Excel Structure Overview
Workbook & Title Bar
- Default workbook title: Book1 (changes upon saving)
- Right options:
- Close (X)
- Restore Down/Maximize
- Minimize
- Tab/Ribbon Display Options
- Help (F1)
- Quick Access Toolbar (Left): Save, Undo, Redo
Tabs & Ribbons
- Tabs Examples: File, Home, Insert, etc.
- File Tab: Backstage View โ Info, New, Open, Save, Print
- Groups in Home Tab: Clipboard, Font, Alignment, etc.
- Insert Tab Examples: Tables, Illustrations
- Name Box: Displays address of selected cell
- Formula Bar: Enter/edit data/formulas directly
- Work Area: Contains rows (up to 1 million+) and columns (up to XFD)
- Cell addresses (e.g., B7, F9)
Sheets & Navigation
- Bottom strip: Displays worksheets (Sheet1, Sheet2, etc.)
