They give us food like vegetables and fruits, provide us fresh air. Where we breathe and they create homes habitat for many animals like insects and birds also. As human being need water to drink, air to breathe, sunlight to get energy. Shelter for protection and food to eat plant also have some basic needs. Let's have a look one by one.
What does a plant need to grow? Plant basic needs. They need water.
They need air. They need light. They need soil.
They need space. Plants are living things like us. If a plant does not get its basic needs, It will wilt and die. Water. Why plant needs water?
Plant needs water to grow. Plants go from the roots and travel through the plant stem. If they will get enough Without water, they will be healthy. Without water, the plant will dry and they will wilt or die. Air.
Dear kids, do you know air is very important to plant. Plant need air for making their food and to breathe like us. My dear friends, plant take in carbon dioxide and turns into oxygen. Without air, plant will die. Sunlight as we know sunlight is very important for us like same sunlight is very important for plants also plants need light also to make food light gives enough warm and energy to plants my dear friends if it is too hot plant will dry and plant will die so they require the moderate temperature to grow without light plant will not grow properly and they will be yellowish and brownish not green in color soil My dear student, soil is very important for the healthy growth of a plant.
Plants need the good food that is found in the soil that is called the nutrients like potassium, like nitrogen. So soil provide nutrients for the plant growth. Space like other needs plant needs good space.
Plant needs space for roots to spread out and grow. They need good access of light that's why they need good space to grow. Let's revise one more time the basic needs.
A plant to grow healthy. Number one, water. Plants need water. Air.
