types of people here that that that you know what they call islamophobes or whatever you I'm I'm just anti-muslim you know I don't phobia is a protic word for me but but uh you know cuz there are some valid fears for fearing some of the Muslims these days unfortunately so it's not irrational I'm afraid of some of the Muslims but but you have three you have three type you have one group that knows who the prophet is and they're just evil they know some from from our Brethren from other abrahamic Faith they know the Catholics know who he is because they borrowed heavily from our religion the their their their their theology is St Thomas aquinus you know I there's a whole book written on this now you know it's well known I mean he heavily borrowed from the Mite theology he he AB says theat and the that there there's no that's the same it's just from the that he says that the essence the attributes are part are the essence of God the doctrine where did he get it from read his sources he doesn't shy away from quoting them he quotes them so they know those people are just evil they're evil they know him like they know their children they know there are there are just rabbis even on YouTube that admit that the prophet Sall alaihi wasam is a providential force they admit that the Islam is closer to us than Christianity there are ones but then there's other ones they just tell lies they just tell lies flat out lies because the great rabbis of their Middle Ages alii is amazing what he says and that's why in our tradition it says you can't say he's it's not enough to say he's because some of the Jews actually said that that he's the prophet for the Gentiles he's not for us he's for the Gentiles so they actually knew he was a prophet and we have this wonderful Theologian from Villanova who uh Anna Morland who wrote a book called Muhammad reconsidered she's a Christian Theologian who's who would had to teach a class on Islam and she had a a her own crisis just studying she said this life sounds like the life of a prophet and so she wrote a book we need to reconsider who this man was these are people that are honest and fair and then there's people that are just completely Hoodwinked they really don't know and those are the people that that we should be communicating to letting them know who we are letting them know we're victims identity theft because they understand that so A few things about the prophet that really bothers them and and this is something wonderful that the great English convert to Islam Muhammad marmaduk P William pikal uh amazing man you he was a he was a best-selling author in England when he converted to Islam so his book sales bottomed out it's very interesting the prophet said a man came to him and he said he said like then get ready for poverty he said I love you he said it three times and the prophet said get ready he said prepare for poverty a tfaf tfaf is what the Arabs put on the horse to protect it from the spears they called a Bing or or or a or a a coupler Bing it's called on the horse so he said prepare in other words tribulation is going to come to you because that's the nature of it so you either get it in this world or the next world but tribulation is coming it's either in this world or it's in the next world it's better in this world you know the people that sign up for his program he has a great 401k plan it's all no seriously they there's people that sign you know I asked my father do you think they sign on the dotted line he said no it's a long series of negotiations right but there's people that sign up with El seriously there are people that sign there was a document done where they put a ad in the paper for people that wanted to sell their soul to the devil there a documentary a full documentary and they got people that came and and they literally signed and they went through they took them to these Satanic rituals to sell their soul and they were totally ready and one of them just said you know I I've been trying to break into you want to be a rock star and he said I've been trying to I'm I'm I'm 35 my time's almost ending you know I willing to sell my soul so don't think people won't sell their soul but El's his afterlife plan is terrible so so our Dean is a Dean they are wealthy Muslims there but I'll tell you one of the things that I've noted in in knowing a lot of wealthy Muslims they have Great Tribulation people of wealth have Great Tribulation you know this kind of marxist view that oh their lives are all cushy it's like uh it's like rulers people think rulers it's all perks rul they don't sleep KFI never slept in the same place twice every night he's worried about a coup you know they they take pills to get up they take pills to go to sleep these are real headaches I mean I run a small College this a very small College I run a small College it's problems all the time it's problem the teacher has problems students have problems staff has problems budget problems there problems but Subhan Allah to run a whole country wow that's not something that you should wish for and that's why the prophet said we don't give governance to anybody who wants it why because it means he doesn't understand what it is that's why and we don't give it to one who covets it once he gets it this is the hikma of the Prophet now just a few things about our Prophet first of all there is no Prophet that did what our Prophet did none of them they're all great and the prophet said not for us not to even though he's but he told us don't don't go to the Jews our Prophet is better than your Prophet Moses was a great prophet one of the greatest the five Major Prophets but none of them Moses never led a state people see the Propet in Mecca and they say m maduk pcov says the sentimentalist you know somebody who's sentimental shallow feelings he says oh he was like Jesus in Mecca but then in Medina he changes his personality changed he didn't change nothing changed about him he's the same Prophet he's the same caring gentle human being but now he's the head of a state it's a different set of circumstances he has different considerations heads of state have to assassinate this is part of being a head of state you don't think the Americans don't assassinate there's no country that is in power that doesn't uh use assassination this is a head of state he ran courts he led armies he was a general and he wasn't like today's generals that that are in Nevada with uh Apple computers or whatever they use you know dictating what the Drone Strike should do no he was there on the battlefield leading the battle he was the bravest of men sallu wasallam in theah there was a massive uh boom in Medina and the prophet s alaihi wasallam the sah went out immediately after hearing this because they thought there was some attack on the city and the prophet was coming back with the horse of Abu and they said he was in other words it was an unsaddled he was riding an unsaddled horse cuz he didn't have time to put on the saddle and anybody who's ridden horse's be back knows how difficult it is and he was on his way back with his sword around his neck and he said don't be afraid don't be afraid and then he said to Abu because he took his horse horse is faster than camel he took his horse and he said this is a ocean this horse you know there was a good horse but that was his bravery he was the first out this is our prophet he did everything he did everything he wrote a constitution so he was a he was a constitutional jurist he put down the laws of inheritance he put down the civil and Penal code of a nation that did not have a Civic or Penal Code before that he United tribes that anybody who knew the Arabs knew the impossibility of uniting these tribes and yet he brought them together he honored the ban these rough tough people all of these things he treated women better than anybody he said the best of you are the best to your women folk and I'm the best of you to women folk this is our Prophet Sall alaihi wasam just amazing so I want to say to you one of the great peoples of our and all the Muslims have greatness there's no culture that doesn't have Islam did not make something great about them you can look in the past look at you know I'm only in the last you know five or six years I really got attracted to India and and and the Indian culture Muslim culture of India and read the history and studied it and was just so amazed at the the the Indian culture it's just an incredible culture of diversity of intelligence the people that gave the world mathematics the people that gave so many gifts to uh our civil ation and one of the tragedies of Islam of the of the Muslims today is they don't recognize even the pre Islamic civilizations anybody who reads early Muslim literature and I'm talking about up to about 6 700 years ago you'll be you'll Marvel at the number of Hindu sages that are quoted by Muslims Muslims had no problem taking wisdom wherever it was they took it in beg in it's one of the wisdoms from a pre-islamic Persian king who asked a wise man of Persia I want you to give me a word that when I'm at the heights of the Duna it will remind me and when I'm at the bottom I want the same thing so he went and spent time and then he came back with a ring and on it it said in this twoo shall pass so when you're at the height just remember this two Shall Pass when you're at the bottom this two shall pass this is Dink it's two days it's just two days one day you're up the next day you're down it's a half inch of water and you think you're going to drown as John Pine said so so look at look at this culture one of the most beautiful cultures and and I fell in love with it 40 years ago because the first Muslim Village Muslim country I went to was Morocco and I really I fell in love with the culture I fell in love with the people um I spent one month with um amazi people up in the Atlas Mountains CD just such beautiful uh people and it's all from the prophet but they they they every year in August they would go they they're originally bedan so they would go up to this Valley and they would put tents up they had two tents one for and the other for and they kept it going 247 with a and then they would only break to eat and so we went up there was a group of Muslims from England and the US and I was with them and one of the most powerful lessons that I ever got in my life was from these people so there were these two women with us in the group and we had um two cars and so they made Amir of each car and so these two women were at loggerheads the whole time they really just didn't get you have this problem with people you just don't get along with people sometimes and so they actually got into a fight and so the Amir who was with us he said no no let them they need to get this out of their system that's what he said so they're letting these two women fight one of these man saw this happening he ran and he broke it up he said you know and he he pulled them apart and then they went and told CI so he got all of us together and he gave us a Dar about don't let Muslims fight that's from the prophet Sall alai because he said that is the highest thing if you really want to to know the essence of this thing it's rectifying between people and look at our culture when a fight breaks out everybody starts Shing fight fight and they surround it and they watch people fight like animals this is our culture but this is not a prophetic culture the prophetic culture breaks these illnesses and that's why our Prophet everything he did was medicinal and that's why when you have this uswa this example we have to take it and we have to practice it and we have to preach it and we have to teach it and we have to remind our umah ourselves our umah and then the world because the world looks at Muslims now what do we have to offer somebody that doesn't have anything can't give anything but we have something we're just holding on to it y man said towards the latter days the Muslims would be like a big rock in the river it wouldn't let people drink from it and it wouldn't drink from it that's what he said like a they it won't drink from it and they they won't let others drink so this is the of this was one of the most important books in the history of Islam it was written by a great andan North African Moroccan scholar they said if it wasn't for the you wouldn't have known the prophet Salli was I want you to just think about this this is a handwritten this is a faximile but it's handwritten gold ink embroidery anytime the prophet's name is mentioned gold ink gold ink gold ink there were so many copies when I first uh went to shop for handwritten manuscripts manuscripts in Morocco there were so many copies of this because so many Moroccans they used to carry this book they would read this book with the Quran in their K they would have this K and they would carry this the and the Quran When anybody got sick they read this book book with this is an amazing book it's a beautiful book it's one of the most beautiful things that anybody's ever written and it will tell you who your Prophet is when you read this book if you're not in love right now you will fall in love with this man because everything about this man is beautiful everything about this man is amazing there's nobody like him in the history of are species and people can't see it because they're blinded many Muslims are blinded they can't see who he is but just to give you a little example of who he was I just there's so many things that we could say but this is a beautiful testimony and I can't do a better job than just to let you know but this was written by one of our great Scholars it's a very short uh book it was written in the 8th Century by shamsudin he was known as and he said about the prophet Sall Ali his his character was the Quran he would get angry for the Quran in other words the things that the Quran warned us about and he would be pleased with the Quran he would never take Vengeance for his own self nor would he get angry for his own self he never got angry for himself only if the sanctities of Allah were in any way sailed that's the only time he would get upset he got upset for Allah but he would never he he would never allow that uh the of anybody to to rile him he was the bravest of men he was the most generous of men he was the most giving of men he never they said if you did not have in the he never would have used the word he always said one time somebody asked him for some a bed one kept asking and he said I'll take a loan and Omar said and the prophet looked at Omar and he's teaching Omar because Omar has a very high makam and he frowned at Omar he looked at Omar and he let him know that no and then one of the ansar said just give out and don't be worried and he's smiled and he said like this I was commanded so he never said no to anybody he would not sleep with anything in his house he would always give out from charity he never this is absolute trust in Allah it's a high it's not for everybody the prophet also taught us you know to save to even food the prophet you know the Arabs had a lot of famine so he would put food for a year but it would always be exhausted because he would give it out to poor [Music] people he would only take from what Allah had given him except just enough for his family and he said anyone who gets up and is safe in his person he in his property he's safe in his person he's got good health and he has enough for that day just that day it's as if he has the whole world and everything in it that's our Prophet Sall wasallam he said Don't expect to see the end of the day every day should be the last day as far as you're concerned and then he he mentioned the things so I won't mention those they were mentioned in that beautiful Hadith in the sh but then he says he was the most chaste of men and he was the most generous to his companions he would never outstretch his feet in the presence of his companions in other words he would always respect them with the Arabs it's a it was always considered to put your souls of your feet to face somebody was the Arabs didn't do that in fact there's a famous story of ab when a man was asking him really stupid questions and he said what time is he said it's time for Abu hanifah to stretch his legs but he never did that sallu Al wasallam and he would always give them room if there was no room I was once with a moritan sheh really great who died the son of Muhammad and we were going to the Masjid when I was living in Medina I was a young man studying there and and we came into the Masid I'll never forget this he he came up and and and he asked this man you know like let he said yeah he said the place is he said he said that that that that constriction is in your own heart and we just went somewhere else but he missed opportunity to sit next to a great scholar he was a of Quran he said it's not in the space there's always room there's always room this is very important because the prophet s recognized manazel everybody is equal in their Humanity everybody is equal in their spiritual possibility for salvation but people are different in their contribution to a culture to a civilization to a village to a family they're different and that's why said the value of a man is in his what he does well so he would always and he said I was commanded to do that he didn't treat Scholars the same way he treated other people this this was our Prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam whoever saw him suddenly was was always taken aback because he had a habba but if he sat with them they would fall in love and there are many people who came and they said he was the most odious person to them because of what they'd heard all the li like poor poor people here many people hate the prophet because they don't know they heard lies about him they heard lies really terrible lies too and and so so once they got to know him they they would love him sopia the Jewish uh she was the wife of one of the notables when when happened she was taken captive the prophet sat with her for two hours explaining why he fought her family and she said he was the most hated person to me and after those two hours there was nobody in this world more beloved to me and and one day she came to him complaining about how the women called her a yehudia he said go back tell them my father's Aaron my uncle's Moses and my husband's Muhammad nothing to be ashamed of something to be proud of one of my uh mortanian teachers came here and we visited this place in New Mexico and there was a Jewish man who had converted to Islam and he treated him so well I was really amazed he just treated him so well and one day I just asked him he said you're really taken to Mustafa he said that's what he told me he said he's a I said how how do you know he said he said this so you have to to consider them will it's very hard for that Community they were given so much Allah gave them so much he Allah gave them continual prophets what he gave us was continual see our are like the prophets of B is and those of us who've studied with them the real not the likes of you know we're like the real if you study with anybody who met him you know you sit with these people and you know you know that these people they have miraculous lives the amount of they can do the the fact that they never speak ill of people just that if you meet anybody that never speaks ill of people assume they're a will of Allah because it's a hard thing to do it's just easy to do it ahed said the most dangerous thing you can ask anybody is how so and so cuz he said it opens the door of backbiting and he said that IM no called something like the of somebody who has a little bit of learning ah M poor man Allah may Allah guide him you know he pretends like to have like compassion for him he always accepted the excuse of somebody who gave him an excuse even the people that lied to him he would always accept it you know when children under seven you should never assume they're lying they just live in a a magical world where you say who broke the vase I don't know that's a possibility in a a 5-year-old's mind right they just they're not in the age of Tam so you have to forgive them but as as you get older you know people learn how to lie but your children I would never if my child told me something I would you know sometime my wife would say he's not telling the truth I said no it's impossible he would never lie to us were his parents you know I just always that I wanted them to understand that I couldn't believe they would lie and that's the way the prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam was he just didn't he gave people H even though he knew what they were up to but he would always do that he would never let anybody walk behind him he would Subhan Allah and he used to say let the Angels walk behind me he wouldn't let them walk behind him one man there was a servant who he asked him to get up on his camel so he could ride with him and he he was too you know he just couldn't do it and so the prophet said you go ahead you go ahead to where you're going don't go behind me so he wouldn't even go ahead of him he would never walk uh faster if an old person was walking he would never go ahead of them he would slow down cuz it old people makes them feel old when somebody just briskly walks by them and on and on and on there's so many that you you can go on and and not end but I will end because all things must come to an end and and we could never really fulfill the the the Praises of the Prophet s but I want to end with I think one of the most powerful proofs of who he was and and there's a couple of things that really uh recently came to me um one of them I I met a South Asian man who was I think probably having some doubts about just religion and many people are and and we have to have compassion for these people because when you look at the world as it is it's very difficult to see we're we're in the and and there's a lot of people that can't see the the Palaces of Syria and the Palaces of Persia they just stuck in the kandak the prophet s alai wasam the Quran mentions only four chapters have uh ethnic components in in in the Quran chapter 17 is called the chapter of Ben is and this is a very important human Community the influence that they have is extraordinary and and all of the horrors that we've been witnessing in in in Palestine uh being done to these poor people that really have they have no army they have no air Force they have no defense they're being bombed uh relentlessly uh being humanitarian Aid being withheld I mean these Fanatics going and even destroying food and things that were supposed to go to these people it's just it's beyond belief to see this it's it's and and I know it's so painful for people the Jewish Community historically is a community that has held to a book the Torah and when they broke from that Torah many many problems came with that break and then attempt to restore that Torah brought all of these heresies into their own teaching like uh the heresies of Rabbi c as opposed to the more Orthodox position of Rabbi Tito bom who still these Orthodox Jews follow but the Jewish Community is a community that has immense education and when you look at their positions in this country if you look at the nobble prize the contributions all these things this is something that the Muslims had and we lost this is something we had and we lost and so we cannot fault people we can we can definitely fault what's happening and we should and condemn it what's happening to these people but we cannot fault people for being in the positions that they have acquired through incredible effort and work when we haven't done the same we have to rise up as a community because we have the talent we have the intelligence especially in these United States I mean this community is an amazing Community but B is is right there in the Quran and you look at how many verses deal with the Jews never an unqualified statement amongst them are believers sounds like a lot of communities some of them you trust them with with a lot of money they're trustworthy other ones even if it's a small amount you have to make keep on them right they're not the same all of them this is the the Quran distinguishes it it doesn't collectivize it always distinguishes and that's why it's very important that the Muslim Community recognize that the Quran the only time the Quran doesn't distinguish is with Believers and now Muslims too many of us make all the kufar one thing all but the Muslims ah he's this he's that he's that right so that's a problem in our community but Ben the second one chapter 30 arome the Europeans I mean isn't it interesting that the two most powerful elements in our modern world have chapters named after them there's no chapter called ftis even though Persia was the most powerful Empire at that time it was more powerful than the byzantines but the prophet said the Persians he wasn't worried about he knew people like alai would come out of those people great Defenders of this religion great intellects that's what he knew look at the Persians he's amazing people the Persians allahar look at them terali M you just go on and on and on amazing people he knew that he said they'll have one butt and then he said and then there's no he didn't mean there's no more Persia he meant there's no more fear of them it's a great civilization that gave the world so much but he wasn't worried about them but he said R the Europeans and it is the Europeans my friends when you see a Rome in any Hadith and in that chapter of the Quran this is not the anes it's not the Greeks it's the Europeans and their sacred history all goes back to Rome read the venerable bead the sacred history goes back to Rome they will be multigenerational every time you see one of them their generation destroyed another one Rises up that's what that's what the prophet said how did he know that in the seventh century how did he know that how did he know Persia would end he didn't see that in his lifetime how did he know that Rome wouldn't end and then he said they will possess the land and the Sea and now the air is one of the words for the air also in other words don't think you're going to ever conquer them hey he their end comes with the hour so we have to learn to live with these people we need to teach them who we are encourage them they're getting better they are they're getting better you know they haven't dropped an atom bomb in over 70 years so we don't want atom bombs we should be concerned about this you know one of these guys the other day said we maybe we're facing a nuclear war it's not a joke Annie Jacobson read her book and and fear a day when the the heaven the skies will bring a clear smoke a manifest smoke it will overwhelm people this is a manifest punishment the believer say remove this this in we're Believers nuclear winner the the Earth is covered in Smoke I don't know maybe that's one of the meanings maybe that's where it's all headed because we know wins in the D he loses in the but he wins here the prophet said the end of time won't come until nobody says Allah Allah so Dawkins yeah you can Rejoice here now right but if you think a world with religion is bad just wait till a world without religion so that's something to think about that the prophet how did the Quran know that and then the other two are qu and the the Arabs and the Arabs you hear so many people speaking ill of the Arabs the Arabs are the prophet's people and and we should want good for them and pray for them there's a lot of tragic things happening in the Arab world there have been many mistakes the leadership has been terrible the leadership have been bad for a long time sh a great Tunisian scholar in that I knew and was one of my teachers and actually he gave me years ago azza with the hamah I think K from him or something that I would translate it because he gave me a his his uh commentary on it so so he's told me that the tunisians haven't been practicing Islam for 800 years that's what he said he was the dean of the zetuna college amazing man B chelby this amazing woman who stood and wouldn't shake the hand of borba on T National Television humiliated him amazing woman this Tunisian scholar she I sat with her uh and she told me about her father he was 90 years old this great hanafi scholar he was a Tunisian hanfi because the hanafis when the Ottomans were there some of the tunisians were actually hanfy because a lot of the court system was using still hanfi so these are the things our Prophet Salli wasallam saw but here is what I want to end with because I think and this was from uh maduk pikal he said something amazing he said of all the qualities that he saw about the prophet the one that really struck him most was his gratitude and and this is a man who really went deep into our religion and I just thought that was such a beautiful acknowledgment anus who served him little boy his mother brought him she said I want him to be serve you anus became a great M but anus said he served me more than I served him he said he never want said to me o once he went in and he saw anus he said anas go do this and anus looked at me he said L and the prophet smiled and left the room he came back a little while later and he said Andis you didn't go yet and I said I'm going right now y this is called pattern disruption so the prophet sallallah Alam he said this he forgave the women who prepared for him a poison meal giving him thereby a painful illness which which eventually caused his death according to some narrations but he used to get headaches from the poison he forgave the ghoulish and ferocious hind who became a great woman the wife of Abu sufyan who devoured she bit into the liver of his uncle Hamza and he sat with her he sat with her he gave her fatwa about her husband he forgave men and women who had maligned or betrayed him only for the welfare of the Muslim Commonwealth was he severe in punishment never on his personal account Muhammad was full of Virtues but what has Charmed me most among the virtues of Muhammad sallallahu alaihi wasallam was his gratitude a very rare ingredient in the constitution of a great man so here's what he said when the prophet came into Mecca and imagine this these meccans had fought him this is 20 years they fought him he comes into Mecca with his head bowed down that's not the way conquerors come into to places they've just conquered he came in with his head bowed down because he knew he was not the he knew who alah was he wasd he was the servant of the Conqueror he braided his hair because he had so many bedin in the uh and the bed and braided their hair it's not his Sunnah to braid the hair it's the Sunnah of the bedu but he braided it in solidarity with them to show them the the says sometime he will do something that's Mak in order to show that it's not Haram so he for him it would be like normally it would be maku for people who it's not their culture for the men to braid to braid but if it's their culture like in the African-American Community it's the it's a it's that's part of their culture so if they become Muslim and they wear braids is that's that's the of those people but if it's not your culture if it's in your culture it's the women who braid and this why Islam recognizes but he braided he came in with a black turban that he called sahab the cloud it was his turban for Jihad usually he wore a white turban but when he went on Jihad he wore the cloud so so what happens he goes and H is an amazing battle when they were they were all impressed they thought and and they all fled they were fleeing Abu sufyan was holding because Abu sufyan now he he he he was there with the prophet holding his uh his m
