stream yard to put your name so that i can see who you are if you comment and i like to put the comments on the screen if it's something that you know is what we're talking about so well i usually start with jennifer is uh where did you grow up i was born and raised in colorado the denver area so suburb on the north side of denver wow so you stuck close to home yeah i bounced around like a ping-pong ball and uh now i'm back here again coming back coming back to the same the mountains wow and i've been there and they have this ring road that you if you get caught on it you're like where am i going around trying to get where is that there was in denver there was this big ring road and i was trying to get atlas i could get out of town and you have to pay like it's like a tool it's a brand new it was a few years but i was like wow this is i've never seen anything like it have this beautiful road the denver is a lot like our where we're from so which we have that in common because i'm from canada alberta and so there's we have fountains and we have similar some similarities i've been there to see that in the mountains i've never been to calgary but they say we're sort of like sister cities because we sit both sit right up next to the mountains the planes on the other side and the beautiful beautiful plains and greenery too yeah so you have uh is do you have just one sister or do you have one yes one sister and you're the younger one right no i'm the older one i'm the older and wiser i got that i'm wrong don't tell me so how is that growing up with uh two girls you know your parents uh you must have been pretty close knit family with just the two girls um i think so you know i don't know i think we probably had a lot of competition between us we're only 13 months apart oh yeah that makes sense so i think yeah i'm sure there are plenty of siblings who grow up who are that close in age uh who don't have the same level of competition but i sort of feel like there was that i think she felt like she was always in my shadow i always felt like she got to do everything i did even though i was quote older you know so i have two girls and two boys too and you know what's interesting is like um in families many times there is that competition with babies every time a baby comes in and it's processing through it it's like a yeah and i like we learn how we go out in the world and impact other people through those relationships it strengthens us like like a pearl and oyster you know like clam you know it's like you're like getting sharpened and shaped for the world that's what yeah so you as a little girl what did what kind of things did you enjoy doing what was unique about you oh gosh you know at least you know by the time you get to high school you're sort of labeled right you're either a nerd you're a band geek you're an athlete or whatever and i was all of those probably nerd more than anything so um school came pretty easily to me uh but i was and i played sports i played soccer but i was never i did well to get a letter like you know so it was not on the star team i always wanted to be on the you know the star team but i played in the marching band and sang the choir and musicals and and things like that and i loved that i loved that you know we were marching band in particular we were always the fun people at the football games there was always stuff you know going on and parties and that's where my friends were and yeah what did you play what did you what was the instrument so i originally started out i took piano lessons from a very young age so i played the piano and then started playing flute and added piccolo to that but because there were so many uh flute players i switched to oboe and that might have been maybe i don't know maybe year 10 i don't know i never got very good at it it was very difficult i loved the instrument i loved the sound of it but i was just never very good at it so yeah and marching band what was that i played flute for a while and piccolo for that for marching band and but also a couple years was on the flag team wow and did a there's a competitive version of that called winterguard and i did did that as well so i was in something music and band related like all the time a year-round thing and i know it's gotten even i don't want to say worse but i talk to parents who have kids who are in marching band it's just you know it starts in the middle of the summer you know and they're at practice for hours and saturday mornings are early and i'm like wow i just we spent time but i don't think it was like quite like that but it was good fun i loved it but we like trying fighting now like doing it spiritually the flagging uh no no no no i think this was a competitive like uh it's like a performance like uh like if you've ever watched drum and bugle core yeah this is like the winner version of that it's done indoors and so it's just what you see visually out of a drum and bugle core just flag and rifle team wow so yeah very different yeah i forgot all about that until just now did you get yeah you know like showing my age but there just wasn't that kind of thing i don't think we even had a video camcorder so there are probably you know photos somewhere but yeah i remember in high school there had not been a competitive uh color guard team at our high school before and so it was a big deal to have one and to compete during the winter season and they hired a coach who came in and helped us even during marching band season and it was it was kind of fun it was just very different yeah so anyway hi so christine already asked me what was school like for you so you really enjoyed school and um sorry academically yeah academically i did i think uh socially a little more challenging yeah you love to learn right you love from what i've from what i'm learning about you uh ever since being you you know back in march um just hearing you share and stuff like you love to study and research and educate and i think that's really cool that's a really cool thing about you so let's talk about your travel so what gave you an interest in travel like when did that start for you oh that was probably my parents you know we didn't we didn't grow up like wealthy like you know big trips but we would try my parents made sure we took some kind of trip once a year and so i remember just taking you know trips around the u.s and things like that and then when i was 14 i got invited there was a school program that sent students to europe for a month but you had to study so you got academic credit for it which is what we now call study abroad i didn't know it at the time and but man i studied my little heinie off to you had to take all these classes and do all this study ahead of time and um i worked i worked at the dairy queen during the summer and i paid my dad 42 dollars a month for a very long time you know yeah exactly you know to pay off my portion of it and uh i think i had just a tiny bit of money that my oh no that was for something else no i yeah they like lent me the rest the money i paid part of it and i worked in addition to going to high school to pay for that and so that was probably really the first big trip i took that i was 14 at the time we were in five countries i was gone a month and i my parents still gave me grief about this but i basically got off the airplane and said that was a lot of fun can i get clean laundry and go back and they were kind of like uh nice to see you you know and i apparently did not even write home or call like you know there would be no cell phones in the day right i basically made no contact with my family apparently the whole time i was gone better no one's you know i was 14 and i think i just thought oh the teachers they're they're taking care of that so yeah that uh that did not go down very well when you grew up you grew up early then so you look you know you're probably more mature to go like not all kids could go at 14. yeah maybe so i think i was probably more the obedient child and you know did the right thing i think that part came more easily to me and you know trying to behave be the obedient one that kind of thing um i think probably socially i struggled a bit just in confidence and and who i am and really being able to understand that and just own that and be who i was and i think i'm certain i really didn't probably grow into a lot of that until i was uh mid to late 20s probably wow like to travel like so when you did this traveling um i was writing here you traveled so many amazing places please share like your top three like favorite experiences if you like one or two or three whatever oh my gosh you know it's it's so hard and i think for anybody who just who travels think about you know places that you've just been or jobs or people you know it's like just it's really just hard to to pick um you know i think without just being one location but the year i spent in up with people that was right out of college and that was a year of traveling and performing we were 120 people from 14 countries and we traveled to eight so sort of that whole year just wrapped in this bubble and it was such an intense experience that only other people who've been through that really kind of get it so i have this whole basically family of thousands tens of thousands of other alumni so that for me was just super great and just so much exposure to people and places and things i learned by watching other people so that was that was part of it um out of that we performed on the plaza in front of the duomo in milan and that was that was that's probably got to be tops of like you know what the heck was that was that a really you know that kind of thing so that was one um i was on a missions trip to india in what was 5 or 06 after the tsunami so the tsunami was on boxing day and then i was there about three months later on a short term mission trip a medical team i'm not medical in any way so i was in charge of like go here go there that's what i was allowed to do uh and that was just super intense just super intense so that's probably top of the list and and i lived in australia so um i love melbourne i love just loved the country and just that god gave me that experience uh i was mid-career and it was just one of those like are you kidding me like i get to go do this it was so yeah those are probably top three i guess i would say and what can you explain what up with people is i've heard of it yeah and what was your what were your rules in the performance like right so up with people was started in the 60s started in the u.s but it's basically it still exists in a very different form than when i traveled but it's a was an organization for young people you had to be between 18 and 25 and by the time i traveled you you would spend a whole year traveling so they would just uh recruit young people from all over the world so we had 120 people in my cast and when i started the the year that i went your tour was a year long and we started in july there were 600 of us who came to arizona to to go through staging and orientation and to learn the show the singing the dancing all of that you would do and then they divided us up into four groups and we all just went different directions around the planet everybody's tour was completely different and the purpose of the organization it wasn't faith-based uh but really the idea about building bridges of friendship that's sort of the thrust behind it so that the idea is that if i stayed in 73 host families during that year and ideally i know right i just found my my uh books uh just a little bit ago because i moved and opened this box and i'm like oh there they are because i had all 73 families sign my book and it's just a trip to look back through and uh yeah and so the idea was that the music was all a lot of it originally written a lot of i didn't realize at the time how many big names from the music industry were writing for up with people at the time wow who knew and um yeah and so each every two years the show would change there was a different theme but the in general the thrust behind the music was just helping communities uh it didn't take a stand on issues one way or the other but just raising awareness about that through song through dance you're staying in host families we did a million hours of volunteer and community service which is how i learned so much about that i watched other people just interesting conversations and so the idea is that hopefully after i stay with you you know a little bit about at least what my perspective is as someone um as an american and i know more about your family and what your country is like and what matters to you and again this idea of building bridges of friendship and just raising awareness about issues or things that are going on in the world and to encourage communities where we were to hopefully continue that action just to to keep going so sort of kick start thinking that started way back that we'll talk about a bit later but it's amazing how god uses things in our life when we're younger to impact like he takes us on journeys that like you have such a different life than me extremely opposite like i hardly ever leave the house so it's like it's it's intriguing to hear some of the things that you've experienced and the places you've gone and i mean you could just take different locations and tell people so much and yet there's still so much to learn of course but right even that is is so beautiful to be able to offer that rather than just having to google you know like to be able to offer the personal warm experience and isn't it amazing that they planned all that over the phone like all those troops of people like back in the that oh yeah yeah part of the experience was that you could take on different roles that it took to run this entire year so we had road staff who traveled with us they were all alumni so we had a cast director oh someone says they know another up with people alumni well you know the words the song are you meet them wherever you go so it's quite likely i'm always fascinated how i you know where i meet people or other alumni but yeah so like as we would go from city to city our itinerary was mostly planned out but largely still unfolding as the year would go on and so one of the experiences you could have is go to go to a city what we would call the advanced team so for example i went to london ontario and i lived there for i was there three or four weeks there were a team of four of us and we sold tickets made phone calls announcements were recruiting people to be the host families you had to measure and do all of the technical spec of the theater for the show that was going on you gotta know we got a semi truck coming and can it back in is you know all of that tech bit part of it um and host families and you planned all these volunteers i still remember london is a city of trees i have all this random knowledge in my head about london ontario because it was our job as the advanced team then so as the cast would come into town then every you got you know little bags of information about the city and you met your host family and we volunteered london also i don't know if it still is true has one of the biggest and most well-known children's museums in all of north america i don't know if that is still true but it was back then and so we took a group of underprivileged kids to the children's museum and that was one of our volunteer service activities that was was there we went to and we got tickets to second city that was off the hook because people were like even me i didn't know what second city was but we got tickets they allowed us to come for like a buck a person wow and of course they knew as a cast they knew what up with people was so they made fun of us it was awesome it was great but you got people from another country who you know think about things we know even in north america you know we know stories of wizard of oz we play baseball here and you know you're volunteering at some junior high school you're trying to explain to someone from taiwan how to play baseball you gotta hit the ball you gotta run no no no no you gotta go the other way around you know just thing and things that i learned about other places you're like what what is that like yeah i'm driving like learning to drive in the snow and they don't have they don't have snow in their country right oh people who experience snow for the very first time i can't remember we were in italy and uh we all you know we got a sack lunch from our host families and so we're there for the day we're rehearsing we're doing whatever we are for the day and everybody takes out their orange and they're like oh it's like it's brown it's kind of rotted and most of us threw it out didn't know what a blood orange was like and they're beautiful there and they're very expensive at least here in the u.s if you want to buy them i'm like all right blood orange okay we learned so much from like you must have learned so much from the different cultures like even when you traveled like going to australia and yeah like a lot of difference god's been really good and i think there's something obviously in how he made me i remember taking class on revelation several years ago um by it was it is it bsf bible study fellowship the women's group i don't know if that's a thing in canada god is fun-loving that is so true he has such an amazing sense of humor and you see his creativity you know his creativity and how he's made us and yeah so and i remember there was something in revelation as we were studying that about loving the diversity of the world and different feet uh food and different peoples and i know some people are like no i'm happy staying home some people are like yeah maybe you know and and even i'm i'm like i'll go but then there's still another level for me that's probably like two two riskies two you know yeah but now there's something about how he made me that i i love that but up with people was one of the experiences missions was another that they radically changed i think who i am how i viewed the world to learn how to get along with other people how to be gray i find i am extremely gray uh compared to most other people who are no this is the right way to do this this is the wrong you know and to really learn to see another person's perspective and man i'll still never be perfect at that until the day i die but it they were both very transformational for me in in a good way change that i needed exposure i needed growth i needed wow i like that that's really good that's really good um when you traveled you said that you had some embarrassing and fun moments oh traveling oh when i've been training people yeah why did i tell you that why don't i just keep these things to myself see this is where i'm going so yeah one of the ones i remember recently so i was a volunteer coach in a professional development program great is servant color oh i love that that's good dessert desert gray is servant color that's good that's really good uh yeah i was uh training so i coached in this program when i worked in international ed and people could join this program that was like a year-long leadership and professional development for them and as part of that they got a coach for a year so for two years in a row i had five or six trainees that i coached for a whole year and i can we were talking about networking and which is a concept a lot of people don't like they hate the idea of it but as part of this program and as part of the field in international ed in north america we host one of the largest conferences worldwide in international ed and so there are about ten thousand people that come depends on the year but eight or ten thousand people and it will put even the most extroverted extrovert that will like it'll still just level you it is like seven days it is full on from wow i would start meetings at seven a.m come home at two o'clock in the morning and get up and do it again all the next day it was just but if you like international it's just like being a kid to candy score because there are people from everywhere so anyways part of this program this training was doing we were talking about what is it like to go to these conferences some of them that they had to go to they were required uh were smaller but how do you prepare and how do you go to a conference if there are a hundred people 500 people or 10 000 people so they had projects they were working on and as part of that you need to meet certain people if you're going to get a project done right you're trying to build some new things in the field and in their jobs and what they were doing and so you need to learn how to meet people that's professional networking and so i was saying something about you know if you're at a a professional like cocktail reception and you got your plate your drink you're trying not to spill it you're trying to like you know be all grown up and professional and things but you know that somewhere in the room is the person you're trying to meet let's say it's the president of the company or whatever right that you to get your project done right or that you need to learn whatever but you might be talking to someone you need to get away from and i basically said something like that of like so you got to learn basically how to ditch this person and the words just came out of my mouth and i was we were on this zoom call with my trainees thankfully it was just the five of them and they just they just busted out laughing i was like oh no because it came across like totally wrong i'm like no i'm not telling you to ghost people that is not okay that's right yeah right but you you have to the point is if you've only got a 30 minute event and you need to talk to the three most important people in the room because the dean of the caller there the president or whatever or your partner has come all the way from china and you need you know you you got to make time right no dilly dallying right and so you have to learn how tactfully anyway it just and so then they were like now let's have a contest in the conference you know who can ditch the person the best i was like oh no oh no so on the upside like they got the point right i'm like all right i did a good job they they know what i'm talking about but oh yeah that's great now when you talk about international education u.s congressional sting operation and yeah at university level can you kind of like explain i think some people are that that love travel or interested in this even for themselves or for their their young you know adult children or their younger children like can you explain that yeah i love this and again this is probably because of the experience that i had from when i was so young and how much it changed my life and most of the people who work in the field of international education are like me they have been abroad at some point in time and got wrecked and so now they're like yay let's go mess up more people let's send more students abroad you know take them away from their parents get them away from their parents right yeah yeah that's a whole other side of managing that but um you know yeah so the field what we call international education are those people so let's say you have son or daughter or you yourself you're at in high school you're at university does rotary still exist that was a big thing long ago right but they have rotary scholars right and you can get a scholarship and you can go study in another country so rotary is an example there are all kinds of programs that help students go from high school age and i work university level think about students who come to a country to learn english like very much that's why students come to uh and um of course to canada and to the us they come to both countries to learn english so it's the field of the administrative people who make all of that happen that's primarily what that means so student walks oh good yay there's another love travel fan yay um so let's say that you know a student goes to university and they um they go into the office and they want to you know study overseas somewhere for a semester right so there's someone in the office then it's that administrative person who says fill out this form come to this orientation session you got to do all these things if you want to go do that and then you got to think about there's someone on the other end so whether they're going to spain to italy or whatever and so the beautiful thing is this is happening all over the world because if i'm sending my students somewhere and i'm trying to get them off campus well my campus is probably also receiving international students so we've got this our own revolving door happening just on our campus and the same thing is happening on thousands of campuses all over the world so that's that's in general what the field of international education is people work um at educational institutions schools universities associate there's all you know all of that right and then every country has its own policies around um how people can use financial aid money loan money student money what age students tend to go even between the canada between canada and the us very different as to how these processes occur um purpose of that um you know for part of the time i was working i was basically recruiting americans and canadians to do their entire degree overseas uh in specifically australia or new zealand so as recruiting i would go to canada and travel all over the us and say hey instead of you know going to school at your local university or whatever i think you should go overseas and so it's interesting how different countries uh and how this process ha it meets different purposes a lot of this revolved at least in the us in the 50s as diplomatic missions started to come up and post world war ii that's kind of how all of this began i can't say that for all other countries and but for example in canada when i was first working this would have been in the 2000s um canada had a then you guys needed teachers like crazy there was a massive shortage of teachers but not enough spots at university to train all of the teachers and one of the things that australia and new zealand did very well was they put to get all of their primary and secondary um teacher education programs and the certification you could go overseas to australia or new zealand to get that teaching certification come back and be immediately qualified to teach let's say in in ontario wow yeah these are things that people do not know and what is this congressional sting operation so part of that that was i just backed into that and that was one for me it was probably something i where i learned a lot about myself and how god made me and why i'm good at what i do and in a lot of jobs i've had i've been sort of shamed for this um as you said i like to learn and information and i can put all these pieces together and it was shamed a lot like why do you ask so many questions and i'm like because i'm trying to help you here right so what happened this was in the u.s in the early 2000s so in the u.s you can take uh federal funds student loan funds to study overseas and to complete your degree you can get similar money in canada but the amounts are much less it depends on province you know osap versus whatever's happening in all the other provinces right but in the us uh an institution outside of the us could be certified in this program and so i could take all the same financial aid money i could get and study here at a u.s institution i could use that same money and study anywhere else so you start to do the math and you go so i could complete a bachelor's degree in australia or new zealand in three years time for a fraction of the price and still use my loan money you know this is where yeah it gets so interesting so interesting so but one of the things that happened is uh the us congress somebody got a little b in their bonnet and this isn't being done right and they set up a sting operation they set up a pretend university and showed that um things were not being processed and managed as they should been and what had happened uh to what the u.s department of education had done was they basically had certified authorized all these schools outside the u.s but had not trained them or put up the same systems properly as u.s institutions were trained so of course they weren't performing as well and there was mismanagement and so because of that the risk to us students was then that you were not going to ever be able to use that money to use that to take that money and study overseas and it wasn't just those who wanted to do their degree it was could it could have impacted all of those students from the us who wanted to go abroad for just a semester which actually is the more predominant way that we as americans uh study abroad we typically go for a semester that's more common um yeah and so i didn't know anything about financial aid but i had to figure it out it was the project i got handed because i'd already been working and recruiting students and advising students on doing their degree overseas and boy i had to just i just had to dive in it was like you know someone hands you this stack of manuals that's like you know this big really boring stuff it would be like someone says hey how would you like to set up an office related to the canadian tax law and you're like no but yeah so we needed to do it so that it preserved that right for students because if if the universities outside the us didn't get up to speed they would have lost that right to process that that money um for students and so it would have basically severely impeded wow yeah well you've done a lot of um neat things in that regard jennifer it's like wow as a single woman you're an inspiration you know i think sometimes people think a woman you can feel like um i still need to arrive or you know but you claimed a lot of things in your journey and that's an inspiration and i have other single you know women that come on from heart to heart hub here and i was wondering what would you like to encourage or give wisdom through your own life to share with the single women and also for us who got married but need to understand you know don't you think the hard part about life is that you hear different stories and you go oh i wish i could do that in my life or i would have had that in my life and you don't some things you don't get to be both right you don't get to be single and married or or you shouldn't at the same time is right frowned upon and it does not end well right but you know for me i feel the same thing right there's i've done all these other uh things but you know i miss on you know being married and i spend a lot of time alone i will go entire weeks without you know especially now that we're in lockdown you know of seeing another like person that i know face to face and having a real conversation so there are there are downsides to it so i think my advice to all of us is to remember that there's there's good and bad to both sides of that and so i think for me maybe this is my advice to myself to remember and be grateful for the opportunities that i have had you know yes there are things i'm missing that i grieve terribly of not being married and not having children and those are heartbreaking those are hard words for me to spit out because they they cut so deep and you know you try living single you try just to think try not to think sometimes about how alone you are um and i'm the thing is being married having spoken to enough friends you can be married and still be very alone right things that you can't you feel like oh i can say to this other person i can't even say to my spouse or you know whatever it is we still at some level we all feel invisible don't you think and misunderstood and we just would long to be known fully known and fully loved what's that the song you know that's i can't think of the artist but fully known and fully loved right which is the thing that only god gives us and so i think you know whether you're single or married just remembering what it's like right and that uh i think for me often you know i long to just be invited and included do you know i don't care if it is you and your husband i'm sure to you you're like she won't want to be the third wheel and i'm like yes i will because i don't want to it's that or i'm gonna sit at home by myself one more night you know that's really good that's really good to hear because i do have single friends that you know like my husband and i went to listen to our friend ramona she's a single mom but down here down the you know downtown the other day and it meant so much to her you know just having us come my parents came and the baby you know and it was like right yeah which again i think is true oh tauren wells thank you thank you taramos i love him he's so good um yeah right it's just that connection and the other thing is i think you know maybe on both sides we all think that either the other person's life is perfect it's all set up you know you're married and you're like you know you know i have friends who are like let me know when you're going on vacation please can i come just like and i'm not going to tell my family where i'm going i would love to have like five minutes to myself you know you're a mom of young kids you are losing your mind you know and so everybody needs that bit of connection and i think it's the diversity right because to hear well what what is it like to be married and conversations you guys have and what's that like and how does your household run and what's mine i think that was one thing i got from up with people right when you're in 73 homes i came home and people were i would just come over to visit people's house and i would just walk to the cupboard and i would take a glass out and get a drink and we're just chatting and they're sort of like you just like well and i'm like yeah but i've been on the road if i wait for somebody invite me to you know get a drink of water like no life is casual let's just let's just get on with livings take a look you know someone to get me a cup of water like i actually i have to think about this one time i have four adult children and we're in la and we live eight minutes from ralph's and everyone went out and came back with four different cars and i'm like nobody got me half and half right and then i hear god say to me stacy you can drive a car ride down the hill again with yourself and i'm like well like but what you know you actually it was one of those moments i was like mad at everybody like doesn't it no expectations like you know like that's you know christine's saying i'd be thankful in the season you're in thank you i really respect that about you um and how much you offer you know to others like um just in what you represent jennifer and i think sometimes we can feel like oh i missed this or i didn't arrive and right and what i love about interviews is no one has to have you know some people are afraid to come home because like you know i i don't have everything solved and i'm like yeah neither do i so it's all good let's breathe you know and i love that you're still on your journey um but you have so much wealth of wisdom and like experience and research that just blesses us like you don't hear about the world and i just want to tell you that because and you know you have your own home you have like an investment like i have another single friend in la and i tell her she has a home too and i'm like you have to realize that's a rarity in a single woman to own her own home and so i just want to celebrate this right now yeah because like it stands out to me you know i'm looking through the thing that you had sent me i was like that's that's actually pretty cool pretty amazing and you know we just want to respect and honor you in that and all that you've come through and you've come to this transition of stepping into some new things with the new business and that but you you still lived all that right and journeyed through all that and now you're you're bringing it and you have such a heart for the world like i i wrote this down i love your heart to solve big problems tell us more about your dreams i said i believe that will happen i wrote this down because i do believe that as you step out and you're taking risks and and stepping on in faith you know risks with god you know and trusting god i can do all things to you who strengthens me right and you're stepping out and you're being creative with all that you you're bringing so tell us a little bit about what god's put on your heart to to do in in solving big problems i think that's really cool oh that's sweet it's so nice of you to say that i don't you think that you know we don't um thank you for that many blessings to share wow you know i think you know this is why god put us in community right we've had this conversation before that you've got to have that mirror for someone else maybe whose life is very different because we've talked about you've had experiences and lit places i'm like living in hollywood what the heck you've got four grown kids i'm like wha and there's like what like eight kids originally in your family i'm like what is how does that work you know so everybody's got a unique perspective that's that's the thing and but we need that mirror sometimes i think for someone else to say that's valuable i don't know anything about that that would be really helpful you should tell people that you know because you know to me i'm in the middle of my own hot mess just like you're in the middle of yours right you know you go oh yeah you want a home and all this kind of stuff and i'm like oh man if you could only just see you know if i turned the camera around and you saw all the boxes and all the stuff it's just you know and there isn't anybody who goes down the hill to ralph's to get me you know i'm like so self great it's right and we're out of half and half who's going to go do that anyone anyone you're like oh yeah so that's why yeah no um and i think everybody's got some some something that god has put on their heart i believe everybody is creative in some way it's just how it comes out and what role we play most people have a desire i think especially as believers to uh help the world and help other people it's why it's such a general statement you go well what kind of job you want what do you want to do well i want to help people well you could drive the bus you could be the checkout person at the grocery store you could teach like lots of ways to help people and so it's a good thing god's made us all different right thank goodness we all don't want to do the same job there's some things i'm like not me ever so these are just two things that have been on my mind you get this because you have an entrepreneurial creative mind as well and i know there are other people on this uh call right now who are listening who are this same way who just see different things and you just want to solve it right and you've got interest in you oh i can do this i can do it and the trick is lord what is your best and what is the most important thing you want me to do so over the years i've just regularly seen things and so in the last i think i was fascinated with the idea of tiny homes probably before it was a thing the condominium do you say condo in canada or do you steal the apartment if you own it do you i live in a condo okay you say condo all right uh some countries don't they use the word apartment so i never know exactly um you know it's small it's 686 square feet it's tiny and i can't remem you know thinking i wish someone would design small furniture things for small places you know nothing ever fit it made it awkward and so i remember uh checking a book out from the library oh that's been probably 20 years ago about an architect who talked about designing small spaces and make your space wherever you live to fit your life and i'm like this is genius and so here we are years later and i don't even remember how i originally got connected to the tiny house movement and i'm not sure that i want to live in one i think i like the idea of like being on the road for a while in a tiny house and having one i don't see myself living full-time in 180 square feet i think that would just and i don't want to climb a ladder just to get to my bed where i still have to be on my knees to get into bed that so there are parts of it that don't suit me but the part that somehow again i don't know how it fits but i see that you know you can own a home for so much less to have a tiny home and it uses there's so much less impact on the environment you can be off-grid you can run it cheaper on gas less water run on solar less impact on the environment and usually people who like tiny homes seem to be people who like the outdoors you know you want to be with other people but you're fine being other places and you want to just park it where you've got some view i would love to be remote and be able to live and work where i want that's really sort of my only my favorite what that will be right right i declared in jesus name right now so for me the other interesting thing then about the tiny house is at least in denver right now housing prices are just crazy we are now like at the level i don't know if we're quite where la or new york is but we are one of the most expensive places to live in the us and prices are just going up crazy like we're seeing things like you know back in you know maybe the 50s the 60s kind of thing you could you know a husband could drive a truck wife could be an administrator a school teacher or something like that or even just have one income and people could afford to buy a home even if it was a small home and in denver you can't do that anymore and we're seeing people going back to living you know five and six people to a house uh just to have a place to live um we are short on housing just in general even if they you know built like crazy for the next few years we still will not meet the demand of housing because there are so many people moving to the denver area wow and so you know the ability for people to you know to pay hundred dollars a month for a little studio uh in rent is ah it's angry you know and you can't as i look at people think about those who work retail or work fast food or restaurant or even you know teachers things like that you can't even afford to pay rent uh it's just insane so for me there's got to be a way to solve that i don't know exactly what that looks like but how can tiny homes be be part of that there are some projects across the us across canada you know looking at how could they be used for the homeless population how can we get people just off the street um zoning is a is one of the big issues certainly across the u.s about where you're allowed to park your tiny home and what revenue does that look like in land usage you know and it's just stupid it's based on laws because we need people to pay taxes on land and a house right um yeah we can go more in debt but we'll get into that and you know when you don't need you know 5 000 square feet what would i do with 6 000 square feet except for invite a whole bunch of people to come live with me you know and so yeah i'm interested in what does that look like how would that be solved i'm interested in some of the tiny home development yes pot is definitely a big one here in denver because it makes me so oh don't get me started yeah it's one of the reasons people are there are so many people moving to denver and somebody said they're like well i can't wait till the whole of the us legalizes pot because maybe people will stop coming here and they'll go somewhere else because yeah um so i again i don't know what the solution is but i would love to be part of that it's one of the things i would like to do with my condo is to it's appreciated in value i've owned it 28 years so if i could sell it and somehow use the money from that i would still have to have a place to live but how can i sell that god how can you use this what you've given and blow it up bigger right how do we turn this into an entire development how do i buy land and either let people park their tiny home on it pay me rent you know like a mobile home parks kind of work that way you know your house is saying don't sell your i know right now it's the only reason i'm not on the street so i'm very glad to have that but you know what what does that look like um can i put offices on it you know you think about co-working spaces or people who need a sanctuary to come write music or write a book or and they need a space that's quiet that's not home right where you could you know like a rent an office kind of space um and use that money then to fund other projects so that's sort of on my heart lord how how do we use this then and parlay that into something bigger um yeah so that's kind of i like that and jennifer um you had mentioned that you've been through grief and loss and i'm sorry like you shared a little bit with me are you comfortable sharing yeah yeah even even about with your job situation would you be open to sharing because i feel like it's amazing how god's taking care of you that's it's like a miracle really yeah it's uh it's just it's been interesting you know i feel like this is one of the for me one of the i think the downsides of being single is that when you're a person of one income you know statistically i will make less money uh than anyone who is married and i get that there's two sides to that right because if you're married and you're the only breadwinner in the household and you have a spouse and kids there's also a level of pressure with that but i definitely feel that that weight that burden at times of i'm it there is nobody else and yeah so the employment they this is a point of discussion between the lord and i because when i moved to australia it was a great job opportunity and i know i was in the right place i absolutely know it but i look back over the last 12 years have not had steady income for more than probably two years at a time since i came back so in 12 years that's been a long time to not have steady income to so finances are part of it and just the stress of paying your your bills but it's also been for me about finding a place where do i fit you know work shouldn't be our whole identity but it is part of our identity because that's what god made us for and so to not have that really chips away then at your identity your purpose your place where you fit um i've moved 10 times in 12 years i've been playing the shell game with money you know certainly the last two and a half years i just the other day you know my visa bill is gonna come due in october and i said okay lord i just looked at the bank account and there will not be enough money in my bank account to cover that bill so lord what what needs to happen with that how's that gonna how's that gonna work so yeah i know i'm i know i'm not the only uh not the only one within that so but it is amazing that in the middle of all that like when i first met you and heard you know pieces of your story in the middle of all that time of like god never left you destitute even yeah although it's felt and i've had these moments like it felt like god what what you know like many of us in different stages of our life have felt this and it's like what do we do what do we do and it's amazing you look back and you're like how how how did i survive yeah how and you know how did i how did i step out of bed you know and that's i just want to honor you in that too jennifer like you you're rising up and i see great things this year like i see god just aligning you and bring you know um more of your tribe like i i've shared last week i went to the wrong place and not my tribe you know [Laughter] i woke up in the morning and i was like i think those people didn't like me it was like oh that's rejection never by seeing the righteous forsaken yes there's a ray yes yes no no it actually blows me away so many people in my life situations that seem hopeless like and yet god protects and provides and brings them through it may not feel like you don't stick sometimes you feel like you drag behind a car no more you know right how many times am i the disciple on the boat going dude hello wake up do you not you not see what's going on here it's windy hello you know and as many times as i go through that the next time i'm still the disciple on the boat why ah celebrate devin's gonna get her income tax back hallelujah [Applause] i'm trying to get caught up from when the crash happened in 2008 you know you know what's bad when the tax man comes to your door it looks like you know no uh you okay like you're like no i'm not okay but i don't want to see you again long time yeah so it's a journey and i know that um you just keep you know i wrote down here that you you keep stepping up and not giving up that was what i mean that's what i i heard you know um that you you just keep stepping up and and god just keeps bringing you know those pieces and it may seem like i was watching this movie where the teacher paces the kids who run you know and they were getting angry all the parents are angry but then they end up winning the turn because they don't get tired in running too fast so there's this like there's this pacing right so this is yeah i've never thought of this you know and and so the speed that you're going at right you know like that's important is how god has created you to go at that and to walk through it each of us in whatever we're going through and so i know that you're bringing all those and you're learning like the stuff online like she's she's learning all the stuff to bring together and when it's just getting that aha moment so we just pray that in jesus name because god aligns you with some people that you know resonate with travel and that partner partner because you have something unique you know we have travel we have travel um you know people who do travel what they call them agents but you're different you're an educator you're a person who's not just wanting to book travel but experience travel experience you know an adventure experience something to come alongside that with education that and all the people i've met and i've met a lot because you know i'm very like you're kind of you need to come out of your shell just a little bit yeah you'll get there you'll get there [Music] so i see that you're bringing a really a niche right you're bringing something that not everybody's doing you know and christine says slow and steady wins the marathon and it's not giving up but you're getting there you're getting there and it's a pacing like i have to look up the word pace because i believe is important there's something about pacing yourself and we're around all these people rah-rah-rah you know and i went out with my friend the other night and i can't remember the name of what the condition that she has physically she was like incapacitated for 12 years basically got into a wheelchair god's healed her through her emotional healing and spiritual generation her body got healed and her her ligaments wouldn't work but there's a certain name she tells me that when she went online it's our testimony all these people start coming out of the woodwork that have the same wow condition she just had to speak right so i i think that's good for all of us to think about like we need to share that's why i'm doing these interviews but i think again what i was saying before about that you know we need that uh we need the mirror thank you for praying for me for building me thank you i appreciate that i'll take it um you know we need that mirror for someone else to say that that has value right because i think sometimes we don't speak because we either think we're the only ones or that it doesn't matter or because we're so much in the middle of our own lives right like you only know what it's like to live in your own skin you know so it's hard to yeah until someone else goes oh yeah me too you go what wow what has god impressed on your heart for this ending the 2020 these last few months other than paying that visa bill you know like i'm sure it is on his i would just like to know that it's a little bit higher on his priority list that would be our god did you put that up there um just checking we got the post-it note on your desk lord it's right there thank you father well i've heard you share on lives and you you carry such uh presence and professionalism and i've even seen you do hot seat like just speak out and and you know what you you want to say and so i feel like god's showing you some things looks like over here like god's showing you some things in the season um to step into do you want to share some of that or is that uh sure yeah the last last week was crazy like if y'all weren't hearing from god a week ago wednesday it's because he was like talking to me from sun up to sunset so yeah it was like it was one of those days you know where do you feel that way you know god is always there you're hearing things and it's just sort of going along right and then all of a sudden one day it's like he cracks the top of your head and goes blah you know and that was kind of the yeah that was kind of the day i had part of that was through the call with the inner healing session online and just some things god said to me through that he gave me some information about part of my identity and i needed that i really need it and i've been asking him for just a tangible reminder you know lord i know you are there every day i know you're always talking to me but i could just use some tangible you know words something and yeah so he started that morning with i was listening to something by graham cook about uh fruit of the spirit and strength and gentleness so he starts talking to me about that i can't even remember have to go back and look at all my notes of what he was saying about that and then he brought a memory to me about my mom and my parents were older when i was born my mom was 25 my dad was 28 and i was born in 1965 so they were old back then that was you know and they had been married oh no she was um that was when they got married she was 32 when i was born and they they'd tried for seven years before i was miracle wow and i don't know why this this was god brought this to mind and because i've been trying to just process a little bit more and just grieve this bit a little bit more about not being married and not having kids and it was like it just popped into my mind i'm like well lord if you did that for my mom you can do it for me now i'm not physically going to give birth unless we have some other like you know supernatural marine circle going on um that ship has sailed but you know what does that look like right this this hope for some sort of family and children and heritage going forward for me in specifically yeah my family not just niece and nephew but me right and yeah my parents had tried for a long time they were on the list to adopt a baby boy who i think would have been about a year old when my mom got pregnant and back then you had to take your name off the list and so they did and yeah and i was like okay lord you answered that for my mom my mom doesn't share a whole lot she's not a super sherry we just don't have that kind of clo we're close but not i don't know her intimate thoughts kind of thing so but that was something and so then later on we're on this call where she's leading us through an inner healing session and asks us questions and things and the lord told me about an experience i had in australia which is like totally unrelated i'm like yeah i remember that it was hilarious and i if you don't enough time i don't have time to tell you the whole story but he basically puts me in this place i wanted to go to this the soccer the world cup soccer i couldn't find anybody go with me i've only been in country six months i don't know anyone you know no one would go with me so when sad little american girls on the tram it's so full i i can't even catch a tram to get home i wind up on the wrong tram and i am like where's like smashed in like sardines because everybody else is going to the soccer and i'm not and so i'm you know shy person i am oh who are you you're going to the game you know and i wind up talking to this guy and he goes he's like yeah meet my friends and blah blah blah we get off the tram and he goes well i think we might have space to go if you think you want to go wow like all right and i can tell he's he's walking and he's he's looking backwards at me and he's doing this he's talking to his friend on the phone and i can tell he's like yeah i met this american girl can she come you know he's talking his friends on the phone right and uh so i wind up where they ended up the melbourne cricket ground is in melbourne and it's one of world famous places to go see sport and see see played if you live in melbourne you you you just bleed like you know this is their their place right and there's a private club that's part of that called the melbourne cricket club i did not know this at the time so this is where i end up it's a private club his friend ben who was had the table at this his dad put his name on the list for membership the day he was born so he's in his 30s and this is the first time he's he's been there i am here i'm sitting at a table with like 10 men and me watching soccer in this exclusive club so i'm like i'm trying to call my friends the only two people i know like you're never gonna believe where i'm at you know and i can't get a hold of anybody and i was just like lord you are so funny like it was just it was a full-on gift right there's no was no learning in it there was no lesson there was no here's how you become more like jesus kind of thing in it you know just flat out hilarious right and so last week in this call god brings this to mind and because i just laughed i like giggled that night and he goes well he said he goes well do you know you know how you felt like you know when i gave you that thing and just how much fun that was to give that to you and how much fun you had and i said yeah he goes that's how i felt when i gave you to your parents how long they had waited and how that's how they felt so giddy and excited and i could see this image of god holding me as a baby wrapped up in this little blanket i mean him just looking at me and so excited he's like i'm so excited i can't wait and just a thrill for him to give me to my parents and the word that came along with that then was you are long-awaited one and it showed me i needed it in all of this that has been going on for so long you know it just man the world just can beat the snot out of you some days you know and i needed the reminder so god gives me this reminder he ties it to these totally unrelated events he tells me something about my mom and my parents right he connects sort of all these there's no other way anybody could have connected that right and reminds me of what a joy i am um how desired i was by them but that he knew me and loved me at that level so much fun for him to give me you know and yeah so i guess in terms of what's on my heart and my mind has been that and out of that came up a bit of a prophetic word that i need to share with my mom i think why he told me about her birth was and my birth was my parents are 87 and 90 because they're much older for again for my age um and we're having to talk about them moving out of their home and what that looks like and my mom said something to me i it was just sort of like i just never you never think about that it's going to come to this she doesn't want to leave her home she's been there 40 years we're trying to figure out what does all of this look like right so because she doesn't she's not emotional she doesn't share that a lot for her to say that was a big deal you know and so i feel like out of this thing last week was god's word that i can speak to her you know mom do you remember when this happened when i was born just as god knew then he understands now he knows you my parents don't walk with with god in the same way so yeah i'm praying about right time and place so i guess out of all of that it's just remembering that god is present um for all of us right and even if you're don't you don't feel like you're currently hearing from god remember he is always there he is always present there is always something going on he is always in control and yeah wow that's kind of like that those moments that's like that's so precious did you write it down too did you mark i've got i've got part of it i need to just go back like because there was so much yeah to write all of that down yeah and another image i think two days later about walking a tightrope and just staying focused i think we are in a massive season of transition right now you know is and i think part the other i have a couple of images the one i had just the other day was about the church rising up and i could see like those of us as believers like this with our muscles but there's a band you know around your arm and as we're rising we're getting stronger it's like boom and the muscles just get bigger and expand and that band just blows off our arms right and and i think for me there was some release some breaking off of chains out of that but i think from it was also about the rest of the church and this is who we need to be and this is what i am praying right now of you know lord grow us up make us strong build our endurance build our strength keep us focus on this not what's on the television not who's running for office not not pandemic none of it none of it none of it matters this is all that matters because there is a bigger picture get revelation out and read it again christ is the one who is worthy to open the scroll it is only because he was on the cross that he is therefore the only one worthy to open the scroll and if he does not open the scroll nothing changes so that is all significant it is all it is all common and we we need to rise up i need to keep just staying pressed in right god told me that in this last month to like a workhorse yes same one i've had it's like the blinders on a horse you gotta you gotta let go of the things that are not in this that you know this is the way you know it says whether you go to the left or right you'll hear a voice behind you saying this is the way we really walk in it and i have to not like i have sent me you guys too this information and i don't watch it unless i feel i'm actually sending people the uplifting like land of house you know or you know these messages and also they look at my message i'm like oh what like really putting our hearts to hear from him and i feel like that will lead us to where we need to be to be strength because we don't want to walk in fear you know this is um desiree yeah we'll pray for you too and and um this is something that i heard from god this last um question here like it's interesting he just said to be or not to be that is the question does that mean anything to you is that shakespeare who said that yeah but i just heard it tonight when i was writing the question god just said to be or not that is the question but don't you think that's that's the question facing the church right now yeah who are we going to be who are we going to believe i think and yeah i think a reminder of you know who do i want to become when i get to the end i think the hard part is things i think that we want for our lives myself included and can i really just let all of that go as lana vazor said just take her blueprint she put her blueprint on the table and just laid it all out and was like okay whatever you want to do with my calendar for 2020 is what she was talking about wow and lana when you get a word from her because all of us most of us if you don't know go look her up lanabowser.com e v-a-w-s-e-r but um it's interesting i was saying how we all cry or laugh we have such different lives i can read a word just like that's for me right it's the exact same word and we read it differently filter i really appreciate what you've shared jennifer and you are you're a really empowering woman and you carry a lot of strength and you're a leader and i don't even think you realize because of your journey um the strength that you do have like when i've heard you talk on the lives and stuff like even in a hot seat or speak out on the zoom i've never spoken on a zoom like when i see all the spaces like people think i'm so bold but i'm actually quite shy in that and you carry a strength of speaking that um i just i just want to bless you in that um for this next season like people need to hear what you have learned experienced and what god's put within you like you shared tonight and i think as you step as you step up and don't give up don't break that down step up don't give up yeah step on that that could be your challenge right there that sounds like a hook right there step up don't give up i need a hook for my challenge but that's another conversation probably what was doom on that one yeah and you know i have all my mixture of friends here you know beautiful women of god and and you know naomi's saying this so encouraging you that you're you say the mirror you don't know that your story like i was telling someone today and dm like you said there's something i've never shared with people and sharing with me i felt so honored and i said everyone needs to hear this because they'll realize that god brought you through and without god you wouldn't have been able to stop this or you know change this like he literally change the trajectory of her life you know and the reasons behind it were grief and i've been hearing that in the last month people who got caught in something that was shaming a lot of times it came from already trauma or grief right and so god did not i don't know about you but this whole season i feel like everyone's getting exposed like it's like i'll be like what you know things are getting exposed of what's behind and what's in someone's character or lack of character myself included where's my heart like you know talking about the church again it's like i've had i wrote three people last night and said hey i'm not comfortable with i said in a nice loving way but i'm like that's not horrible for me like this is not normal but god says you have to you have to set those boundaries yeah and that heart you have to stand having done all this to stand and i want to run i want to not be i don't want to deal with that i like oh that's just them no god said you need to tell them and i don't like that i'm not comfortable with that but i don't really like that either i had one of those conversations a few weeks ago where yeah and it's not normal but it's going to become the normal because if i love you and i care about you why would i watch you do something that would make other people judge you or you know me judge you or set you apart over there that you're like you're blinded to why wouldn't i tell you in love right right you know yeah what i said to this person was if i didn't care about you and this other person was a believer in particular i said we wouldn't even be having this conversation this was about business and whether or not i hire or not hire or do business with someone you know yeah like there are plenty other people i can call but because i care about you and i want you to succeed i need to tell you how this came across to me yeah and i hurt her feelings i know i did and that was not my intent and if someone had said to me what i said even as nicely as i thought i said it i would have been in tears too it would have totally like hurt my feelings yeah but you know what happens when it hurts your feelings because a lot of people have hurt my feelings lately and i feel like god's exposing my heart so that i will set boundaries yeah because either i didn't set boundaries for myself or i didn't set boundaries for them and i had expectations that were not um justified or they didn't deserve or vice versa right and so god is exposing everything that needs to be exposed so we can have full healed hearts to carry the the mission that we are called to and i believe that's i look at you and see that jennifer you know like many people will crumple like they'll they'll fall down and and no like you know a lady said the other day 83 of people don't have a vision wow like this it says 14 have the vision in their head and 3 write it down 8 of people actually do the vision this is a statistic someone's read and that really hit me the other day because i thought do i want to be a person without a business without a vision people perish so what is like god's given you a vision he's given me a vision he's given these lovely ladies here a vision so as we're ending tonight uh would you like to pray for um this very thing you know just whatever god leads yeah i was thinking i might find the scripture that i was reading yesterday the other thing i was thinking about have you ever read anything by brene brown she's secular writer she's a believer but mostly secular she's a social worker researcher and she researches on the topic of shame and vulnerability if you've not seen it she's got a ted talk on vulnerability on netflix but some of her books are so good like i read her and i'm just like oh like it's just so good and in one of her books um called daring greatly she quotes um roosevelt who was president when 1920s something like that theodore roosevelt was president of the us then speech he gave in paris at the sarban um and it i'll see if i can find it i'll post it in the group but it's about it's called the man in the arena it's basically about you know there's no no judgment there's no vote sort of like whoever belongs to the critic who's sort of standing on the sidelines but everything belongs to the man who is in the arena even though face down marred by mud and dirt and blood and sweat and it's about for me it's about being in the arena so even what you're saying about all good naomi you listen to her read on brene brown man she just she's great um yeah we all know her like that that's who i want to be right there's something about how she words things and she is very raw she's vulnerable she's real and she talks about this is our path to getting reconnected as people and to being courageous the only way to courage is through vulnerability you're going to have to go like this and like your heart's going to be like whoop and it's going to be scary and we're going to have to grow up and own our own our emotions and our hurts you know and of course for us as believers god is the source of that right the holy spirit is the one and of course god is so gentle he just he's like hello darling i think we might let's just look at this little thing over here right you know he's so gentle and so kind but it is about to be or not to be what what is it about what do i want my life to look like and who do i want to be which side of the line right and blah i would rather be the one i want to be the one in the arena painful as it is i just don't like it in the middle of it right i don't think anybody does you're like great i'm becoming christ like yay you know where my heart gets hurt because i'll be doing really well and then there'll be something so shocking but it when then then 24 hours later when you'll just wait 24 hours and then when you look back and you're like why did that even bother me like it's not even in my right it's like squirrel squirrel you know squirrel and i'm learning but it's doing right it's a it's just the way god goes hey another little thing let me just attend to this you know and you're like when do i just get to the point where it's not like yeah i wonder i wonder if it have i'm asking god build it i'm 51 almost 52 come on god when can i get to that place like people told me that it's possible not to get offended yeah i know no i'll i'll see if i can find this so the one the scripture that i was reading the other night i woke up in the middle of night with my brain just you know too many things and stressing about stuff and you can't just like tell yourself to be peaceful right like come on let's be peaceful that's very peaceful it doesn't work though you know but he took me to philippians 1 ephesians 1 and also out of isaiah 9. this is one of the lies that i did and isaiah 9 talks about and about the coming of christ and of his government and of his peace there will be no end and so i guess if i could just speak that out over all of us tonight and out of ephesians 1 8 this super abundant grace is already powerfully working in us releasing within us all forms of wisdom and practical understanding and because verse 10 and because of god's unfailing purpose this detailed plan will reign supreme through every period of time until the fulfillment of all the ages finally reaches its climax when god makes all things new in all of heaven and earth through jesus christ so i guess to just speak that out over us tonight and just to pray that for all of us lord that you would just help us to keep um being clay in your hands lord will you just remind us and just help us god give us the strength um to just let go and to remember you are sovereign god i am so grateful that your government and your peace will be no end and that is exactly what is happening right now no matter what we see happening in finance pandemic marriage um any of it lord your government and your peace will have no end and you have a detailed plan this is what your word says right here right now you have a very detailed plan and it reigns supreme and you are lord over all of it you are lord of our lives god i just ask lord for your grace that you will help us just to surrender all those parts of us all the blueprints that we have god all these things on even our hurts or that we'll just be willing to let you just come in and make all of that new because your word says here lord that uh even in our struggle and things that we don't understand as we fight and paul talks about being imprisoned in his his struggling with that and what's happening even within all of that that is testimony this brings glory god this is your plan you have a plan it is to reign you will come again and you will open that scroll and you are going to make all things new and until then we are your plan thank you god that you choose to work with us god you love us enough and you give us purpose and place and i s ask lord tonight for anyone who is still working on their purpose their place wondering how it all fits together i ask lord that you will speak very clearly that you will give them a very clear specific word about their purpose their place their identity their role god what you are calling them to do lord about wounds you are healing in them and uh we thank you lord right now tonight for your super abundant grace that is already powerfully working in us that it is releasing within us all forms of wisdom and practical understanding god you equip us and you enable us to do all things that you need done for your plan lord there is a bigger plan there is a bigger purpose and i am so grateful for that right now and um we just give you praise and glory and thanks for all of that uh in jesus name amen and we just lift up every woman that's on here god and thank you for what their concerns and their needs are god i thank you that you are touching their lives thank god that you just open them up and pour in your truth your revelation your love your peace in jesus name thank you for jennifer thank you for the new season that you have been stepping or into even these last few months just stretch stretch but god you're building muscles and god i'm excited for when she gets that aha and got all this is preparation time to get to the place where we're like okay i can do this okay i got this and get excited so god i just thank you for those downloads i thank you for the verses that you've given her wow how profound god thank you for heart to heart hub thank you god for the vision of me for this group of women and god i just pray that even the women who have never come on to watch live but i know they care about me god and i care about them they're incredible women every one of these women in this group um we lead busy life so god i know you bring the ones who can and god some can watch later some can't but it's okay god because you have a plan and god you lead us to what we need and so i thank you for faithfulness i thank you for obedience for each of us and we just get excited for this is the coming into october here the 10th month what is it oh 1 10 20 20. so god thank you for today thank you for right back at you this was fun tonight thank you just for the privilege of coming and yeah this was good i was honored to have you too so we'll we'll have that zoom call okay anybody with free time who would like to solve someone else's problems i've got a list and we'll meet tomorrow why would you set up a schedule all this stuff our own zooms can you come help me today like they used to do in school at least when i was growing up you know you would like write down all your you know stuff on the paper and then you would like pass your purse paper to the person on the left and they would grade your paper that's what i would like to do because sometimes it's easier to solve someone else's stuff you just write it down submit it and there's a good idea for you trade papers with someone else something you could start with it could look different but there's something there well maybe everybody would look at their own paper and be like oof i want my own paper back my own saying house all of yours it feels called mine right i love you so much i'm i'm just every time i finish my interview the day seems so stressful my tuesdays and thursdays you guys have no idea and i'm learning about asking questions because i take it really um seriously christine says i'm in let's do it so every time i finish my interviews i feel filled up and i feel like god meets me and he just he shares with me everyone else's journey and story it just blesses me and so oh thank you she says yes we do too um that's desiree and so god thank you that you show even when it feels like why or how but god you show up and thank you for each person that came on tonight and i just pray god for whatever connections need to happen god that you will do what you do best and that we won't run after what's not on our connection with you that will hear holy spirit go this way go that way we'll hear your voice in your precious name jesus amen amen right you guys have a good night bye
