Patch Notes: July Cool Retreat Update

Overview

• Release Date: July 17th
• Highlights: Progression updates, new events, Solo Mode raids

Solo Mode: Dungeons and Raids

• Purpose: Challenge Lost Ark's endgame content solo
• Supported Content: Valtan Legion Raid, Ivory Tower Abyssal Dungeon, and more
• Gold Rewards: Reduced compared to normal raids; no gold/materials above certain item levels
• Difficulty: Follows the first cleared gate; can't mix difficulty modes
• Support Buffs:
  • New system: The Scale of Fate
  • Select buffs to aid in battles, replacing previous buffs
  • Unique buffs for classes and specific raids
  • Option to go without buffs for a more challenging experience
• New Currency: Clear Medals
  • Earned upon clearing Solo Mode content
  • Exchanged for items via Solo Mode exchange NPCs
• Gold and Rewards:
  • Lower gold compared to normal mode
  • Same amount of honing and crafting materials
  • No honor rewards (e.g., Brelshaza horns)

Upcoming Events

• New events to ease the grind this summer towards tier four
• Event Powerpass: Drops players to item level 1520 in Voldis
• Super Mokoko Express:
  • Designate a character between item level 1520 and 1600
  • Boosts: Honing rates, gold, and hon Materials
  • Ends: September 25th

Extra End-Game Rewards Event

• Rewards for clearing in-game content to prepare for tier four
• Extra Rewards: Protection and obliteration stones, leap stones, honor shards
• Activities Included: Kayangel Abyssal Dungeon, Akkan Legion Raid, and more
• Duration: Until September 25th

Maharaka Festival

• Activities such as pool events and races
• Earn pirate Mokoko tokens for special items and cosmetics

Daily Playtime Rewards

• Rewards for playtime every 15 minutes
• Gifts for items like honing mats, cards, and fusion materials

Player Gifts

• Sent alongside the update to boost endgame progression:
  • Elixirs, amulets, dark fire chests, ancient sound stones

New Cosmetics

• New swimsuit collection, pet, mount, and wallpaper released in Korea summer 2024

Progression Updates

• Tier three engraving support: Activated at item level 1250 or higher
• Basic growth boost: Expanded to Brelshaza gear
• Gear Crafting and Upgrade Costs: Reduced costs across the board
• Elixirs and Transcendence: Reduced costs for creation and upgrades

Pheon and Materials Adjustments

• Pheon Reduction: Reduced consumption for gear, amulets, and accessories
• Character Bound Gems: Level 5 tier 3 rewards, exchanged after specific item level requirements

New Growth Missions

• Helps players reach item level 1600
• Sequential missions, guiding through content

Raid Gold Changes

• Rebalanced gold rewards
• Increased for Akkan, stayed the same for Ivory Tower despite gate removals

New Story Content

• Echidna Epilogue: New story available post-Echidna raid

Community Updates

• Art Contest Winners: Added as loading screens
