First of all They've been growing up watching us some stuff so I mean really you were probably 14 when we if you watched from season one that's wild yes yeah you're pregnant these are new stages of life i'm an Uncle Daddy okay that's why I'm like season seven is going to be a little rocky y'all stay with me cuz you know what happens if your water breaks we in the middle of an episode you know what's wild i have purposely been wearing dresses because I am so uncomfortable with the idea of like being wet oh from like having my water these are the fears that I have oh so you want to hit the floor exactly i don't even know how that works don't I don't know if I want to know it's like think of a water balloon kind of like being popped and that means you got to go actually no in the movies they make it seem like it's No I know uh-huh first of all I had to completely cut out everything I've ever learned about babies because of movies and TV cuz it's like not That's all I know about them it's not accurate at all what's the So the water breaking is not an emergency it's I mean it's a notification like okay you have to now start preparing for labor but there's early labor and then there's active labor oh so early labor is like you're starting to have contractions and your your cervix is starting to open google what a cervix is i don't want to describe it screaming um uh but it's not until your contractions get to like a certain measure like closeness that you're in active labor which is the dramatics that we see in the push out scream you can get an epidural i'm terrified of needles so I don't know i don't know it's going to be I don't know it's going to be hard oh Lord i don't know i'm going to have to decide when the day comes i have also really high pain tolerance so I don't know you do mhm i've never known oh yes i You've You've cut yourself you all kind of stuff in here you just be like "Hey guys my how are my fingers falling off?" Well yeah that's true you do have a high pain tolerance um somebody said something and it went so fast oh sorry wait you didn't catch it okay Louisa says "Congratulations Mama Roxy i'm wishing you a safe quick and easy delivery." Thank you so much what's going to happen if you in uh labor for like 36 hours actually you know what I thought was really funny i had to do I had to do a hospital tour and so one of the things that the nurses mentioned which I just thought it's like when I used to work in the restaurant when you get to like a certain point they start like trying to push things along they're just like they'll like keep coming into your room like all right now cuz they like have to be prepared for other people to come in and give birth what if what if he's taking his time they literally try to do everything that they can to help what can you do to help it like move around that's actually the biggest thing so I have a playlist that I've been building that is like as like upbeat songs that I can have to like keep me moving oh my goodness throughout you know all the stages oh my gosh but what's been your worst day of pregnancy so far like what happened you okay um I really hated the first trimester that was really really hard what happened because Well you don't really see anything going on in the first trimester i was lucky i didn't actually ever throw up but I was constantly nauseous and also you know I don't sit down like I I have a problem with like staying still matt just rolled his eyes and so the fact that I was forced to not just like rest I was asleep like a majority of the day oh my god for the first two months oh wow i couldn't stay awake so that was really frustrating for me yeah cuz you don't like that yeah i don't take naps no so against all Oh my gosh guys i am so sorry i've missed so many let me try to catch up why isn't it like letting me see oh oh there's also cash okay breathe i'm about to go into labor myself okay angelica Taylor says "Congratulations Roxy and Matt." preparation like what's happening in the Roxy and Matthew household to get ready for new baby well that was actually Okay so I said earlier I haven't read a book i had no idea what to expect while I was expecting yes i really honestly didn't care to know i was just like I'm going to wing it and just see what happens that's what I would do um cuz I also too I just didn't want to get things in my head you know and like start to question like oh well the book said this and I haven't experienced that yet or whatever so anyway but the nesting thing I thought that meant that you just like get the like you know bassinet or like the crib together what is it but it's so much more than that it's like women will go through these phases where they have like intense need to like deep clean like they want to have every sing like the other day I wiped down every single blade on every single shade in every window of my home what for because there's dust on and so I didn't want the dust to affect the baby to be there and for him because you have to think about it like they literally come from such a like concentrated like very it's very protected in there so shielded from everything unless you know I I ingest crazy things right um yeah what you been eating what you been craving and stuff nothing nothing my appetite has been pretty much the same i just eat more of it like what like what's one of your go-to like Matt needs to keep this in the refrigerator well at the beginning it was it was cheese changes oh it changes well no cheese is a really big part i've always loved cheese but now it's like on a different level yes we used to have I put it I put it on everything what's the craziest thing you put the cheese on uh I think I put a little bit of cheese on my rice which I don't think that that's that crazy in a Chipotle kind of way maybe it was like a slice of cheese like sandwich cheese maybe I love cheese you put sandwich cheese on the rice i milk did you milk it milk it that is the most country thing I've ever said did you milk it i melted it in the microwave well the the rice was already hot so it kind of just like melted into it i love it so you may be having either a Taurus or a Gemini i know it's such a weird I don't even know how to feel about either of them because So here's the thing because Matthew's a Cancer yes and I'm an Aries by the way my birthday just happened yes so I am very intense obviously being a fire sign matthew is very calm being a water sign so naturally if the child is a Taurus him and Matthew will have a very like seamless relationship like they'll have a very calm like inviting they'll understand each they'll communicate really well if if he and I have to communicate it's like there's gonna have to be I think probably a heavier lift on my end because I'm so blunt and like I can be a little abrasive at times when I I've never experienced that i mean I treat all of our guests with respect but sometimes I'm just like information as they possibly can to make you as the person giving birth feel as comfortable and confident as you can um and so just learning about like the different styles of doulas that exist was also really interesting some of well I'm I've met her virtually but I'm meeting her in person this week um but so far she's just I I go very much on a person's personality like I met quite a few doulas and some of them were just like they just didn't have they weren't like what were you looking for i just needed someone who could like I feel like I could bant her with okay i needed to be able
