Uno Game Rules

Basic Overview

  • Players: Minimum of 2; more players make it better.
  • Setup:
    • Deal 7 cards to each player.
    • Place remaining cards face down in the middle (Draw Pile).
    • Turn the first card face up to start the Discard Pile.

Game Play

  • Starting the Game: The first player plays a card that matches the number, color, or type of the top card on the Discard Pile.
  • Wild Card: Can change the color being played.
  • Drawing a Card:
    • If unable to play, draw from the Draw Pile.
    • If the drawn card matches the top card in the Discard Pile, it can be played; if not, the turn passes to the next player.
  • UNO Call: When a player has one card left, they must yell "UNO!" before someone else does.
    • If another player yells "UNO!" first, the original player must draw two cards.
  • Winning: The first player to play all their cards wins.

Special Cards

  • Skip Card: Skips the next player's turn.
  • Reverse Card: Changes the direction of play.
  • Draw Two Card: Forces the next player to draw two cards and skip their turn.
  • Wild Draw Four Card: Acts as both a wild card and a draw card, allowing the player to change the color and force the next player to draw four cards.
