so far we've tested almost every product lvo has released and we often receive requests to compare some of their most popular air purifiers in this video I'm going to compare two of lit's small air purifiers the Lavo core mini and the LV h128 they're characterized by very similar specifications features and test results watch and find out which one is better but before we get started press the sub subscribe button and turn on the notification [Music] Bell these are two small air purifiers with low cadr and just a few features the Lait core Mini covers rooms up to 72 square ft while the levit LV h128 covers rooms up to 64 Square ft both will clean the air in the recommended room sizes 4.8 times in 1 hour as I mentioned they have almost no features but both include an aroma pad this feature allows you to pour essential oils onto the small pads which the air purifier will then spread into the air it's a great feature in theory but in practice I found that a diffuser does a much better job if you want to find out more information about these two air purifiers visit air air purifier first.com regarding the filtration technology there isn't much to say they both use a standard three-stage filtration technology characteristic for levvo air purifiers the biggest difference is that the levit LV h128 has two filters placed on the sides while the core mini has only one cylindrical filter which is located in the bottom part of the device both filters include a pre- filter a main filter and an activated carbon filter stage it's also important to point out that the levoit LV h128 filter lasts a bit longer than the filters of the core mini now let's move to the particle removal test to see how efficient these two devices are the first thing I want to say is that these two air purifiers aren't that good at neutralizing bad odors so for this purpose I would suggest checking the levit vital 200s or windx 5500-2 however they both did well in our particle removal tests in the first test in a room of 120 ft the lavoid core mini managed to improve the air quality by about 91% while the lvh1 1228 improved the air quality by about 88% in in the second test which was in a 194 ft room the difference was even greater the lavoid core mini improved the air quality by about 89% while the LV h128 improved it by 81% both devices worked at their maximum speeds for a period of 60 minutes and we used the temp top laser particle meter to measure their air quality improvement all in all the results of this test are clear the lavoid core mini air purifier showed better performance frankly neither of these two air purifiers is one I would use to neutralize bad odors simply put they don't have a large enough activated carbon filter however we tested them in our smoke test and here are the results these two air purifiers have an identical number of fan speeds the only difference is that the LV h128 has a sleep mode but the core mini doesn't interestingly the core mini is quieter at first speed than the LV h128 in sleep mode at the lowest speed the levvo core mini produces a sound of 41.8 DBA while the LV h128 produces a sound of 42.4 DBA however the situation is a bit different at the maximum speed the lavoid core mini produces a sound of 53.6 DBA while the lavoid LV h128 produces a slightly quieter sound of 49.3 DBA overall both Levits are among the quietest air purifiers we have tested and I would use either in my bedroom considering the noise level however it's evident that the LV h128 is quieter and a bit better optimized for noise the first thing I want to mention regarding operating costs is that these two air purifiers are among the lowest power consumers on the market the core mini uses a motor of just 7 Watts while the LV h128 uses an even smaller motor of just 6 Watts if you were to use these two air purifiers at maximum speed 24 hours a day for 1 month your electricity bill would increase by about 63 cents in the case of the levvo core mini and about 46 cents in the case of the levit LV h128 however there is also the cost of replacement filters which is much lower in the case of the LV h128 even though it uses dual filters the lower power use and cheaper replacement filters make the levit LV h128 much more affordable for annual maintenance than the core Mini despite the levit core mini being a slightly newer model and in my opinion a bit more modern design-wise I have to say that the levit lvh1 128 performed slightly better in almost all tests except in the particle removal test those are some of the reasons why I chose it as the better option to buy the deciding factors when choosing the winner in this comparison were also more affordable maintenance dual filter and quieter operation if you have any questions about these two air purifiers please leave a comment below the video you can find all the links in the video description if you enjoyed this comparison please give it a like and click subscribe that's it for now
