boots banging concrete crackling these are our men repented at heart the scriptures is proof IUI we deliver the [Music] truth [Music] a [Music] the name of the class will be power in prayer power in prayer and what we got to understand is that we have to start praying to the Lord Lord often not just once a day not just once every other every other day or when we going through um tribulation in our life we supposed to be coming to the Lord daily constantly throughout the day so that we can do what understand that we are truly following what he want us to do go to Psalms 55 and verse um 17 Psalms chapter 55 and verse 17 The Book of Psalms 55:1 17 evening and morning and at noon will I pray and cry aloud and he shall hear my voice so you see what it say it say evening and morning and at noon will I pray so he gave you three times in which he prayed throughout one day three times that he that he prayed and what that what that ultimately do is bring you closer to God so watch this go to Daniel so we see one of our forefathers which was David he said three times I pray unto the Lord watch what Daniel did Daniel chapter 6 and verse 10 watch what Daniel did so David said he prayed three times a day he even gave you the times morning noon and at evening Daniel 6 and10 The Book of Daniel chapter 6 and: 10 now when Daniel knew that the writing was signed he went into his house and his windows being opened and in his chamber toward Jerusalem mhm he kneeled down upon his knees three times a day hold up how how often did Daniel pray three times a day uh-huh and prayed and gave thanks before his God when he prayed what did he do and gave thanks before his God as he did a four times so Daniel it said that he prayed three times a day and in his prayer he did what and gave thanks before his God as he did a four time and he gave thanks unto his God read the next verse in verse 11 then these men assembled and found Daniel praying and making supplication before his God what did they find Daniel doing then these men assembled and found Daniel praying and making supplication before his God and Daniel was found praying so this is one of the attributes of the wise men of the Bible they prayed often to God you had David we just read we just read about Daniel who prayed at least three times a day drop that go to Philippians 4 so now as you as you navigate throughout life one thing that you want to understand is you don't need to worry if you're too if you're truly in tune with God you're praying constantly throughout the day then you won't have to worry why because God loves when the righteous pray unto him but read that verse Philippians 4 start at verse 6 the book of Philippians 4 and: 6 be careful for nothing so when it's telling you to be careful for nothing it's saying don't worry about nothing now it's hard to do because we're in this flesh a lot of times when we start getting um going through trials going through tribulations we start to worry you understand but what God is telling us through Paul is what do what be careful for nothing be be don't don't worry go ahead but in everything by prayer and supplication so stop it said but in everything by prayer and supplication we just read two of our forefathers that were wise men Daniel and David they were praying to the Lord read but in everything by prayer and supplication with Thanksgiving with what with Thanksgiving giving thanks unto God we read that's what Daniel was doing read let your requests be made known unto God let your requests be made known unto God so whatever you find yourself going through don't worry about it pray to the Lord and then what let your request be made know to be made known unto God why because he care for you go now to 1 Peter chapter 5 1 Peter chapter 5 and start at verse 7 so it say whatever you going through don't worry pray to the Lord read that the book of 1 Peter chapter 5: 7 read casting all your care upon him for he carth for you so it says casting all your care upon him why because he car for you so if you pray to him and make your request known he's going to do what act on your behalf why because he cares for you that's your father he created you watch this go now to Second eus 14 2 ezas 14 start at verse 14 watch what Ezra say the book of 2 ezas chapter 14 and verse 14 let go from thee Mortal Thoughts uhhuh Cast Away the burdens of man put off now the weak nature read and set aside the thoughts that are most heavy unto thee how are you going to be able to set aside the thoughts that are word you that are heavy on your spirit you must go to the Lord you must make your request known unto God and based upon you doing that he care for you and if you keeping his Commandments he's going to act on your behalf read it again verse 15 and verse 15 and set aside the thoughts that are most heavy unto thee uhhuh and haste the to flee from these times and haste thee to flee from these times 1 John 3:22 so now you're going through tribulation you going through trials in your life right so God is telling you listen pray he's just using the prophets he actually speak through the prophets so now he's telling you through them hey whatever you going through come to me I care for you I'mma look out for you read that 1 John 3:22 the book of 1 John 3 and: 22 read and whatsoever we ask we receive of him hold up read it again the book of 1 John chapter 3 and verse 22 and whatsoever we ask it say and whatsoever ye asked read we receive of him we receive it of who of him of him of him read because we keep his Commandments wait a minute you're keeping the Commandments of God he just told you that whatsoever you ask he'll give it to you because you keeping the Commandments so why were you worried it's because you're in this weak flesh but he's telling you what when you going through whatever you going through I just want you to come to me I want you to cleave unto me I want you to acknowledge that I'm the one that can help you that's you humbling yourself to me I'm the one who's putting you through it only for you to come to me so I can pull you out of it I'm not going to put on you more than you can bear but I just want you to come to me so that I can get the glory that's all he's telling you read it again and verse 1 John 3 and: 22 read and whatsoever we ask we receive of him why because we keep his Commandments read and do those things that are pleasing in his sight we keep the Commandments and we do the things that are pleasing in his sight you keeping God you coming to the new moons right after work right you've been working all day you get off you coming and then you serving the lord those are things that are pleasing brothers that's going out the camp just just had to get off work um doing hella work for the white man but not neglecting the Lord's work that's pleasing unto God hold that hold that go to First Corinthians let's see if that's pleasing unto God first let's deal with the sisters a lot of times the sisters don't think that what they're doing is truly pleasing to the Lord go to go to Hebrews 6 and verse 10 real quick Hebrews chapter 6 and verse 10 cuz a lot of times sisters be cooking for the prophets a lot of time the sisters are um are making sure that the the house is is kept neat and kept um kept um what what you what's the word I want to use um tidy so to speak for the for the prophets to come home and be comfortable so watch what the Lord say read Hebrews chapter 6 and: 10 for God is Not unrighteous to forget your work and labor of love so it say God is Not unrighteous to forget your work and labor of love read which he have showed toward his name read and that ye have Mis ministered to the Saints and that ye have ministered to the Saints and do Minister and do minister so it say the Lord ain't going to forget that that's pleasing unto the Lord for you to do what look out for His prophets hold that go to Sarat go to Sarat chapter 7 so the Lord going to bless you so he's telling you not to worry just pray to me come to me make your request known and because you're doing the things that are pleasing to me I going to look out for you go to Sarat 7 and verse 29 the book of Sarat 7 and verse 29 fear the Lord with all thy soul and reverence his priests and do what and reverence his priests and reverence his peace his priest so the brother the brothers and sisters that are going the brothers that are going out teaching the scriptures is telling the sisters to do what to reverence these men these are the men of the Lord these are the priest of the Earth read the next verse and verse 30 love him that made thee with all thy strength uhhuh and forsake not his Minister and do what and forsake not his ministers and forsake not his ministers so a lot of times sisters don't think that they're that what they're doing is pleasing unto the Lord so to speak but I'm telling you the Lord is saying listen I hold that in high regard so if you doing those things that are pleasing unto me you shall have no need to worry why because I care for you I'm gonna look out for you so now go back to John go back to 1 John 3 and22 now the book of First John 3 and: 22 go ahead and whatsoever we ask we receive of him uhhuh because we keep his Commandments because we keep the Commandments and do those things that are pleasing in his sight and do those things that are pleasing in his sight now let's touch the brothers go to 1 Corinthians Now 1 Corinthians chapter 1 1 start at verse 21 cuz it say be do the things that are pleasing in his sight 1 Corinthians chapter 1 and verse 21 read that 1 Corinthians chapter 1 and verse 21 read out for after that in the wisdom of God the World by wisdom knew not God uh-huh it pleased God it did what it pleased God it did what it pleased God it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching by the what by the foolishness of preaching uh-huh to save them that believe so brothers that's going out and teaching the Bible That's pleasing unto God so if you going out um teaching this Bible to your people that are lost that are in captivity that's pleasing to God so now when you have things that you need in life God is telling you listen just come to me you're doing the things that are pleasing unto me and because you're doing the things that are pleasing to me I'm going to give you what you asked but you got to make your request known unto me you can't do what you can't for forsake me and start trying to do things on your on your own that's what he's telling you now drop that go to First John chapter 5 1 John chapter 5 start at verse 14 hey thank you um Zack all praises the book of First John chapter 5 and verse 14 read and this is the confidence that we have in him hold up hold up hold up hold up read that slow and this is the confidence that we have in him what's the confidence read that if we ask anything according to his will he heareth us that's the confidence that you have in him what read that last part if if if we ask anything if we make our request known read according to his will according to the law of God he heareth us he heareth us so that's the sisters that's in this congregation that's the brother that's in the congregation that want to get married but has been a couple years and you like damn is the Lord really hearing me is marriage not according to his will marriage is according to the will of God that's a honorable thing in the eyesight of God so if you're a sister in the congregation that's doing the things that's pleasing unto the Lord and when you pray to the Lord that you want to get a lord the Lord is going to do what give you a Lord because that's according to his will read and if we know that he hear us and if we understand that he hear us if we do if we asked according to his will read whatsoever we ask we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him so he you know that you will receive that which you ask why because you're keeping the Commandments and you have confidence in what you ask and is according to the law brothers and sisters that's going through they they um they houses and situations like that don't the scriptures tell you that a man should be um a mean Cottage so it doesn't you don't have to have a biggest house on the Block but as long as you have a house you don't have to eat the best foods on the Earth but as long as you eating that's what God is telling you I'm going to provide for you if you're doing the things that are pleasing to me that's power in praying to God but we lose sight of that when we start going through trial and tribulation go to acts Acts chapter 9 go to Acts chapter 9 the Lord is actually watching you when you're praying he actually have eyes on you as you're praying to him Acts chapter 9 start at verse 8 the book of Acts chapter 9 and verse 8 and Saul arose from the earth and when his eyes were opened he saw no man but they led him by the hand and brought him into Damascus read and he was three three days without sight and neither did eat nor drink uhhuh and there was a certain disciple at Damascus named ananas read and to him said the Lord in a vision ananas and he said behold I am here Lord uhhuh and the Lord said unto him arise and go into the street which is called straight and inquire in the house of Judas so he said go into the straight and go to this man house named Judas read for one called Saul of Tarsus for one called sa of torsus is at this man's house read for behold he prayeth for what for behold he prayeth for behold Saul is praying read and he hath seen in a vision a man named anias and in his prayer Saul did what he seeing ananas coming so as Paul is praying to God and seeing a vision God is talking to ananas telling him that Paul is seeing a vision of him why because God is paying attention to Paul's prayers read ananas coming in and putting his hand on him that he might receive his sight uhhuh then ananas answered answered Lord I have heard by many of this men how much evil he hath done to thy Saints at Jerusalem read and here he hath Authority from the chief priests to bind all that call on thy name but the Lord said unto him go thy way for he is a chosen vessel unto me it said what go thy way for he is a chosen vessel unto me so a a a chosen vessel unto God was Paul right he he told another brother Hey listen go and touch Saul he's praying right now and as he's praying he's seeing you come and touch him are not you chosen of God did not God choose you to come out of the world to be in this truth so if you praying to him he's going to move people in your life to help you travel throughout this world at this time Paul was blind read for he is a chosen vessel unto me to Bear my name before the Gentiles and Kings and the children of Israel read for I will show him how great things he must suffer for my name's sake read and ananas went his way and entered into the house uhhuh and putting his hands on him said brother brother brother Saul the Lord even Jesus that appeared unto thee in the way as thou camest hath sent me uhhuh that thou mightest receive thy sight uhhuh and be filled with the Holy Ghost read and immediately there fell from his eyes as it had been scales uhhuh and he received sight forth with and arose and was baptized so imagine that imagine if imagine if um Saul at this point was not praying to God he was just pissed off that he fell off the damn donkey and he what he couldn't see no more but in his distress what was he doing praying to the Lord and the Lord did what sent one of his servants to do what help Saul likewise you you start going through trial tribulation in life when you pray to the Lord the Lord is going to send what brothers and sisters to you to help you but you must believe it you must make your request known unto the Lord Daniel 9:2 Daniel 9 [Music] [Music] hey hey [Music] hey he hey [Applause] [Music] because what what now watch what Daniel was doing and watch what happened while he was doing it read that Daniel 9 start at verse two The Book of Daniel chapter 9 and verse 2 and first year of his Reign I Daniel understood by books the stop I Daniel did what understood by books meaning Daniel was studying the scriptures so it said Daniel understood by books read the number of the years whereof the word of the Lord came to Jeremiah the prophet read that he would accomplish 70 years in the desolations of Jerusalem uh-huh So Daniel was studying read and I set my face unto the Lord God to to seek prayer to seek by prayer and supplication so it said and I set my face unto the Lord thy God to seek the Lord thy God basically by what by Prayer by prayer so he prayed and supplications stop study pray read on with fasting and sackcloth and Ashes uh-huh and I prayed unto the Lord my God and made my confession and said oh Lord the great and Dreadful God keeping the Covenant and mercy to them that love him and to them that keep his Commandments Stop So Daniel is telling you I studied I prayed and I applied is that not what leadership tell us to do study pray and apply so now you see Daniel he prayed often throughout the day also when he did he studied he prayed and he applied he also fasted now jump back up to verse three and read it again in verse three and I set my face unto the Lord God to seek by prayer and supplications with fasting uh-huh and sackcloth and Ashes uhhuh and I prayed unto the Lord my God and made my confession and did what and made my confession so when you come to the Lord keep it real come to the Lord Hey listen man I messed up confess to the Lord he already know what you did he just want to see if you're going to humble yourself before him read and said oh Lord the great and Dreadful God uh-huh keeping the Covenant and mercy to them that love him read and to them that keep his Commandments we have sinned and have committed iniquity uh-huh and have done wickedly uh-huh and have re rebelled uh-huh even by dep parting from thy precepts and from thy judgments drop that now go to Amos I mean go to um John 9:31 so we see Daniel was like he studied he prayed he applied he fasted he acknowledged his sins these are the steps that we got to do to see the power that's actually in prayer that's actually making our Quest request known unto God drop that go to John 9:31 read that the Book of John chapter 9 and verse 31 go ahead now we know that God heareth not Sinners stop so he said now we know now we got understanding that God heareth not Sinners what's say what is sin get sin because we probably have new people that's going to watch this so it say now we know that God heareth not Sinners read that 1 John 3 and ver4 whosoever committeth sin transgress also the law for sin is the transgression of the law so now go back so now John now we got understanding as to what John was saying and what John meant read that now the Book of John 9:31 now we know that God heareth not sinners now we got understanding that God does not hear those that break the Commandments read but if any man be a worshipper of God but if you be a worshiper of God and doeth His will and doth his will him he heareth okay what is the will that you must do in order to be heard by God because all of us are going through things to the point where all of us need to be heard by God so what is the will that we must do in order to be heard by God because he already told you to make your request known unto him read yep read the real Psalms 40 and verse 8 uh I Delight to do thy will oh my God yay thy law is within my heart so if you keep the laws of God and you pray to the Lord God he will listen to your prayers and give you the things that you are requesting of him drop that now go to Second mccabes go to Second macbes chap 1 and verse 2 now let's get a few examples second mccabes chapter 1 and verse two read that the book of second mccabes chapter 1 and verse 2 God be gracious unto you and remember His Covenant that he made with Abraham Isaac and Jacob uhhuh his Faithful Servants and gave you all in heart to serve him and to do his will and to do his Commandments read with a good courage and a willing mind so you must be keeping the Commandments with a willing mind you should not be forced to keep the laws of God read and open your hearts in his and by doing that is showing that your mind is open in in his law uh-huh and Commandments uh-huh and send you peace and by you doing that God is going to send you peace read and hear your prayers and do what and hear your prayers and listen to your prayers and be at one with you and be at one with you so he's telling you that by you keeping the Commandments and praying unto him he now becomes one with you read and never forsake you in time of trouble and he will never forsake you in times of trouble so now you have to ask yourself am why am I going through times of trouble but I'm not praying to God is because you don't understand that by doing that you become one with God you haven't came to that understanding yet so now when you go through what you going through you forsake God and start to try to do it yourself but that's why he told you through wisdom of through the wisdom of Solomon not to do that watch that go to Proverbs 3 he said don't do that Proverbs 3 and start at verse 5 The Book of Proverbs 3 and verse 5 trust in the Lord with all thine heart he said what trust in the Lord with all thine heart trust in the Lord with all your heart read and lean not unto thine own understanding and do what and lean not unto thine own understanding and lean not to thy own understanding so now go back now to Second m 1 and verse 5 the book of second mccabes 1 and verse 5 and hear your prayers and be at one with you uhhuh and never forsake you in time of trouble so when you start to go through your times of trouble you need to do what pray even the more why so that you can be at one with God and not start with your own mind to figure things out that's when you get into worrying that's when you get into being careful for everything that's when you get in and what I mean by careful you worrying about everything that's when Mortal Thoughts start to destroy your mind and because you lack the the understanding and trust in the Lord you now go off into sin you not start trying to do things on your own the old man creep back up on you but it's hard for you to recognize the old man that's crept back up on you why cuz you we fringes you coming to the Sabbath but the old man has crept on you cuz you truly don't trust the Lord why because you're slacking in your prair in your prayer life and your being at one with God drop that now go to um 2 Chronicles 2 Chronicles chapter 32 and start at verse 9 the book of 2 Chronicles CH 32 and ver9 after this did sharib King of Assyria sent his servants to Jerusalem but he himself laid Siege against Lish and all his power with him unto Hezekiah king of Judah and unto all Judah that were at Jerusalem saying so this is sarib the Assyrian he was coming to go to war against Hezekiah the king of Judah read thus sayith sakar king of Assyria whereon do ye trust that ye abide in The Siege in Jerusalem read doth not Hezekiah persuade you to give yourselves to die by famine and by thirst saying the Lord Our God shall deliver us out of the hand of the king of Assyria so what Hezekiah was saying to the Israelites is that we is that you know what we're going to trust in the Lord to do what to deliver us at this point Assyria had surrounded Jerusalem they had laid Siege and there began to be a famine so so Hezekiah was telling the people listen let's make sure that we have faith in the Lord watch this read on hath not the same Hezekiah taken away his high places and his altars and commanded Judah and Jerusalem saying ye shall worship before one Altar and burn incense upon it mm know ye not what I what I and my fathers have done unto all the people of other lands so you got a imagine what's going on these Assyrians are saying listen we don't conquered all these people now it's time to conquer you but you're going to listen to this King Hezekiah talking about we're not going to worry we're going to put Faith in a God don't you know those other people had Gods what make you think your God is going to deliver you we coming to destroy you read were the gods of the nations of those lands any ways able to deliver their lands out of mine hand read who was there among all the gods of those Nations that my fathers utterly destroyed read that could deliver his people out of mine hand that your God should be able to deliver you out of mine hand well if we destroyed them what make you think we're not going to destroy you read so you got to imagine the distress that our people are going through they see a army surrounding the Jerusalem and the PE and the man is telling our people listen we about to destroy you read now therefore let not Hezekiah deceive you nor persuade you on this manner neither yet believe him for no God of Any Nation or kingdom was able to deliver his people out of mine hand read and out of the hand of my fathers how much less shall your God deliver you out of mine hand uh-huh and his servant spake yet more against the Lord God and against his servant Hezekiah great he wrote also letters to rail on the Lord God of Israel and to speak against him saying as the gods of the nations of the other lands have not delivered their people out of mine hand so shall not the god of Hezekiah deliver his people out of mine hand you hear what this Heathen is saying about our God man you you Negroes y God is not going to deliver you out of our hand we've destroyed countries what make you think that we're not going to destroy you read on then they cried with a loud voice in the Jews speech uhhuh unto the people of Jerusalem that were on the wall to afite them and to trouble them that they may take the city read and they spake against the god of Jerusalem what did they do and they spake against the god of Jerusalem read as a Against The Gods of the people of the earth read and W which were the work of the hands of men uh-huh and for this cause Hezekiah the king so Israel is in great distress you got an army that's talking about destroying us as a people the king did what and for this cause Hezekiah the king and the prophet Isaiah and the prophet Isaiah the son of Amos read prayed and cried to Heaven what did they do prayed and cried to Heaven they prayed and Cried unto heaven and watch what happened read and the Lord sent an angel hold on what did the Lord do and the Lord sent an angel when they prayed to God when they put their trust in the Lord when they made their request known unto God what did God do and the Lord sent an angel uh-huh which cut off all the Mighty Men of Valor what did the Lord do he sent an angel just because they prayed read which cut off all the Mighty Men of Valor uhhuh and the leaders and captains in the camp of the king of Syria read so he returned with shame how did he return back to his land so he returned with shame uh-huh of his face to his own land uh-huh and when he was come into the house of his God that they came forth out of his own bowels slew him there with the sword so now God end up having sakar rib killed by his own people why because when distress Came Upon Our People we did what we prayed unto the Lord we did not Hezekiah didn't try to take it into his own hand he went to the prophet and they did what they Cried unto the Lord and the Lord sent an angel to deliver our people second mccabes now 15 Verse 6 second mccabes 15 and verse6 so these are examples as to when our people was in distress how they prayed to the Lord second uh mcabees 15 start at verse 6 the book of second mccabes chapter 15 and verse 6 so Nicko in exceeding pride and Hess determined to set up a public monument of his victory over Judas so this is another um Heathen that was coming up against our people again read determined to set up a public monument of his victory over Judas uh-huh and them that were with him but macabus had ever sure confidence that the Lord would help him what did he do but macabus had ever sure confidence that the Lord would help him uh-huh he confidence that the Lord will help him read wherefore he exhorted his people not to fear he exhorted excuse me he exhorted his people not to fear the coming of the Heathen against them read but to remember the help which is which in former times they had received from Heaven read and now to expect the Victory and Aid which should come unto them from the almighty so this is maab this is Judah makab be exalting the people to not be afraid likewise today when these people people talk about persecuting us persecuting us putting us to death putting us in prison all we got to do is go to our Lord he's our Aid all we got to do is pray to him in his dist in our distress and if we keeping the Commandments he's going to send angels to protect us read on that's right and so comforting them out of the law and the prophets what did he do and so comforting them out of the law and the prophets so he comforted the people with the Bible the same thing that the brothers are doing today we are comforting our people out of the scriptures read and with all putting them in mind of the battles that they woron of four he made them more cheerful read and when he had stirred up their minds he gave them their charge uhhuh showing them there would fall the falsehood of the Heathen read a little bit faster and the breach of Oaths read thus he armed every one of them not so much with defensive Shields and Spears as with comfortable and good works he he he showed our people listen we ain't got we ain't got the this ain't a we ain't got the today it would be like we ain't got to go out there with guns and knives and things of that nature we're going to come with the word of God at this time they was actually fighting with gun with knives and swords and shields read on and beside that he told them a dream worthy to be believed as if it had been so indeed which did not a little Rejoice them and this was his vision that onias who had and high priest a virtuous and good man reverend in conversation gentle in condition well spoken also and exercise from a child in all points of virtue holding up his hands prayed for the whole body of the Jews great this done in like manner there appeared a man with gray hairs and exceeding glorious who was all who was of a wonderful and excellent Majesty uh-huh then onias answered saying this is a lover of the Brethren who who prayeth much for the people and for the holy city to ITT German ger germanus the prophet of God jeremias Jeremiah excuse me the prophet of God whereupon jeremias holding forth his right hand gave to Judas a sword of gold and and giving it spake thus jump down to verse 20 and verse 20 and now when as all looked what should be the trial read and the enemies were already come near uh-huh and the Army was set in Array uhhuh and the beasts conveniently placed uhhuh and the horsemen set in wings so now battle is about to pop off read macabus seeing the coming of the multitude and the diverse preparations of of of armor read and the fierceness of the Beast so you got to imagine what's going on you look across the field and it's Warfare it's about to be death Brothers about to die everybody not going to make it but watch how Judas mov read stretched out his hands toward Heaven what did he do stretched out his hands toward Heaven he stretched out his hands toward Heaven read and called upon the Lord and did what and called upon the Lord uh-huh that worketh wonders uh-huh knowing that the victory cometh not by arms but even as it seeth good to him read he giveth it to such as are worthy therefore in his prayer he said after this manner therefore in his what in his prayer in his prayer so you got to think about it this is life and death the only thing in front of in front of you is another Army and you and you in your mind you feel like you know what let me go to the Lord because I know I have confidence that he can deliver us read on oh Lord thou did send thine angel in the time of Ezekiel hold up you did what th sent thine angel in the time of if Ezekiel ezekias ezekias excuse we just read that we he understood what that God would send an angel if he prayed to the Lord read it again oh Lord thou did send thine angel in the time of ezekias uhhuh king of Judah read and did his slay in the host of sarib 4 score and 5,000 so if God would have sent the angel then in the midst of the Israelites to destroy the sakar and 185,000 of his host read wherefore now also oh Lord of Heaven s send a good Angel before us for a fear and dread unto them do what send a good Angel unto us before for a fear and a dread unto them so so what our forefathers do listen send an angel for us so that he can destroy them the same way you sent an angel to destroy sakar and the Assyrians if you don't know that history read on we're going to keep rolling go to Psalms 18 Psalms 18 so that's the power of prayer God will send angels to fight on your behalf God meaning what what is that today God will send an angel to get into the heart of the person to help you get what you need if you make the request known unto him God will move the minds of men and women to help you in this life but you got to trust in him read that Psalms 18-6 The Book of Psalms 18 and verse 6 in my distress I called upon the Lord read it again the book of Psalms 18 and: 6 in my distress I called upon the Lord it say in my distress I called upon the Lord how much stressful is it if you know you about to go into a battle and you could die how much distress is it when we already realizing that we're going to go through persecution how much stress is it when we already know that some of us will get put to death because of this gospel some of us will go to prison because of this gospel read it again in my distress I called upon the Lord so what is God telling you call on me read and Cried unto my God uh-huh he heard my voice out of his Temple what did he do he heard my voice out of his Temple read and My Cry came before him even into his ears so the Bible is telling you in your distress call upon the Lord he he will listen to you and he will move on your behalf 1 Peter 3:12 1 Peter chapter 3 and verse 12 cuz a lot of times we don't understand that the Lord actually is delighted is delighted when we pray unto him 1 Peter 3:12 the book of 1 Peter chapter 3 and: 12 for the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous the Bible says the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous read and his ears are open unto their prayers and his ears are open unto their prayers read but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil Isaiah 26:3 so it's telling you listen the Lord wants you to come to him he loves the prayers of the righteous uh Isaiah 26 start at verse three the book of Isaiah chapter 26 and: 3 thou Wilt keep him in perfect peace the Bible says Thou shalt keep him in perfect peace read whose mind is stayed upon thee uh-huh because he trusteth in thee mhm trust ye in the Lord forever for in the Lord Jehovah is Everlasting strength so he's telling you it says Thou will keep him in perfect peace in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on thee that's not a hard thing in a wicked world but he's telling you if you keep your mind focused on him he would do what give you peace that's what he's telling you drop that go to uh Isaiah 55 now Isaiah 55 start at verse 8 the book of Isaiah chapter 55 and verse 8 read for my thoughts are not your thoughts what did he say for my thoughts are not your thoughts God said my thoughts are not your thoughts so when you start going through your trials and tribulation don't start to lean on your own understanding God is putting you through that for a reason he's putting you through that to prove to him that you actually love him that you actually will keep his commandment in distress so don't run from him run to him cleave unto him read neither are your ways my ways sayith the Lord for as the heavens are higher than the earth so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts so he's telling you his thoughts are not like your thoughts you may be going through something ultimately to help somebody else so you had to go through it to get the experience to ultimately help them get through it but you don't understand that so now when you start to go through it you forsake God and end up it destroying you when ultimately you was going through it just to help somebody that come into this truth three four years from now but you you you forsook God you didn't come to the Lord and ask him to deliver you so now you be in you end up being destroyed when he only put you through it so that you can gain experience to help somebody else that's the god that you serve that's why he said my thoughts are not like your thoughts you don't understand why I'm putting you through something so in the midst of you going through it don't forsake me you need to cleave unto me you know what I keep saying it go to Sarat to this wasn't in my notes go to Sarat to go to sarck 2 and start at verse start at one then we going to jump the book of Sarat 2 and verse1 my son if Thou come to serve the Lord prepare thy soul for Temptation uh-huh set thy heart a right and constantly endure set your heart a right constantly endure read and make not haste in time of trouble and don't make haste when you start going through stuff read cleave unto him do what cleave unto him cleave unto him and depart not away so he's telling you when the time of trouble come cleave unto him how do you be one with God we read earlier he said pray unto him that's first m i mean that's second mcab 1 and I think verse three or 4 something like that he telling you when you start going through stuff cleave unto him meaning be at one with him read and depart not away uh-huh that thou mayest be increased at thy last end read whatsoever is brought upon thee take cheerfully how are you able to take it cheerfully because you have the understanding that the reason that you're going through it is to ultimately help somebody else so now you can take it cheerfully cuz it's ultimately for you to gain experience read and be patient when thou art changed to a low State and be patient as you going through it meaning what use it as a lesson go ahead for gold is tried in the fire and acceptable men an acceptable man in the furnace of adversity you must go through adversity I'm going to stop right there cuz that wasn't in there so now understand this what you going through is not merely for yourself God just wants you to pray to him so he can give you the understanding to get through it so that you could comfort yourself in the scriptures just like our forefathers did drop that go now to um Genesis 26 Genesis 26 and start at verse 5 let's go back a little bit with our forefathers Genesis 26 and verse 5 the Book of Genesis chapter 26 and verse 5 because that Abraham obeyed my voice and kept my charge my Commandments my statutes and my laws so it's telling you that our forefather Abraham he kept the Commandments of God Genesis CH 20:1 17 the Book of Genesis chapter 20 and verse 17 so Abraham prayed unto God what did Abraham do so Abraham prayed unto God uh-huh so you had a man that was keeping the Commandments he prayed unto God and God healed AMC so because Abraham was so righteous he prayed for another man and God did what and God healed ABC and God healed them read and his wife uh-huh and his maid servants and they bare children for the for the Lord had fast closed up all the wombs of the House of ailec because of Sarah Abraham's wife so when you read the history ailec had took Sarah and was about to try to do something with her and then God was like nah no no that's a prophet wife and then God shut up AMC's WB his his wife's womb and everybody that was in his house and then Abraham had to come and pray for that man just to open up her womb read Genesis CH 21 and verse one and the Lord drop that go now to James 5 James 5 and verse4 that's the power of Prayer of a righteous man to the point where God had closed up his wife the AMC's wife womb and Abraham had to pray for her womb to be open back up that's power read that James 5 chapter 5 verse1 14 uhhuh is any sick among you let him call for the Elders of the church and let them pray over him stop read it again is any sick among you he asked the question he said is any sick among you read let him call for the Elders of the church and let him pray over him anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord so God is telling us that if it's somebody that's sick among us that the leadership of the church should pray for that person and based upon that read the next verse in verse six in verse 15 and the prayer of faith shall save the sick and the prayer of that righteous man could save that person man that's the power of Prayer of a righteous man read Brothers don't believe this Bible sisters don't believe this Bible Brothers get sick the first thing they want to say is I'm staying at the crib which that's order but have you ever asked somebody to come over and pray for you why you sick hey man come through man hey send up some prayers for me that's what it says read and the Lord shall raise him up and if he have committed sins they shall be for for him that's how powerful it is man God said the prayers of a righteous man he said the the prayer of faith shall save the sick and the Lord shall raise him up and if he have committed sins they shall be forgiven that's the power that you have in prayer man if you keeping the Commandments of God that's why it's important to stay righteous and confess to God when you do mess up and he will do what what forgive you drop that go now to um go now to Second mbes 3 we almost done go to Second mccabes 3 cuz the prayer of a righteous man Avil it availeth much second mccabes 3 start at verse one the book of second mccabes chapter 3 and verse one that's the power of prayer read now when the holy city was inhabited with all peace and the laws were kept very well stop so notice it say that when the holy city was inhabited with all peace meaning the people Minds were stayed on the Lord and it said if your mind we read that in Isaiah if your mind is stayed on the Lord he will give you peace so now it says now when the Holy C city was inhabited with all peace read and the laws were kept very well and the laws of God were kept very well because of the godliness of onias the high priest because the godliness of the leader read and his hatred of wickedness stop and his hatred of wickedness let's see what happened I ain't going to read it all of it because for time sake but I want you to jump to verse seven I mean verse um six in verse 6 and told him that the treasury in Jerusalem was full of infinite sums of money so you had another nation that was about to come and try to take our money out of our treasury read so that the multitude of their riches would did which did not pertain to the account of the sacrifices was innumerable so you had a negro that was telling the other nations that we had money put to the side basically read the history I'm not going to go through all of it for time sake go ahead and that it was possible to bring all into the king's hand drop down to verse 10 and verse 10 so the man was coming to take our money he had got a order from the King to go to Jerusalem and when he go to Jerusalem get all the money out of the temple and bring it back to him right that was the that was the order read then the high priest told him that there was such money laid up for the relief of widows and fatherless children so back then we had our own quote unquote Wick we had our own uh establishment or system to look out for the women women infant and the children we had our own we have to go to the other nations now the Negro is running to the white man for Wick and all other type of stuff because we fully been destroyed as a people but at this time we had our own so the white man was coming to take our Treasures um read verse jump down to verse 13 for time sake and verse 13 but hel hodus because of theodorus hel odorus excuse me because of the king's commandment given him said that in any wise it must be brought into the king's treasury so Hodor was like listen I got to get this money I ain't come out here for nothing the king want the money you got to give up the money jump down to verse 15 in verse 15 but the priests prostrating themselves before the altar in their priest's vestments called unto Heaven upon him what did they do called unto Heaven upon him they prayed read that made a law concerning things given to be kept read that that they should safely be preserved for such as had committed them to be kept so they like listen man they went to the Lord in prayer read on then who so had looked the high priest in the face it would have wounded his heart for his countenance and the changing of his color declared in the inward Agony of his mind so the priest was in distress he prayed unto the Lord though it was so bad that they were like look at the PRI looking bad the the the Hodor know Hodor came and was about to take everything so the priest couldn't do nothing but go to the Lord read for the man was so compassed with fear and horror of the body read that it was manifest to them that looked upon him what sorrow he had now is in his heart read others ran flocking out of their houses to the general supplication because the place was like to come into contempt read and the women gir with sa Claus so imagine what's happening our people they're they're getting mind you is telling you our our city was keeping the Commandments then you had this Edomite coming trying to take what was given to the the um the the the the widows and the fatherless children the orphans so now the priest is like no man you can't take this this what we give to the people but then the man was like Noah bro I got to take this money so now the priest is like look I ain't got nothing to do but to go to the Lord and the people in the city is distressed so they running around they going crazy go ahead under their breasts abounded in the streets and The Virgins that were kept and ran some to the gates and some to the walls and others looked out the windows so it's just going it's Madness in the city go ahead and all holding their hands toward Heaven what did they do holding their hands toward Heaven uh-huh made supplication then it would have pitted a man to see the falling down of the multitude of all sorts and the fear of the high priest being in such an agony they they then called upon the almighty Lord what did they do they then called upon the almighty Lord the Israelites prayed to God read to keep the things committed of trust safe and sure for those that had committed them read nevertheless heliodorus executed that which was decreed nevertheless Hodor heliodorus said listen I got to get this money I don't care about you praying I ain't got to get this money read now as he was there present himself self with his guard about the treasury the Lord of spirits and the prince of all power caused a great Apparition so that all that presumed to come in with him were astonished at the power of God they were astonished at the power of God why because you had a whole city of righteous people praying to God read and fainted and were sore afraid uh-huh for there appeared unto them an horse with a terrible Rider upon him out of nowhere there appeared unto them a horse with a terrible Rider read and adorned with a very fair covering uh-huh he ran fiercely and smoked heliodorus he did what and smoked heliodorus read with his four feet and it seemed that he had that sat upon the horse and it seemed that he that sat upon the horse had complete harness of gold he was in complete gold read so this is a black angel complete go read moreover two other young men of appeared before him not able in strength notable notable in strength uh-huh excellent in Beauty uh-huh and comely in apparel who stood by him on either side so now you got this angel with pure gold on and then he got two of his boys on the side because the children of Israel prayed to God because the children of Israel was keeping the Commandments read and scourged him continually go ahead and gave him many sore Stripes read and heliodorus fell suddenly unto the ground uhhuh and was compassed with a great Darkness uhh but they that were with him took him up and put him into a lit read thus him that lately came with a great train and with all his guard into the S into the said treasury They carried out being unable to help himself so them angels beat him so bad that he couldn't even help himself read with his weapons and manifestly they acknowledg the power of God read for he had to acknowledge the what the power of God they had to acknowledge the power of God because there's power in prayer read for he by the hand of God was cast down and lay speechless without all hope of life God God the angels beat him up so bad he couldn't even say nothing he like man what the hell has just happened to me read but they praised the Lord what did Israel do but they praised the Lord read that had miraculously honored his own place that had miraculous miraculously honored that place so God can work miracles in your life if you pray to him read for the temple which a little of four was full of fear and trouble because now you're going through your trials and tribulation so you fearful read when the almighty Lord appeared was filled with joy and gladness but then when God come cuz you pray for you pray you ask the Lord you you made your request known unto the Lord and the Lord act on your life because of it now you are joyful read then straight ways certain of heliodorus friends pray prayed onias they came they asked onias listen bro come on man we know you're a righteous man help us read that he would call upon the most high to Grant him his life who lay ready to give up the ghost the angels beat H Hodor so bad he was about to die so his boys was like yo please pray for him cuz we know that there's power in prayer read so the high Peace So the high priest suspecting lest the king should Mis misconceive that some treachery had been done to hel adoris by the Jews so onas was like listen I I'm going pray for him because if you go back to the king and say that we set him up or set him up as a set an ambush up the king is going to send more men so you know what I'm going pray for him go ahead offered a sacrifice for the health of the man right now as the high priest was making an atonement the same young man in the same clothing appeared and Stood Beside heliodorus hold wait a minute hey them same men came back was like hold up let me let me let me make sure everything good let me make sure they understand what's really going down so they show back up read saying give onas the high priest great thanks you better thank onias that's what the that's what they told helor you better thank onias read in so much as for his sake the Lord hath granted thee life because he prayed for you that's the only reason you alive read and seeing that thou Hast been scourged from Heaven declare unto all men the mighty power of God so seeing that we just whoop your behind you better go tell everybody about not coming to Jerusalem and messing with the Israelites you better go tell everybody read on and when they had spoken these words they appeared no more when they spoken them words they disappeared read so heliodorus after he had offered sacri rice unto the Lord and made great vows unto him that he had saved his life and saluted onias returned with his host to the king he went back to the king read then testified he to all men The Works of the great God which he what what did he do I bet I bet he obey what them Angels said what did he do then testified he to all men The Works of the great God which he had seen with his eyes read and when the king asked heliodorus who might be a a fit man to be sent ye once again to Jerusalem hey the King was like listen I got to send somebody to get that money who can I send Hodor you've been there before read he said if thou Hast any enemy or traitor send him thither hey if you got an enemy or a traitor I would send him to Jerusalem read and thou shalt receive him well scourged and he will get his behind whoop you're going to get him well scourged read if he escaped with his life if he escaped with his life he might not even he might not even make get alive read for in that place for in that place among those Israelites no doubt there is a special power of God there's a special power of God because they did what they prayed unto the Lord to protect them read for he that dwelleth in heaven for he that dwelleth in heaven have his eye on that place have his eye on that place read and defendthejoe Jerusalem is a people before it's a place so now if we read right here where God is going to protect the land how much more will he protect the people this power in prayer I'm telling you straight drop that go now to um acts 12 we're almost done acts 12 acts 12 and start at verse in verse 5 the book of Acts 12 and verse 5 Peter therefore was kept in prison but prayer was made without ceasing of the Church of God so Peter had went to prison for teaching the Bible and what happened but prayer was made without ceasing of the church unto God for him and the and the church was praying for Peter while he was in prison read and when her when some of us get locked up when some of us get killed the Bible say we ought to be praying for each other read and when Herod would have brought him forth the same night Peter was sleeping Between Two Soldiers so notice that he was getting prayed for by the church right read on bound with two chains and the keepers before the door kept the prison uhhuh and behold the angel of the Lord came upon him stop wait a minute again what happened through prayer an angel of the Lord came upon him a angel of the Lord showed up while preter was in prison this is what this is letting us know that when they start putting us in prison for teaching this Bible all the people got to do is pray for us and God's going to deliver us if it's his will that's right that's why he told you he told you don't stress Don't Worry put your faith in me I put Peter in prison for a purpose I put Paul in prison for a purpose all you need to do is pray I'm going to take care of this I'm God read on and a light shined in the prison and he smote Peter on his side uhuh and raised him up saying rise up quickly and his chains fell from off his hands so Peter we're going to jump for on time sake and Peter got released the angel LED Peter out of prison watch what happened verse 12 and verse 12 and when he had considered the thing he came to this the house of Mary so Peter out of prison he he canel House of Mary read the mother of John uh-huh whose surname was Mark read where many were gathered together praying what were they doing praying they were gathered together praying still and what happened Peter had already been released so God moved based upon their prayers to the point where he led Peter out of prison and then when Peter got to the house they were still praying why because there's power in prayer all things was written for us to learn from so this is letting us know that when we start going through the persecution we ought to be praying without ceasing for one another that's what the Bible saying drop that go to Luke 18 Luke 18 start at verse one The Book of Luke chapter 18 and verse one read and he spake a parable unto them to this end uh-huh that men ought always to pray what did what did Jesus Christ say that men ought always to pray Jesus Christ said men ought always to pray read and not and not to faint and don't faint in your prayers read that's why we read earlier Daniel was reading I mean Daniel was praying over three times a day David was praying for um at least three times a day you should put in your life to pray at least three times a day and not faint Jesus Christ said pray and not faint read saying there was in a city a judge which feared not God neither regardeth man and there was a widow in this that City and she came unto him saying avenge me of mine adversary so while we're praying the Bible is telling us Christ is telling us listen he's using a parable for us to pray for the destruction of our enemies if you if you read in the scriptures notice how our forefathers kept praying for the destruction of the enemies keep going and he would not for a while uhhuh but afterward he said within himself though I fear not God nor regard man yet because this Widow troubleth me because the Widow was troubling God by keep coming keep coming to him praying for the destruction of our enemies likewise it's is speaking on Israel Israel got to keep coming to God day and night without fainting praying for the destruction of the enemy read I will avenge her lest by her continual coming she weary me read and the Lord said hear what the unjust judge saith read and shall not God avenge his own elect and shall not God avenge his own elect who are elect the Israelites read which cry day and night unto him which do what which CED day and night unto him notice what we read on um during hezekiah's time Hezekiah Prayed For What the Lord to come and deliver them the Lord sent an one Angel and killed 185,000 in a night we read about what happened when Judas mcabees when it was war about to pop off what did Judah macabees do he prayed to the Lord we read about what happened when Jerusalem was about to be Ram sacked by Nicko I mean by um Hodor what did God do send an angel we read about when Paul when Peter went to prison and what happened they prayed for him and what happened he was sent out of prison he was released out of prison what's going to happen to us today when we start getting locked up we got to pray for one another read on and the Lord yet because this Widow trouth me I will avenge her jump down to verse seven and verse seven and shall not God avenge his own elect read which cry day and night unto him read though he bear long with them read I tell you that he will avenge them speedily he will avenge them speedily because they're praying to me read nevertheless when the son of man cometh shall he find faith on the Earth shall the when the son of man cometh shall he find faith in the earth so by you praying unto God it shows that you have faith in the Lord that's what is showing him you must believe that God will act on your behalf our forefathers had enough understanding and faith in the Lord they Comfort themselves with the scriptures likewise if we are our forefathers how should we Comfort ourselves with the scriptures that's what we got to do last scripture go to Sarat 36 Sarat 36 start at one and then we're going to jump the book of Sarat 36 and verse1 have mercy upon us oh Lord God of all and behold and behold us and send thy fear upon all the nations that seek not after thee and send thy fear upon all the nations avenge us Lord read lift up thy hand against the strange Nations and let them see thy power lift up thy hand against against other nations go ahead as thou was Sanctified in us before them read so be thou magnified among them before us jump down to verse seven and verse seven raise up indignation what this is the prayer of our forefathers he said what raise up indignation and pour out wrath raise up indignation pour out wrath read take away the adversary do what take away the adversary read and destroy the enemy and destroy the enemy read make the time short make the time short remember the covenants uhhuh and let them declare thy wonderful work read let him that escapethe consumed by The Rage of the fire read and let them perish that oppress the people let the Nations perish that oppress us read Smite and under the heads of the rulers of the Heathen Lord that kill presidents dignitaries ambassadors destroy them read that say there is none other but we that say that they God read gather all the tribes of Jacob together what should we do gather all the tribes of Jacob together that's what we praying that God do that he will put the words in our mouth that we can go out and teach the people and God would do what gather the tribes of Jacob read and inherit thou them as from the beginning oh Lord have mercy upon the people that is called by thy name so as you praying you should be praying for the Lord to have mercy on our people you see our people on drugs smoking weed snotting powder shooting up in their veins God says you need to be doing what praying for our people that can't get a job that don't know what they next meal coming from God said pray for your people read whom thou Hast named thy firstborn read oh be merciful unto Jerusalem thy holy city the place of thy rest read fill Sion With Thine unspeakable Oracle uh-huh and thy people with thy Glory read give testimony unto those that thou has possessed from the beginning and what read and raise up prophets and do what and raise up prophets and do what and raise up prophets that have been in thy name that's what's happening on this earth right now the prophets of God are being raised up read reward them that wait for thee then he turn around and tell you reward them that wait for thee and let thy prophets be found faithful and let thy prophets be found faithful read on oh Lord hear the prayer of thy servants do what hear the prayer of thy servants do what hear the prayer of thy servants hear the prayer of thy servants why because there's power in the prayers of thy servants I know I said that last SC watch this because a lot of women don't understand they got power as well go to 1 Samuel go to 1 Samuel chapter 2 and verse 1 the book of 1st Samuel chapter 2 and verse one BR it and Hannah prayed and what and Hannah prayed and Hannah prayed read and said my heart rejoiceth in the Lord mine horn is exalted in the Lord my mouth is enlarged over mine enemies because I rejoice in thy salvation so this is a sister that's praying let's see what this sister is praying drop down to verse 8 and verse eight he raiseth up the poor Out of the Dust read and lifteth up the beggar from the dungill to set them among princes and to make them inherit the Throne of Glory for The Pillars of the Earth are the Lords uh-huh and he hath set the world upon them read he will keep the feet of his Saints what will he do he will keep the feet of his Saints read and the wicked shall be silent in darkness for by strength shall no man prevail read the adversaries of the Lord shall be broken to Pieces read again the adversaries of the Lord shall be broken to Pieces what did the sisters un these is thy sisters this is what they understood read it again the adversaries of the Lord shall be broken to Pieces uh-huh Out of Heaven shall he Thunder upon them read the Lord shall judge the ends of the Earth read and he shall give strength unto the unto his King read and exalt the Horn of his anointed so this is what we got to understand sisters also pray for the destru destuction of our enemies our sisters understood that just like the men understand that and God would do what he will move on our behalf as he did it for the wars that we had in the ancient times you think he won't do it in our lives if we humble ourselves and come to him in prayer [Music] na nation is men leading by example [Music] [Music] nation is family nation is community nation is children with role models we have a we have a nation is unity [Music] yeah Jon is you and finally my brother he's strong and a l his one his one his W his
