hi this is Leslie Giselle academic and parenting coach of order out of chaos and you are watching another episode of lessons with Leslie did you soon have a hard time remembering things I know most of the students that I work with do and what I find is most of them are highly highly visual and what they need is something in their eye line that stands out for them so that they see it coming and going what am I absolute favorite favorite favorite tools are diamond post-it notes I know not anything fancy just super super easy to use and really the possibilities for them are endless let me explain so I actually work with a ton of college students and you would think college students would be oh everything's electronic actually not so much when I find that they love to use them to write all different things down plaster them around their room so when they're in their room they see things coming and going so for example this student simply writes her schedule on it for some reason she says she puts it in her phone and she doesn't see it but having her class schedule having the times when buildings are open on campus really helps her to remember it I have another student who actually takes physics and what he does is he takes these giant post-its and write one problem on them and then lines up other post-its underneath it and uses that as a way to work out the problems he says standing at a wall being able to write helps his brain way better than sitting down in a chair and trying to do it with pencil I have another child who actually puts all of her book and yet I have another student in high school who does all her Chinese words I and puts them all around the room so that as she's walking around whether it's her dining room or her bedroom she can easily learn to memorize it for every single student that I work with here something funny to tell you I actually send them a packet of post-its as a welcome gift to working with me why because I will guarantee you for every student out there there will be a way that they will find these truly truly useful so you want to get more tips and tools like these I want you to head on over to our website order OKs comm or if you want to learn more about products that I absolutely love and recommend you can head to products dot order okay s comm either way you're gonna find tons of tips and tools and resources for you to help your student get more organized and more time managed hope to see you there
