100 people who would just type I'm Different you ought to sit down right there I'm different for the last couple weeks the last couple months we've been in the midst of a series as an entire year entitled the courage to what commit the courage to commit we're currently in the midst of a series entitled courage to commit volume to what I got the keys keys represents the principles of God that unlock the promises of God the principles of God that unlock the promises of God each week we've given you a key we've given you a key let's go through these Keys key number one is the principle of generosity the first key is the principle of generosity and the principle of generosity that states that it is a heart that is willing to give that leads to a life that what freely give it's a heart that is willing to give can I ask you a question today no matter where you are are you willing that that's critical to me the older I get I mean as I just had a conversation with my son Mason I bought everybody some Chick-fil-A and I and I do this thing in my house and I want to encourage every parent to do it it's called paying your tithes it's called paying your tithes at any moment I can collect at any moment I can collect they were eating some fries and they look good I said mace let me get some of the first like no he's mine and I was like no I walked over to Mike I said look daddy go Dad boom amazing miles give me something here we go dab on mace kind of had this thing well no these my fries like you you could order just some fries and I'm like mace but my money bought the fries yeah but they're my fries so I'll tell you what since you want to act like that I'm gonna act like that so can I start being petty oh I'm Petty LaBelle now there ain't nobody else I'm Patti LaBelle I tell you what you need some new cleats right what are the ones from last year but Dad they're too small no this is my money no so I'll tell you what Xander you want some cleats he's like here goes some done you ain't willing to give God nothing I'm preaching to somebody that's why and I hope somebody at rock city is listening to me today that's why the moment I get a chance to get in this place oh I'm giving him my best praise oh that's why when God blesses me something Todd and it's easy for me why pmj because I have a principle of generosity that states I have a heart that's willing to give and now it leads to a life that freely gives that's critical right number two we talking about the mindset principle now the mindset principle suggests that what I believe about me often determines what I believe about God the principle of multiplication suggests that God does not simply create us to maintain but he's created us to what multiply watch this the principle of Freedom suggests that freedom is not doing whatever you want to do but doing what you were what created to do all right then we talked about the principle of partnership the principle of partnership suggests that trusting the wrong people will make you worse but trusting the right people will help you what when okay then we talked about the principle of transformation the principle of transformation suggests that my gift will change others but my character will change me all right then we talked about the principle of the pick we got a whole lot of principles don't it we got a whole lot of principles done now oh they got the keys in this thing don't it we talked about the principle of the pick and the principle of the pick suggests that who you choose to be in your life who you choose to be in your life will either be an asset or an assault now I don't think we set in that enough a asset real quickly out loud what's the asset something that increases something that benefits what's a liability something that causes depreciation something that causes depreciation I want to argue and suggest that you have to start doing inventory of your life and asking God am I an asset or am I an assault now here's what messes me up about this in your notes I want you to write an assault now if I have anybody in the room and I see seven or eight of you in the balcony that was a commercial and you missed it seven or eight of you in the back y'all missed it I'ma preach to this side over here 10 of y'all on this side in the balcony you're looking at me like Pastor Mike what's an assault but the brother way in the back I'm prophesied preaching it's already shouting because he works for law enforcement and he understands that an assault charge you cannot have an assault charge on yourself an assault is always cause when you do harm to somebody else all right so Pastor Mike how is the principle of the pick and assault on me if an assault can only this is critical the assault uh oh the assault or the assault has to be on somebody else the assault is not on you presently it's on you futuristically so when you become an assault you step into your future beat your future down so your present is pleased but your future is dead so the reason your presence becomes unbearable because you're present you is happy but because you killed your future you as the days go you move into the future but you keep looking like the present so something in you is frustrated because you like time change but I didn't I'm preaching to five people right there and the worst thing you can do is assault your future this is why I'm telling people you might want to think about what you're doing in June because the November you ain't gonna like that I'm preaching the five folk and I only need 10 of y'all to my present cause the future me getting ready to walk in overflow why do our tithe in my present cause the future me got jobs and better jobs and get ready to walk into multiple streams I need 70 y'all to praise God not for who I am Jay but for who I'm about to be that this next praise ain't for a house this next praise ain't for a car this next praise ain't for a man and it's not for a woman my next praise is the futuristic retrospective praise which means I just walk into 2025. look back into 2022 and then walk back into 2023 and saying thank you now for who I'm about to be tomorrow you ought to just shout the future me gonna be happy [Music] oh oh it is the principle of the pick and this is why you got to be careful and I want to say this and I need 100 people to type this ride I choose me oh I choose me I choose me that's something I'm respecting in this season of my life right now I choose me I don't have to put up with your toxicity cause I've discovered some poisons kill you instantly certain poisons kill you over time and what I've discovered is we tend to be bold with stuff we know gonna kill us today but we play with stuff that will kill us tomorrow and what I'm discovering is if I'm master I might have my first shout in the new building if I master the principle of the pick then God's Gonna teach me about the principle of the Breakthrough and the principle of the Breakthrough suggests breakthrough is not when you go to the next level but when God shows you why you are stuck on your now level and I just want to preach the seven people and prophesy that breakthrough is not coming breakthrough is here oh you didn't shout like I thought you was gonna shout imma say it again breakthrough is here and because sit down breakthrough is here we talked about the principle of discernment now the principle of the discernment suggests that I now have the ability to recognize the difference between what's dead and what's dormant what's dead and what's dormant and then we talked about the principle of the detour that was good it states that God can use an undesired route to get you to a desire result so let's go today today he go another principle you ready for this it is the principle of Honor Jabez was more honorable I want to talk about the principle of the honor principle of honor the principle of Honor suggests that how I express the value of others determines if I experience favor or famine principle of Honor suggests how I express the value of others determines if I experience favor or famine Brabus that was enough to tell the whole church up right there right that's enough to shift your whole life right there principle of Honor suggests how I express let's see through this definition if I don't finish the day I'll pick it up tomorrow all right pick it up next week the principle of Honor suggests that how I express the value of other let's stop right there it's right there on your screen underline that in your notes the value of others okay there is a difference between an appraisal and an opinion imma say it again all my homeowners everybody who flips houses real estate everybody knows this there's a difference between an appraisal and an opinion and what I've discovered is most people will never properly honor you based off of their appraisal Michael see because an appraisal is an expert review other thing combed by things that are similar to it y'all Miss what I just said an appraisal is an expert assessment other thing in comparison to things like it make that make sense okay it means I can walk to a house and I can have an expert assessment and the appraiser would say this house is two hundred thousand because the house down the street looked like it is 197. the house on the other street is 213. it's not as good as the other one but it's not as bad as the first one so I will score it in the middle which means who's on my left and who's on my right matters because I could be a million dollar individual but if I'm hanging with hundred dollar people they bring my value am I preaching to anybody today it's calling appraisal that's why I got to cut certain people off that's why certain circles you can't be in that's why certain friends you can't hang around that's why certain people you can't go to dinner with that's why certain places you can't go it's not that I'm bougie stuck up arrogant or sadity but I respect my own value and I can't I see it's called a comp put that in your notes it's called a comp go back to the definition it's the principle of honor it suggests that how I express the value of others appraisal and an opinion it is an expert assessment can you put that in your nose expert assessment singles married couples men women entrepreneurs listen to your pastor the first thing you need to determine before you live based off of how somebody feels about you are they an expert in this area Jill Jill just shot a movie right I'm tripping Jill just shot a movie just shot a movie all there sometimes it determines the value of your part and the value of the movie but if you show up and they got trailers if you show up and it's a trailer and it's a personal assistant and it's yellow cheese the white cheese the holy cheese the little ham the olives so that lets you know the value of this movie it's on another level so the first thing we got to do is an expert are they an expert well I love a man but I just don't like your business plan what have you built I'm sorry thank you for your opinion you wanna know why I discovered so many people's stall and stop it's because they are honoring opinions and devaluing appraisals Michael they are honoring opinions no if I walk into a house Tiffany is incredible at flipping homes if I walk into a house when I walk into this Sanctuary when I walked into this church I was walking through and I saw certain things like uh I don't know she's like no that ain't nothing that ain't nothing right there pull that down boom move so I could walk bold because I was walking with somebody who had an expert assessment I'm preaching to somebody so watch this because I value her expertise I show honor now here's the problem with most church people and most people in general just because you're an expert in this area don't make you an expert in that area and a lot of times we think people don't honor us because just because you did good over here don't mean you know what you're doing over there so the principle of Honor suggests how I express the value of others determines if I experience this is good right here favor or famine you didn't shout you didn't shout I cannot wait till my church get here I'm so tired of preaching to y'all y'all don't know when to shout y'all think y'all just as smart as me so you do this internal shouting and all this other stuff because you want to look educated have my real Church been here seven people would have took out running because they know the difference between favor and famine favor is when God interrupts what the devil had planned to flip the situation famine in with is when God lets what's happening happen all right favor is when he sends water see I used to think favors when he turned onto water and famine was when he turned off the water but the older I get I realize I'm in charge of turning the water on and off no so so no if I pay the bill I control the water in my house but I am not the water company Mike I'm preaching whether you receive it or not famine is when God cuts off the supply when famine hit Egypt go tell pharaoh when famine would hit biblically even the king starved y'all Miss what I just said when famine hit the king starved and the difference between the king hungry and his Palace and the surface hungry outside was where he was sleeping because famine don't care where you live famine don't care what you drive when famine hits let me pause and parenthetically digress thank you God that's on the spot Theo Muses on the spot Revelation famine is never singular famine is always plural the only time no no if you don't have it it's called hungry if we ain't got it it's called famine so I want to free you real quickly so the principle of Honor suggests that how I express the value of other determinants I experience favor so when I say favor put your hand on your heart favor famine y'all missed it favor man all right paper blesses me and because of my favor people get blessed famine hurts everybody so what I'm showing you is if you walk in dishonor you cut off stuff for everybody but if you walk in honor because of you everybody gets a breakthrough now I need to know who I'm preaching to in the comments and in the room which one you want you ought to just shall favor all my life I need a thousand folk to just type favor on my life favor on my job favor in my family favor when I go to the doctor favor when I get ready to buy a car favor when I close on my new house favor when I do this and favor when I do that I bind up famine I speak There Is No Lack I decree and declare that God get ready to open the windows of heaven and pour out a blessing we do not have room J enough to receive somebody shout favor other you stay out your mouth this season ain't good cause you ain't tune so if five black sisters get on TV and honor each other you say it's boring if they get on TV and kill each other you tell them oh it was good because the culture is training us to be turned on by dishonor Jesus Christ I'm preaching if you receive that and I discover it's difficult to build honor in our hearts when dishonor has built our homes and our lives that's good I was birthed from dishonor you feel me I was entertained by dishonor so what am I discovering in other words we live in a culture that celebrates dishonor people are looking for a reason to disagree so they can disrespect it's called dishonor it's all it's called dishonor and it's so bad now that even when you show up and say stuff like yes ma'am and yes sir people look at oh wow wow thank you when God forbids you say something like thank you okay dishonor is so embedded in the culture now that even if you look at a sister and try to open the door for now I ain't trying to talk to you baby girl I'm just trying to honor I'm trying to honor you if you hang around me long enough I'm gonna make you feel awkward because I'm always say stuff like love you and I love doing it to the fellas who be around me don't even know how to respond sometimes hey man love you love you love you too like you know I'm just trying to show across the world and then talking with them and so and so so and so and so so and so we go places now and everywhere we go Tiffany will go downtown Tristan would do certain things Darius and go speaking Ramsay and people have started to say now we could tell you I was Rock City cause we cause we honor Michael you will not increase I need you to put this in your notes we you will not increase folks job after the fool was messy talking all kind of way showing up late now you asking God to give you a promotion and God like I can but you you wouldn't even have to pray for that had you I'm not gonna have no amen's day them numbers in the Stream going down I can feel it in the spirit right there now think about it think about it they tell you to be work at eight you show up at 8 50. you didn't honor the time so what am I telling you now it is the place here's number two you will not increase with people you do not honor any person in your life that does not honor you you run from that crazy any person that does not honor you in your life you run from you and I discovered it's a lot of people you fuss with get on your nerves can't stand them but in your heart you love them because you know at the core we honor each other honor let's define honor somebody shout out a definition of Honor can we define honor what's a good definition of Honor anybody who want let's I know it unlocks one let's say honor is my I gave it to you earlier I gave it to you I gave it to you to make weighty but I want to use a different I want to use a different one different all right here it is here it is honor is when I purposefully choose to see you like God sees you all right let's add more definition to it honor is when I purposefully choose to see you how God sees you in my life and assignment because I can see you as valuable but the value you bring to me ain't the value that other people gonna bring to you so it is personal y'all missed that to me Rod is a million dollar person easy I forfeit mine so he can have it that's easy that's easy right now don't have the better eye don't have to do nothing that's a million dollar 20 50 million dollar person to me hear me when I say that 50 million I knew it day one first day I saw him I said no he different she got done my shot he different he different would buy tracks from them matter of fact probably every musician that I had at my church it never worked because I was dishonoring them and didn't even know it I would bring them in in the interview session and say I want you to be a rod type imagine you date somebody and tell you I want you to be like Keisha but you need to go get Keisha he won't come yet he just he won't even come to the church and I'm still working on them but to me I see it's value coldest board play I ever seen in my life he program he produced he do XYZ I see the value so anything that he does that frustrate me it frustrates me deeply because I see it through the lens of my appraisal y'all Miss what I just said so so if any other person sit on that key and miss a note I look at them and say if rod do it I said because my personal assessment of him if that person can get it done he can Elevate every aspect of my life when he play my music go to another level when he play my message go to another level when he play my anxiety go to another level watch this so when it comes to my personal assessment he is invaluable to me which is why if we get off a tour bus we get anywhere in the world and he got to have this big bag with him when everybody else get off the bus where I go right let me get it now keep in mind I got Gout and back problems so both of us walking through the airport like this so I choose to honor him some of y'all frustrated I'm preaching today somebody watching me is frustrated because you're like all they do is fuss at me they may be fussing at you not because they do not like you but maybe they fussing because they really value you and the only way they can express their values sometime is through frustration I'm preaching today I'm I'm sorry I'm preaching today I am sorry you will not increase in places that you do not honor you will not increase with people that you do not honor and you will not increase with things that you do not honor honor is the key that unlocks favorite's door we've often shouted over open doors but have you ever considered how many doors closed that God wanted to open because you didn't honor a sad example of what's happening when we lack honor is found in Matthew Chapter 13 57-58 that Jesus told them a prophet is on Earth everywhere except in his own Hometown among his own family and so he did only a few Miracles there I don't think you caught that every place Jesus went he showed out except for the place he was from because the place he was from was familiar family sometimes equal familiarity so oftentimes you lack honor in places where people are familiar family knew his issue strangers only saw his gift I'm preaching better you receive that his family knew he was crazy his family would know you got issues but then the strangers only saw how good you prayed how good you sing how good you bake how good you cook how good you do all the stuff that you do and what we've discovered is because they did not properly value him it limited what he could do the scripture says verse 58 5 being a number of grace and favor eight being a number of New Beginning so in verse 58 we see a cool a code to favor and New Beginnings if you want favor and New Beginnings give honor if you do not have honor your favor and new beginnings and so he did a few will be limited so when we see that there is no honor I need you to put these three things in your notes where there is no honor in life you will be confronted with labels leads and limitations [Music] foreign labels leads limitations in today's text why pmj did you get the labels leads and limitations why pmj put this in your notes when honor is low faith is slow oh my god when honor is low faith is slow what was available for all was only given to a few because of the lack of honor it created a system of unbelief so everybody showed up want something but because it was so much dishonor in the room what could have happened for everybody only happened for a few people because dishonor breathes unbelief see when I dishonor you what I'm really saying is I don't believe in you and when I don't believe in you what you are able to produce cannot be produced because of my disbelief which the root of it is my dishonor I'm teaching heavy today it is dishonor and what I discovered is he could only do a few Miracles the problem was not his power but their perspective I want to ask you a question every man is she driving you crazy because you haven't honored her that's rich right is she driving you crazy because there's no honor ladies let me ask you this question does he hate coming home because that in essence there's no honor do he want to fight all day in the street then have to fight at home if you beat a dog long enough he gonna stop coming when you call him Tiffany why your dog go crazy when you get in the driveway because of your honor the moment you hit that door the moment they hit a lock because they know no matter how lonely I've been all day the first thing they're gonna do when they walk in the house come here is honor what if God wants to use your pain to flip your perspective First Chronicles chapter four verse nine I may stop right here I've been up for a while jabaz was more honorable than his brothers Jabez was more honorable than his brothers and his mama said I'm gonna name you Jabez because I bore you with pain birthing him was so painful that his mom named him pain Jabez translates to me sorrowful pain grief so obviously something about his birth was so painful and so unusual physically or emotionally that his mama said imma name you off of what I felt now I can't preach this because I've never given birth to a baby and it would be arrogance for men to always preach like they know what's happening that's why when I preach about the woman with the issue of blood I preach from my perspective but I will never be able to preach that sermon like a woman who's had to deal with a cycle because she knows what that lady was going through so I won't preach this particular passage from arrogance like I know what giving birth was but I can tell you this evidently it was so crazy she named her baby after it Michael how do you know birth and greatness how do you genealogies name after name it says and this person had this son and has six people this son had this son and had five children this person had 15 children out of 600 families throughout the hebraic family tree and First Chronicles chapter four Jabez shifted his anti-bluff line suddenly out of every person listed in a second in first Chronicles we see somebody different God gives him two verses so 600 families are represented in Chronicles and then out of nowhere God gives one brother two specific verses it was real clear and Carlene had three girls and four girls and five girls and boom and then the baby girl had three girls and four five and five eye boom and Tiffany had two sons and one daughter then the daughter had five people and the son had seven people boom and it was genealogy after genealogy no background then out of nowhere it says Jabez Michael McClure was more honorable than his brothers now before we exegetically unpack this Patrick let's examine Jabez Jabez is a descendant of Judah put that in your nose Jabez I would have church right there on Sunday morning Jabez was a descendant of Judah Judah translates to mean praise so Jabez comes from praise but he's known for prayer he's known for prayer because we call it the prayer of who jabeth but he's a descendant of Praise y'all Miss what I just told you right there so Jabez Aisha is armed with praise and prayer and any real believer knows you need both why let's have a little church right here praise will get the blessing but prayer will show you how to keep the blessing am I preaching to anybody Sunday morning we got millions of people having praised breaks so they leave here shouting and God give them what they asked for when Praises go up blessings come down but when you pray it stays around I'm preaching to seven of y'all if you receive that I anybody can shout but everybody can't Pray when Praises go up blessings come down but when you pray they stay around see the reason I've lost a lot of stuff in my life is because I had a whole lot of praise and a little bit of prayer but in 2023 I'm gonna have a little bit of praise and a whole lot of prayer because I don't have to shout like I didn't think it was gonna happen see most of y'all shout because you just as shocked as the devil is that it showed up but when you honor yes you can praise God while it's on the way and pray that God keeps it in your life praise put that in your nose and prayer praise that's good and prayer the scripture says I need to guess Jabez was more honorable we often highlight the prayer but we Overlook the type of person that prayed people say Jabez was honorable they were honorable but we sleep on the fact that we often say he prayed but we sleep on the fact that he was honorable what if God hasn't answered certain prayers because you're praying the right prayer but you're committed to being the wrong person I was tripping the other day I said God you just Keep On Blessing this crazy boy and in a still Small Voice in my spirit I'm not gonna say it was God but a still Small Voice in my spirit said it's because you get it it was backed up I want a person that I really admire this one phrase was said to me four times this week by four different people who don't even know each other for some reason God Like You and it's like they said it and was trying to figure out why for some reason God like because they know I'm crazy for some reason God like you I got 99 problems honoring one I'm crazy make us pray for me May curse you out I'm sorry I'm crazy got anxiety yep a lot of it got a lot of issues honor ain't one honor anyone honor A1 put this in your notes say honor honor kabad yeah the definition of of Honor spiritually biblically is kabad it means to be heavy in a bad sense it is burdensome let's pause leave that on the screen for me honor in a bad sense biblically means burdensome when I was younger I spared past that now that I'm approaching my season years I understand the burden of Honor it's a burden it's a burden because when you walk in honor God will often have you honoring people who you know don't honor you yeah Gotta Have You honoring people and here's the crazy part then if you check them they look at you like you did something wrong like you ain't got discernment to know that they closetly dishonoring you so what I've discovered in my life now is it's burdensome it hurts to be nice no see y'all like fake church let me have real church let me have real Church Rock City because I'm the type of person oh I can go there see that's that's me and you're gonna have church they fake I can go there I got a level of petty Jill that is unmatched like hear me I can be so petty that you will walk away from me smiling and don't realize till four years from now when you watching a movie on BT and they say the same thing I say you like oh my God but I'm walking to honor it is burdensome it is severe here's another word that I love definition of Honor doll wow doll it feels like it's not cutting through it's not working it is dull it is dull hey man I love you man hey thank you so much whenever you say they trying your patience what you're really saying is my attempts at honor ain't working I've been trying to cut through this person's attitude and this person's issue but it seems like the honor that I'm using dog but in a good sense this is good it means numerous rich to make weighty honor means to make weighty that's rich it means to make weighty it is the kabad that's enough to tell the whole church up if I was at a a Full Gospel Church they would have had good church right there honor kabad glory honor is Glory it is a cloud it is the glory that comes with it it means to make weighty what's the definition of anointing to make that expand your mind if honor is to make weighty an anointing is to make fat the anointing and honor are hand in hand because any person who's anointed but don't have honor will be abusive so watch this anointing and honor go hand in hand have you ever seen somebody work out and they had a big top and a little bottom like they didn't have no lag days that that's what it means to have honor no honor but anointing or anointing but no honor it all didn't come together y'all Miss what I just said that's why most gifted people are the worst to deal with because they fall in love with their anointing so much they think that their anointing makes them exempt from having to operate in honor I'm preaching whether you receive it or not that's why they're so difficult to deal with and I want to pause them parenthetically digress and preach the seven of y'all watching me right now that the reason many of us get ran over is because we honor and I want to pause them parenthetically digress because I want to help you understand that honor and ignorance ain't the same a lot of us are being ignorant not honorable yeah see when you choose to not know your worth you're being ignorant when you choose to know your worth but still try your best to be humble best honor I'm preaching tonight I am preaching I am preaching hear me he carried why is Jabez more honorable let's go home he carried more weight he carry more weight he carried more weight Jabez was more honorable than his brothers what does that mean in biblical sense he carried more weight than everybody that's preaching he carried more weight than everybody else the more weight he carried the more opportunities for God to get the glory so because he walked with the kabad or the glory of God the glory of God resting on him whatever the Reason God keeps adding weight to you is because he's trying to approve you for Glory what if the Reason God keep putting stuff on you is because he realized in order for you to be validated to be different you got to prove you can carry it and not complain you can carry it and don't change you can carry it and it won't consume you can I carry it and don't complain can I carry it and not change can I carry it and not consume me can I be so anointed that I don't become consumed with my anointing can I be so gifted that I don't become concerned with my giftedness can I become so prophetic that I don't become concerned with my ability to be prophetic can I be so so talented so intellectual that I am now I know it all it is honor and what I'm discovering Rock City and many of us will never become what God called us to be because we don't have honor there were so many people trying to buy this property when I when we walked into it one of the things that blessed my life is that the realtor told me he said man the way you honored them they just always respected that y'all Miss what I just said hey how you doing president Pettis man I just want to thank you so much and the vision you guys had and so on so so on so hey even when we got the building I said hey man some of y'all um pictures and and different things that you guys did graduation photos we just found some there it meant something to them so make sure you put it in a room so so they can see honor so when they came down one day and they saw a room we got downstairs I said man thank you it was honor I didn't just say hey get your stuff and get out it's mines now no cause if you don't honor The Giver you reap what you sow and what I'm discovering that's blocking so many of us is a lack of Honor and because he had honor he had the ability to pray and he said now Lord I call on the god of Israel oh that you would bless me indeed imma stop right there and it starts with honor and what am I preaching to you put these three things in your phone and we're gonna go home in the next 10 minutes you ready three things in your phone labels the first thing we see is that because her mom did not honor her baby she labeled him that's a generational curse her mama when his mama went through it so bad that she proved she had no honor for her baby imma make you walk around for the rest of your life wearing what I felt in other words every time he introduced himself he told his mama's story Jesus Christ every time he said hello my name is Jay baz everybody said because biblically the only way you got a name was based off of the prophetic gift they saw on you they would name you after something judah's name is Judah because when his mama had him she started shouting she said and she started praying she stopped having Judah hear me so here every time he said hello he had to relive a history he had nothing to do with I didn't ask to come here I didn't ask for this to be painful and this is why the Bible frustrates me sometimes because it doesn't give me enough information about his mama was the pain physical or emotional is she in pain because the baby's so big he got stuck sideways and it was a breach's pregnancy and they didn't have a C-section type of thing then they had no um um epidural they had nothing so they had to cut her stomach up and say it was it painful physically or did her and the daddy not get along and the daddy ran off with somebody so the whole while she was pregnant she had to realize she was in the house by herself so now she mad the whole time she pregnant so in the moment she saw the baby the baby looked like the daddy and said pain and some of y'all looking at home and looking in this room like how could she do that when you to name some stuff Jesus you to name some stuff when you call stuff toxic that ain't really toxic it just made you mad in that moment and you labeled it put this in your notes no more labels no more labels I'm preaching today no more labels I am not what you name me I am yes Lord what God says I am I'm preaching today I Am What God Says I am broke is not my label I bro anxiety will not be my label and fear will not be my label divorce will not be your label see you got to be careful because in every tribe and in every family there is a generational cycle that needs to be broken that maybe has not been verbally labeled but spiritually labeled can I ask you a question if you go to the grocery store and you want Captain Crunch is Captain Crunch on the Captain Crunch aisle or is it on the label called what cereal so what they do is say it's a whole dip a lot of different types so since I won't give Captain crunches on Al I'ma label this aisle cereal you come pick which type you want and what I discovered is whenever you get a last name most of our last names are indicative of something it's a crazy McClure a drunk McClure a divorce McClure an anxiety McClure a foolish McClure one rich McClure and a whole lot of other type of mcclures I determine which one I become and if you don't live by if you won't live by Design you will end up living by default and many of us because we won't make an adjustment to honor we start looking like labels we didn't pick Michael I'm not just a generational curse breaker I'm a label maker y'all Miss what I just said I am a label maker can you remember back in the day when they had the little labeler machine where you would type the name in then we'll say it would come out and you will stick it I am a label who's ever moved thank you who's ever moved who's ever moved who's ever moved correctly there it is because most of y'all throw stuff in your car and go to the next house who's ever packed boxes my neighbors are moving I looked in the garage this morning they garage full of boxes I walked up and said man I hate you I'll leave and I'm moving to New York and I look at them and y'all organizing oh yeah we moved so much because of this job we know that the Mover if you don't label it the movers were treated based off of what's on the box I said what you mean she said that box right there say pillows so they just pick they read the label pick up the buck and they just throw it in there she said but that says Fine China that lets them know that this it's fragile and you mad at your last three relationships when you didn't put a label on you if you label it it will tell them how to treat you if you label it it will show them how to love you if you label it in a short I'm not to be played with I I don't got toy on my forehead I Am What God Says I Am I need a thousand four and just type your label tell you what I'm a shout and label out you are declare I'm blessed in the city blessed in the field blessed When I functional not fashionable no they look good they all black now I'm killing these things now I got me a gray pet I just gonna kill I got nothing but these are functional see I got foot issues I got different things I wake up in the morning and can't walk I need something with some soul support I need something that can keep me going so I can stay in my assignment right I need soul support y'all Miss what I just said I need functionals y'all laughing at me but I was in I was in the store I said can I try them out he said go I'll put them joints on so okay he's like what's your address I'm proud I need to make sure they can help me and my assignment can I free you these was just as expensive as the Nikes I look at the man and say hey how these the same price as them I know them [Music] I don't determine the value of it because I know it then I messed around I was in Dick's Sporting Good and I mess around and looked at all the pictures and didn't even realize every picture for the most part is Brooks I said evidently there's somebody who understands the value am I gonna be functional or fashionable am I gonna look good or be good and sadly many of us are picking to be your friend's gonna call you pain and your brother's gonna call you pain I am putting a lid on your life all you will ever know is pain which is why I feel like we skip over the coldest part of his prayer if I ask anybody about the Prayer of Jabez the first thing you're gonna shout is what enlarge my territory no the best part of the prayer to me put if you put it on the screen if you put the scripture in he turns to God and he says oh that's enough of me right there his prayer starts with pain [Music] no it says now Jabez called on the god of Israel saying oh oh right there he enters into prayer based off of what he had to live as he didn't go to God trying to be something he hasn't been his first word in prayer is oh that you would bless me indeed enlarge my territory your hand might be with me that you would keep me from harm and not pain me and here's enough to tell the whole church up and God granted him what he requested his prayer was answered not just because he prayed it but because he was honorable [Music] and what I'm trying to get you guys to see is when I look out into this room right now I don't see empty seats I see answer prayers when I see screams that I didn't even know how we could afford and I see lights I see some of the most talented people in the world up here and I see look at it I see answer prayers man and my prayer for you ain't a house or a cup I'm praying God answer every prayer you prayed out of Honor honorable prayers labels to Liz can you put this in your notes we're going home the law of the lid the law of the list says who your next to her bed so he had his bed but I guess the hospital bed was like right here and the rail was down I was like you trying to scoot over ain't your dad he looked at music [Music] um it was just such an honor being in that with him and hear him say some things to me [Music] he didn't live three of my lives and had enough honor to say Pastor thank you [Music] see today I don't want to even I want you to give your life to Christ that's the most important thing but what would mean the most to me today is if you would examine the places of your life where you lack honor no that mattered to me more than anything like can I ask you this question are you dishonoring God by not getting involved what could you bring to the body of Christ that could free somebody and you choose to keep that gift to yourself who wouldn't be blessed if you didn't sing who wouldn't be blessed if you didn't create somebody just lost the house and gotta find somewhere quick to lay their head if you don't flip houses you dishonor God didn't give you that just for you he didn't equip you to be balling so you could be arrogant it's called honor it's called honor labels Lids number three limitations honor places of my life that stall are often the places that lack honor or the places that need growth and sometimes God you send tests to make me stronger not to make me bitter so God In This Moment helped me be a better father better husband better leader better friend better employer and better employee better son better daughter better entrepreneur better businessman woman writer author singer musician whatever it is you call me to help me to honor [Music] God you don't do this in my life cause I'm that gifted I just really believe you honor me because I honor you you know I'm crazy enough to tell the whole world who did it so God In This Moment we honor you anything hit my hand you're gonna get ten percent of it God cause I honor you every stage you put me on imma tell them Jesus did it cause I honor you imma always place you first God and all that I do you never called us to be perfect but you do demand honor so in this moment I ask that you give us the strength to repent in the places we haven't had on her that's vertically now horizontally God I ask that we fix the places where we haven't honored each other where we haven't properly valued you the gifts that God has placed in our lives God we're different and I speak by faith the difference won't be just the gift anybody can sing anybody can play anybody can preach God you made it very clear that if don't nobody in the church sing the rocks or cry out so God I speak by faith we will be different because of the way we honor it is in Jesus name and everyone said amen listen to me just say this over your life I'm different come I need you to stand with me say I'm Different know your value know your value don't ever question your value again hear me when I say this and then this is one of the areas that the Holy Spirit has been dealing with me on that a lot of us there's something we need to break in the body of Christ and in somewhere if you grew up in church they taught us to devalue ourselves so we do stuff like this man you really sung this home and it was all God no no you you can sing I don't think God is going to be displeased because you didn't say well it's all God no no you can say thank you so much you're gifted don't walk around like you're not who you are no you aren't talented you are incredible be honest and what happens a lot of times is I was talking to someone God's put me in this position where a lot of gifted people in the culture are just starting to reach out to me because some of the preaching Clips go viral and a certain person who's in a movie and I'm like name dropping uh he saw the clip that I posted the other day inbox me and we just had a little IG conversation on IG uh and he literally said he was like Pastor Mike pray for me man so I got a big day tomorrow and I was crazy I said you want to practice he bust out laughing I said let's practice and I said hey man welcome you gotta do something he was like man first off I can't even believe this is happening I don't want to stop real quick I said she grew up in church didn't it it was like yeah I don't know why we always think we have to walk in low because Mike humble is the way but sometimes you walk in certain rooms you got to walk in like you know who you are there are certain times that's where the principal of discernment kick in no I literally had the opportunity to talk with Timberland one of the greatest beat promo producers in the world I'm sitting at the table with Timberland and Timberland looks at me and trying to figure out who I am because everybody's speaking to me and in that moment Holy Spirit said don't be humble I want to take that back it said don't be cute be very bold with all you've been doing I said Hey sir Pastor Mike Jr man we've been doing so and so so-and-so new king of inspiration it's Urban inspiration man we're doing so and so we're changing lives Play the album I started playing the song and while we're sitting there one two three now all these different doors are open and anyone know what he said to me on the phone I was just so glad you weren't like the rest of them with all that fake I don't do this stuff but then conversely there's certain rooms I walk in and I say well first off I just want to thank God that's the principle of discernment see when you don't have discernment you don't honor the moment you don't know the moment you don't under the moment so when God put you on stage with me goes and put you on stage with Janet Jackson and all these people that ain't the moment for you to walk in well man I play just a little prayer being weak but even until my presence being weak when I'm trying to get you to realize is honor just ain't how we treat each other for some of you you gotta honor the moment you got a promotion live inside of our Valleydale campus no it's not time to have church yet there's so much more we have to do we want to do things right we're at the point now where we're bringing inspectors in to check certain things and we're passing all of our inspections making sure the parking lot has what it needs making sure the restrooms have what they have etc etc we've been in constant communication with the police departments over here because y'all already know when I tell you it's time to come on y'all gonna shut this whole street down man so we're gonna have police officers everywhere so what
