first go to Google Chrome and search for YouTube by the way the reason you want to do this like look at my channel analytics I have a channel that I just started posting I I revived it I just started as an affiliate is is a way to make extra money okay or all your money and quit your job okay so what you want to do is go to Google Chrome and search for YouTube all right this is how to start a YouTube channel so I'm just going to go I got Google Chrome up here and I'm just going to search for YouTube right and here's YouTube right so and what you're going to do coming back to the instructions you're going to click the YouTube homepage right so boom I click it I just had to log into a different Google account account so I can show you this because if we go to Google here creating a personal Channel when you basically click on your profile picture click add or manage your channels I'm not seeing that if you see that in your country then great and we come back to to here you then select create a channel for me what I'm seeing is that when I click here it's um YouTube studio is that is what I have to click there's no create channel here so I click YouTube studio and then it's it's saying hey how you're how you will appear and it says create channel so here what I'm going to do this is where you can enter your name and your handle okay name I'll just put for now how you'll appearer select picture and the handle so here I'll just say something like let's go bio hacks for woman over 40 to lose well that's the whole name um bi hacks woman over 40 I could put my real name like MGA Dallas but because this might be a faceless Channel I might just do it this way so buy a haoman over 40 um so that's pretty good so I'm going to hit create channel and I don't know if I can add in more now it doesn't allow me to so it has a limit bioh hacks woman over 40 so create channel all right so it's creating the channel pretty cool huh and welcome to YouTube Studios so hit continue and now what the heck do we do here right now your new channel is created you initially have zero subscribers and no videos obviously and to manage your channel go to YouTube Studio we can adjust settings and track progress so in case you're wondering how how do we make money on this well to be eligible for the YouTube Partner program and monetize your content you need to meet the following criteria 1,000 subscribers and 4,000 watch hours in 365 days or 10 million shorts views in 90 days in case you have any further questions about YouTube mon monetization you can go to chat gbt and also ask here's the eligibility requirements as well okay also let you it wants you to have two-step verification on your account and you must follow YouTube's monetization policy but again what I highly recommend is to sell digital products and coaching or become an affiliate sell other people's digital products and coaching and you can watch my video there so we're going to come back to the how to right so what to manage your YouTube channel this is where you can adjust settings and track progress so let's kind of come back here so typically like I don't want to upload a video yet never do that like when you're ready to launch your channel have at least two long form videos and three short videos ready to be uploaded as an example but what you can do here is like if you click the earn button it tells you how you can become a partner like ways to earn watch page ads short feed ads memberships Etc really cool right and Creator support and tools like Facebook wants you or sorry not Facebook YouTube wants you to make money so how do you join you reach these requirements to apply and you want to turn on twostep verification as well so you turn that on and go so you'll be redirected to this so I'm not going to going to do that right now I just want to tell you to go do that because you just follow the instructions pretty easy and then you click customization here and this is where you get to add your banner image right you can go to a free tool called canva to create this for you you upload your picture here and then your channel name right and if you hover over the question mark you can ask see what it says to learn more okay and then your handle so see you can kind of change your handle before you your channel you can do that description so you want to fill in the description here and you know what your channel URL you can change this soon to be a little bit easier than this as well your unique Channel ID you can add links and any contact info all right
