Do you want to make millions by starting an Amazon HubLocker business? I bet you do. So I want you to stick around until the end of today's conversation because what I'm going to do today, I'm going to break it down.

I'm going to break down everything for you step by step on starting an Amazon HubLocker business. Don't go anywhere. Welcome back folks to another edition of the Awesome Sweetie QV Show.

How are you today? I hope you are all doing fantastic. I'm doing marvelous if you are here to ask me. I'm going to be doing a lot of things today.

if you are doing as great as i am go grab a cup of coffee or tea or vodka and let's roll in today's conversation i'm going to share with you a proven methodology a proven step-by-step that will help you establish an amazon hub locker business before we get into the nitty-gritty what are we talking about here let's go back to the the foundation of everything how did everything start about amazon hub so amazon hub is a worldwide network of pickup locations the program enables any business with with a physical location to offer secure package pickup and returns to Amazon customers and in turn reap benefits from the potential increase in foot traffic and sales at that location. Amazon's hub partners can select from various product solutions, including lockers and apartment lockers to serve customers in their neighborhood. So the whole idea here is that you're not getting paid.

The millions I was talking about earlier are not coming from Amazon. Amazon is not paying you. What they're doing instead.

That is sending traffic to you. They're sending foot traffic. And guess what? This is huge.

If you think about Amazon as an online behemoth, as a behemoth in the online commerce marketplace, you understand that they might be sending thousands of people to you on a yearly basis. And if you're able to convert, if you're able to have the right strategy in place so that that foot traffic can be converted into sales, guess what? Then you start hearing the ka-ching, the ka-chi, the ka-ching, right?

That's where the revenues is coming from. coming okay so when we talk about amazon hub what are we talking about in terms of their product offerings so they range from grocery stores to convenience stores to transport hubs to shopping centers to offices to resident to residential properties and universities so you have the whole constellation of venues that will fit into this business model the hub by amazon's business model and uh so a locker amazon hub locker is is a secure self-serve fully automated kiosk providing a convenient delivery solution for customers to pick up their amazon packages and lockers are available in a variety of sizes to meet the needs of your business and they offer a contactless experience to customers an ideal way to address the new what amazon calls the new normal so if you have underutilized space at your location either inside the store or outside amazon wants you to put it to work okay and right now the countries where Amazon hub is available include the United States Canada Italy France Spain Germany Great Britain Austria Japan and the Arab at the United Arab Arab the United Arab Emirates okay so this is all you need to know So now let me get into the actual step-by-step. So I gave you the analytical foundation to today's conversation, what Amazon Hub is, right? Now let's get into the step-by-step.

Step number one, you need to sign up. So you need to take a five-minute... survey if you are interested in Amazon hot locker so Amazon will gather a few details about your business location to see if it would if it would be a good fit for Amazon hotnet network okay so we're showing you on the screen right now so first what you have to do is that you see the first screen If you go to the address that we have, the Amazon Hub address, you get to the survey and you have to talk about which kind of venue you have, convenience stores, shopping center. You have to answer whether the location is in a shopping center, how many days a week the business or store is open, the name of the store, the street address, the city, the zip code. And you also have to talk about the first name of the contact, the last name, the email.

me a look the phone number right and what will happen here is that once you do all those things you submit Amazon will get back to you after two weeks what they will do is they will actually review the whole the whole application they will geo localize your application to see to see things like food traffic for Amazon it's not just about food traffic they considered several metrics besides food traffic they pay attention to the accessibility in other words is your store is your venue accessible for for instance, to the physically, you know, people who are disabled. Can they really get there? Amazon also pays attention to the open times. Are you open 24-7 or are you just open a few days in a week? So they look at a constellation of metrics to evaluate your application and say, okay, you know, this will...

work or this will not work and locations that qualify include banks coffee shops convenience store fitness centers general retail government agencies groceries hospitality so hotels and Airbnb spots, right? Offices, parking lots, pharmacies, restaurants, self-storage centers, shopping centers, transit authorities. We have universities, general services, healthcare, multifamily housing, single family home.

And so... again the whole idea here is that amazon is lacing for free your location and return is sending you traffic they're not paying you they will not pay you step number two so once you actually if you get the approval notice from amazon it's time to become hub ready this is very very important what do i mean by that there are four types of offers in Amazon Hub. And you need to understand all those four types so that you can maximize your earnings as an Amazon Hub partner.

First, you have the Amazon Hub. Then you have the Amazon Hub Locker. Then you have the Amazon...

Amazon Hub apartment locker and then you have the Amazon Hub locker plus I'm gonna go through all those four one by one let's start with uh Amazon Hub so instead of having a package delivered to your home or business address you can select an Amazon Hub location this is basically what Amazon is telling its customers right so the customer can pick up their package at a time that suits at your hub so in order for so if all items in the customer's order are eligible well will happen is that basically the customer will choose the hub that is closest to their residence and get there and have the item shipped there. And for you, it's important as an Amazon Hub partner to understand Amazon Hub collection instructions for clients. Clients can collect their packages at Amazon Hubs after they receive a delivery notice. So when a package is ready to collect, Amazon will send the client an email notice and the email includes a shipment track tracking ID and unique pickup barcode and address and opening times for the client's selected location.

It's very important as an Amazon Hub partner to understand that because the last thing you want is that the client is coming to pick up his or her package and you're not open. And then that's bad review for Amazon and nobody wants that. Okay?

And to collect the package, the client must do one of the following. Collect the package himself or herself, present the pickup barcode at the Hub. or have someone collect the package for him or her the person collecting the package must present the clients pick up barcode at the hub you also need to understand Amazon have counter rules for clients okay that's an important tool so now let's talk about the second time Amazon hub locker so Amazon hub locker provides the client with a service delivery location to collect and return their amazon.com packages so lockers are currently available in various locations in the United States so instead of having having a package delivered to the client's home or business address the clients can have it delivered to an Amazon HubLocker location and they can collect the package at a time that suits them okay so you also need to understand the Amazon HubLocker rules for clients anything around the size of the shipments the the the value of the shipments all those things are important Let's talk about the third option.

You have the Amazon Hub apartment locker. So this provides a client with a service delivery location in their residence. So the client can receive packages from Amazon.com and other retailers. So when the client's package arrives to the apartment locker, Amazon will send an email with a unique pickup code. When the client collects the package, they will enter their pickup code and follow the on-screen instructions.

So you need to understand Amazon Hub apartment locker rules for clients. What's very important to understand is that the... Amazon will be in contact with the apartment with the building manager with the property manager this is very important because once once Amazon sends the package to the apartment hub the Amazon Hub apartment locker the packages that is available for collection as soon as the client receives a pickup code and that package guess what remains in the compartment until the property manager empties the compartment to make room for new deliveries. So there is some kind of a, there is some time limitations here and the client must make sure to check with the property manager before reporting any missing packages and clients can reach an apartment locker specialist directly by calling 1-888-283-0577.

1-888-283-0577. And this is a team that's available 24 seven. That's fantastic.

So this is great for you too, as a potential Amazon hub locker partner. what about the fourth option you have what amazon called amazon hub locker plus and uh for clients this is a great this is bonanza why because a client can choose a nearby amazon Locker Plus location as a shipping destination for their amazon.com orders. So instead of having a package delivered to their home or business address, they can select a Locker Plus location. Then they can collect the package at a time that suits them.

Amazon Hub Locker Plus locations offer the following free package pickup, free return drop-off boxes and packing materials are provided on-site, an Amazon associate available for assistance and self-service kiosks. Okay. So as an Amazon, as a potential Amazon Hub Locker business partner, what do you want to do?

You need to actually make sure you organize your hub, your venue, according to Amazon's different types of hub solutions and hub instructions. As a matter of fact, in our research, to make more money, you want to organize your venue, your location to suit the conditions of an Amazon Hub Locker Plus. This is where the real money is, because at some point, Amazon is going to have to pay you extra.

But if you were just doing the Amazon Hub or the Amazon Hub Locker, really, you're not making any money. So you're just getting the traffic. But if you are able to design your venue to become an Amazon Hub Locker Plus, not only are you getting the traffic that is inherent in Amazon business model. In other words, a client are coming to pick up their packages, but you're making extra cash.

If you have to invest in things like having an Amazon associate available, you need to have. have a free return drop-off so boxes and packing materials they are provided on site okay all right let's first talk now about number three step number three you need to expect visitors at your hub it is very important because once Amazon validates your registration a couple of things will happen you'll start having visitors and you'll have two types of visitors first you will have amazon inspectors so amazon will not send live people like you know they won't send their staff to visit you unless there needs to be Because Amazon has at their disposal a whole constellation of AI, artificial intelligence tools, including geolocation tools that enables them to see in real time what's going on at your location. Once you give them the zip code, you give them all the information they need, they know exactly what's going on, either through Google Maps or other tools that they have developed internally at Amazon. So you might see the presence of Amazon inspectors, especially if you're looking for a job that's going to be a little bit more expensive.

if your area is a high traffic venue. And then the second category of clients or visitors you might see at your venue is prospective clients. So one thing I want to say is that Amazon inspectors may or may not come. Depends on your location, the time they have, the number of competing locations in your area. Prospective clients may visit your future hub.

Make sure you understand Amazon's rules for Amazon locker accessibility and comply with those rules. to ensure your hub is accessible. Very important.

When we talk about accessibility for Amazon Locker, this is something that Jeff Bezos and the whole senior management team takes very, very seriously. Amazon Lockers are secure self-service kiosks where you can pick up Amazon packages at a time and place that is convenient for the clients. Right. That's what Amazon tells the clients. And all Amazon Lockers must have accessibility features, including talking lockers, larger and high contrast touchscreen text and a lower locker slot.

lot preference to support access by blind, low vision, deaf, hard of hearing, and mobility impaired customers. Now it's not up to you to actually make that investment. Amazon will take care of it.

But in terms of accessibility, this is very important to make sure that people who are people who are not able to walk to your place can actually get there. You know, I'm, I'm, I'm, I'm speaking about the blind and the visually impaired. So you have to think about your venues physical layout you have to think about making sure that people who have low vision are able to navigate your venue people who are hard of hearing so those are things you have to think about all right so for Amazon they are for there are five important things the lockers physical layout the blind the the benefits to the blind and visually impaired the they always pay attention to low vision so if they want to have larger font sizes, high contrast. They also pay attention to hearing and mobility. And make sure, again, that your venue is designed to suit, to be in sync with those important metrics that Amazon pays attention to.

I'll be right back right after this. Don't go anywhere. welcome back folks to another section of the awesome sweetie kiwi show we are still having a conversation about how to start an amazon hub locker business and i've told you first you need to sign up step number two you need to become hub ready step number three you need to expect visitors at your hub step number four you need to leverage amazon hubs benefits there important because Amazon hub if you really think about it is a win-win for you and Amazon you need to know the benefits of joining the Amazon hub network so that you can optimize it you can leverage it to your advantage thousands of businesses according to our research around the world are already taking advantage of the program the Amazon hub program to provide valuable customer service introduce their business to new customers and potentially increase revenue so there are a couple of things you can do you can delight your customers try to delight customers what I'm trying to say here is that you want to try to delight the potential customers that the prospects who are walking into your store or into your business to come get their packages okay so you want to think about having a seamless online and in-store shopping experience so by making it convenient for prospects to pick up their online orders at your store and offering them an additional solution you demonstrate the kind of service that drives loyalty and we all know how important loyalty is for amazon and so there are a couple of things you can you can do to improve your retail shopping experience pay attention to every touch point encourage and publish customer reviews reduce friction in the buying process do not neglect post-purchase care you want to create a community around your brain and you want to take care of your employees when amazon amazon customer is working to your store you want to have smiling employees happy employees right you also want to think about growing revenue so you can drive additional revenue opportunities from higher customer traffic and in-store advertising so customers who come customers or prospects who come to your business for amazon hub will find it they will find it highly convenient to purchase your products along with their pickup so you want to let customers try before the buy you want to understand customer movements in the store encourage recommendations You want to stock up on what sells. You want to offer expert help. And you want to have a social media presence.

Create a Facebook in-store offer. And you want to optimize your counter area. Very important. Step number five, folks. And before I get into step number five, I think that it's I want to dig a little deeper here when we speak about leveraging Amazon Hub's benefits.

So I spoke to you about delighting your customers, right? making them happy, growing revenue. But I also want to talk to you about boosting brand awareness. Why?

Well, if you really think about it, if you are a small store, a small business somewhere in America or in England or Australia or Nigeria or... or Italy or Germany or any other place where the Amazon Hub business model is available as of now, you probably have small foot traffic. You have negligible foot traffic. And being able to have an Amazon Hub locker will increase, may increase your foot traffic by, who knows, fivefold, tenfold. So you want to seize the opportunity to boost.

brain awareness what does that mean it means that you are able to use the increased number of people who come into your store to make sure they don't not only buy from the store but also become loyal customers in other words you are able to imprint in their mind in their psyche the benefits of your product or service and there are a lot of a lot of ways to do this you can how do you actually increase brand visibility in store You can run a promotion, for example. You can achieve optimal chef placement. You can invest in real-time inventory management. There is a wide area of tools, free tools out there that allow you to manage your inventory in real-time.

You can try a mobile marketing campaign partnership. You know, when we speak about things like personalization. gamification and rewards, you're able to actually create a wonderful experience for the clients, a wonderful experience for the Amazon prospect who will later on be turning to a customer if you play your cards right.

So the whole idea is to think about boosting brand awareness. So here we're not only focusing on getting the deal done, just making the sale and closing the sale. You can close the sale. You probably make, what, 50 bucks, 30 bucks, 100 bucks per client. But the whole idea is to convert that prospect, that client, that one-time client into a lifetime client.

That's when your customer acquisition cost will go down because when you actually amortize that customer acquisition cost over time you're seeing a positive roi okay so think think about boosting brand awareness step number five folks you really want to optimize your location's visibility they're important and this is something that a lot of uh successful amazon hub locker business partners have done in the last two to three years because by the way Amazon started this Amazon Hub business not long ago, so it's pretty new. Again, it's part of the online giant, the e-commerce giant's business model. They're constantly changing the business model.

the business model and if you want to optimize your locations visibility you want you can advertise your partnership with amazon in other words you can actually have it plastered somewhere that you are an amazon hub partner in the store so everybody knows it you want to mention your amazon hub status on social media you want to adjust your website and e-commerce conditions accordingly you can adjust the content right the the whole thing here is that you're not getting paid amazon is not paying you so the only thing thing you can do is to actually take advantage of the food traffic the increased food traffic and also the visibility that a potential association with the Amazon brand will actually give you will give your business you can actually parlay that association that partnership into something even bigger And also, in terms of optimizing your location's visibility, please chat with all customers coming to pick up their packages. Be verbal. You want to smile.

You want to be in a good mood. You want to have, you want to chit-chat with them. You want to ask. actually show them that you are a great place to visit, a great store to visit. Don't just sit around and just finding your face and not speaking to people like, man, good morning, good morning.

No, no. You really want to engage. Engage with those. those Amazon customers who are there.

All right. Very important. You also want to sell products that are complimentary to products that customers usually buy.

So don't sell in your store the same products that customers buy on amazon.com because guess what? You will cannibalize your own products because you can't compete against Amazon. You're not going to compete with Amazon.

I mean, unless you offer unique value, either way, don't do it. Even if you could. you would be undermining your partner Amazon in this case because Amazon if you really think about it they were gracious enough to you in the first place to send you the additional traffic so don't try to compete with them you also want to adopt strategies for better in-store product visibility in terms of you want to maximize set lines and focal points you want to create different selling levels you want to tilt product up you want to create blocks of vibrant color right so this is kind of cool too and you want to keep products within reach okay so this is this I'm just giving you a series of advice that will help you optimize your locations visibility Step number six, folks. One thing that you need to do if your goal is to make millions over time through your partnership with Amazon Hub is to stay in contact with Amazon.

continuous feedback to Amazon hub and because Amazon is obsessed about customer quality about customer loyalty about the customer service so they are willing to receive feedback from their Amazon hot partners so you want to be there and you want to provide continuous and helpful feedback you want to keep your own venue online your own venues or online ratings high because even though you have let's say you have a you have a partnership with Amazon hot that's pretty cool right that's really good but you need to keep your own venues online ratings high don't you need to separate those two near you have your own own your own store that is a separate store and you have the store that is in in a partnership with amazon hub You can also try to make money directly from Amazon. How do you do that? As I said, at the moment, Amazon does not compensate all Amazon Hub partners.

Depending on your store and food traffic, you may be able to sign a rental agreement with Amazon. To do this, you need to draft a compelling business plan and send it to Amazon Hub, detailing things like the attractiveness of your location, how much foot traffic you generate, how many potential Amazon clients can receive packages at your location, the estimated delivery savings for Amazon and your locations opening hours. For example, you know, seven days a week, 24 hours a day, this kind of stuff.

If you remember earlier, I was talking to you about Amazon Hub Locker Plus. This is the service where you want to focus on because this is where Amazon is trying to derive most of its money in the Amazon Hub Partner Program. So you really want to get a little bit of cash from that. from that angle.

Okay? So, this is things you have to think about. And you also need to find other ways to make money with Amazon here. You can sell your own private label products on Amazon, for example.

You can try to publish your own books on Kindle Direct Publishing, KDP. Right? You can sell wholesale products on Amazon.

You can deliver goods for Amazon. You can become a blogger through affiliate marketing. make money you can work from your own venue as an as an amazon rep for example and you can sell your own shirts hats coffee mugs and more merch through merch by amazon so i'm just giving you a wide variety of ways that you can make money through amazon besides being an amazon hop locker partner all right folks this was it for today's conversation i was talking to you about how to start an amazon hub locker business how to make money how to make millions through that through that the business model you can actually own multiple venues not just one and Um, first I give you an overview and then I give you the step-by-step.

So the step number one, sign up. Number two, become hub ready. Number three, you need to expect visitors at your hub. Number four, you want to leverage Amazon hubs benefits. Number five, you want to optimize your locations visibility.

Number six, you want to stay in contact with Amazon. Good luck. Thank you so much for your attention. I really appreciate it. I will see you next time.

But until then, remember, stay marvelous.
