let's go to Second Timothy Chapter 2 and verse 15. the book of second Timothy chapter 2 verse 15. study to show thyself approved unto God as believers we have to study we must know the word of God come on a Workman that needeth not to be ashamed now I want to bring this back from the very top study to show thyself approved unto God as Believers we have to study God is testing us to see if we're learning understanding and applying his word that's why the Bible says study to show yourself approved okay read on a Workman that needeth not to be ashamed now as workers in this truth we must be skilled in the word of God otherwise you'll be ashamed come on rightly dividing the word of Truth baptism is a topic that you have to rightly divide baptism is a very hot topic and you can't just take one verse and make an entire Doctrine out of it similarly you can't just quote the scriptures on it nope you have to show how the scripture is rightly coincide okay let's read this from the top one more time the book of second Timothy chapter 2 verse 15. study to show thyself approved unto God as Believers we must study and God is testing Us by our thoughts and by our actions to see if our thoughts and actions aligns with the word of God that's why it says study to show yourself approved unto God you want to make sure that you pass the test come on a Workman that needeth not to be ashamed because if we're going to show ourselves approve we can't just be hearers of the word nope we've got to be doers as workers in this truth we have to be skilled in the word of God practitioners otherwise you'll be ashamed scriptures will come out you have no idea what's going on nope we must study the word of God diligently read study to show thyself approved unto God a Workman that needed not to be ashamed rightly dividing the word of Truth baptism is a topic that you have to rightly divide okay so as God's workmen our job is to be expositors of God's word y'all know what an Expositor is an Expositor a person or thing that explains complicated ideas or theories this is what God has called us to do this is the reason why in the Christian World they have something called expository preaching let's look at that definition the definition of Expositor a person or thing that explains complicated ideas or theories see that's what we have to know how to do we have to be able to know how to be able to expository preach go to the expository preaching second box please expository preaching expository preaching also known as exposit exposure expositional expositional preaching now some of you Brothers in the Psalm 33 are familiar with this when we speak about Exige exegesis Jesus this is expiratory preaching expository preaching it says expository preaching also known as expositional preaching read is a form of preaching that details the meaning of a particular text or passage of scripture it explains what the Bible means by what it says exactly so let's explain baptism what is baptism all about now before we go into the scriptures I want us to look up the definition of the word okay I want y'all to see for yourselves what does the word baptism mean what where does the word baptism come from all right I want you all to check this out we're looking at the definition of the word baptizo okay baptizo to dip repeatedly to immerse to submerge a vessel sunk to cleanse by dipping or submerging to wash to make clean with water to wash oneself bathe to overwhelm not to be confused with 911 back toe so I want y'all to notice this y'all see where my mouse is at right now you'll notice there's a Strong's number right next to this definition when you look at the word baptize okay I'm gonna let me zoom in on this for y'all so that way y'all could see it and follow along easily when you look up the definition of the word baptize the word baptize comes from the Greek word baptizo and it says not to be confused with 9 11 baptos so when you look at the Strong's number right here for baptizo it's 907 it's saying don't confuse 907 with 9 11. nope don't confuse the word baptizo with bacto from baptizo we get baptized not to be confused with 911 bapto the clearest example that shows the meaning of baptizo is a text from the Greek poet and physician nikander who lived about 200 BC it is a recipe for making pickles and is helpful because it uses both words nikander says that in order to make a pickle the vegetables should first be dipped bapt into boiling water and then baptized in the vinegar solution both verbs concern the immersing of vegetables in a solution but the first is temporary we got to run that back wait a minute wait a minute we gotta run that back nycander says that in order to make a pickle the vegetables should be should first be dipped baptol into boiling water and then baptized in the vinegar solution both verbs concern the immersing of vegetables in a solution but the first is temporary the second the act of baptizing the vegetable produces a permanent change when used in the New Testament this word more often refers to our Union and identification with Christ then to our water baptism when these are the scholars talking it says the second the act of baptizing the vegetable produces a permanent change when used in the New Testament the word more often refers to our Union and identification with Christ than to our water baptism for example Mark 16 16 he that believes and is baptized shall be saved Christ is saying that mere intellectual assent is not enough no there must be a union with him a real change like the vegetable to the pickle so I want y'all to understand this comes from the scholars if we want to understand baptism we must understand the word what does it mean to be baptized let's go to Matthew chapter 3 and verse 1. let me say this I want you all to hold that thought it should not be confused with another word bacto nope back toe is temporary a true baptism must be a genuine transformation and Union with Christ like the change from a vegetable to a pickle the lasting change is brought about by a true baptism So today we're going to go over the baptism of John versus the baptism of Christ understanding what they both mean Matthew chapter 3 and verse 1 Matthew chapter 3 verse 1. and those days Came John the Baptist preaching in the wilderness of Judea and saying repent ye for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand let's start again verse one verse one and those days Came John the Baptist preaching in the wilderness of Judea and saying repent ye for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand now these verses introduces us to the minister of John the these verses highlights the beginning of John the Baptist ministry what was his Central message verse 2 and saying repent ye for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand in John's Ministry he called on the people to repent which means to turn away from your sins change your heart and your actions the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand in other words John the Baptist ministry was ordained to prepare the people for the arrival of the Messiah Jesus the Christ John's preaching in the wilderness symbolized our journey of turning away from our Disobedience and preparing for New Beginnings similar to the time of Moses and Elijah John preached from the Wilderness because that symbolized us leaving behind our worldly distractions and Comforts of Our Lives to seek a deeper and more humble connection with God let's look at this verse 5. Matthew chapter 3 verse 5. then went out to him Jerusalem and all Judea and all the region round about Jordan and were baptized of him and Jordan confessing their sins now I want you to know something when we look at verse 5. it says then went out to him Jerusalem and all Judea and all the region round about Jordan in other words John the Baptist's message had a large impact John the Baptist when he preached he could draw crowds of people from all around now when you go to verse six it's making it known that in this baptism and were baptized of him in Jordan confessing their sins as part of the preparation for baptism people publicly confessed their sins how do Christians do this now when they don't even know what sin is we're reading about baptism in the New Testament can you read verse six again please yes sir Matthew Chapter 3 Verse 6 and we're baptized of him and Jordan confessing their sins as part of their preparation for baptism after they heard John's Ministry they had to give a public confession of sins how do Christians do this now for their baptisms when they don't even know what sin is what is sin according to the Bible let's get that first John chapter 3 and verse 4. now before we move I just want y'all to notice the table at the right the baptism by John the method of John's baptism was using water the purpose of John's baptism was to symbolize repentance from sins and to prepare Believers for the coming of the Messiah once again when we read about baptism in the Bible there are Specific Instructions we would seek to be dipped in the water but before we were dipped in the water we had to make an open confession of our sins but how do Christians do that now if they don't know what sin is First John chapter 3 verse 4 the book of First John chapter 3 verse 4 whosoever committed sin transgressive also the law for sin is the transgression of the law sin is when you break God's laws before baptisms were done in the Bible you had to confess what laws you'd broken openly you confessed openly that if you broke God's laws you did wrong but how do Christians do this now if they don't know what laws they're breaking in the first place we got to make this make sense how do they do this now if they see nothing wrong with breaking the laws of God in their actions they think keeping God's laws is wrong but sin is the transgression of the law so when we read about baptism in the New Testament we're reading about people who made an open confession about the laws they broke before they were dunked in the water here's an example of how modern Christians perform baptism watch this you see this this was based upon a baptism that happened in California just a very short clip and they boasted 4 000 Souls were baptized in one day going far beyond the cheapest of Apostles negro please prior to being dipped in water did she openly confess that she had broken the laws nope did she give an open confession of The Commandments that she had broken in her life nope did her pastor teach her about the Commandments in the New Testament for women to be dressed in modest apparel and not in booty shorts for the world to see this is not a baptism according to the Bible getting baptized is about more than being dipped in water and saying that you love Jesus it's about understanding the sins that you've committed and turning away from them before you're submerged prime example let's go to Jeremiah the second chapter Jeremiah chapter 2 verse 22. for though thou wash thee with nitry and take thee much soap yet thine iniquity is marked before thee saith the Lord God saith who the Lord God no saith Uzziah saith the Lord God so according to the word of God it's possible that you can cleanse yourself outwardly but your sins are still present inwardly this was the problem God described how people would make outward efforts to cleanse themselves while still being in iniquity nitry was a part of the cleansing rituals in the days of old water baptism is a ritual so here when we read in Jeremiah 2 and verse 22 it says what though thou wash thee with nitrate and take thee much soap yet thine iniquity is marked before thee saith the Lord God they would use soap and cleansing powder to appear righteous on the outside just like water baptisms in the Christian church they're not actually teaching the people to turn from breaking the law as John the Baptist did nope it's just an outward showing of righteousness let's look at the definition of the word facade the definition of the word facade the face of a building especially the principal front that looks onto a street or open space come on an outward appearance that is maintained to conceal a Less Pleasant or credible reality despite the outward showing of purity God says he can see through the facade you look holy but you're still freely breaking the Commandments that's why this says what it says for though thou wash thee with nitri and take thee much so you cleaned yourself on the outside and you look real good yet thine iniquity is marked before me saith the Lord God you're eating pork but claiming you're baptized you're breaking the Sabbath but claiming you're baptized you're willfully transgressing the laws of the most high God while claiming to be washed away of your sins God wants true repentance not a show of repentance nope that's why confessing and turning from the sin was a pre-requisite prior to the baptism ceremony now let's go back to Matthew chapter 3 verse 1. Matthew chapter 3 verse 1. in those days Came John the Baptist preaching in the wilderness of judeo and saying repent ye for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand before they got dipped in water he preached to the people and told them to stop breaking the laws of God John held them accountable he wasn't just letting them go in there oh willy-nilly nope before they ever got dipped in the water from him he told them that they must stop breaking God's laws read on verse 5 then went out to him Jerusalem and all Judea and all the region round about Jordan and were baptized of him in Jordan confessing their sins remember during the time of our forefather Joshua our four parents had crossed the Jordan River leaving the Wilderness and going into the promised land y'all remember that that represents you being on A New Path in baptism you're not doing the same things you've always done nope now you're moving differently with a change of heart come on verse seven but when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees come to his baptism he said unto them old Generation of Vipers who have warned you to flee from the Wrath to come now the Pharisees and the Sadducees were known for their hypocrisy the Pharisees were obsessed with doing things outwardly to show righteousness but inwardly they didn't have a mind towards God nope that's why John the Baptist is confronting them when they came to the baptism he didn't just want them to go into the water for the hell of it he didn't want them taking a righteous act and turning it into a facade read verse 8 after John uh speaks to him verse 8 I'm sorry let's read verse 7 again verse 7. but when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees come to his baptism Hypocrites that were known for the outward showing of things while having inward sins read he said unto them old Generation of Vipers who have warned you to flee from the Wrath to come come on he was wondering what their motives were were they sincere read bring forth therefore fruits meet for repentance when the scribes and the Pharisees came the Pharisees and Sadducees they couldn't just say I want to be baptized nope they had to show it with their actions they had to change their ways before they got dipped the word repent means change what changes you hold that let's go to Psalm chapter 19 and verse 7. this is Psalms chapter 19 verse 7 the law of the Lord is perfect converting the soul can you read the definition of the word convert Elder the definition of the word convert calls to change and form character or function wait a minute wait a minute wait a minute wait a minute we got to run that back John the Baptist who instituted autism said repent repent for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand he didn't just let people go into the water however they want it nope he told them bring forth fruits meet for repentance now the intelligent question to ask is what is the definition of repent repent is change when you repent of something you're changing your heart you're turning from your sins you gotta change your ways what changes you read Psalms chapter 19 verse 7 the law of the Lord is perfect converting the soul come on the testimony of the Lord is sure making wise the simple God's laws has the power to change a person God's laws has the power to transform a person better believe it it says converting the soul because it changes the inner you not just the outer you nope that's why we had to do this first before getting dunked in water can you read the definition of convert again please Elder yes sir the definition of convert cause to change inform character or function come on change one's religious Faith or other beliefs a person who has been persuaded to change their religious Faith or other beliefs God says his loss it changes you that's repentance hold on let's go to Psalms chapter 119 and verse 9. some of y'all might not be convinced Psalms chapter 119 verse 9 wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his ways this is a question what is the path to purity how does someone lead a Pure Life wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way what's the answer by taking heed thereto according to Thy Word that's how you're made pure you're made pure by the word of God more specifically with my whole heart have I sought thee oh let me not Wander from thy Commandments following God's Commandments is the key to a Pure Life that's literally what the verse is saying can you read that again verse nine yes sir Psalms chapter 119 verse 9 wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way what is the way to purity how does someone lead a Pure Life wherewith all shall a young man cleanse his way read by taking heed thereto according to Thy Word by taking heed according to Thy word read with my whole heart have I sought thee oh let me not Wander from thy commandment see that I was fully immersed in the word of God and y'all are going to see that on your own in today's lesson following God's Commandments is the key to being pure this is what the Bible is saying not following the Commandments half-heartedly nope with my whole heart have I sought thee oh let me not Wander from thy Commandments we have to keep God's Commandments wholeheartedly this is what keeps us on our course we're cleansed through applying the Commandments verse 11. verse 11 Thy word have I hid in my heart you know what it means when it says Thy word have I hid in your heart it means that you protect it you treasure it unless the devil wants to steal it from you unless the devil wants to take away the word that's been sown in your heart read it again Thy word have I hid in my heart see you've internalized the word that's why it's in your heart it's an inward thing not an outward thing nope it's a transformation of your behavior through the scripture that's how we clean ourselves in the sight of God but now I want us to go back to the New Testament Matthew chapter 3 verse 13. Matthew chapter 3 verse 13. yes I see the comments one of The Commandments is being baptized in the name of yahuwah Shai for the remission of sins oh don't think that we're not going to touch on that nope we listen we're going to be covering a lot of ground today y'all just get comfortable okay so let's go back to the scriptures what I need y'all to do I just need y'all to listen and take notes many of the questions and comments that you have along with rebuttals is going to be addressed during the course of today's lesson have patience my people examine first then judge that's also a commandment read it again Matthew chapter 3 verse 13 then cometh Jesus From Galilee to Jordan unto John to be baptized of him now this was the beginning of Christ Ministry Reed but John forbade him saying I have need to be baptized of thee and cometh thou to me John the Baptist is telling Christ you coming to me to get baptized but you don't break the laws of God nope you don't need baptism from me I should be the one getting it from you read verse 15 and Jesus answering said unto him suffer it to be so now for thus it becometh us to fulfill our righteousness meaning what Christ came for sinners so although he himself walked without sin he was baptized for the sins of the people read then he suffered him come on verse 16. and Jesus and Jesus when he was baptized went up straight way out of the water and lo the heavens were opened unto him and he saw the spirit of God descending like a dove and lighting upon him now here a miracle occurs this is through the water baptism come on verse 17 and lo of voice from Heaven saying this is my beloved Son and whom I am well pleased this is Christ's anointed to proceed with his mission this marks the beginning of his ministry now we now have an understanding of baptism by John but now we're going to go to John chapter 3 verse 30. John chapter 3 verse 30. remember John the Baptist's role was to prepare the way for Christ now that Christ is here Yahweh Shai he is the ultimate Authority for salvation on Earth read John chapter 3 verse 30. he must increase but how is shy must increase but I must decrease but I must decrease now that Christ is on the Earth proceeding onward in the ministry now John the Baptist rule must diminish but before he fell back he spoke about the difference between his baptism versus the baptism that Christ will administer let's look at Matthew chapter 3 and verse 11. Matthew chapter 3 verse 11. I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance John explains that his baptism is a symbolic act using water but he that cometh after me is mightier than I John is acknowledging that Christ has all authority John the Baptist is making it known my Ministry was Preparatory for the coming of the Messiah but when it comes to the Messiah I'm not worthy to bear his shoes I baptize you with water for repentance and that baptism was a symbolic act that was using water the baptism of repentance that signified your commitment to turning away from your sins and seeking the Forgiveness of God John's baptism was a preparation for the arrival of the Messiah let's read it again Matthew chapter 3 verse 11. I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance but he that cometh after me is mightier than I whose shoes I am not worthy to Bear he has a heavier office read he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost and with fire he's not going to purify you with water nope he's going to purify you with the Holy Ghost and with fire the Holy Ghost is also known as the Holy Spirit now brothers and sisters I want you all to take note of what's highlighted on the screen uh the baptism by Christ method through the Holy Spirit and fire we just read the scripture for proof there are 12 purposes that are listed showing how Christ's baptism was different than John's baptism number one to signify a union with Christ to experience spiritual rebirth through the Holy Spirit to transform Believers inwardly to resemble Christ to empower them to serve as Ministers of Christ to symbolize the Forgiveness of sins to gain a deeper understanding of God's word to undergo an internal transformation by the Holy Spirit to immerse Believers into Christ's presence to publicly accept Christ as Lord and Savior to profess belief in his death burial and Resurrection to examine and confirm genuine faith to receive the indwelling gift of the Holy Spirit remember when we read about the baptism by John that was for the repentance of sins and the preparation for the Messiah to come now the Messiah has come and now his baptism has a different purpose that's what we read about in the scriptures but hold that because I know someone's going to ask well didn't Christ say something about water yes let's go to John chapter 3 and verse 1. John chapter 3 verse 1. there was a man of the Pharisees named Nicodemus a ruler of the Jews the same came to Jesus by night and said unto him Rabbi we know that thou art a teacher come from God for no man can do these Miracles that thou doest except God be with him come on Jesus answered and said unto him verily verily I say unto thee except a man be born again he cannot see the kingdom of God if you want the kingdom you must be born again read on verse 4 Nicodemus saith unto him how can a man be born when he is old can he enter the second time into his mother's womb and be born when Christ told Nicodemus except the man be born again Nicodemus is thinking of a physical birth nope how can one be born again in a physical sense verse 5 Jesus answered verily verily I say unto thee except a man be born of water and of the spirit he cannot enter into the kingdom of God now you have some Israelites who believe that this is talking about water baptism exclusively they'll say no one can unless they're water baptized nope if that's the case how do you explain this let's go that to Luke chapter 23. Luke chapter 23 verse 32. and there were also two other malfactors LED with him to be put to death malefactor means an evil doer a criminal come on and when they will come to the place which is called Calvary There They Crucified him and the malefacturers one on the right hand and the other on the left and one of the mouth factors which were hanging railed on him saying if thou be Christ save thyself and us now I want you all to notice something this malefactor in verse 39 represents the unbeliever who's focused on the world read verse 40. but the other answering rebuked him saying this does not thou fear God sing Thou Art in the same condemnation and we indeed justly for we receive the due reward of our Deeds but this man have done nothing amidst now this malefactor he acknowledged his evil he confessed his wrongdoing and we indeed justly for we receive the Dual reward of our Deeds but this man had done nothing amiss read and he said unto and he said unto Jesus Lord remember me when thou cometh into thy kingdom this malefactor represents the believer who's focused on the kingdom now remember accept the man be born of water and of the spirit he should not see the kingdom foreign who believe that the water in that verse is referring strictly to water baptism unless you get a water baptism in Yahweh Shai's name you cannot be saved nope read on and he said unto Jesus Lord remember wait remember me when thou cometh into thy kingdom and Jesus said unto him verily I say unto thee today shalt thou be with me in Paradise wait a minute wait a minute we gotta run that back notice the malefactor who believed the Lord well you didn't get why the kingdom sorry he didn't say let's get off the cross real quick so I can water baptize you first so you can get the kingdom with all thy getting get understanding without the water baptism he told him today shall thou be with me in Paradise he promised this man a spot in the Kingdom so that contradicts the idea that everybody has to be water baptized in order to be saved this is why you have to rightly divide you know we've had people leave true Spirit of Christ telling us guys Shalom I love everything about this church but I can't Fellowship here anymore why because y'all don't teach that everyone must get water baptized because you don't teach that every single person must get water baptized this is the reason why I must leave the church so that means people on their Death Beds can't get the kingdom nope people who live out in the desert can't get the kingdom some people who are in prisons can't get the kingdom that's not rightly dividing the word we know that the Lord is full of grace and mercy and there's going to be people that are in different circumstances where a true water baptism as outlined in the scriptures may not be feasible for them we just read about an example right here can you read that again yes sir this is Luke chapter 23 verse 40. but the other answering rebuked him saying does not thou fear God seeing Thou Art in the same condemnation come on and we indeed just leave for we receive the new reward of our Deeds this man fears God he acknowledges wrong doings read but this man have done nothing amidst and he confessed the truth about the Messiah read and he said unto Jesus Lord acknowledging his authority remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom this man heard the truth so now leave it up to you you're going to say oh well since he's nailed to this cross I guess he can't get the Kingdom right nope Jesus says Yahweh Shai says verily I say unto thee surely I say unto you even though we just read in math uh John chapter 3 except a man be born of water and of the spirit he cannot enter the kingdom of God surely he's saying right here today shalt thou be with me in Paradise so obviously John 3 means something else obviously it means something else if we rightly divide the word see you could quote precepts and the people that don't know nothing they'll say oh man I just that's just what it says bro I guess we just got to leave the church now because everybody's not getting dunked in water and to be clear brothers and sisters we're not against water baptism we encourage it but we just don't teach that it's mandatory for everyone to do and tell them if you don't do it you won't get the kingdom we don't teach that because the scriptures say otherwise we just showed you the proof right there let's hold that let's go to Mark chapter 16 and verse 16. Mark chapter 16 verse 16. he that believeth and is baptized shall be saved but he that believeth not shall be dead rejecting Christ and his message leads to death notice how this verse is worded heed that believeth and is baptized shall be saved but he that believeth not shall be damned he that believeth and is baptized shall be saved the reason why belief is mentioned first at the beginning of the verse is because that's the primary key to Salvation regardless of your ability to be water baptized also we should not assume that just because it uses the word baptize that it refers to a water baptism look at this Matthew chapter 20 verse 20. Matthew chapter 20 verse 20. then came to him the mother of zebedee's children with her sons worshiping him and Desiring a certain thing of him and he said unto her What wilt thou she said unto him grant that these my two sons May sit the one on thy right hand and the other on the left in thy kingdom she wanted her sons to have position of honor and Authority in the Kingdom read but Jesus answered and said ye know not what he asked come on are you able to drink of the cup that I shall drink of and to be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with wait a minute wait a minute we gotta run that back now when he's talking about being baptized here it's not talking about getting dipped in water the way that Christ was dipped in water that's not the challenge nope the challenge is suffering the experiences of yahuwashai can you suffer my experiences can you read again yeah yes sir verse 22 but Jesus answered and said ye know not what ye ask are you able to drink of the cup that I shall drink of and to be baptized of the baptism that I am baptized with because remember James the son of Zebedee was the first of the 12 disciples that was put to death he was fully immersed in suffering this baptism is about suffering Christ showed them that there was a deeper meaning behind the baptism that he was referring to he wasn't talking about water nope he was talking about undergoing an experience that would change their life for good that's the reason why he said you sure you ready for this it wasn't the Big Challenge oh man are you sure that you're ready to go into this Jordan River I'm just going to dip you right here that's going to be the real bit scare that wasn't it so when you see the word baptize do not presume that it's always making reference to the water baptism that we read about beginning through the ministry of John the Baptist now that we know that let's go back now to John chapter 3 verse 3. John chapter 3 verse 3. Jesus answered and said unto him verily verily I say unto thee except a man be born again he cannot see the kingdom of God if you want the kingdom you must be born again Nicodemus said unto him how can a man be born when he is old can he enter the second time into his mother's womb and be born Nicodemus is thinking of a physical birth how can one be born again physical sense we must read in context read verse 5 Jesus answered verily verily I say unto thee except a man be born of water and of the spirit he cannot enter into the kingdom of God in a physical birth you are born of water in a spiritual birth you are transformed by the Holy Spirit read verse 6. verse 6. that which is born of flesh is flesh do y'all see the context physical birth spiritual birth the verses before it and the verses after it clearly shows he's drawing a parallel that which is born of the flesh meaning a physical birth and that which is born of the spirit that which is born of the flesh is flesh and that which is born of the spirit is Spirit these are two different things read verse seven Marvel not that I said unto thee ye must be born again you cannot get the kingdom through a physical birth only nope you have to experience a spiritual transformation in Jesus Christ he that hath an ear let him hear so if the spirit is what gives us life what is the spirit John chapter 6 verse 63. John chapter 6 verse 63. it is the spirit that quickeneth the flesh profit of nothing the words that I speak unto you they are spirit and they are life once again Christ is comparing the Physical Realm with the spiritual it is the spirit that quickeneth the flesh that profiteth nothing the spirit gives you life the flesh won't give you salvation nope the words that I speak unto you they are what they are spirit and they are life the word gives you life the word gives you transformation the word gives you power that's what we must receive we must hear the words of Christ in order for us to receive eternal life look at John chapter 15 verse 3. John chapter 15 verse 3. now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you pretty simple right how are they clean Elder Joaquin now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you they're clean through the transformative power of Christ's teachings when you Embrace The Words of Christ that are in the Bible and stop bucking against it it has the power to change your heart he that believeth on me as the scripture have said out of his belly shall flow rivers of Living Water we have to be obedient to his word we have to rightly divide the word that's what this is saying when you were cleansed the true cleansing and baptism was through the transformation of the word he must increase I must decrease it's not the same as John the Baptist baptism nope there's a difference Ephesians chapter 5 verse 25. Ephesians chapter 5 verse 25 husbands love your wives even as Christ also loved the church and gave himself for it that he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of the water ah I don't even want to hit him with that just yet don't even say it don't even say it okay take it easy on them Elder all right all right not too much too fast that he in verse 26 is Christ the it this verse is the church can you read it again yes sir verse 26 that he might sanctify that Christ might sanctify and cleanse it and cleanse the church with the washing through the washing of water by the word feed solitaire the goal is for Christ to sanctify and cleanse the church through the word of God we're the Church of God are we not we're going to be cleansed and made whole through his word how is Christ going to watch the church Elder yakim is it going to be a physical washing nope nope it's the washing of Water by the word the word has the power to cleanse us continually not just in a one-time ceremony we're renewed by the Lord's mercies daily because declared in the Book of Joshua that we're supposed to be in this word day and night and in it we'll have great success the word has the power to to cleanse us on a regular basis not just in a one-time ritual again let's go back to the meaning of the word baptism I need y'all to see this for yourself baptism the word baptism comes from the Greek word baptizo what does baptizo mean baptizo to dip repeatedly to immerse to submerge a vessel sunk to cleanse by dipping or submerging to wash to make clean with water to wash oneself bathe to overwhelm not to be confused with 911 bateau the clearest example that shows the meaning of baptizo is a text from the Greek poet and physician Knight Kinder who lived about 200 BC it is a recipe for making pickles and is helpful because it uses both words nikander says that in order to make a pickle this is for all my Cooks out there the vegetables should first be dipped bathtub into boiling water and then baptized baptizo in the vinegar solution both verbs concern the immersing of vegetables in a solution but the first is temporary the second act the second the act of baptizing the vegetable produces a permanent change when the Bible is speaking about a true baptism speaking about a permanent change it's not exclusive to a one-time event when used in the New Testament this comes from the scholars we're on biblestudytools.com when used in the New Testament the word more often refers to our Union and identification with Christ then to our water baptism why are the scholars making this distinction the reason why they're making this distinction is because they know that there are times where baptism is referring to the method of water but when used in the New Testament this word more often refers to our Union and identification with Christ then to our water baptism for example Mark chapter 16 verse 16 he that believes and is baptized shall be saved Christ is saying that mere intellectual assent is not enough nope there must be a union with him a real change like the vegetable to the pickle the vegetable go into the pickle is a transformation it's not a one-time thing so brothers sisters I need y'all to understand this is what baptism is all about and I want you to remember what the scholar said mere intellectual crisis saying that mere intellectual assent is not enough nope there must be a union with him a real change like the vegetable to the pickle in other words you can't just say that you believe in Christ you have to change your ways and walk like him you have to surrender your life and follow his teachings and his example hold that let's go to Ecclesiastes chapter 32 and verse 24. if y'all following let me know that y'all are following smash that like button ecclesiasticals chapter 32 verse 24 he that believeth in the lord taketh heed to the Commandment wait a minute wait a minute we gotta run that back you say that you believe in the Lord right but do your actions show it he that believeth in the lord taketh heed to the Commandment Christians do this all the time they'll say I believe in the Lord I believe that Jesus Christ is Lord and Savior but they won't take heed to the Commandments he that believeth in the Lord take heed to the Commandment the question is do you really believe that's the million dollar question do you really believe and take heed to the Commandments or is it just lip service true belief in the Lord is your willingness to pay attention to and follow his Commandments because actions speak louder than words genuine Faith goes beyond words it's found in your actions Faith isn't something that's passive nope well you just claim to have it but it never shows show your faith by your Works faith without works is dead if you have genuine faith in Christ you'll be obedient to his Commandments can you read that one more time yes sir ecclesiasticus chapter 32 verse 24 he that believeth in the lord taketh he to the command and I got to put that comment on the screen just lip service they talk a good game but won't put in the work to get into the game speak Charlotte God is saying you gotta walk it like you're talking if you really believe in the Lord take heed to his Commandments can you read that one more time you know Israel they hard of hearing you got to keep repeating that thing for him Elder let it sink in he that believeth in the lord taketh he to the command read on and he that trusteth in him shall fare never the word you know why it says he that trusteth in him shall never fare the worse because many people who claim to believe in the Lord feel that keeping the Commandments is a burden what you keep the Sabbath you're not fun anymore bro y'all know Chief uh Ambassador shamas favorite I'm not who I used to be claim to love God really hate him because every time he tells you to do something you despise it you're not immersed in this it's like a burden to you it's such a grievous thing to you that the Lord has to promise you that if you just trust in him and take heed to the Commandments that it's going to be for your good the black community is so perverted that you get demonized for telling people thou shall not steal thou shall not kill these are the Commandments you know you would think that the elderly of our people would be the ones leading this message for our community to follow nope since they claim to be immersed in the word longer than I have they say they love the Lord but every time you tell them to keep the Commandments it's Grievous can you read that one more time Ecclesiastes chapter 32 verse 24 he that believeth in the lord taketh he to the Commandment now God's not a man that he should lie right so either God is lying or you're lying God says true belief in the Lord is when you're taking he to his Commandments so if you believe in the Lord like you say you do repent he that believeth in the lord taketh heed to the Commandment read and he that trusteth in him shall fare never the worst because you have to trust that by you applying God's laws turning away from your way of doing things it's going to be your protection and Security in your life but let's go back now to the New Testament because you all know y'all be quick to say oh that ain't in the New Testament nope read the New Testament here's a new testament for you first John chapter 5 verse 3. first John chapter 5 verse 3 for this is the love of God see God defines What Love Is he doesn't need you're made aversion of how you want to love him nope he's going to tell you how to love him read it again for this is the love of God that we keep his Commandments be challenging that's in your Bible First John chapter 5 verse 3 almost at the end of the book at the tail end real love for God is when you keep his Commandments fake love for God is when you say you love him but hate his Commandments can I say that again please do real love for God is when you keep his Commandments for this is the love of God that we keep his Commandments fake love for God is when you're out here saying that you love the Lord but you hate his Commandments every time you demonstrate your love for God by keeping the Commandments love is an action so instead of viewing the Commandments as a burden trust in it you rejoice in it you love it but do you know the only kinds of people who think like that those that are immersed into the word of God only then are you truly baptized Chief Ambassador you have something you wanted to bring out Hot Topic yes sir yeah you you pretty much got it because I really wanted to make that point it's not about you just keeping the Commandments you got to keep them and then not be Grievous to you so it's actually levels to it a lot of us are in this truth and we're keeping the Commandments but certain levels certain of them may be a little Grievous to us so when you actually go into that process of units you saying baptized change then it won't be Grievous to you so you got to sit there and see where you're at and just you know let the scripture meditate in your spirit I mean he'd have an ear let him hear I'm reading out of your Bible let's go to the definition of the word immerse because that's what baptizo means it means to be immersed immerse this is the definition of immerse dip or submerged in a liquid that's the one y'all want to stick with getting dipped in water we read about that already through the ministry of John come on definition two involve oneself deeply in a particular activity or interest this is the part that you lack see you can tell when somebody is truly immersed when someone is truly immersed they're on fire for this word you can tell when someone is not immersed because they got a million excuses as to why they won't keep the Commandments for God in the New Testament to show them the Commandments they hate to hear it you should love to hear if you're fully immersed in the word of God how could that be so if you put worldly things before the truth seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you talk is cheap brothers and sisters the Lord will reveal who you really are let's look at the next definition of immerse I'ma pull this up what does it mean to be immersed in the word of God immerse if you immerse yourself in something that you are doing you become completely involved in it there here's an example their commitments do not permit them to immerse themselves in current affairs as fully as they might wish this is the story of Israel Israel will look you dead in the face Chief Ambassador Sharma and they will tell you that they're immersed in this get offended if you see differently Israel will look at you with a straight face and boldly tell you that they're immersed in the word even though when you look at the definition of the word immerse the example sentence is their commitments their worldly things do not permit them to immerse themselves in current affairs as fully as they might wish first he's really becoming immersed in his work no ye not that I must be about my father's business look at the synonyms engrossed we have to be engrossed in this world we have to be obsessed with this work involved we got to be involved in this thing T brother Roy we could just can't be watching from the sideline nope we have to be absorbed we got to be consumed by this word deep this must be deep within our heart that's the reason why baptism is about a full immersion into yahuwah Shai we have to make a full death of getting into these scriptures man this is not just something that we can do part-time lovers we have to really be about this truth man because that's the only way that the Lord is really seeing our look we must be immersed into the word of the most high God and if you're not doing anything to push this truth outside of watching me on the Sabbath you're not immersed if you're not doing anything to push this truth outside of watching me in Comfort on the Sabbath you're not immersed immerse is you fully submerging yourself into this Vineyard if you're doing everything else but pushing this truth you're not immersed we have to be fully immersed in this truth to be cleansed Chief brother Roy he has a comment Hot Topic brothers and sisters make sure that y'all continue to share this class this is something that everyone needs to hear a lot of your Christian family members think that they're getting a baptism when they just go into a hole and just get dipped in a pool that's not the baptism that the Bible is talking about nope we got a question a little bit earlier from the sister Keziah what about a baby because you know this is something that they do again it's a show okay I'm gonna dedicate my child how can you dedicate the child when the child doesn't even know the law yet this is about having full awareness of your sins and turning from them Christ was dipped in water because he took on the sins of the people Chief brother Roy yes Shalom uh Chief Elder and Elder uh Happy Sabbath so um it's it's pretty heavy to hit me right now because you're talking about all this uh immersion and all that stuff and so if if he's commanding us to keep the Commandments to be blessed he also commands our environment nature around us to bless us if we do so right so it's just all working together so he gives us the commandment and not only that but the Commandment to Nature around us as well absolutely you have to be in the right environment look at what uh barzaya says this has been made too plain so if you don't see it you don't want to see it it ain't because it ain't clear to you nope he didn't have an ear let him hear remember as workmen we must be expositors of this truth Chief brother Roy he already stated you got to be in the right environment okay when you think about a water baptism right that means that you got to put yourself in the water you have to be in the presence of water to get dunked in the water you have to be in the right environment for the immersion to take place there has to be enough water for you to get immersed into it so you got to be so deep within this word it's enough to consume your time a lot of you on all of y'all's free time you're watching porno on a lot of your free time you're thinking about things of the world man Basketball Wives you know all kind of um sinful things the Bible tells us that the wisdom of the of a learned man comes by the opportunity of leisure and he that have little business shall be wise you gotta get yourself dedicated to this get fully immersed in this now let's get back to the word of God Mark chapter 1 and verse 8. Mark chapter 1 verse 8 I indeed have baptized you with water John the Baptist is talking I indeed have baptized you with water that's what I did read but he but he yeah Christ read shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost it's right there he's gonna baptize you with the Holy Ghost what is sin transgression of the law what is the Holy Ghost if we're going to be baptized with the Holy Ghost we ought to know what it is John the Baptist immersed us into water Christ is immersing us into his word let's go to Acts chapter 7 and verse 51. Acts chapter 7 verse 51 ye stiffness and uncircumcised in heart and ears the Apostle Stefan is telling the religious leaders your stiff neck and uncircumcised in heart and ear read ye do always resist the Holy Ghost and that's why you resist the Holy Ghost because you're stiff-necked you're stiff-necking and uncircumcised in heart and ear that's why you resist the Holy Ghost what is their heart and ear resisting the word of God you always resist the word of God the word is the Holy Ghost read it again verse 51 ye stiff-necked and uncircumcised and hardened ears circumcise means to cleanse what cleanses the heart being dipped in water nope the word of God God's Commandments that's what circumcises the heart so you could clean your outward body through water but the inward cleaning must come from this this is where the real transformation happens now you are clean through the word that I have spoken unto you the word of God God's Commandments can you read this one more time yes sir Acts chapter 7 verse 51 ye stiffness and uncircumcised in heart and ears ye do always resist the Holy Ghost you had a stubbornness to receive the word read as your fathers did so do ye the same way that your fathers rejected the word so do you what were the fathers of the religious leaders always resisting God's Commandments prior to this time in the Acts of the Apostles Stefan is speaking to the religious leaders what were the fathers of the religious leaders at that time resisting God's Commandments verse 52 now verse 52 which of the prophets have not your fathers persecuted when the prophets came on the earth what were they teaching keep God's Commandments our fourth our forefathers rejected the prophets and they rejected Christ now see a lot of our people in the modern days say well I don't reject Christ nope I accept Christ as my Lord and Savior watch this first John chapter 2 verse 4. you say that you accept Christ you say that with your mouth but I want you to notice what's written right here first John chapter 2 verse 4 he that saith I know him you're that same I love the Lord I have a personal relationship with God read and keep it not his Commandments is a liar and the truth is not in him I didn't say it don't get mad at me I'm just the messenger our people always rejected the Commandments of God that's why Stefan is getting on them let's go back now Acts chapter 7. you say that you you say you accept Christ with your mouth but your actions show differently when you reject the Commandments you reject Christ said if you love me keep my Commandments that's in the Book of John Chapter 14 verse 15. why does it say if you love me in that verse because people lie Charlotte they'll say they love Christ but they're not obedient to his Commandments that's why the Bible says believe not every Spirit but try the Spirit by the spirit to see if they are of God bring this word out and watch what happens God's words not mine anyone could talk a good one True Believers will show their faith by their Works back to Acts chapter 7. Acts chapter 7 verse 51 ye stiffness and uncircumcised in heart and ears you do always resist the Holy Ghost you always resist the word of God God's laws as your fathers did so do ye read which of the prophets have not your fathers persecuted every time God sent his Messengers on Earth to teach you the law you rejected him including Christ but now you just lie and say that you do believe on Christ instead of flat out rejecting him like the scribes and Pharisees you ain't fooling us over here read which of the prophets have not your fathers persecuted which one Christ himself was a prophet which one because they all came to teach God's Commandments read and they have slain them which showed before of the coming of the just one that's Christ come on of whom ye have been now the betrayers and murderers read notice what Stefan is telling the religious leaders after Christ was crucified verse 53 who have received the law by the disposition of angels and have not kept it read it again who have received the law by the disposition of angels and have not kept it Stefan is telling the men of that time you receive the law and have not kept it the same way our forefathers did that you're doing that today this is the holy ghost that you're resisting so now with all of that context in mind now let's go to Matthew 28 verse 18. Matthew chapter 28 verse 18 and Jesus came and spake unto them saying all power is given unto me in heaven and in Earth go ye therefore and teach All Nations baptizing them in the name of the father and of the son and of the Holy Ghost let's bring that back verse 19. go ye therefore and teach All Nations and do what and teach All Nations teach go ye therefore and teach All Nations teaching them how by immersing them fully into the word through the teachings of the father and his son spread the word I want you all to notice something there's a colon at the end of the 19th verse I need my brothers grab the mic what does a colon represent when you read it verse 19 let's start again at Verse 18 at the top just so that everyone is clear because this is the number one verse that Christians will use to say see you're supposed to be giving everybody the water baptism and go and teach All Nations go ahead Verse 18 and Jesus came and spake unto them saying all power is given unto me in heaven and in Earth go ye therefore and teach All Nations go and teach go and teach them how by immersing them into the word so let's go through the teachings of the father and his son because there was many of our people prior to this time that did not know about the Sun they didn't know about the sun they had to learn it they had to learn his teachings they had to learn his Commandments go therefore to All Nations and teach All Nations baptizing them in the name of the father and of the son and of the Holy Ghost we gotta spread this truth man y'all think that we just be telling you to share this class Just for kicks is because we're trying to apply the Commandments so that we can baptize brothers and sisters in the name of yahuwah Shai as it is written read on go ye therefore and teach All Nations baptizing them in the name of the father and of the son and of the Holy Ghost teaching them to I'm sorry I'm sorry I'm sorry don't let me get ahead of myself Chief brother Roy there's a colon at the end of the 19th verse what does the punctuation mark colon represent is it when it takes two separate statements and and relates them together that's a semicolon what is a colon someone can help Chief Ambassador Sharma what is a colon see this is very important Brothers this is why the Bible says study to show yourself approved you got to study this repeat it over and over again because Christians may not know as many precepts as you know but there are common verses that they will go to to try to prove themselves and this is one of them and that's why you have to explain now as the workmen this is what a colon means colon to give emphasis or further explanation of what he's trying to bring out Brett say that one more time please to give emphasis or further explanation of the point he's trying to make thank you it's clarifying what was previously said you might not be clear on what was previously said nope the colon represents a further explanation now when you get a further explanation on what verse 19 is talking about what's the first word that it uses teaching when you're baptizing in the name of the father and of the son and of the Holy Ghost you're teaching them teaching them what how to take a swim nope teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you I just need you to read that again verse 20 teaching them to observe all things no uh some things all things because here's again where Christians get slipped up the other Commandments let me focus on the two great Commandments in the law what did Christ say out of his own mouth verse 19 again go ye therefore and teach All Nations this is a commandment we were given commandment to do this this beyond the two Commandments the two great Commandments is a foundation for the other Commandments to build upon okay when you buy a house do you just get the foundation nope no you want walls you want roof you want windows but you're not able to have a house unless you have a foundation to build upon wisdom is the principle thing therefore get wisdom and with all by getting get Commandments when the Bible says to rightly divide it's telling you when there are two different verses in the word of God especially in the New Testament you have to be skillful in merging them together you can't just take the one that you like and omit the other nope you have to see how these two are reconciled if we say well there's only one focus on the two great Commandments well I guess this thing that he told the apostles to do I guess we ain't doing that then what was Christ's commandment go ye therefore I want you to see how authoritative Christ was in giving the Commandment read Verse 18 verse 18 and Jesus came and spake unto them saying all power is given unto me in heaven and in Earth I have the power I have the authority and in having all authority now I'm giving you orders now I'm commanding you to do something what was the Commandment that was given to the twelve go ye therefore go therefore and do what and he and what T and what teach ERS who all nations read baptizing them in the name of the father and of the son and of the Holy Ghost you might presume that baptizing here is talking strictly about dunking someone in water nope just in case you're unclear there's a colon to help you out let's now expand further on what Christ was trying to say verse 20 teaching them when you're baptized and you're doing what teaching them to do what to observe to take heed to All Things some things all things everything read whatsoever I have commanded man case closed stand baptism after this class I don't know what to tell you if you don't understand that you have to keep the Commandments of God after today's lesson I really don't know what to tell you how is it that the Lord can commission me to get on here week after week giving you all of these precepts and still you like the understanding thereof some people they just don't want to understand nope you better consider before you meet your maker this is Christ's commandment that's why the Lord said if you love me keep my Commandments Christ gave Commandments What is one of his Commandments read it again verse 20 teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you teach them everything that I gave in the Commandments teach it to them all that's why Christ said in Matthew 5 18 for verily I say unto you that one jot or one Tittle shall a no wise pass from the law till all be fulfilled how many precepts do we got to give you we're giving it to you raw and real in the New Testament and still for all this you don't believe it's because you're not immersed you've heard the word of God but you're not in it you got to take this role and eat it man you got to be consumed in it we ourselves were sometimes in darkness we wasn't out here keeping the Commandments from the time of our youth nope but when we heard the word of God we were motivated to change and do you know the reason why because we love him and if we love them we're going to keep the Commandments see love is a motivator you want to do something for a person that you love if you really love them but if you only got that fake Love in Your Heart it's going to be all talk back to where we are verse 21 more time please Matthew chapter 28 verse 20. teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you go to the people right don't teach All Nations and go and teach them the Commandments and you wonder the reason why Christ ain't returned yet you know how it says this gospel shall be preached throughout the four corners of the earth and then shall the income why Christians never ask themselves man why it ain't come yet we got Christianity all over the world why do your name come yet because you haven't been teaching God's Commandments the Commandment is to go and teach whatsoever things I commanded you teach all things that I commend to you don't hold back read and and lo I am always I am with you always that speaking about the gift of the Holy Spirit the indwelling this is one of the many things that separated the baptism by Christ from the baptism by John it was us receiving the gift of the Holy Spirit read and lo I Am With You Always even until the end of the world I'm on now here's another basic example of something that Christ commanded outside of the two great Commandments after this manner pray ye Our Father who are in heaven Hallowed be thy name thy kingdom come thy will be done in earth as it is in heaven give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our debts as we've forgiven our debtors and lead us not into temptation but Deliver Us from Evil for thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever I'm on you know how we know that because it's a commandment this is one of the many Commandments that Christ gave there are more Commandments outside of the two great Commandments that he gave that's just the foundation of The Commandments but we'll go into this further into another class Lord's will now the next thing that tripped up about out is when it says go and teach All Nations see now that the straw they want to pull from right right they didn't completely nope now it's what the Bible says go and teach All Nations When God says to teach All Nations what was he referring to Deuteronomy 28 64. the book of Deuteronomy chapter 28 verse 64. and the Lord shall scatter thee among all people now when the Bible said among all people he means you're going to be scattered among all nations and the Lord shall scatter thee among all people read from the one end of the Earth even until the other if you're scattered from one end of the Earth even unto the other that means you're scattered in different nations different people have different nations different people have different nationalities that's what you've got to see and the Lord shall scatter thee among all people you're going to be scattered among the Nations that was a punishment for breaking the Commandments of God the prophecy is that Israel would be scattered among all nations for breaking the Commandments of God can you read it again yes sir and the Lord shall scatter thee among all people from the one end of the Earth even unto the other come on and there Thou shalt serve there once you get to those other nations Thou shalt serve other gods that's the punishment read which neither thou nor thy fathers have known even wood and stone the Bible close to the children of Israel would be scattered among all nations for breaking God's Commandments and do you know the reason why you don't know that because you haven't been immersed in this do you notice how the Bible keeps talking about the Commandments over and over again I guess that means it's kind of important huh we're a stiff-neck people boy every time we'll find a reason not to do it why because we hate God's word the Israelites were told that they would serve other gods that's why they had to be immersed into the teachings of the father and the Son and the Holy Ghost because they were currently immersed into idolatry but maybe you don't believe that you might say Christ wasn't talking about that in Matthew 28 and 19 he said go and teach All Nations so here's my question when the disciples heard the word that Christ commanded them go teach All Nations baptizing them in the name of the father and the son and of the Holy Ghost when Christ gave the apostles that commandment how did the apostles apply what was written hold that let's go to Acts chapter two let's find out see I'm just posing the question the apostles was there with Christ when he gave the Commandment right not you nope when Christ gave them the Commandment how did they reason in their minds to go out and execute how did they apply Matthew 28 19 as it is written let's find out hold on what better book could we go to to find this out Elder than to go to the Acts of the Apostles what action did the apostles take on Christ's commandment Acts chapter 2 verse 1 and when the day of Pentecost was fully come there were all with one Accord in one place and suddenly there came a sound from Heaven as of a rushing Mighty Wind and it filled all the house where they were sitting and there appeared unto them cloven tongues light as a fire and it sat upon each of them and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost and began to speak with other tongues as the spirit gave them utterance watch this and there were dwelling at Jerusalem Jews devout men out of every nation under heaven wait a minute wait a minute we gotta run that back and there were dwelling at Jerusalem Jews devout men out of every nation under heaven now wait a minute if I'm the average Christian who's not immersed into this book I may presume that the Jews were in Jerusalem only if I'm not immersed I may have never known that the children of Israel were scattered among all nations long before Christ gave the Commandment for the apostles to teach All Nations when Christ said teach All Nations what was he talking about we know that by how the apostles who he told it to executed his command read it again verse 5 verse 5 and there were dwelling at Jerusalem Jews devout men out of every nation under heaven now let's just guess what the apostles did verse 14 verse 14 but Peter standing up with the 11. now wait a minute Peter with the 11 these sound like the apostles you know the ones that Christ was saying go and teach All Nations baptizing them in the name of the father and the Son and the Holy Ghost those gods What's Happening Here Reed but Peter standing up with the 11 lifted up his voice and said unto them ye men of Judea and all that dwell at Jerusalem be this known unto you and hearken to my word talking to my what word talking to my water word hearken to my words for these are not drunken as ye suppose seeing it is but the third hour of the day come on but this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel what was the prophecy see you got to be immersed to know the prophecy you got to be immersed in the word to know what was it that Joelle said read and it shall come to pass in the last days this was told a fourth time saith God Save You Zion no saith God saith God God prophesied from the time of the Prophet Joel that what would happen that what should come to pass in the last days I will pour out my spirit my what my spirit my what my spirit unto who upon All Flesh the words that I speak unto you they are spirit and they are life it's the spirit that quickeneth the flesh profit of nothing these were already things that the prophet said read and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy what does it mean to preside they're going to give a foretelling about the word of God in order to give a foretelling of it you gotta know it you have to be taught read and your young men shall see visions and your old men shall dream dream come on and on my servants and on my handmaids maidens I will pour out in those days of my spirits read and they shall prophesy when the spirit is on you you're going to prophesy not get in the water only nope you're going to prophesy this is highlighting the baptism in the name of the father and the Son and the Holy Ghost also known as the Holy Spirit it was already prophesied in the last days the spirit which is the holy spirit is going to come on you is going to indwell within you you're going to hear this word you're going to prophesy and then when you hear the word you're going to go to All Nations teaching them in the name of the father and the Son and the Holy Ghost not just sit at home what watching me you brothers sisters you cannot just sit there and watch me you have to take this word that you've received you've got the gift of the Holy Ghost now it's your job to spread it now you've got to pay it forward the same way that we go through Great Lengths to teach you the word of God now you must teach and preach it to others because how shall they hear without a preacher we were given commission to do this throughout the world and we're watching the fruits of it right here read on verse 21 and it shall come to pass that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved oh I know Chief Ambassador Sharma when he was uh he made this comment All Flesh is referring to the Flesh of the Israelites I don't even I don't even want to do them like that Chief Ambassador we're just going to read we're just going to see what it says and it shall come to pass this is what the Christians do they will read Acts chapter 2 verse 21 and then they will cut off the class bro see I told you guys that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved these guys don't know what they're talking about nope read the next verse ye men of Israel what ye men of Israel hear these words free solitaire in order to do this you have to rightly divide the word you have to take one scripture and then you take another scripture and see how these two scriptures mesh together if you're taking only one verse and making an entire Doctrine out of it you're not rightly dividing the word nope so a lot of times what people do being disingenuous they'll hear a specific few words that they want to hear but I ever oh the Bible context around the parameters of who it's talking about in the very next verse Yemen of Israel hear these words I don't want to hear that nope ye men of Israel hear these words it's already established there's an audience that Peter and the other disciples are speaking to they're speaking to Jews devout men out of every nation under Heaven they gather together to celebrate the feasts of Pentecost in the book of Acts when you read it it says whosoever shall call in the name of the Lord shall be saved that's not talking about every single person nope it's speaking within the confines of the nation of Israel that's already been foretold would receive the word of God the people that was already foretold that God established the Covenant with fatality for finding fault with them I will make a New Covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah when he establishes the New Covenant he's going to make sure that you follow it by baptizing you in the name of the Father the Son and the Holy Ghost but let's read it again this is Acts chapter 2 verse 21 and it shall come to pass that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved who's God talking to ye men of Israel hear these words hear what hear this water nope hear these words this is the word that's being delivered read Jesus of Nazareth who's being taught the son go teach All Nations baptizing them in the name of the father and the son the son is being taught his teachings must be followed read Jesus of Nazareth a man approved of God among you by Miracles and wonders and signs which God did by him in the midst of you as ye yourselves also know now why did this need to be said because even though they understood a glimpse of the father they did not understand the Sun no topic they didn't understand the sun because many rejected him read therefore being by the right hand of God exalted and having received of the Father the promise of the Holy Ghost can you say can you use the saying it word for word just in case you thought we was piecing things together the apostles are following the Commandments he that believeth in the lord taketh heed to the Commandment you're seeing it right here they got the assignment and they understood the assignment but the reason they understood the assignment is because they're the ones that was immersed read on therefore being by the right hand of God exalted and having received of the Father the promise of the Holy Ghost he have shed forth this which ye now see and hear you now see it and you hear it they're teaching it to him read for David is not ascended into the heaven come on but he saith himself the Lord said unto my Lord sit thou on my right hand come on verse 36 therefore let all the house of Israel know Assurance Elder slow it down wait a minute we gotta run that back no Peter tell all nations I don't care what you say nope this is the part of the Bible that I don't like I don't care if it's in the New Testament nope study to show thyself approved unto God a Workman that needeth not be ashamed rightly dividing the word of Truth see we can go through all of these precepts because we can show you how they all operate in sequence we can show you God established a covenant with the children of Israel God promised that the children of Israel would be set on high the condition was they must keep the Commandments if they broke the Commandments then they would be scattered among all nations and serve other gods when the children of Israel broke God's laws God sent them prophets to warn them of the destruction to come and when the prophets were sent to Israel telling them what they must do in order to get Deliverance they told them keep the Commandments and live we must accept Christ as part of The Commandments Christ is the word but you just want to focus on only what you want to hear not rightly dividing the word you don't get to stop reading now nope only someone that hates God's Commandments would do that if you love the Lord you're going to read the Bible from cover to cover and say hey wait a minute when I'm reading in this verse it says go teach All Nations but I'm reading in this other verse in the New Testament and it's saying let all Israel know assuredly why does it seem like these two contradict the verses are not contradicting itself your understanding is it was already known that the children of Israel would be scattered among all nations there were they were the ones that was prophesied to hear the Commandments of God and turn from their Wicked Ways that's why we're reading the whole chapter not just the verse you like in great detail can you read it again this is Acts chapter 2 verse 36 therefore let all the house of Israel no assuredly you know another way to put that Elder what's that whosoever Israel no who who's of Israel let all the house of Israel know assuredly read that God have made that same Jesus who's being taught that same Jesus read whom ye have crucified both Lord and Christ you see that the teaching is going out Christ is the Messiah Christ is the king Christ is Lord read now when they heard this okay who's they is the they talking about the ethnic Gentiles nope it's talking about the assimilated Gentiles Jews devout men under every nation under heaven when they heard this read they were pricked in their heart they were convicted and said unto Peter and to the rest of the Apostles men and Brethren what shall we do now I want you all to notice this this is a critical point Christ is being taught to them the word is going out they feel a sense of conviction in their heart and now they say to themselves men and Brethren what shall we do this was said unto Peter and the rest of the Apostles you've taught us Christ is the Messiah now that we know this what shall we do when they ask the apostles these Jews from every nation under heaven when all nations asked Peter and the disciples what they should do with this information what did the apostles say then Peter said unto them repent and be baptized and be what baptized and be what baptized who every one of you every one of you who everyone of Israel let the house of Israel know assuredly that God had made that same Jesus whom ye have crucified both Lord and Christ Christ already told Joel in the Book of Matthew I am not sent but unto the lordship of the House of Israel why do y'all try to make Christ a liar the Bible know who's talking about a covenant was established with the children of Israel they're God's chosen people are peculiar people not like the other nations God's saying among this people you're supposed to be keeping my Commandments he showeth his word unto Jacob so now that you know that the word is Christ now you must accept Christ you must get immersed into his teachings he that loveth Christ keepeth his Commandments if he loved me keep my Commandments read then Peter said unto them repent and do what and be baptized man I wonder where Peter heard that from maybe Peter's just making something up you know like what a lot of Christians do you ask them questions it don't be viable nope it just be a bunch of talk when Peter gave answer he's giving answer based on the Commandment listen to him recite it then Peter said unto them repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost that was the Commandment go teach All Nations baptizing them in the name of the Father the Son and the Holy Ghost read for the promise is unto you no the promise is unto everyone nope for the promise is unto you why do you think that the Bible even uses words like this for the promise is unto you possessive read and to your children and to all that are afar off now who are far off bro it's simple and plain the promise is unto you we already went over this in Romans 9 in previous classes didn't we Israelites to whom pertaineth the adoption and the glory and the covenants and the giving of the law and the service of the law and the promises the promise is given unto you the Bible is very consistent when the products were sent on the Earth they were not sent to contradict each other nope they were sent to reinforce each other and to build upon the foundation of what was already laid read verse 39 problems are being sent from one Japan the Commandments be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins what is sin the transgression of the law first John chapter 3 verse 4 this is how it all comes together my people all of this is New Testament Bible read verse 39 for the promise is unto you and to your children and to your seed and to all that are for all all that are for off who was a far-off Israel that was scattered from one in unto the Earth even unto the other that was already prophesied come on even as many as the Lord Our God shall call read on and with many other words many other what words many other what words did he testify and exhort saying save yourselves from this untoward generation our forefathers were being saved through the word it's the spirit that quickeneth the flesh profit of nothing the words I speak unto you they are spirit and they are life when they heard the word what did they do Elder verse 41 then they that gladly receive his word were baptized and the same day they were added unto them about three thousand so case closed when you're reading about this baptism they receive the words of Christ now you are clean through the word that I have spoken unto you so brothers sisters you must be immersed in this truth God is trying to immerse you in this right now I hope you're not resisting the Holy Ghost as your forefathers did and with that that's the end of the class oh praises to the most high and his son part two next week baptism by fire remember when Christ came he said John the Baptist said I baptize you with water but he shall baptize you through the Holy Ghost and with fire we touched on the Holy Ghost we're going to deal with the fire baptism next week y'all stay tuned all right so we give all praises to the most high thank you oh Lord for allowing us to receive the gift of the holy spirit it's evident that the holy spirit is here not at all surely we didn't just come out the womb just knowing all these scriptures no it don't work that way the Lord has gifted us with the indwelling of the Holy Spirit to be able to give the sense as it is written we understand this is our job we're on commission by Christ and as workmen of Christ and expositors we're going to take every concept pertaining to your salvation that's in this book and if it be the Lord's will he will move our mouth to break it down so a five-year-old can understand and we just ask that you pray for us brothers and sisters we go through great calamities to preach this word now with that being said uh for my brothers and sisters who want a water baptism as I said before uh we're not against baptism uh through water we only speak about its proper context we have to edify the same way that John the Baptist did he wasn't just letting people get dunked in water while being ignorant nope the scripture says not to be ignorant in any matter small nor great so if you uh desire to be immersed in water as an outward showing of your inward faith make sure that you're very serious about this word uh don't do it how Christianity does it by and large where many of them not knowing about any of God's laws will go and dunk themselves in water only to get out of the water and keep committing the same sins in order for your uh baptism to mean something you need to make sure that you are fully knowledgeable of the laws of God what God requires of you so you got to be doing it in the right Spirit not a show remember what we went over in Jeremiah chapter 2 and verse 22 though you'll wash yourself with nitri and with soap but your iniquity is still on you if you want a water baptism you need to make sure that you have a conscience towards God through his son Jesus the Christ anybody else got something on that Elder Chief Ambassador I was just going to say real quick uh yes so that therefore you have to be members of the church in order to get baptized by us because we need to see that that your work show that you're repenting according to Christ and are fully immersed as Chief Elder mentioned absolutely uh Chief Ambassador Shaman did you have anything that uh you wanted to express on that again we're making it very clear brothers and sisters uh we don't have anything against water baptism Christ was baptized in water so surely Christ wouldn't do anything Wicked nope but we have to understand the meaning behind things see this is how a lot of y'all get duped in a celebrating Christmas where you go out here and start following after traditions and customs and you don't even know where it comes from if you're going to do a water baptism that should be a very serious sign that you have repented from your sins and that you are dedicating your life to Christ it is a outward ceremony to confess to the world that you accept Christ and will take heed to his Commandments not to say it and believe that he is the anointed savior of Israel yeah so the last thing I'll say is kind of what we have spoke about prior uh Chief Elder is a lot of times you know the Christian church has taken over you know a lot of things of Christ and they give it a bad name so we got to be able to take those things back in righteousness um and to go to y'all's point just make sure you're doing it in the right Spirit Israel um not to be done as a show you know but to actually symbolize you're ready to walk and dwell with Christ uh and you have this thing doing it lifelong so it's something that you really need to think about the same as if you're breaking bread and things of that nature it's not something to be done in haste but put serious thought into it absolutely do not do not come in here just trying to make a show of it being in that Christian Spirit nope if you say that you want a water baptism we treat that as a very serious thing and when you confess those sins openly when you openly confess your thoughts you will be held accountable to them and we will rejoice in that and give all praises to the most high God and his son let's give the Lord a hand s all Praises all praises so hey that's what um the Feast of Tabernacles registration is now open all praises to the most high for that thank you we ask we asked Brothers and sister take heed to the Commandments make sure that you take heed to the Commandment of keeping the Feast of Tabernacles as a holy convocation remember the Lord said don't come before the Lord empty nope so check your emails our events or members only if you're a member of true Spirit of Christ please make sure that you check the email so that way you can register for this event we have a registration form for uh a standard admission for uh a select uh age range and we also have a children's uh admission okay so brothers sisters uh the Lord's put the spirit on us the Holy Spirit to work very hard so that we can keep the Lord's feasts with joyfulness and with gladness of heart and you know what's so funny ldi King as the apostles went and taught during the Feast of Pentecost applying Matthew 28-19 why come they never told the 3 000 never celebrate the Feast of Pentecost Al maybe they know something that you don't all praise is the most high gives us these laws for us to follow that we should rejoice and not treat it as something Grievous so that it can open our understanding okay so once again brothers sisters Feast of Tabernacles registration uh is open please make sure that you support um and join okay uh with that being said let's go ahead and break bread this is First Corinthians chapter 11 verse 23. so once again uh breaking bread just like the baptism through water it's a ritual it symbolizes our commitment to following Christ okay but when we break this bread and we drink this wine this is just a figure of where our hearts should be that's why the Bible says we have to examine ourselves examine ourselves against what against this let's read well I have received of the Lord that which also I delivered unto you that the Lord Jesus the same night in which he was betrayed to bread and when he had given thanks he break it and said take eat this is my body which is broken for you this do in remembrance of me after the same manner also he took the cup when he is sup saying this cup is the New Testament in my blood this do ye as often as ye drink it in remembrance of meat for as often as you eat this bread and drink this cup you do show the Lord's death till he come wherefore whosoever shall eat this bread and drink this cup of the Lord unworthily shall be guilty of the body and the blood of the Lord because understand this when the scripture says to drink of the body and the blood of the Lord we're not literally eating Christ's body nope the bread and the wine symbolizes the body and the blood of Christ okay uh we've always been a ritualistic people point being we're not just supposed to do it in vain again this is what many people do in church okay you will have the communion and the scriptures tell you that if you're going to partake in the communion you need to do it like this but you might have just committed adultery you might have just murdered somebody you might have just done all manner of evil and you're unrepentant of it but now you're going to put the vanilla wafer in your mouth that's not how you're supposed to do it the church is supposed to have enough accountability in this examination to be able to see hey this person is not ready to break bread they're still coming around they have to get committed to this okay so we pray that for you brothers and you sisters that are out there being baptized into the full immersion of the word we just pray that you brothers and sisters who are uh with us in spirit you take this seriously and you're not doing it just because this is a uh sign it's a metaphor of our commitment to Christ and the angels will Mark us as such read but let a man examine himself examine yourself against the word of God that's what changes you read and so let him eat of that bread and drink of that cup come on for he that eateth and drinketh unworthily eateth and drinketh Damnation to himself not Discerning the Lord's body you eat and drink unworthily when you don't take the time to immerse yourself into the word of God and understand what God requires of you what does he want you to do where shall a young man cleanse his way by taking heed according to Thy word so open up the word study it examine what God requires of your life and then might you be found worthy of partaking in the breaking of the bread read for this cause many are weak and sickly among you and many sleep because like the water baptism we understand that this ritual also carries with it a spiritual power although this is just a symbol we understand that there is spiritual Power Within These symbols and thus if you partake in it make sure that you're serious about it do not do it haphazardly in the name of our Lord and savior because the Lord he could kill you for that so let's not play brothers and sisters okay the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom go ahead in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ we pray amen giving all praises to the most high God uh brothers sisters we pray that you enjoy today's lesson uh if you enjoyed today's class please do us a favor and smash that like button okay remember we're under commandment we have to go and teach All Nations baptizing them in the name of the father and the Son and the Holy Ghost and while we may not physically be able to reach everyone through the power of the World Wide Web that the Lord has blessed us with many can be reached so please make sure that you smash that like button because that tells YouTube to send this lesson to as many people as possible uh we love all of our brothers and sisters and we understand that there are many of our brothers and sisters in darkness even within the churches we understand that there is a remnant of brothers and sisters within the church uh that genuinely want to serve the Lord with an upright heart but they just have not been taught like you you've received the gift of the Holy Spirit let's now work to help give that gift unto someone else so make sure that you like and share this class and please make sure that you tell a friend all right we love you Israel we pray that you all have a happy Sabbath remember stay immersed in this and until next time we say shalom and happy Sabbath Shalom is real happy seven thank you
