foreign [Music] because they are hungry Filipino Learners are not academically proficient when our senior high school graduates graduate they're still unemployed [Music] there's a situations among employers and very highly competitive job Seekers industry Partners have expressed concern work immersion only for familiarization and not for actual skills acquisition number one complaint of companies in term in hiring new workers is precisely the weak basic skills of communications basic numeracy basic math It Isn't So Much the industrial skills or high-end skills it's the basic skills that our students love what's up [Music] educational system here in the Philippines is more on the number of topics that has to be covered not on the quality Implement organ K-12 education materials I feel like our current education educate much outdated they expect us to get the topic once they bombard us with exams and lectures and they leave us with homework to do which doesn't really give us time to rest there are many challenges that students face these days [Music] clearly we need to stop the learning crisis now by we I mean all sectors of society we all need to take part in solving this crisis we must demand better education for Quality education enables individuals to enjoy strongly rooted and secure lives so my dream for education is every student gets to learn properly that they can understand each lesson that they receive an education that is responsive to the needs of the people school I want a better budget education in the Philippines must first be accessible to all schools must be a venue for the holistic formation of every learner greater accessibility inclusivity and sustainability of our skills development program we will make the curriculum relevant to produce competent job ready active and various industry Partners we want to make our students more industry ready when they graduate so our education must be both locally responsive and also a globally benchmark [Music] Partnership of both public and private institutions Community efforts [Music] concerning Department of Education and education system [Music] Community revisit the current system come together up together so that we can truly bring up a child as a community foreign [Music] [Music]
