Bumpus Barnett for getting us off for a good start generally speaking to hear individuals boast about themselves is not very pleasant wouldn't you agree tonight look for three points why Christians are not boastful and as we look at our ministry it's truly a gift from Jehovah and it's a feature highlight in our midweek meeting in applying yourself for the field Ministry we will see practical suggestions to be observant when in formal witnessing how to be adaptable in the Min house-to-house Ministry and how to avoid talking too much when making disciples uh see what points you can glean and use in the ministry this week as we gain some insight while there are many good things prepared for us this evening let's get started we'd like to invite up now brother John guby as he develops our first talk do not be boastful why imagine hearing this conversation between a few friends before a meeting for Jehovah's help long service days and many any prayers I finally got a Bible study that's encouraging right but then you hear the next friend respond nice would jov's help I have four Bible studies two of them I got in the Door to-door Ministry one by letter and one informally in fact one's attending the meeting tonight for the first time and one's soon to be baptized keep up the good work that's something else right it's natural of course to take pride in our accomplishments and even to share these with close friends and relatives but we of course want to avoid U causing confusion competition rivalry or even envy and loyal Servants of Jehovah are not immune to the contagious Spirit to be boastful but note that our theme reminds us do not be boastful so in our time together we're going to use the scriptures to explain three reasons why we choose to follow this inspired course to not be boastful but first let's discuss what does it mean to be boastful well Mary and Webster's Collegiate thesaurus can help it gives us an idea some synonyms of this adjective boastful it says prideful egotistic bigheaded self- glorifying Hardy now these words they koot negative traits but the New World Translation it does denote boastful as 2 Timothy 3 and: 1-5 it identifies the negative qualities and traits common among people today but in particular the study note at 2 Timothy chter 3 and verse 2 it defines what it is to be boastful boastful hey people notice second Timothy Chapter 2 excuse me chapter 3: 2 the study note under boastful hottie it says a boastful person brags about and often exaggerates his abilities qualities and wealth a hoty person thinks that he is better than others though these qualities are similar boastful primarily refers to prideful speech whereas Hardy primarily refers to prideful thoughts and feelings so simply a boastful person brags about and often exaggerates themselves their speech and actions seek the Applause and admiration of others to be boastful is like patting yourself on the back and making somebody else watch I did really good right we have this thought in mind so now we know what it is to be boastful but let's use the scriptures to explain why we're to follow this inspired course do not be boastful reason number one let's go to Psalm 754 why do we we not want to be boastful Psalm 754 now the super script of Psalm 75 it confirms that this is a song of Asaf and is set to the melody notice do not bring to ruin uh this gives us an idea of the result that could happen if we were to remain boastful we would be asking not to be brought to ruin but if we notice here at Psalm 75 the psalmist Begins by giving thanks to God and then let's go down to Psalm 754 here says I say to the boastful do not boast and to the Wicked do not exalt your strength so here we see that both the boastful and wicked are told not to do something it was for their own good so young ones have your parents ever told you not to do something it's for your own good did you listen I know you did but but hypothetically let's just say you didn't knowing that they love you enough to warn you and to correct you so that it may go well with you how how do you think your parents would feel if you chose to disregard their words blinded by your Assurance in yourself your qualities your abilities they would be displeased with you but Jehovah here has inspired this to be written do not boast do not exalt your strength so do you think Jehovah would be pleased if such a boastful person would disregard his commands of course not so it's understandable then why this song is set to the melody do not bring to ruin so why should we follow the course do not be boastful reason number one Psalm 754 here it shows us that those who are boastful displease God reason number two let's go to Psalm 75 and give attention to 5-7 Psalm 75 5-7 reason number two here it says do not exalt your strength up high or speak with arrogance for exaltation does not come from the east or the west or the South for God is Judge he puts one man down and exalts another so if you notice here Psalm 75 at the end of four and five the footnote there for strength it literally means horn okay well the term horn figuratively denotes power or strength so this could be rendered in in five do not exalt your horn up high okay so what's the significance we're warned here against tooting our own horn exalting Our Own Strength our own power we're warned against arrogantly bragging about our abilities our responsibilities Psalm 757 it says for God is Judge we reminded this Jehovah is the one who exalts us with strength and power he bestows such gifts he enhances our abilities and and any assignments of responsibility we receive are a gift from Jehovah and our picture collage it helps us to illustrate this point in our meeting workbook if you notice in the picture on the left our brother is giving a talk at an assembly it's a great privilege but also a great responsibility and certainly our brother has made his participation on the program a matter of prayer and Jehovah has blessed his efforts if we look at what's happening on the right later our brother receives praise and attention from others but he refuses the glory we see the couple there maybe they're expressing appreciation for his effective illustrations his encouraging delivery but notice the sisters behind him they're even taking pictures of him he's not even posing instead he gives all the credit to Jehovah so with thorough preparation fervent prayer to Jehovah really we all Marvel at what Jehovah allows us to accomplish with his help so why should we follow the course do not be boastful reason number two Psalm 75 5-7 shows us that any privilege or assignment we receive is a gift an undeserved gift from Jehovah so let's briefly touch on reason number three it's discussed here at Psalm 7612 notice how Jehovah will respond if we choose to remain boastful another reason why we don't want to follow that course Psalm 7612 here it says speaking of Jehovah he will humble The Pride or literally Spirit of leaders he inspires fear in the kings of the earth so here we're highlighting that those who proudly show by their treatment of God's people that they stand in opposition to God they will be humbled by him those who pridefully compete for strength and power they will be humbled by him if a person or a nation refuses to Humble themselves Jehovah will do it for them and they'll suffer humiliation in due time so why should we follow the course do not be boastful reason number three Psalm 7612 shows us that those who are proud including Earth's hoty rulers they will be humbled by Jehovah so it's been a short time together but we've used the scriptures to to boast in the Divine author Jehovah so what would our three reasons that we are not to be boastful reason number one Psalm 754 remember those who are boastful displease Jehovah reason number two Psalm 75 5-7 it shows us recall that any privilege or assignment in the congregation we receive is an undeserved gift from Jehovah and reason number three Psalm 76 612 those who are proud will be humbled by Jehovah so let our speech and our action show that we follow the command do not be [Music] boastful thank you brother guby for emphasizing those three valuable points for not being boastful well now let's give our attention to brother haime Ramirez as he leads us in our spiritual [Music] gems and as always friends it's uh really a privilege for all of us to hear your beautiful comments and research as well your personal application so first of all uh if we can ask for a reader for Psalm 7610 uh if we can have uh sister Schuster please for the Rage of man will serve to your praise with the remnants of their rage you will Adorn yourself excellent thank you very much so that takes us into the question how can the Rage of man praise Jehovah and for this we'll turn to uh zoom and ask sister Mahan for her comment please when God allows humans to vent their rage against us because we are his servants a positive outcome can follow any hardship we may experience can discipline Us in some way Jehovah permits suffering to the extent that it provides such training excellent thank you very much sister molan and uh if we can have sister Brook heisen [Music] please I remember too we had a experience at a very discouraging door the householder was um very very rude and I had left and I was really dejected and my partner she encouraged me and it sticks with me because she said that's the exact type of person that's going to go around and tell everybody they meet about how the witnesses came by and ruin their day and hopefully that's that person is going to talk to somebody and give a witness and they'll be interested in what we have to say next time yeah thank you for that personal application appreciate it and sister Medina please [Music] defitely something we can keep in mind I was thinking that this definitely applies to our brothers and sisters in Russia that when they're imprisoned they use that um situation to praise and give glory to Jehovah and in the um latest update on jw.org there was Andre o Hopkin and he says that when he was in pre-t tral detention he was really afraid and he received a letter from another brother who was in prison and the brother tell him remember it's the size of your faith that is important not the size of your problems so from personal experience they both learned how to rely on Jehovah excellent thank you very much and uh sister oh my I lost it sorry do apologize yes please and that point there that even if we um even if we should sever to the point of death that certainly um Jehovah can use that um it it bring it lodged Jehovah so even if we um go to that point we don't have to worry because it's all going for Jehova and as was mentioned there at First Peter um 510 he um permits suffering only to the extent that it provid such training and so um it talks about um after you've suffered a little while so all these things um give glory to Jehovah yeah exactly the faithful endurance can help us right and brother C Brook please can help glorify Jehovah excuse me and because Jehovah uses these trials to train us it reminds us that when we're experiencing trial that trials the thing that should occupy our minds or preoccupy our minds is not necessarily when the trial will will end but by considering questions such as what does Jehovah want me to learn from this what is he trying to teach me because if we could appreciate how we're benefiting from The Trial then it's certainly going to encourage us to continue to endure excellent thank you very much friends for research really covered that point really good so moving on to the second question what spiritual gems from this week's Bible reading would you like to share um all the way in the back John I'm so sorry yes Psalms 771 and 12 lists three things uh that we should do and that is remember Jehovah's marvelous Deeds of long ago what Jehovah did in the past meditate on his present activity and Ponder how he deals with us today absolutely thank you sister lemman appreciate that and um sister Guston please I appreciate the good example that psalmist of Psalm 77 uh dealt with uh questions that he had that were tormenting him um regarding his faith in Jehovah it it just was very realistic how he kept having to make a diligent search and these thought these questions would puzzle him and even in verse 10 it said these things keep distressing me so it shows that if you have a question not just to put it off and put it away from a mind saying well I should know better and so therefore I'm just going to show faith and not actually attack the question and and learn why you can overcome it um so and these things might continue to persist but if you pray to Jehovah and really pour your heart into making a diligent search looking at the scriptures and articles you can Shore up your faith where it is weakened yeah absolutely thank you uh and sister Ward please he the site over [Music] here in chapter 75:8 um it mentions wine that uh Foams and apparently when wine Foams um it's it Foams I'm sorry when it's agitated which can uh represent Jehovah's feelings towards the wicked and it also mentions mixed wine and according to a watchtower the mixed wine is extremely bitter so it's not just a nice glass of wine that the wicked are enjoying but it's a bitter drink one that they're drinking down to the drags or to the bottom so it emphasizes how bitter the consequences will be when the wicked suffer Jehovah's wrath yeah absolutely thank you and sister Reitz thank you I was curious to know how the Chariot teer and the horse fell asleep in Psalm 766 and the Israelites were taught to trust in Jehovah rather than the horses and the Chariots of their enemies and had no reason to fear them so um the answer is that Jehovah could render them powerless that's what makes them fall asleep so this sleep refers to the indefinitely lasting sleep referenced in Jeremiah 5139 death itself and the research said that this should be a warning to world leaders today who trust in their arms absolutely thank you very much ah my goodness sister um here in the front Chelsea sorry got the first name I also appreciate uh Psalm 77 11 and 12 uh cuz no doubt we all had turning points uh in serving Jehovah or wanting to serve Jehovah uh so it's important to remember the works of Jehovah um but also to meditate on what he's done for us so I just appreciated that yeah thank you very much and uh right back yes right there next to Bob in 76: 11 it says to make your vows to Jehovah and pay them and let all who are around him bring their gift in fear and often when we think of giving something in fear it's because it's demanded but here it says make your vows so that's a joy Jehovah has given all of us which we willing willingly made so I appreciate the way the inside book painted the contrast as the fear of God being healthful in awe and a profound reverence for the Creator and a wholesome dread of displeasing him absolutely thank you very much and Theodora please [Music] sister I appreciate the words at 77 verse six which reads during the night I remember my song I Ponder in my heart art and I make a diligent search and the 2006 Watchtower showed that heartfelt concern for Spiritual truths and carefully searching them re takes time takes effort on our part meditation but how vital it is that we make room for that such measures of solitude because by doing so doing so we show appreciation for all Jehovah's given us including The Ransom to free us from sin and death so by our making the time in our lives to do personal research and study we respond to Jehovah's goodness and mercy and always value and appreciate his loving kindness by giving of ourselves and our time yeah I really enjoyed that part too about being alone with Jehovah right thank you sister SEL and uh sister right here in the back behind sister def Francis [Music] and I liked um 7712 as well because um it reminded me of what we experienced on then this year's convention when we saw Mary Mary was a woman who deeply meditated and because she exalted and glorified Jehovah's name by the way by the life that she led so we can all meditate and Ponder like Mary and the psalmist ASAP absolutely thank you friends for your comments we can see you did diligent work in going over these points Insight so please share with each other after the meeting as well thank [Music] you thank you brother Ramirez it's always a treat to hear your expressions of Faith thank you now we're going to go right into our Bible reading uh Psalms 75 and 76 and so let's give our attention to brother Nathan Bean as he does our Bible reading for us [Music] thanks to the director set to the melody do not bring to ruin of ASF a song we give thanks to you oh God we give thanks to you your name is near and people declare your wondrous works you say when I at a time I judge with fairness when the earth and all its inhabitants were dissolved it was I who kept its pillars firm I say to the boastful do not boast and to the wicked do not exalt your strength do not exalt your strength up high or speak with arrogance for exaltation does not come from the east or the west or the South for God is Judge he puts one man down and exalts another for there is a cup in Jehovah's hand the wine is foaming and is fully mixed he will surely pour it out and all the wicked of the earth will drink it down to the drgs but as for me I will Proclaim it forever I will sing praises to the god of Jacob for he says I will cut off all the strength of the wicked but the strength of the righteous will be exalted to the director to be accompanied with stringed instruments a melody of ASF a song God is known in Judah in Israel his name is great his shelter is in Salem and his dwelling is in Zion there he broke the flaming arrows of the bow the shield and The Sword and the weapons of war you shine brightly you are more Majestic than the mountain of prey the courageous of heart have been plundered they have fallen asleep the warriors were all helpless from your rebuke oh god of Jacob both the charioteer and the horse have fallen fast asleep you alone are a inspiring who can withstand your intense Anger from Heaven you pronounced judgment the Earth was afraid and was silent when God rose up to execute judgment to save all the meek of the Earth for the Rage of man will serve to your praise with the remnant of their rage you will Adorn yourself make your vows to Jehovah your God and pay them let all who are around him bring their gift in fear he will humble the pride of leaders he inspires fear in the kings of the Earth [Music] [Music] brother beam well done I enjoyed that thoroughly you have a very nice tone about their presentation and it's evident that you you practiced that um thinking about what you were working on enthusiasm in your point of uh Direction here and our teaching book tells us that in enthusiasm is getting your heart involved so you know the material and then you could present it in a way that reaches the hearts of those listening and how valuable that is when we're engaged in the ministry so as you were going through your reading very clear you enunciated you paused you stressed it uh stressing that point very well so Psalm 75 was a song Psalm 76 was a Melody so there was a little pitch difference in those but you did a really good job thank you and we look forward to your next talk now let's get right into our apply yourselves to the field Ministry and we're going to give our attention to Sister McMillan and sister Ward as they show Love by being observant ad that is a beautiful language you were just speaking may I ask what it is oh yeah it's Catalan oh is that from Northern Spain it is how did you know well one clue is we're sitting at a gate that's going to board to Barcelona but also I've Been to Spain before and I remember that was one of the languages spoken there is that where you grew up yeah it is I'm actually visiting my family I was just speaking to my mother oh how nice it is so beautiful there and the food is amazing it is I am glad to go back but I really hope they can visit me here someday trying to get visas has been a nightmare it's so timec consuming and expensive I understand you know traveling has become so difficult lately and you know when I travel to another country I often look out the window of the plan I think this is how God sees the Earth with no borders and it's so sad how people have set up these boundaries and they have even become prisons to some people I really look forward to a you know when we can freely travel or even live wherever we want you say that like it's really going to happen that's nice to think about but I don't think it's POS possible things just keep getting worse well it's interesting you should say that but can I show you something why I'm confident it will happen it's just a short one minute video that shows why it's possible really sure yeah it's on this website here jw.org have you ever seen it before no I haven't oh I love this website it covers many subjects and questions that we may have about family life and the future and it has content in over a thousand languages I'm sure it has catalon here let's look up here at the top is is the languages and in the drop- down let's scroll down to the C's here it is see catalon oh wow and so now you can see the website is in your language yeah so now I'll show you that video that I was talking about and it'll play in your language it's entitled who controls the world here you go huh that's interesting I didn't realize that the Bible answers why think are so bad and getting worse yes it does but did you notice that there was a good outcome um things will not always be like this because the Bible tells us how God is going to fix things and um how we can deal with it in the meantime and have happy lives oh you know what I just got an alert that my uh flight is uh ready to board you're not on this flight no it was so crowded over there I decided to come over here and I'm so glad I did because I got to meet you my name my name is Darlene by the way and yours Brianna so nice to meet you Briana you know what let me give you a card and it has the website with the QR code on it and it'll take you right to it on your phone and I also have my email address on there and if you have any that you would like to um dis you know discuss or um any questions that you have please feel free to reach out to me and and also too I would love to hear how it turns out with your family coming to visit thank you so much yeah this um I actually do have Wi-Fi on the plane and 9 hours to kill so this works out awesome well have a safe flight and a wonderful time with your family thank [Music] [Laughter] [Applause] you when we informal witness it doesn't happen necessarily by chance it's it's by Design you're thinking about where you're going where you're going to be and that's exactly what sister uh McMillan did in her travels at the airport what a perfect opportunity to give a witness in doing that uh sister McMillan you did a wonderful job outlining that finding her language navigating through the website featuring that video and then even following up with a contact card well done good example for us to learn from now let's look at our houset toh house ministry and how we can be adaptable so let's give our attention to Leilani fle and Asia Watson good evening my name is leani what's yours it's Asia nice to meet you Asia I'm just visiting our neighbors um asking this question how do you view the Bible are you a TR witness I really don't have time for this and I'm I'm not trying to be rude but I don't believe in God anymore I I know you weren't expecting me today but you're not alone questioning if God um exists but if you don't mind me asking have you ever felt this way I mean I used I was raised that way to believe in God but when I was younger my mom got really sick and that same year she died so I'm so sorry to hear that I can't imagine what you had to go through as a child yeah I just don't understand why God will let that happen many have struggled to understand why bad things happen but you know the Bible has an answer for that do you mind if I share something with you go ahead okay note here what it says at James 1:13 when under trial let no one say I'm being tried by God for with evil things God cannot be tried nor does he himself try anyone did you notice the first part of this verse when we Face trials we may feel like we're being tried or tested by God but that's not the case notice the second part wouldn't you agree that if God exists he cannot be tested by evil okay of course that would be impossible right and what Assurance do we find at the end of the verse that God doesn't try us with evil exactly now you still May Wonder uh who or what is the cause of our suffering and maybe next time I and a at a time more convenient for you we can answer that question sure um I'm free on Mondays sounds good [Applause] [Music] sister fle another nice job done there and the congregation responds because they recognize that uh you were looking at working on being natural and you were natural and it's not uncommon to get that objection I I don't believe in God but you were able to get around that by just tactfully asking have you always felt that way very pleasant and it engaged her and then you're able to use the scripture in James and to highlight a practical point and to be able to follow up as well so again good lesson for us um being natural at the door it draws people to the message well let's learn how to make a disciple now and uh under Jesus is not almighty God and how we do not want to talk too much so let's give our attention now to brother Alex Lopez and Finn bogz point four Jesus is not almighty God the Bible teaches that although Jesus is a powerful Spirit creature in heaven he is subject to his God and Father Jehovah why can we say that play the video to see what the Bible teaches about jesus' position in relation to the almighty God so now let's watch the video so now I'll go through a few of the scriptures that were mentioned in that video and we'll ask some questions about them so could you read Luke 13-32 for us please yeah sure so the angel said to her do not be afraid Mary for you have found favor with God and look you will become pregnant and give birth to his son and you are to name him Jesus this one will be great and will be called son of the most high and Jehovah God will give him the Throne of David his father thank you so how did the angel describe the relationship between Jesus and Jehovah God the most high say he was a son that's right and tying in our sub point that Jesus is not almighty God what action did the angel say would take place between them it said that God would give Jesus the Throne of David so he must be different and Superior but something I don't understand is how can David also be jesus' father that's a good question well if you tap on verse 32 and then that little letter H at the end of the verse there's a list of scriptural references could you read the third verse Psalm 13211 M Jehovah has sworn to David he will surely not go back on his word one of your Offspring I will place on the throne thank you so in this verse what was Jehovah promising David well I guess one of one of David's children would become king and who was that child it must have been Jesus cuz David was his forefather so I guess they same family but Jehovah was his creator that's right you got it so now let's look at the next verse Matthew 3 ver 16 and 17 I can read those after being baptized Jesus immediately came up from the water and look the heavens were opened up and he saw God's spirit descending like a dove and coming upon him look also a voice from the heaven said this is my son the Beloved whom I have reproved so the first question on this verse is at Jesus baptism what did the voice from Heaven say um this is my son the Beloved and I've approved him and whose voice do you think that was makes sense if it was God's that's right and would God be talking to himself if he were here on Earth also seems unlikely right so now let's go to John 14:28 could you read that for us mhm uh you heard it you heard that I said to you I am going away and I'm coming back to you if you loved me you would Rejoice that I'm going to the father for the father is greater than I am thank you so who is older and has more Authority a father or a son a father right and what did Jesus mean when he called Jehovah his father I guess that he created him yeah and building on Colossians 1:15 back from point1 in this lesson how was this fatherson relationship different from any other Jesus was the only begotten and um only one directly created by Jehovah EX l so now let's consider the last scripture John 12:49 it reads for I have not spoken of my own initiative but the father who sent me has himself given me a commandment about what to say and what to speak so the question is does Jesus think that he and his father are the same person what do you think well if he only says what his father wants him to say he must know that he's not God exactly because if he were God then you'd already know what to say right you're getting you're really doing well so now let's move to point [Applause] five brother Lopez you had a lot of information to cover that and you did excellent great reasoning helping your student to Gras the point um again you were looking at a lesson here on not saying too much keeping it simple simplifying it and you hit the point that it highlighted in that if the student didn't understand something you just didn't explain it and tell him you took him back to the scripture by using the cross reference and then rephrasing the question and then he got the point and then you you moved on we don't keep on talking about that same point once they get it so that's simplifying it and that's how we can make disciples and help one make progress very well done thank you so much brother Lopez for that presentation while from the Applause certainly our students did wonderful did you take one or two points out that you can use in the ministry this week talk about that think about that and we can uh help uh uh give effective witness to those in our community while now we all have the opportunity to particip ipate please stand and we're going to sing song number 127 brother Keith Bradley as he handles Point number our talk seven be loyal when praised brother Bradley you have our attention many who are famous because of their skills and achievements receive a lot of praise and glory in fact some individuals who are interviewed years after they leave the Limelight admit that agulation and praise is one of the things they sorely Miss could we unknowingly imitate that mindset well today if others were to praise or honor us because of perhaps maybe our family our talk talk talk we've given on assignments skills or just about anything we really have an opportunity and a privilege to honor the one who really deserves all glory and that's our god Jehovah well how so how can we do that well let's notice in the following video and see what we can learn from our brother surgey about how we can handle praise thank you so much for that talk that was wonderful thank you Ser Lexi Natalia yes it's US I haven't seen you balls since I know it's been 17 years we prayed for your release every night Serge thank you so much when they announced your name as our substitute circuit I couldn't believe it oh I I still can believe it what do you think I wanted to meet my wife this is Ana Natalia pleasure to meet you nice meeting you your husband studyed with us it's wonderful to meet up again after all these years would you both come to my home for dinner tonight it would mean so much to us sounds wonderful we would be happy to come thank you thank you we've been waiting for you all [Music] right well that was excellent like your talk s today yes it's rare for someone so young to teach as you do no I don't fether is right you are wise beyond your years do you think your time in prison prepared you I definitely had a lot of time to meditate so I guess it might have matured me a little you were there nearly twice as long as most of us we can only imagine how difficult those years were for you is it true you never saw your father again it's true you must be very strong to withstand that kind of pressure yeah I suppose so I wish you could be our real circuit over here we heard good things about brother elen many good things we hope to meet him soon he's okay but he's not the man of the people you have suffered like us you understand us we need someone like you Brothers I I appreciate the praise but I really don't deserve it yes you do no the praise should go to Jehovah it is only because of his power that any of us can serve him the way we do it's true it's only because of Jehova Spirit he deserves to praise and remember Jehovah is the one who chooses those who serve in the congregations each of us has strength that others don't have but Jehovah sees them all and he knows how to use them to advance his will so we must Trust Jehovah and be determined to appreciate the ones he has chosen to use all right excellent video for us to learn from let's notice how question what lessons did you learn from The Humble way that surg responded to [Music] praise let's get sister wi please [Music] really apprciate described first Peter 510 without even quoting it he said um that Jehovah will finish our training and he gave credit to for what he endured in his trials he also uh Jehovah of course will make us firm and he will make us strong so Serge gave all praise to to Jehovah for his endurance of these things that he suffered also he directed attention away from himself by telling the brothers it is Jehovah's appointments in choosing the ones that he the different talents that ones have in serving very good nice thought sister uh White please and it was nice how he directed all the praise to Jehovah even when the brothers were insistent on praising him he was like No it should go the glory should go to Jehovah and he didn't take that opportunity to try to detract or take away from others rather he um used scriptural advice to help build the friends up and encourage them to show some extra love to their Co very good he didn't fall for it good let's get brother Buck wall please one of sergey's close friends so maybe it might have felt easier for him to accept the praise or agree with it but he directed all the attention to Jehovah and said it was Jehovah that advances the work and him uh Jehovah who chooses the brothers excellent very nice Point nice expressions from everyone we were really just reminded right that every human on earth has gifts and talents and as we use ours as we serve our god Jehovah we can continue to remember right always remember that Jehovah is the source of those gifts and secondly no matter what privilege we have we always support who Jehovah uses that way we continue our good work of deflecting honor from ourselves and onto the source that really deserves all praise our god Jehovah back to our chairman [Music] thank you brother Bradley that was a a touching video teaching us many fine lessons well are you excited for next month September we have our special campaign to start Bible studies with the enjoy life brochure let's give our attention to brother Tracy tacket as he discusses the details of this convent or this campaign you know one of the greatest Joys we can have is to watch someone who we've assisted symbolize their dedication to God by baptism is it but now before that person gets baptized takes that step what has to happen well we have to study with them before we study with him what has to happen we have to offer a Bible study don't we and so in the month of September that is going to be our Focus we are going to offer and start hopefully Bible studies using our enjoy life forever brosure so what can help us to accomplish our ministry during this very special month of activity well the first thing we would like to do is to set goals now the first goal we can set is to actually start and conduct a Bible study and so we want to keep that in mind we really want to focus on that as we go about our ministry throughout the whole month focusing on offering and starting Bible studies the second goal that we could set could we increase our activity during that particular month now maybe we we cannot Pioneer maybe we cannot even auxiliary Pioneer in September however can we still increase our activity hopefully we can the second thing that we want to do is we want to pray for Jehovah to bless our efforts in this very special campaign you know I'm sure all of us have heard experiences or maybe we've read experiences about individuals who were praying to God for guidance to know the truth to know who he was in fact there's a good example of this in the Bible if we turn to Acts chapter 10 notice what it states about the man Cornelius in verses 1 and two there in Acts chapter 10 says now there was a man in cesaria named Cornelius an army officer in what was called the Italian unit he was a devout man who feared God together with all of his household and he made many gifts of Mercy to the people and made supplication to God continually just think about it there could be someone right now in our territory who is praying to Jehovah God for an understanding in the scriptures what a blessing it would be if Jehovah used one of us here to find that individual and to study with him so when we think about our personal prayers then for Jehovah we want to pray that Jehova directs us to those who are searching and that with the aid of his holy spirit we can can help and assist them to make progress to study the Bible with them now as we think about our campaign we know we're going to be using our enjoy life forever uh in all avenues of service no matter what Avenue of service we're using it in but have you ever tried or thought about offering the enjoy life brochure as a study on the initial call it's true we don't have set presentations anymore however when we look at the back of the brochure it does make it easier to offer this as a study on the initial call doesn't it why because it's set up just like our tracks we have our questions we have a scripture to use and then if the person shows some interest we have either two more scriptures that we could share with him or the artwork to pique their interest then at the end we have a couple of other questions we could ask and then what go right into our brochure and demonstrate what the study is about in our cart work we know we're we're going to be highlighting this on the carts and so if an individual approaches the cart and they show interest in a brochure make sure you let them know that this comes with a free Bible course and again if you can demonstrate it right then or get their contact information so you can make a arrangements to do so in the future what about informal witnessing well we may not have the brochure with us a hard copy but we could send a person a digital copy couldn't we we have our contact cards we have our tracks that we can carry so if we're doing some informal witnessing if you can make sure you get that person's contact information and that way you can keep in contact with them and then hopefully you'll be able to get them this brochure another thing that's good to remember is sometimes if we offer a study people might ask well what happens at a study so make sure you have the video downloaded what happens at a Bible study especially if we're doing our carts uh because we know cell service up there is terrible so have that downloaded now when we study the Bible with someone one thing that we definitely want to do is we want to make it appealing to them we want to show them how this Bible study is going to affect them personally now a good example of this was a sister named poppy poppy got invited into This Woman's House the wman showed interest and when poppy got in there she noticed there was a certificate on the wall that indicated this woman was a professor of education and so Poppy discussed with her and told her we too enjoy education and we educate people by Bible studies and by meetings well what happened I'm sure we can guess can't we the woman went started a study she went to the meetings one year later she became our sister so be observant when we're in individual's homes now let's talk about our local territory a little bit two things are true we have a lot of do not calls and we work our territory frequently that's true so what can help us to be positive about our territory please remember this people's circumstances change and sometimes they can change overnight for years a person may have not wanted to talk may not have wanted to talk to us as Jehovah's Witnesses but now all of a sudden for whatever reason death economics the future concern they now have a spiritual interest they want to talk they want to learn so we have to be open-minded about our territory look for those Avenues uh think about how people's circumstances do change and take advantage of it but we also want to remember this Jehovah gives us commission he says we are to plant and we are to water but he is the one that actually makes it grow doesn't he so we we may do our best to offer Bible studies during the month and we may not get a Bible study but just remember Jehovah is not basing his happiness on our results it's on our efforts isn't it and that's what counts so friends let's do our utmost then to offer our brochure offer as many Bible studies and hopefully start as many Bible studies as we can no a what Avenue of service we're sharing in in this special month of [Music] September thank you brother t for that practical encouragement in uh being prepared for this special campaign in September well we've come to our final part and that's our congregation Bible study and I we like to invite up brother Tim Shaw who will be conducting that and brother Andrew crook who will be reading for brother [Music] Shaw take you well welcome it's nice to see all of you folks here tonight as you recall last week we had reached an inflection point suspense was in the air the apostles and the elders were intensely looking at one another would Christians remain under the law what if anything would the governing body do thankfully Jehovah's Spirit was pointing the way Isn't Our God amazing and how he works with his people well tonight we're going to pick up that discussion by asking three questions one what moveed James to offer words for consideration two what effect would those words have on Jehovah and three who today looks to Jehovah and Jesus for direction in all matters well I'll tell you friends we are eagerly looking forward to your comments tonight your thoughtful your heartfelt comments so please we need your participation so feel free to raise your hands and to get involved in our lesson tonight our reader tonight will be Brother Andy Crook and he will begin our lesson by reading paragraphs 7 and name brother crook please moved by such scriptural evidence and the powerful testimony he had heard James went on to offer these words for consideration therefore my decision is not to trouble those from the Nations who are turning to God but to write them to abstain from things polluted by Idols from sexual immorality from what is strangled and from blood for from ancient times Moses has had those who preach him in City after City because he has read aloud in the synagogues on every Sabbath when James said therefore my decision is was he asserting his authority perhaps as chairman of the meeting over the other brothers and arbitrarily deciding what was to be done not at all the Greek expression rendered my decision is may also mean I judge or I give an opinion far from ruling over the entire body James was proposing for their consideration a course of action based on the evidence heard and on what the scriptures say about the matter our first question what did James propose let's get our sister in the back please looking looking at the ruling over the entire body James was proposing for this um consideration of the course of action so that was based on the evidence that was heard and on what the scriptures said about the matter thank you very much we appreciate that comment let's get Tony a [Music] front so at acts 15 19- 21 he proposed not to trouble those from the Nations but to write them to abstain from things polluted by Idols from sexual immorality from what is strangled and from what was and from blood Tony thank you for bringing out those key words appreciate that let's go to the B part of this question how should we understand James words oh we got a little hand here how should we understand those words James was giving his opinion on what he thought they should do oh that was wonderful thank you let's uh get uh brother Schuster in the back often times uh when a bodybuilders meets together they will thoroughly discuss a situation and the chairman or the coordinator of the body will in a effect summarize what he feels the conclusion has been drawn by that body and present it as a recommendation to the body for adoption so in in this case uh it was similar to what is described here as James making a conclusion and presenting it to the governing body for decision thank you brother Schuster and let's get my brother here on the [Music] aisle and it's really understandable to confuse um his speech meaning that he was making a final decision often times when someone has Authority and be it a king or even a a father in a household and typically when there's been much deliberation between the family or even in subjects a person will say my decision is final meaning they've had the final say and now the discussion is over but here James was not that type of man although having the responsibility of being chairman James was simply internalizing a decision that he had made for himself and now sharing that with his his fellow Believers oh we like that comment thank you very much brother let's get my sister here I appreciate the study Bible that the study material that mentioned the Greek expression is used here it doesn't indicate that James who was the chairman is brought out of the meeting tried to impose his own opinion on the entire group so so further down it mentions that opinion was based on his conclusion from this scripture just quoted appreciate that comment very nice let's get my brother in the back so we don't see here one person trying to control the whole governing body or control the whole congregation or the whole Christian religion is interesting that in some false Christian religions Christ Christendom religions they do have one guy who tries to run the whole religion but that's not the way that the first century Christians did things and they runer holy spirit so they set a good example by having the whole body to be able to come to the decision eventually okay very good brother Hunter please so we see obviously Jehovah's Spirit was using James because he kind of crystallized what Jehovah's thinking was on this matter and we've used those words for the past 2,000 years even to our thinking on these principles um of Christian conduct I like that and you know friends like our Good Friends James when making decisions what should all of us strive to avoid at all costs in invitation to [Music] James let's get a sister in the back we should avoid trying to just insert our own opinion with without looking to Jehovah for direction and seeing which scriptural evidence we have beautiful let's move to paragraph nine was James proposal a good one obviously it was for the apostles and the elders later adopted it with what benefits on the one hand the recommended course would not trouble or make it difficult for Gentile Christians by imposing upon them the requirements of the Mosaic law on the other hand this decision would show respect for the conscience of Jewish Christians who over the years had heard Moses read aloud in the synagogues on every Sabbath the recommended course would surely strengthen the bond between Jewish and Gentile Christians above all it would please Jehovah God reflecting his advancing purpose What a fine way to resolve a problem that threatened the unity and well-being of the entire Congregation of God's people and what an excellent example this is for the Christian congregation today thank you so Jane's proposal offered what benefits what were they to start with my sister here it had a uniting effect showing really Jehovah's blessing and spirit and the study Bible brought out on the scripture in Acts 15 that James referred to the writings of Moses which included not only the law code but also God's dealings with his people and indication of his will which predated the law code for example God's view on the consumption of blood and adultery was plainly seen in the Book of Genesis way before the law code was given so Jehovah God revealed his will from years ago before Moses was being used to teach the people show the people and Jehovah's was blessing him and the decision by James to unite the um first century Brothers thank you for bringing it out we appreciate that brother lall going along with sister sa Hill this proposal by James really appealed to both parties both the Gentile Christians and the Jews so this was such a in moment pleasing Jehovah as well and as we know his Chariot is always on the move and there's always updates so James offering this really did benefit everyone well put brother lall thank you let's get uh brother Kasich in the back yeah right along with Will's comment it was it was equalizing and so here there it was a simplification of this message and and all of a sudden here's the Jewish Christians and the all those of the nation they would be equal straight across the board and that that reflects Jehovah and his desire for all mankind so what a wonderful loving Arrangement thank you sister Bradley please and it just helps us uh strengthen our confidence in Jehovah and his organization because there can be things that um could seem to be divisive and cause um riffs in the organization but if we stick to Jehovah his holy spirit will always direct us in the right direction and keep that unity and peace there at all times oh we like that sister bread a good job sister please and just as a side point something I appreciated is it says that above all it would please Jehovah reflecting his advancing purpose so this goes to show that adjustments and understanding have always been a part of Jehovah's organization and it's up to us to move along with Jehovah's Church to avoid that disunity I'm so happy you brought that out thank you sister let's get our little brother here it will make Jehovah happy oh wonderful want it and we want to always make our God happy let's go to paragraph number 10 please as mentioned in the preceding chapter like its first century counterpart the governing body of Jehovah's Witnesses today looks to Jehovah the universal Sovereign and Jesus Christ the head of the congregation for direction in all matters how is this done Albert D schroer who served on the governing body from 1974 until he finished his Earthly course in March 2006 explained the governing body meets on Wednesday opening the meeting with prayer and asking for the direction of Jehovah's Spirit a real effort is made to see that every matter that is handled and every decision that is made is in harmony with God's word the Bible similarly Milton G henel A longtime member of the governing body who finished his Earthly course in March 2003 presented a fundamental question to the graduating students of the 101st class of the Watchtower bible school of Gilead he asked is there another organization on Earth whose governing body consults God's word the Bible before making important decisions the answer is obvious thank you brother so how does a Gover body today follow the pattern set by his first century counterpart let's get Brother Rice on Zoom well we just considered how Jehovah Jehovah's uh governing body in earlier days look to Jehovah for direction and brother schroer who served on the governing body for 32 years confirms that that's what the governing body is doing today it's and this is what he said he said the governing body meets on Wednesday opening the meeting with prayer and asking for the direction of Jehovah's Spirit a real effort is made to see that every matter that is handled and every decision that is made is in harmony with God's word the Bible so they're copying the examples set by those first century Christians wonderful thank you very much for that comment brother let's get our brother here please and what I love about it is no matter how long uh we've been here how long the governing body has been uh making decisions for us um even though things do happen to change over time as time goes on as we know that now we're able to grow facial hair like beards and you know we're not required to wear ties um this the one principle the one thing that never changes is the fact that they always turn to the Bible to make those decisions okay very good let's move on to uh our box here how the gbody is organized today and brother would you read the first paragraph like the first century Christians Jehovah's Witnesses today are directed by a governing body of dedicated Spirit anointed men the governing body meets weekly as a group its members are also organized into the following six committees each having its own responsibilities thank you so now when they meet how can you and I show that we support them what can we do to show our support when they meet on a weekly basis let's get our friend here we can definitely keep them in our prayers as we know the meeting on Wednesday and we see that they take it very seriously for their six committees that they're organized into so we can pray that joah be with them as we know they do and they're going to make a good choice we can have confidence in awesome thank you so much for that very wonderful comment on your part let's get into that first committee would you read that for us brother the coordinators committee oversees legal matters and the use of the media when necessary to convey an accurate picture of our beliefs it also responds to disasters outbreaks of persecution and other emergencies affecting Jehovah's Witnesses anywhere in the world so how are you and I benefited from the decisions that this committee makes what's been a benefit we see what they do so how are we all benefit it let's get our little hand here I didn't understand that but I'm sure it was right and accurate thank you little brother well we know the oh let's get our brother here I'm sorry one of the things is that responds to disasters so that's something that's happening right now we have a lot of disaster relief committees in different parts of the world and uh Even in our country different states so that is a a key uh way we see that firsthand right now perfect and how did we feel about their response to covid-19 they responded to that so how do we personally feel about their response to governing body let's get our brother here please one thing that I really appreciated was the fact that already in place the governing body had established field service groups with the field service group overseer who would communicate um with to make sure every publisher in his field service group has communicated with twice a week and then would Bo that information on to the coordinator of the body of Elders who would forward to the Circuit over who would forward it to the Serv service department who would forward it to the governing body and that was going on in every congregation on the entire world so twice a week the governing body knew the condition of every publisher under during the pandemic wonderful comment thank you very much for that comment let's read about the next committee the Personnel committee oversees arrangements for the spiritual and personal welfare of bethl family members who serve in the branch offices of Jehovah's Witnesses earthwide in addition this committee supervises the inviting of additional new members to serve at Beth at Branch offices so this kind of hits close to home doesn't it how do you friends personally have you benefited from decisions that this committee has made sister please well for many who serve at the branch itself or who are commuting or remote workers occasional commuters those decisions are being made by the Personnel committee so we wouldn't be involved in this service if it were for the decisions that they're making well put thank you so much let's get sister Schuster all the way in the back yes and as sister crook mentioned because of the area in which we live in this really uh plays an important part to the branch office here in the United States however it's just not here in the United States as was mentioned but it's worldwide so we can really see what a big responsibility once again the first committee we discussed and now the uh Personnel committee that it really is for the entire Brotherhood thank you let's go to the next committee please the publishing committee supervises the printing publishing and shipping of Bible literature it oversees the printeres and properties owned and operated by the corporations used by Jehovah's Witnesses and the construction of Branch facilities as well as kingdom halls and assembly Halls this committee also supervises the use of donated funds so how do you friends feel about this committee perhaps we can get a few Expressions let's get uh brother maresi [Music] well I think we all benefit from uh some of the printed material that we receive but it's not just the printed material it's the polished material which would include the electronic device uh information that we have and another thing that that touches all of us is this committee supervises the donated funds I'm sure we all donate funds we all take part in that I know we do so them supervising that and making sure it's used in the best way it possibly can can is a is a big relief because it really helps all of us all right appreciate that comment let's get our sister yes you H your hand up oh yes and it even benefits us when we have a Kingdom Hall that's a little rundown and we need a renovation and the assembly Halls how they are T well taken care of so it benefits us because they use their funds correctly perfect and brother and especially more for the uh the construction of the kingdom halls and the assemblies to follow up on that sister's comment um I remember when they were Reen renovating my old um My Old Kingdom Hall and I was speaking to the coordinator that was in charge of making sure that everything was running smoothly um it put it put on a grand scale to see how much is put into just a renovation of a Kingdom Hall and then on top of that having to build a Kingdom Hall or to build an assembly hall um and that just that's just one instance knowing that there's hundreds of Kingdom Halls just being built in the same time frame and that this committee is able to handle that all together thank you let's move to our next committee the service committee oversees the preaching work along with matters affecting congregation Elders circuit overseers and full-time evangelizers this committee also invites and assigns students of Gilead school for the purp purpose of stabilizing and strengthening the worldwide work now how do we feel about this committee's efforts please what's our feelings oh let's K Drew thankful for this committee's and all their hard work it says that they oversee the preaching work um and none of us would be here if it wasn't for the preaching work in one one way or another whether it was our parents who got it Grandparents or maybe even ourselves so all of our lives have been saved because of the hard work of these that these committees uh or that this committee does thank you drew appreciate that comment brother let's get to Unice and to add a little to that it definitely makes me more confident when I go out there and I find people and I'm ready to like preach to them even if I don't have answer to it right away I know I can research and find something wonderful thanks Unice let's go to our next committee the teaching committee oversees the instruction provided at assemblies conventions and congregation meetings as well as the development of audio and video programs It prepares curriculums for Gilead School the Pioneer service school and other schools and arranges spiritual programs for branch Office volunteers okay awesome committee they've got oversight of SK we have our workbooks because this committee how do we personally feel about their awesome efforts in our behalf brother please it's amazing to me how our midweek meeting uh our Watchtower weekend meeting our um circuit assemblies and our conventions they dovetail together even the morning worship that we have are examining this Scriptures Daily there's so much Harmony it's like how does this develop how does it happen it's just so Flawless well the teaching committee is responsible for that appreciate that comment let's get uh let's get our brother here [Music] thanks just think about where we would be if there was no teaching committee never in history has a brother got gotten up on the stage and say sorry friends we don't have any information to go over today so it's just thinking about how Jehovah instructs his people and how the teaching committee is a definitely a tool that Jehovah uses in his hands perfect and I saw yeah sister yeah keep your hand up yes um the reason we look forward uh with Such Great Gusto to our conventions is the work uh that comes from the teaching committee it really is directed by Jehovah it's right on time and it's so memorable so we look forward to it every year and it changes Our Lives appreciate that expression let's go to our next committee the writing committee supervises the production of spiritual food for the congregations and for the general public it also answers Bible questions oversees translation work worldwide and approves such material as drama scripts and talk outlin so what do you think about those public talks every Sunday and those dramas how does it make you feel personally have you benefited sister you benefited well I personally really have benefited from all of the material they've made for young ones um when we first became parents it's you know terrifying and we want our children to serve Jehovah um and all that they have done um in making Publications for us to teach our children and Caleb and Sophia and it's it was written that um there was that Caleb and Sophia has been translated into 510 languages wow and I'm sure that that has made so many parents so happy um to have the their example for our children nice let's get a sister here that hand up and I'm like the brother that mentioned about the drama uh videos at the convention how he read the Bible so many times but it just came alive um when we see the dramas doesn't it thank you wonderful comment uh is that [Music] sh and I like the fact that it um that it also answers Bible questions um I found that very interesting so um definitely you know we've been benit it from that when we have um you know a question that needs to be answered so yeah thanks sh let's get a sister uh I think this sister uh yes something that touched my heart about the writing committee is that articles in watchtowers are most likely written not most likely but most times are written about a year in advance before we get to read them and that's just so mindboggling to me because something that's written a year in advance so much can happen in year but when we get our articles and our watchtowers it's right on time for us it's exactly what we need so it really helps us put a lot of confidence in Jehovah because he knows exactly what we need at exactly the right time that's a good point I'm glad you brought that out sister please and I also appreciate the translation work that they direct because it gives us confidence that we can talk to anybody and um find some way to communicate with them either in their mother tongue or another language that they're familiar with thank you brother yeah in harmony with that I was too thinking about the translation work I remember um brother Spain a member of the governing body said before we can help people learn about Jehovah they need a Bible in their translate in their language so small language groups they are meticulously going through and translating the Bible for them what Corporation or or company out there would do that they wouldn't do it but because of the love this committee has and following Jehovah's will they are doing that getting God's word out to the common people thank you nice comment you know friends Jehovah and his son are so proud of a governing body and we are too aren't we these men work so hard on our behalf you think back on these committees and what these committees do we have been benefited tremendously tremendously from the work of those committees let's read our last paragraph the governing body relies on God's holy spirit for direction its members do not regard themselves as the leaders of Jehovah's people rather like all anointed Christians on Earth they F they keep following the lamb Jesus Christ no matter where he goes brother Kook very nice reading tonight thank you so much so what does a governing body rely on themselves what do they rely on let's let's get this clear sister what do they rely on I rely on Jehovah's Holy Spirit very nice you know friends let's summarize what we've learned here [Music] tonight how was the governing body able to reach a unanimous decision well quite simply they accepted the spirit's guidance and today the governing body is following the very same pattern and you and I must do likewise why because all of us in this room in this Auditorium all of us will continue to face decisions and challenges in our lives as Christians so we must follow that same exact pattern and I can't thank you enough for your awesome intelligent very thoughtful answers to these questions they were wonderful thank you we'll turn our meeting back over to our chairman all right thank you thank you brother Shaw brother crook for navigating us through that beautiful uh discussion with our our dear brothers of the governing body and those committees we are truly a blessed people without a doubt and wouldn't you agree that this evening we enjoyed a well-oiled dish spiritually speaking that fed our minds and our hearts most truly we had we've learned that the privilege given an assignment we may receive in the congregation is an undeserved gift from Jehovah and so all honor belongs to Jehovah and for that reason we have no reason or cause to boast and what about the those beautiful lessons we learned from our dear brother Sergey he taught us primarily praise goes to Jehovah it's through his spirit that we can accomplish what is being done today so we honor Jehovah first and foremost and we were encouraged brother tet as we look forward to our campaign in September starting Bible studies did you notice set goals offer um Bible studies can we increase our activity and of course pray for Jehovah's blessing on this activity find encouragement for us in our local territory we warmly welcome brothers and sisters with another video welcome back to our channel in this one we're going to be considering discussing some of the main points related with the student assignments for the week of August 19th to 25th 2024 friends we welcome you and now let's Jump Right In so we notice that for this time we have the assignment number three this corresponds to the PSM 75 ver 1 to chapter 76: 12 and the study to work on is number 11 from the teaching brochure and this is intitled enthusiasm and this is really important we might think this is only when we are having a conversation or giving a discourse however even if we are reading aloud we could show reflect this quality of enthusiasm how stimulating and motivating our listeners by speaking by reading with Ze and first of all to make it it's really important get your heart involved as you prepare to deliver your presentation think deeply about the importance of your message so good preparation is essential get to know your material so well that you can express yourself from the heart again good preparation is the key the next one says think about your listeners meditate on how the information you'll read or teach will benefit others consider ways to present that information in a way that will depend your listeners appreciation for it and speak with Zeal use natural gestures and sincere faal Expressions to reflect your feelings but this is preventing us warning us to don't distract your listeners by using the same gesture repeatedly as a mannerism and we we must be careful to exaggerating avoiding exaggerating so the way we speak or we read in other words we want crying if we are reading David's confession before Jehovah or we won't scream out in front of our audience if we are reading how goad was challenging the isites so we avoid these extremes and we notice that for this time the Bible reading is very positive it's it says we give thanks to you oh God we give thanks to you your name is near and people declare your wondrous works you say when I set a time I judge with fairness when the earth and all its inhabitants were dissolved it was I who kept its pillars firm saah I say to the boastful don't boast and to the wicked don't exalt your strength don't exal your strength up high or speak with arrogance for exaltation doesn't come from the east or the west or the South for God is Judge he puts one man down and exalts another for there is a cup in Jehovah's hand the wine is forming and is fully mixed he'll surely pour it out and all the wicked of the earth will drink it down to the Dres but as for me I'll Proclaim it forever I'll sing praises to God of Jacob for he says I'll cut off all the strength of the wicked but the strength of the righteous will be exalted the a prescription also must be readed to the director to be accompanied with the strange instruments a melody of Asaf a song God Is Knowing Judah in Israel his name is great his shelter is in Salem and his dwelling is in Zion there he broke the flaming arrows of the bow the shield and The Sword and the weapons of war sa you shine brightly you are more Majestic than the mountains of pray the courageous of heart have been plundered they have fallen asleep the warriors were all helpless from your rebuke oh god of Jacob both The Chariot and the horse have fallen fast asleep you alone are all inspiring who can with stand your intense Anger from Heaven you pronounce judgment the Earth was afraid and was silent when God rose up to execute judgment to save all the meek of the earth sah for the r of man will serve to your praise with the remnants of their R you'll Adorn yourself make your vows to Jehovah your God and B them let all who are around bring let all who are around him bring their gift in fear he'll humble the pride of leaders inspires fear in the kings of the earth so that's about the number three and number four is about starting a conversation in formal witnessing future a video from from jw.org in the person's preferred language this is the LA people brochure be observant point for interest in others and some questions to think about is what is the person currently doing what might he be thinking about what do the person's clothing appearance or home tell me about his beliefs of or culture is the is a good time to talk to the person number five is about if starting a conversation house to house be adaptable and adjust your comments when the person tells you that he doesn't believe in God and naturalness La people brochure Point number five be adaptable a conversation may go in an expected Direction so be willing to share something that is relevant to the person even if that means discussing a different Bible truth that the one than the one you have in mind so friends that's a rra a quick review about some of the student assignments for this time so thanks for watching stay safe and hope to see you in another broadcast
