satnam I'm Yogi gems I'm a Kundalini yoga teacher I would say that the most important thing in this lifetime is to remember who we truly are which is not this body not this name not this physical identity it's an extraordinary light it's a Divine being it's infinite it's capable of everything and when we get embroiled in this physical reality in this body in this name we tend to forget this beautiful extraordinary light that shines at our very essence today's Kundalini Yoga kriya just kind of wipes all of that away so we are given the opportunity to really return to ourselves it's a meditative career really lovely fun career I love this one so I hope you enjoy it bring the Palms together give them a good rub bring your prayer mudra Into the Heart Center take a nice deep inhale as you lengthen tall through the spine keep that length as you exhale and drop the shoulders away from the ears inhale deep to lift the chest keeping the chest lifted as you exhale draw the chin in towards the neck and let's inhale to tune in with our mantras if you're new to the mantras just listen in until you get the hang of them ONG ONG NAMO GURU DEV NAMO ONG NAMO GURU DEV NAMO ONG NAMO GURU invite your higher self to guide you through this Kundalini Yoga practice today will keep you safe from injury keep you protected and exhale relax the hands down to the knees in Gian mudra touching tips of index fingers to tips of thumbs just allowing those mantras to settle in the body good and we'll start off our Kundalini Yoga practice with a warm up through the spine a Sufi grind so holding on to the knees will inhale forward and around exhale back and around with a nice full deep breath inhaling forward and around exhaling back and around go at your own pace if you need to take this slower and deeper do so with a longer slower deeper breath the eyes are closed and rolled up and into the third eye point the arch near chakra that sits just above the eyebrows in the center of the forehead and we're very conscious of this movement through the spine we're really moving into our maximum in every direction so in this way we release any stagnancy from the physical spine and the energetic spine so we release any stagnancy from the chakras as well yeah on the next inhale when the heart comes forward change direction keeping that same breathing pattern of inhaling forward and around exhaling back and around the eyes remain locked into the third eye Point ajna chakra good and the awareness remains on this movement through the spine really moving the vertebrae in every direction to release stuck energy release anything that you can let go of before we start our Kundalini Yoga practice our Kundalini Yoga Kriya rather coming into the center now with a tall spine deep inhale and holding that breath in as you squeeze mulbandh that means you're squeezing anus and sex organs you're pulling the navel in and you're feeling sensing Imagining the energy moving from the tip of the tailbone all the way up the spine to the crown of the head hold that breath squeeze mulbandh stretch up tall as you raise the energy and exhale relax release Turn The Palms to face up and again touch tips of index fingers to tips of thumbs in Gian mudra just relax and come into awareness you'll immediately notice that the energy is starting to open up and activate in the body just witness how that feels inhaling deep exhaling fully good we're going to keep our hands in Gian mudra index fingers to thumbs navel pulls in for this one really strong in the navel as we inhale we twist to the left exhale twist to the right inhaling left exhaling right good keep the navel strong you want to create a real strong solid foundation for the base of the body here so everything from the waist down needs to be as solid as a rock the spine moves from the waist upwards and we're spiraling that energy up we're opening up the heart chakra anahata chakra and we're moving the energy from the lower chakras to the higher good a nice strong 90 degree angle in the elbows here keeping the upper arms parallel to the floor the forearms perpendicular keep a nice strong energy in the arms eyes locked into the third eye point coming into the center now with a deep inhale hold that breath in as you squeeze mulbandh squeeze the pelvic floor pull the belly in lift that energy up up up up up through the spine hold squeeze and exhale float your gyan mudra back down to the knees and again come back into that sense of presence observing how the energy has lifted up through the body is now in the upper centers observe how that feels as an expansion of consciousness inhaling deep exhaling fully so we'll move now into our Kundalini Yoga Kriya in Earnest it's the emotional fatigue Buster so we've got our right hand in Vulcan mudra so that's uh in baby fingers and ring fingers together and middle fingers and index fingers together and the thumb extends out if this is challenging just do your best and we've got our left hand very open with the fingers elbow tucks in and we're just going to start to sweep the hands in um out and in with an o-shaped mouth we make a breath that corresponds with the movement oh so it doesn't matter if you're inhaling out or exhaling out just breathe with the move with the breath good keep your spine long and Tall keep the shoulders relaxed keep the chin tucked in and the eyes are closed and rolled up and into our ajna chakra and we're just going to settle ourselves into the rhythm of this movement and this breath it's almost as if you're wiping the Slate clean here so we're kind of reversing all of those moments that we've become very involved in our external reality all of those moments where we've forgotten our true self our true Essence that extraordinary light of our being foreign that's it this is a very strong breath if you start to feel dizzy Just take uh some time out to sit quietly or you might want to slow it down do what works with your body listen to your body listen to your mind see what you need to keep going through this Kundalini Yoga kirya this is one of those wonderful rebirthing Kundalini Yoga kriyas that just takes us out of our normal conditioning it returns us to a remembrance of our Divine Essence our satnam Our Truth all right that's it you're doing really well stay with it stay with your Rhythm this is a lovely hypnotic movement a lovely hypnotic breath that pulls us out of the Mind pulls us out of the egos chattering and takes us deeper into the booty mind as it's known in yogic philosophy that's the universal mind it's a mind that sees all that is all that is at our truth at our essence that's it you're wiping away all those moments that you've not serviced your true self that you've not risen up to that Divine Light that is at your essence you're wiping clean all of those dramas those uh noisy repetitious thoughts that keep you from stepping into your full potential into your truth as a Divine human being like this is a very liberating Kundalini Yoga kriya we tend to become quite crystallized the more we march on through our life as we age we crystallize in certain belief patterns in certain behaviors in certain ways of being and there is nothing more aging so use this opportunity use this Kundalini Yoga kirya to wipe clear those crystallizations to white clear those areas of our life that we've become fixed in certain ways let's free ourselves let's wipe clear all of those times that we've held ourselves locked in when really we have the whole of the universe that infinite expanse of our being to explore in this short time on this planet that's it you're doing really well stay locked into this Rhythm locked into this meditation you'll notice an extraordinary amount of Prana coming in through this breath work and it's a very healing practice it reverses aging it heals the body on the inside and on the outside from your internal organs all the way out to the skin laughs now take a deep inhale through the nose we're gonna interlace our fingers and with the Palms pressing out we're going to lift the arms up interlace fingers Palms pushing up we're going to hold this breath as we squeeze mulbandh stretch up tall push the Palms up to the sky raise that energy up through the spine squeeze it hold it stretch up and holding this posture take a deep exhale through the nose and a deep inhale hold that breath in as you squeeze mulbandh stretch up tall through the spine raise up through the arms push the Palms the interlace fingers up towards the sky raise up squeeze and stretch that energy up hold it squeeze it lengthen and stretch holding the posture for one more time exhaling fully and taking our deep inhale hold that breath in squeeze more Bond and stretch stretch up the sides of the body stretch up through the spine stretch up through the arms stretch up into those interlaced fingers The Palms pushing up to the sky hold it squeeze stretch and exhale relax release and we're going to immediately start to wriggle and shake and dance that energy through the body remembering to breathe through the nose long slow and deep as you shake and wriggle that energy through so we're releasing ourselves we're liberating ourselves we're breaking ourselves free of any patterns any ingrained neuroses we're just shaking it all off shaking ourselves loose that's it remembering to breathe keep breathing as you shake and wriggle and dance yourself into being become the person that you were born to be shake that person shake that you into being that Divine soul that blueprint of your Soul's Destiny shake it shake it shake it shake it shake off anything that holds you back from stepping fully into that version of you that full glorious radio identity shake it shake it shake it that's it you're doing really well keep exploring new ways of shaking new ways of moving shaking your hands shaking your shoulders and your elbows shaking your head shaking your knees and your hips everything that you can possibly shake shake it in a multitude of ways that's it keep it going keep it breathing eyes are closed rolled up and into third eye point keep shaking yourself free shake it all up that's it good keep it going doing really well shake shake shake shake shake shake shake good shake shake shake shake shake shake don't let yourself up shake shake shake shake shake shake shake take a deep inhale stretch up hold squeeze and exhale float the hands down to the knees Gian mudra just take a few moments here to catch your breath and to feel your way into the extraordinary expansive energy that is opening up both within you and outside you feel the breath feel the body the heartbeat stay present with all of it step into your full presence take a deep inhale exhaling fully good now we are going to bring our Jupiter finger which is our index finger and our Saturn finger which is our middle finger to uh the thumbs and with this Mojo we're going to start to back stroke the arms so inhaling up and back exhaling down and forward that's it eyes closed or just let the breath do what it wants to do and we're just moving this energy through the auric field through the arc line which is our halo and with Jupiter we're bringing in the energy of expansion of beneficence of luck and prosperity and with Saturn we're bringing in the energies of patience of just a calm determination to commit to ourselves to our truth to our destiny that's it keep it going wiping clear your Halo wiping clear the outline that's it that's it good yes opening the armpits opening up the arms and the sides of the body and freeze inhale hold the breath squeeze mulbandh lift up tall and exhale relax and release now we're going to start to whistle so taking a deep inhale through the nose and exhale through a whistle-shaped mouth and if you're struggling to make that sound with the whistle then just keep your mouth in a whistle-shaped mouth and just blow the breath out through your whistle shape mouth the eyes rolled up and into the Ajna in the center of the brow activating pituitary gland the gland that corresponds with the Arginine with the third eye Point our intuition our inner knowing our inner Guru do your best laughs inhale deep hold the breath squeeze mulbandh exhale fully now we're going to start to chant the Mantra so do your best if you're new to the words of the Mantra ARDAS BHAEE AMARDAS GURU AMARDAS GURU ARDAS BHAEE RAM DAS GURU RAM DAS GURU RAM DAS GURU SACHEE SAHEE calls us to our destiny ardas guru ARDAS BHAEE AMARDAS GURU AMARDAS GURU ARDAS BHAEE RAM DAS GURU RAM DAS GURU RAM DAS GURU SACHEE SAHEE do your best if you don't know the words ARDAS BHAEE AMARDAS GURU AMARDAS GURU ARDAS gonna whistle out let's do that two more times inhale and final time now take a deep inhale through the nose hold that breath in as you squeeze tight through mulbandh pull in the navel and focus all of your attention at the navel at manipura Chakra that sits just under the belly button hold it squeeze it tight hold that breath in squeeze it consolidate all the energy of this kriya into this Dynamic Powerhouse this is the seat of your personal power consolidate it hold it there we'll do this three more times exhale fully through the nose deep inhale hold that breath squeeze mulbandh consolidate at the navel Point squeeze it tight hold it squeeze it consolidate it bring all of your being into this point of your personal power your self-esteem your self-confidence consolidate this energy there exhale fully and we'll do this one more time one more deep breath in hold that breath squeeze mulbandh pull the navel in and consolidate at manipura Chakra at the navel chakra this is the seat of your expression your determination it's your Saturn energy this is everything that you can bring into this lifetime through manipura chakra hold it squeeze it consolidate it in that chakra and exhale relax and release just take a few moments here feeling the glow of that Kundalini Yoga Korea in the body and we'll take a very short shavasana now just to help that energy integrate so come down to lying flat on the back starfish yourself out stretch your legs out stretch your arms out Palms open to the sky we're relaxing and releasing the toes and the feet heels and ankles relaxing and releasing calves and shins knees and thighs relaxing and releasing buttocks and groin pelvis and pelvic floor relaxing and releasing the belly the solar plexus the diaphragm relaxing and releasing ribs lungs and heart relaxing and releasing collar bones and shoulders upper back middle back lower back relax and release into the Earth relaxing and releasing upper arms and elbows forearms wrists hands fingers and thumbs relaxing and releasing neck and throat jaw teeth and tongue lips cheeks nose ears and eyes the whole of the face relaxes and releases relaxing and releasing the forehead and the scalp the skull and the Brain relaxing and releasing the whole of your being and your central nervous system and will rest here in Stillness and silence for just a minute longer and I will guide you out on the other side so for now just let go deep inhale exhalefully wriggling the fingers and the toes circling wrists and ankles first in One Direction and then in the other direction and gently turn the head from left to right stretch out the neck come back to the center take a deep inhale to stretch the arms up above the head point and flex the feet exhale bring the arms back down inhale right knee into the chest exhale it across the body to the left side turning the head in the opposite direction to the knee breathe into that twist inhaling to Center exhaling down inhaling left knee in exhaling it across the body to the right turning the head breathe into that twist inhaling to Center exhaling down inhaling both knees into the chest wrap the arms around the knees give yourself a big rock and a hug from side to side and coming back into the center bring the palms of the hands together soles of the feet together give them a good rub and then tuck the hands into the creases behind the knees and rock forwards and back up and down along the spine until you come all the way up to sitting tall in Easy pose with the hands in gear mudra on the knees spine is straight shoulders are relaxed chin tucks in eyes at third eye and just bring yourself into your heart center just for a moment feeling once more the extraordinary light of your being the extraordinary truth of your satnam let's bring our palms together and we'll close our practice with satnam take a deep inhale to chant SAT NAM love bringing the Palms to the floor allowing the forehead to follow as far as it will go offering your gratitude to body mind and breath for bringing you to this Yoga Today sending that gratitude out into your life as far as it will go and come back into the room whenever you feel
