in the quran and that chapter called surat al-kafirun the chapter of the disbelievers some of the some of the scholars also mentioned that this chapter is one-fourth of the quran as surat as the chapter of sincerity that insha allah we will come later on and read about it as prophet muhammad peace be upon him said that this is one third of the quran the scholars also mentioned that this chapter surat al-qaeda the chapter of the disbelievers is one-fourth of the quran because this also talks about the tawheed of allah almighty the oneness of allah almighty and we should only and only worship allah almighty so this is about the surah and this also and this chapter is also a mekki chapter which means it was revealed before the migration of prophet muhammad peace be upon him to medina so allah almighty started by saying bismillah in the name of allah the most gracious the most merciful and then allah almighty started by saying say o disbelievers so allah telling to muhammad peace be upon him o muhammad say to the disbelievers o disbelievers like talk to them now what is the incident or what was the event that this surah this chapter was revealed down let me give you a small brief about it so you will understand and link and connect of the next upcoming ayat the verses to this incident the kuffar the disbelievers of quraish in mecca and other tribes those who didn't believe in allah almighty or didn't believe in prophet muhammad peace be upon him they are saying that why this man means muhammad peace be upon him why this man is calling upon one god calling to allah almighty calling people to worship allah almighty and people actually following him they are leaving our idols they didn't say idols but they say they are living our gods which is idols so they are living our leaving our gods and going and joining one god joining his message the message of tawheed the message of one god allah almighty so they are going there and they are keeping increasing so it was prophet muhammad at the beginning and then it was prophet muhammad and his companion and then it become and then it become so 1 2 3 and now it's becoming more and more so it becomes hundred two hundred three hundred so the disbelievers of quraysh and disbelievers of makkah they didn't like that so they said okay you know what we will go and negotiate with him so before they went and negotiate with him they said you know what we will give you the power we will give you to be the ruler we will give you all the wealth we will give you whatever you want and just don't claim that you are profit and don't do anything that what you are doing so he said in a very famous hadith it says in a very famous incident that if you put sun in my right hand and if you put moon in my left hand in order to leave that what i'm doing i will not leave i will not stop which means that what i'm doing is the right way what i'm doing it's a commandment from allah almighty and i don't care about all the wealth and the position that you are giving me even if you give me sun in my one hand and the moon on my second hand i will not care and i will continue so this was before then they came with the new technique after seeing all these people what they are doing so they went to prophet muhammad peace be upon him and they have a big leaders of the tribe and they have all these people so they went to him and they offered him something unique you know what they offered them or what they offered him you will know after the short break stay with us and we will continue [Music] dear viewers welcome back so all these big leaders of the quraish and other tribes they are coming all together and picking the best people who can speak and who can negotiate and they went to prophet muhammad peace be upon him and they went and they offered him something unique they said listen o muhammad peace be upon him they said listen you are claiming that there is one god and we should worship him and and whatever you are doing okay fine do whatever you want to do but still we have our own idols we have to worship them and these different idols do different things and and everyone is specialized in his field of course this is all false but this is what they used to believe so they said you know what let's worship let you and your people let them worship our idols for one year and the next year we all the people we will worship your one god so one year you will worship our god and one year we all worship your god so it's like a win-win situation one year all people worshipping these idols and the next year all these people worshipping allah almighty so this is the reason that after offering this offer to prophet muhammad peace be upon him allah almighty sent from the seventh heaven the verses from quran that till today we are reciting them and this is the guidelines for all of us as muslims now listen what allah almighty said number one allah almighty says say o muhammad to these disbelievers all disbelievers oh listen all this believer listen to me this is what it means and then allah almighty said in the second verse i will not worship or i do not worship what you are worshiping means i am worshiping allah i will never ever worship what you are worshiping idols and the stones and then allah almighty said that nor you are worshiping what i am worshiping so you will not worship what i am worshiping means that even if you claim you will not do it so neither me worshiping your god neither you worship my god this is the next verse nor will i be worshipper of what you worship again confirming that and then allah almighty confirmed that again nor will you be worshipers of what i worship so in other meaning that you will never ever worship what i'm worshiping then allah almighty said something clear-cut for all the muslims around the world till today to you is your religion to my is my religion i don't care about what you worship i don't care about what you believe i don't care about if you worship allah or if you worship idols and if you worship stone or if you worship fire or if you worship any other thing i don't care le kum di nukum waliyadin you have your religion stay away from me i have my religion i'm away from you and this is very important for today nowadays try people are trying to malign or trying to misunderstand other people to understand islam so they are giving them wrong information by no no islam is not like that you can do this and you can do that for example some people say hijab covering your hair and covering your body is not necessary in islam you do whatever you want to do no this is not right you are trying to please other people because of you know to displease allah almighty you cannot do that you cannot say that okay no it's a freedom of choice we don't have freedom of choice we only follow what allah almighty tell us some other people will say well it's okay if you can't drink wine and you drink alcohol and you do this and you do that no problem no no no no who told you who told you allah said it is haram you cannot drink it and it's forbidden for us then you don't try to play with islam in order to please other people you don't do that we don't do that as muslims kill your cut last verse that allah almighty says just have your own religion i have my own religion so let's not play with our islam let's not play with the deen let's not play with the religion of allah almighty let's not play with the sunnah with the guidance of prophet muhammad peace be upon him in order to please the disbelievers we don't do that we have we have our own dignity and islam and the book and we are proud of that so we follow our book and we follow our the the guidance of prophet muhammad peace be upon him until we die and we meet allah almighty on that and we have full confidence that because of that allah almighty will take us to the paradise so by that alhamdulillah we are done with this
