the company that made Angry Birds they somehow logged the uh eay of your phone which is the hardware identifier of your phone and they said yeah we do that to prevent cheating it's a bit weird that they did that but they did that for many years I checked it this morning in 2011 they were doing this and then later it was found that they were transmitting that emay data together with a bunch of other data over an unencrypted connection later it turned out that that enabled a government to build a datab base of where everyone was in the world because half a billion people had installed Angry Birds and they were all logging their details to This Server The Angry Bird people did not know they were at the core of a worldwide surveillance program and this was big and that was all because they said yeah we're going to log the emay inl text and someone is going to Snoop that it is the combination of all these different things the way people walk the screen resolution the air pressure where they are how fast their car drives that has now generated a complete view of everyone and that view is generated by individual people logging the emay so that we can prevent cheating
