jacket proves once again that he knows the streets like the back of his hand this isn't his first rodeo having previously outmaneuvered local law enforcement on three separate occasions he's become a notorious figure among the police determin not to let him slip through their fingers this time the officers give it their all yet despite their expert driving the suspect manages to widen the Gap thrilling car chases that have made Brazil a favorite backdrop for Hollywood filmmakers but in the end the outcome is all too familiar for the fourth time The elusive suspect manages to escape leaving the police frustrated and the chase unresolved in the early morning of January 24th 2021 a routine traffic stop quickly escalated into a high-speed Pursuit a silver Ford Mustang bearing a tag registered to a different vehicle caught the attention of an officer as it swerved within its Lane when the officer initiated the stop the driver hesitated staring through the side mirror before suddenly speeding away [Music] 663 108 Grand stops on turn left on Main Street the chase led the vehicles through multiple intersections ignoring stop signs and traffic lights with the Mustang reaching speeds over 100 mph in residential zones light 14 andoss over [Music] I [Music] for thank [Music] you 1050 the pursuit finally ended when the Mustang veered off the road and into a wooded Patrol in Baxley turned into a high stakes Pursuit officer observed a black Nissan Armada with the driver later identified as Bernard Gary McQueen not wearing a seat belt when the officer attempted to initiate a traffic stop McQueen immediately sped away weaving through city streets and running stop signs all right we going to be making a left here the H left on the homestead coming up on street now hey do you have any units nearby we're running from the chase escalated as McQueen pushed his vehicle to over 100 mph on State Route 15 recklessly driving on the wrong side of the road and forcing other vehicles off the highway [Music] allic about 4 miles behind SL SL SL slow SL SL 789 what's your [Music] location going [Music] [Music] [Music] with the pursuit nearing the congested area of black sheir the officer made the critical decision to employ the Precision immobilization technique pit to prevent further Danger [Music] near Moore Street the pit was executed successfully causing McQueen's vehicle to roll several times before coming to rest McQueen immediately fled on foot into a nearby wooded area but was quickly apprehended by the officer and two Black Shear police officers [Laughter] [Music] [Laughter] [Music] upon his capture it was evident McQueen was under the influence with a strong odor of alcohol and slurred speech a search of his vehicle revealed several small bags of a green leafy substance a grinder with residue a bag of pills and and a Glock pistol McQueen a convicted felon wanted for aggravated assault with a firearm in Florida was taken into custody and transported to the Appling County Detention Center without further [Music] incident on the date and time listed a high-speed chase on Interstate 545 unfolded with DTF Commander Chad Henson in pursuit of a fleeing [Music] suspect face at the carway exit as the pursuit approached the Caraway Road overpass another officer joined the chase taking over as the primary pursuer the suspect identified as subject one recklessly sped Northbound at over 100 mph weaving between vehicles and using the shoulder to pass motorists passing under the Harrisburg exit 110 light [Music] traffic passing on the shoulder speed still 100 coming up to the Southwest Drive EX Fe to 110 going underneath overpass the towest drive I said he's taking the Southwest Drive exit exiting the interstate at Southwest Drive the officer closed in as the suspect attempted to flee through local streets as they approached the intersection at Alexander Drive the officer executed a tactical vehicle intervention County Detention Center facing numerous charges including felony fleeing in a vehicle I don't know his dat of birth his ID's in the car is what he said I'll get it here in a sec sir I can't breathe on September 6th 2023 in Sherwood Arkansas's the Sherwood Police Department responded to aort report of a vehicle stolen from a Hospital parking lot upon locating the vehicle they initiated a Pursuit from a family member and was experiencing a mental health crisis [Music] while on patrol in shasi County Sergeant Bon pursued a silver Ford Fusion fleeing from law enforcement at over 100 mph on I69 Trooper Sheldon was ready to deploy Stop Sticks the driver rammed Burton's vehicle who then forced the Ford into the grassy median and performed a pit maneuver 76 I got eyes on you he's on the right Hardy was arrested with the help of Deputy Burns and Trooper Sheldon a loaded handgun drugs a digital scale and cash were found in the vehicle party was handed over to Trooper blackand lodged in the Clinton County Jail no injuries were reported during their Patrol police received a report of a stolen police car the pursuit was challenging due to potential misunderstandings by other drivers police
