What is explanation text? Explanation is a text which tells the process of natural, social, scientific, and cultural phenomena. It is often found in science, geography, and history textbook.

The explanation text is a text that contains processes related to natural phenomena, social, geography, or culture that has ever happened. In explanation text, the recessive function or communicative purposes of explanation text is to tell the reader how something works or why something happens. Text explanation explanation is intended to explain what, why, and how something happens. Usually, the events that are explained in the explanation text will be explained in detail so that readers can understand the information well.
