I'm not even exaggerating when I say that this may be the most important video to watch when it comes to improving abala this is by far the most neglected yet the most important topic you can learn to become a better player I've never seen a video or a guide discussing this and explaining how to do it properly so I decided to take the opportunity and be the first one to cover this topic and give you straightforward practical advice that works to make sure you succeed and start ranking up as soon as possible eliminate the mistakes you didn't know about and have a better understanding of advanced concepts such as the one we're covering today if that's something you're interested in go ahead like And subscribe right now because you will get real results in game and I get the YouTube success that I want which is a mutual win-win for both of us here and if you want to learn how I went from being hot stock plat to getting 2200 in a matter of one season check the first link in the description to see if we can work together and help you get the same results in a faster period and with much less effort as well okay now that being said let's go number one what's spacing and why is it important I made a poll the other day and asked about what guide should I make the majority of you chose spacing so here we are I want to start off by explaining why this is so important to learn if you manage to improve your spacing every other aspect of your gameplay improves alongside with it you will have a better reaction your punishes will significantly improve you will be able to approach and bait your opponent easily without getting hit and it will become very very difficult to attack you you I'm pretty sure there are more benefits that I didn't mention here but these are the most important ones that came at the top of my head you know so now that you know how important this is and the big effect that it has over your gameplay let me give you a clear no BS explanation on how it works spacing is simply the skill of positioning yourself outside of your opponent threat zone without going too far you want to create a very specific distance between you and him at all times when you create this distance properly everything else unlocks and becomes very clear to see generally speaking there are three distances you can create short medium and long if the distance is too short you will be able to attack your opponent but you're also at a risk because he can attack you as well if the distance is too long you will be safe but you won't be able to attack at all considering how far you are The Sweet Spot is when you are in the Middle where you're not too far but also not too close to get hit in this position you get three major benefits the first one is that you will be able to react to your opponent's attempt at attacking you and easily Dodge it or Escape it the second benefit is that when you escape your opponent you will be in that perfect position to punish them and the third benefit is having an easier time approaching and attacking because here all you need to do is the right approaching methods and you will have better baits and higher accuracy as well when attacking you see in bralla there are two boxes you have to take if you want to uh win more matches which is hitting your opponent and not getting hit if you do your spacing well you take both boxes off with ease which is huge number two how to space out now that you understand what spacing is and why is it important let's Del a little bit deeper on how to actually do it properly you start off by trying your best to create the distance I was talking about earlier where you're not too far but also not too close to get hit this may be a little bit different for each weapon but we will cover that in the next section okay so this is the point where most players tend to struggle and it's here where I struggled for a long time as well so after you create the distance now what what do you do in here this is a problem that took me so much [ __ ] time to solve and I'll tell you exactly what to do but before I do that you got to understand that spacing is not the end goal okay spacing is a tool that you use to reach your end goal which is finishing off your opponent and attacking them to be able to win the match spacing is kind of like the first step of a process that you need to go through to be able to achieve that result and there are multiple steps afterwards that you need to follow to make sure that everything work together in your favor so here is exactly what you do when you create the distance first thing first is to make sure that you move around and never stand in one place this is a big mistake I made and I see a lot of players make as well which is when they create the distance they end up doing this [ __ ] right here where like they don't move around you know they stand still and they don't move at all thinking they're safe enough just by creating the distance but you got to understand that all your opponent need to do here is the slightest approach and you are at risk of getting hit once again so make sure you jump around use the platforms move back and forth to prevent that from happening and always remember that you don't want to go too far away either okay second be always ready to either attack your opponent or to dodge them like I said earlier one of the benefits of creating this distance is having easier time reacting to things happening however for this benefit to take place you have to be aware and ready to punish to attack and to dodge as well okay be very ready look for opportunities to attack and always ask yourself can I attack can I punish but you also want to see if your opponent is approaching to attack you or is he just trying to bait you and then you want to react accordingly if he's trying to attack prepare yourself to dodge and see if you can punish or not if it's a bait then you don't need to do much other than not panicking this is a very crucial point and one of the most important ones okay your main focus should not be the spacing like I said the main focus is what you do after you space out you should keep spacing in the back of your head and the main focus is to either Dodge or attack okay I unfortunately cannot tell you much more about this other than be ready and prepare yourself to do things right but this is the Difference Maker between profiting from your spacing or just wasting time with it you know without really getting much results so make sure you're always ready to do something and remember to keep spacing in the back of your head and not the main focus third try approaching and baiting your opponent sometimes you can bait your opponent into thinking that he can attack when in reality he cannot which is by entering that threat zone that you're trying to avoid here and then you get yourself out super super fast I won't be talking much about this because I made an entire video covering this topic alone but I'll try to explain it really quick basically there are certain movement options that allow you to get close to your opponent and then back off immediately this will cause them to think that they can attack you and if they try to do anything at all they will end up missing considering how fast this is or maybe if you're trying to be the first one attacking make sure you use your movements first and then you attack second I discuss all of this with way way more details in that video so go ahead and watch it after finishing this one fourth position yourself in the right places a lot of the time you don't need to engage with fighting your opponent instead just position yourself in a place that will increase the chance of hitting him and increase the probability of winning the match a good decision is not always linked with attacking a good decision can be a dash or maybe like a small drift in the air you know there are other examples examples along the way but generally speaking a good decision can be just based off where you position yourself you know your movements it's not always linked to attacking so with that in mind you want to make sure to not end up at the edge of the map for example when you do your spacing correctly because that's a disadvantaged position right and so when you find yourself in such position just remember to move and put yourself in a better one in this video right here I go over all the different advantages and the disadvantages that you can be in so just remember whenever you are in one of the situations I mentioned there do what's called repositioning and put yourself in a better one number three how to improve your spacing today so far we discussed how to space the distance you need to create and what to do once you created and I believe you should start working on those things right now okay this section is more about honing this skill and taking it to the next level and I have some really solid advice here for you that will help you out tremendously okay the first one is to use what's called your peripheral vision more and focus on your target properly rather than looking at it let me show you an example of what I mean here if I ask you to look at this fan you will be able to see it but you won't know what to look at exactly and what to focus on so you will miss on a significant amount of details and information that you could have gotten if you were to focus a little bit better now if I ask you to look at one of the Turning blades you will be able to see it with way more details now without taking your eyes off the blade you're looking at I want you to look at the other blades at the same time as well you will be able to see them with way more details without even taking your eyes off the original Target what was previously just a blur has now became a clear image this is called using your peripheral vision where you manage to see everything instead of just the central point we can try something else try looking at the central point of the fan but at the same time use your peripheral vision to see the Turning blades as well you will be able to see way more details that weren't visible before here's another example focus at the cross in the middle now use your peripheral vision to look at the circles around it you will be able to see a green circle spinning around however if you pause the video you'll notice that there is not there's not a green circle whatsoever it's just an extra information that you got by focusing a little bit better so what does this look like for H it's the exact same thing you want to keep a very very close attention at your enemy and never take your eyes off of him but at the same time use what you've just learned to be able to see exactly where you positions and if you can attack or not this is going to be one of the most helpful things if you utilize it properly especially in two video okay if you do this properly in twos you will literally become a [ __ ] God and you'll be able to see the entire stage at once this is how you get like a good level of game sense you know it's by utilizing your peripheral vision however this requires a huge level of focus okay you really need to be focused as [ __ ] hell for this to work so one tip I'll give you here is to bring back your focus every time you lose it just remind yourself you know when you play focus focus and you should be fine if you want to practice this even more I will leave a link in the description to download this video it's just a gift completely for free to help you out when you first try this out for the first time you'll be able to look at the green circle for around like 20 maybe 30 seconds or so you know and then you will lose your focus or it will become like very difficult to track you know what I mean using your peripheral vision but the more you watch the video and the more you practice this the easier it becomes the second tip I have for you here to improve your spacing is by watching Pro players honestly This is How I Learned most of the things I teach in my videos to be honest it's by watching Pro players and trying to understand what they're doing right and why they're winning or why they're losing a game and the more I did this I started to notice patterns across all players and spacing is one of them actually Pro players seem to create a specific distance and that's for a reason you know these players don't do things randomly they usually calculate everything they do and so if you see them doing something right why not just do it yourself as well because that's literally a free way to rank up so watch more of these players and more importantly watch them with the intention of learning and trying to understand what type of distance they're creating the third tip to improve your spacing is by understanding the hit boxes of each weapon and their threat coverage okay each weapon cover different areas around the player and you need to differentiate between them and then use different movement options accordingly to help you achieve your objectives with your spacing in the description there will be a link to a document and inside of that there is an image of every single weapon coverage and in this video once again so this video is very linked to um the approaching video that I made they're very linked to each other because like I said spacing the first step and then the second step is like approaching and attacking right so in that video I talk about in details the different movement option you should be using so make sure you check it out if you want to delve a little bit deeper in this topic because if you watch that video you will know where to position yourself and if you should jump or not if you can be close or not if you should play play more grounded or maybe you should play more aerial you know so make sure you check it out the fourth tip which is the most obvious one and the ugliest as well is to practice and fail right I'm telling you this right now most likely you won't be able to implement everything you're learning here from this first uh from the first try or like the first day you know and that's completely normal because you're not supposed to succeed on the first attempt that's not how it works you try you fail you try again you fail you try again you fail you try again you fail you try again you fail again and then you try one more time and then you succeed a little bit just a little right after that you keep on trying and with enough time you'll be able to do it properly without any issues at all and it will become even a muscle memory like you you won't even need to think about it it will just happen naturally you know that's the more realistic approach to learning something new for the first time so just understand that as long as you don't quit you'll be able to perfect this aspect of the game which is in my opinion the most important aspect to learn if your goal is improved moving or ranking up number four different methods of spacing so far we discussed the basics and the fundamentals of spacing we explained what is it how to do it properly and how to improve it generally speaking that's all you need to know if you want to get started with this but I decided to make this bonus section to discuss the more advanced side of spacing and teach you things that you maybe didn't know about beforehand basically there are different ways to go about doing your spacing and sometimes these methods can be too small to see it's the Difference Maker between the decent players and the really really good ones okay number one microspacing this is probably what separates diamonds from Vol Holland it's the ability to space out very carefully to the point where the attack is literally one pixel away from hitting you and it's here where the opponent thinks that they can attack when in reality they are half a millimeter away from doing so this can be very difficult to implement I won't lie here it might be one of the hardest things to do in brahala it might be the hardest things in brahala you know you may be asking right now how but like how how do I practice this you know honestly I don't have a clear answer because I'm not really good at this myself either so um I believe like just like anything else honestly to get better at it is just by practicing and playing with the intention of making your opponent whff you know like you want to move in a way that will allow you to create this distance and you do that by practicing a lot and I think the second way to do so is to have a [ __ ] ton of [ __ ] hours you need at least 1.5k or like 2K hours to be able to implement this consistently right and I'm talking like in game hours not steam by the way in Steam it's going to be more like 3 or 4K you know so you need a huge level of experience for this this this is not easy to pull off at all you don't need to think much about this for now honestly this is just for the players who already play the game a lot and they want to take it to the next level you know so those are the guys they can start thinking about implementing this into their game game play and like I'm one of them as well like I'm starting to add this into my gam play very slowly you know number two applying pressure sometimes you can create the distance and act as if you're going to enter your opponent's threat zone but then you don't which is by hovering around and pretend as if you're going to push forward this is how you apply a lot of pressure on your opponent without really doing much it's just by imagining that there's like a bubble around your opponent and you want to move around the bubble Without Really entering you know and it's here where they will panic and either Dodge attack or jump you know and then you want to react accordingly number three drifting this is one of the smallest things to see and I believe it's what separates good players from the average ones right usually average players such as gold and plats never use this to its full potential okay drifting is basically when you hold a direction key in the air and then you end up moving towards that direction if you press down you will Fast fall if you press right you will move slightly to the right side same thing for the left side you can also fast fall to the right or fast fall to the left you know if you mix between them one after another in a match you will confuse your opponent so much they will never be able to catch your Landings okay you also want to use drifting upon uh Missing an attack you know and so you can either drift to the right side or drift to the left this is also one of the best way to go about doing your microspacing which is by drifting out for example you know because like I said the difference is way too small to see and so your opponent will think that they can attack you and in reality they cannot and so you just punish that number four off stage spacing in the off stage the previous point is the most important one here which is by drifting properly and knowing when to go forward and when to go backwards to be able to escape your opponent's attacks but I have some more tips here for you okay one of them is to make sure you use your options slowly when you're recovering back to Stage do not Mash your options and do not p Panic okay also if you have enough options left to go back on stage make sure you use fast Falls to escape your opponent and also use jump away okay to create the distance we're talking about here off say is is just a Waiting Games to be honest and you want to play it slow you know to be able to recover back safely or [ __ ] your opponent if you're lucky enough number five spacing with attacks on some weapons such as Cannon or gauntlets for example you can use your aerial attacks to move your character and this is very very useful to save yourself in uh certain situations such as not having enough jumps to land safely for example you know so you can use the attack to get yourself out so yeah that was it for this video if you want me to personally analyze your gaml and tell you exactly what to do to be able to improve and to be able to rank up as soon as possible uh check the first link in the description like I said I helped so many guys and it's just to see if we can work together or not all right so yeah like the video make sure to like this took so much [ __ ] time to do and um yeah bye-bye
