Broader Scope of Global Health

  • Not limited to infectious diseases:
    • Lifestyle Factors: Fast food culture leading to obesity, diabetes, heart disease.
    • Education: Girls' education reducing child mortality rates.
    • Poverty: Limits access to basic needs like housing, food, education, and health services.
