okie dokie i'm coming at you coming oh lord we're just gonna commit i'm coming at you live from my laptop so that way i can show you how to do your designs on like how i do my designs okay so you're gonna go to this is really hard i don't know how to screen grab or screen record things on the laptop so we're just gonna do this hopefully the image doesn't get all crazy we're gonna go to canva.com so there you go you're gonna create your design hello all of my designs are popping up i'm gonna have i'm gonna have to blur that or something so that way y'all don't see almost stiff so out of my way honey unless you want to sponsor me then that's cool too so we're going to go to create a design and then custom size i always go to 4x4 inches because that's my hoop size go to 4x4 inches and this works on all different cases so like if you want to just use canva to make your design go for it you know they have a bunch of different little tools here like you can have let's see i used a bike a stop sign they give you a lot of different things i always like to tweak them a little just so that way it's not obviously like exact replica of what canva is giving me but i guess you could i don't know probably shouldn't that probably wouldn't be a best idea but you know you do you anyways so there's my 4x4 i put my text on there or whatever i want let's see yeah you can text there's a bajillion different fonts and sizes and everything you can go to photos where you can add your own photos say if you drew your design you can do this too so if you draw a design you just have to upload it and then it'll pop up here and you can upload your media hi there's me i don't want to i wanted to do something with a selfie and now it's there we'll see like i have my cupid on there my little money bag sign and then i just put it on here i move it around a little bit or adjust it so that way it works out in my favor after that you just go to download i suggest png just like they said my design is empty so it's not happening but if there was something there then i go to png and then i just download you don't need to get i know canva is gonna be like get the whatever for like five dollars or something or whatever canva pro you do not need canva pro unless you see something that you like so sometimes there's an element that you may like or there's a photo that you may like but you can't use it because you have to pay money for it you can pay to just have that one picture or one element if you want but yeah you wouldn't have to buy like the whole canva pro so after you're done with that you're gonna go over here all my stuff is there yet again i'm gonna deploy every single thing yet again but you want so art 64. so r64 is what i use to actually make my designs or actually like make the like file of the design so let's say i want what can we open that then i haven't already used or you know what we could probably just use something that i already have used let's go to my downloads um what's this no let's not do the moon all right we'll do the cupid one so this one is already 4x4 but usually it makes it bigger on here so what you do is you go to resize image see it's at 4.02 if you do this on the brother or whatever it's going to be like nope start over it's too big so i just do it at 3.98 i can't do it on my numbers lock over here 3.98 just a couple of inches a couple inches smaller and then afterwards you go to image wizard after you do image wizard what you want to do is make sure that it's as tiny like as less colors as possible because if you have too many colors obviously it's not going to work out when you're doing your embroidery because you don't have a bajillion different colored thread you know so with this one it's literally all just going to be black thread for mine just because i'm going to take out the pink so we'll just keep doing this and make sure the thing doesn't start getting like really distorted because then also your image is going to look crazy like my whole thing just vanished so i want two colors finish that then i'm going to go here to stitch image auto sew image and you want sew all colors i've been done sewing all the colors then i don't want any of the pink so i'm just going to click on there delete the color anything i don't want you delete it delete delete delete get rid of all that stuff okay then you go to file save as and then i like keeping it in my um it's not here not in my downloads i have a special like folder okay so at home embroidery you want it to be a bmp see that's why all the ones popped up i'm gonna save it and then afterwards it's gonna pop up again and then that's the one that you're gonna want and that's gonna be pes i believe i don't wanna do it here because i already have this one saved sure we'll save it again um yep see brother p-e-s and then you save it again and then these are the ones the ones with the little um paint what are these called anyway the ones with these little image those are the ones that you're going to save onto a memory stick if you have the type of brother machine that i have you put it onto a memory stick and then you put it into your machine and then you got your design and then it should be all good you may have to adjust your colors whatever on the actual thing but that's only for you if you want to just in case you don't like mess up the color or whatever you're like oh my god i use this color instead of that one blah blah blah okay so i just realized that i just immediately went to sewart64 onto my laptop because i already had it on there but i got it off of sanscomputing.com that's where i got it i'm just saying i'm just saying i got it there i'm not saying you should buy it there but that's where i got it and yes you do have to buy it and yeah they do give you the option of actually getting the cd or if you want it just um you know just downloading it and yeah as well like that i got the email download you add it to your cart and yeah there's a download button below oh my gosh what is happening yeah yeah check it out okay so if you want they have a 30 day demo so if you want to just test it out see if it is what you want or maybe it's not what you want but for me i think this is the best option and the cheapest option because especially with this whole pandemic situation everything that's like for the brother embroidery machine is so unbelievably expensive so i think this is the cheapest way to do it so like i said they give you a 30 day demo do not update it during the demo those because then if you do that you're going to lose those 30 days so do the 30 days fully and then afterwards then you can go ahead and you can buy it but yeah that's pretty much it yep
