Overview

This document explains how to access Blackboard at Rasmussen University, including login steps, multi-factor authentication (MFA), technical requirements, and privacy information.

Blackboard Login Process

  • Use the Main Login page to access Blackboard via your institutional account.
  • Local login requires your username and password.
  • You can also log in using a third-party account (Rasmussen ADFS).

Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) Setup

  • Download an authenticator app such as Microsoft Authenticator, Google Authenticator, or Authy.
  • Open the app and scan the QR code or copy the provided key to set up your account.
  • Enter the 6-digit temporary code from your app to associate it with your account.
  • After setup, a login code will be required each time you log in, especially on new devices.
