Discovery of Rafflesia Annaldii

Description of the Flower

  • Structure:
    • Composed of five large petals
    • Petals are bright orange with a warty texture
  • Appearance:
    • Resembles carrion (dead flesh)
    • Inside has hairs similar to a dead corpse
