Good morning, my name is Tammy Robinson and I'm here to share some wonderful information with you on this morning. Did you know that you can discharge any debt at any time whether it's on your credit report or not? Debts are making people suffer these days and this is something that I want to share with you guys five steps of how you can discharge a debt. First of all before I get into the five steps I just want to share with you guys that the section 609 law or loophole really does work because it worked for me personally and that's why I'm here sharing this information.
This is student loan debt that I had way back in 2016 or so and the debt was anywhere between thirty nine thousand I want to say to fifty something thousand dollars after interest and on 2018 when I submitted that letter the section 609 law worked for me down at the bottom you will see where the two debts for student loans had been deleted and removed. Not just deleted from my credit report, you guys. It was totally discharged. And why I say it was discharged is because I no longer owe that debt. And this is the reason why.
There's a clause in that law that was written by my personal attorney. And it's called the cease and desist clause. Now, this is the letter that separates any other letter from a dispute letter.
The Section 609 loophole law not only allows you to dispute debts, but it also allows you to add that cease and desist clause in it because if a debt collector doesn't have your original signature and contract, they must cease and desist. desist all debt collection practices. Now we're going to first of all first step you're going to pull all three of your credit reports.
TransUnion, Echo Facts, and Experience. Step number two you're going to check for all derogatory items. Okay that's including balances. It could be bad debt or it could be good debt that you just really don't think you owe the debt.
Step number three you want to use the template. We have a template that you could follow. or you can use us to help you to do this professionally. Now, I highly recommend using the template because you can go ahead and do it yourself, and you can write down all of those derogatory items from your credit report, from all three credit bureaus, and it has to be the last debt that they are soliciting for.
Like, for instance, you have an original creditor. Like, you can have an original student loan that started years ago, and they sold that debt. debt to a debt collector you will not send that template letter to that original creditor because it might have a zero balance you want to send that letter to the last debt collector that's still soliciting for that debt their response number four you're going to um take an inventory of all of the debts that's old and you're going to list them one by one you're going to put the amount you're going to put the uh account number you're going to put the reason why you are asking them to remove the item maybe it has late payments and so forth but we'll get into all of that and finally step five you want to stamp your right thumb in red ink on the seal page this word right here on this Federal Trade Commission page is seal you're going to seal it there's no spot for a signature. You do not want to sign this page because you're asking the creditor to provide you with the contract and signature.
And remember, if they don't send you that contract and signature, you don't owe the debt. This concludes the information about the five steps to discharge any debt at any time, whether it's on your credit report or not.
