Arc Raiders Game Overview and Insights

All right, listen up. You have to know about this game. I feel an urge to share this with you because I believe that this game has an extreme potential to be the next big thing. The game is called Arc Raiders, and it recently had its second play test. This is what the game is about in a Millennial Brain Rod explanation. It's an extraction-based thirdp person shooter. You're probably very familiar with it. There are some pretty big titles in this genre. Escape from Tarov, Dark and Darker, that other Bohemian Interactive game that only has like three active players. Vigor, if you still don't know what I'm talking about, basically you join a match, which is what they call a raid. And in this raid, there is you, AI, and maybe a few other players. You're basically doing a loot run. Your goal is to scavenge the area, loot supplies, find valuable stuff, shoot and kill everything that looks dangerous, and try to escape safely by finding an extract point. But you got to keep in mind that all these other players are trying to do the same thing. So, when you encounter another player, they may or may not be friendly, you know, kind of like Day Z. And if you successfully extract all these items that you found in the raid, you can safely put them away in your stash, your vaults, your bank, whatever you want to call it. And then you just gear up for your next adventure. Of course, if you die in a raid, all the items that you brought with you will be lost, and there's usually a currency, traders, and some kind of crafting involved with your base. I don't know about you guys, but I played a [ __ ] ton of Destiny, and this game reminds me a lot of the Destiny aesthetic. You know, that post-apocalyptic rugged kind of futuristic theme that Destiny has. That's what this game's environment reminds me of. Even the AI in this game looks and feels super familiar. It's almost suspicious, like in a good way. You know, like taking inspiration from things you love. This game's graphics are easily a 10 out of 10. I've never actually played a game where I didn't have to immediately go into the settings and tweak some stuff to make it look and or perform better. It was just instant bliss. The visuals are absolutely stunning and it runs super smooth. These are the little things that you would expect from a modern game. I'm going to talk about the audio design in this game cuz I don't know if most people truly understand the impact that audio has on gaming. I'm an audio guy. You know, I make music, I record it, I mix it, I master it. I went to school for sound engineering even though I dropped out because I I quit everything. I'm a quitter. Mama definitely raised a quitter. This game has by far some of the best audio design I've ever seen. Listen, I could spend hours talking to you in depth about what that actually means, but I'm not going to bore you with all that. They didn't just master the art of spatial audio, you know, to let you know whether someone's walking right next to you or shooting 300 m southwest of you. They created a soundsscape that is meant for gods. We humans, we're we don't deserve this. Just listen to some of these sounds. throw knife to the fire. You got any last words, my friend? Actually, can you hear me? Can you hear me at all? I can hear you. I can hear you. I can hear you. Oh, that's nice that um I have a really good gun. Enjoy it, man. Oh, I appreciate, bro. Thank Thanks for being chill, man. I don't get to kill many players, so I kind of, you know. Yeah. Don't worry, man. Don't worry. I killed myself with a [ __ ] grenade like an idiot. But you deserve Were you the one who shot me outside? I shot you outside. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. With the sniper. Yeah, that was a good shot. I was not expecting that. All right, man. Enjoy. Have a good good run. I mean, come on. You can't listen to that and tell me you weren't fully immersed for at least a few seconds. Even just navigating the UI feels satisfying. Oh my. Five. Someone's coming. Oh, he wasn't lying. And that is a really good gun. Holy [ __ ] And since you asked, sure, let's talk about the gameplay. If you play games like Day Z and Escape from Tarov, then you're very familiar with the meaning of the word jank. In my first 12 hours of gameplay, I noticed that in this game, it is virtually non-existent. Moving around, doing parkour, shooting, everything feels like butter down to the minor details like interacting with buttons. And listen, I know that everything I said is completely subjective, but the main reason why I think this game might be a hit is because in this genre, there are only a handful of games that are actually successful if you're measuring by popularity, active player count, you know, generated revenue, and they are super niche games like Tarov. And I know I keep mentioning this game, but it's because it is probably the biggest game in the genre. And I think a lot of people, myself included, are kind of put off by how extreme and hardcore Tarov actually is. This is not a very beginner friendly game. They kind of just throw you in a map. You don't know where you are. You don't know where you're going. You don't know what your extractions are. You don't know what you're supposed to be looking for, what is considered valuable. There are thousands of items in the game, a cajillion different ammo types for each weapon. And this is obviously super overwhelming for casual players or for people that are trying to enjoy an immersive extraction shooter without all of these complexities. This is where Art Creator comes in. I think this game can fill a massive gap of gamer needs by simply giving you the best visuals, incredible sound design, and combining aspects from other games that you love while still catering to those gamers that are not necessarily looking for the most realistic milim game ever made. What are your thoughts about this game? Have you seen any gameplay of it? Did you get to try it out in the play test? Let me know in the comments. And uh here, let's do this. You drop a like for me and I will shut up and let you watch what was probably my craziest match in the entire play test. And just to give you some context, this was my first session ever and I'm just 2 hours in. Okay, I still don't know where I'm supposed to go, where I'm supposed to do. Hopefully, this will give you a better idea of what you can expect. Okay, I'll see you later. Bye. Feel like this is more of a sniping map difficulty. What's with the difficulty? I'm guessing it has to do with like the amount of arc. That is a pretty good loadout. All right, it's like a short range only loadout. I might be [ __ ] if I start getting sniped. All right, let's do it. I wonder how many players can actually join a map. In one match, I fought like four. Four or five. Press M to bring up the map. All right, let's go. Residential. Residential. Residential. It's all the way out here, huh? Or it could be here. Pattern house. All right, we're going to pattern house. Let's go, baby. Can't wait to get off these clothes, bro. Look like a noob. So, what's three? Like, why can't they you bind something to three? One is primary, two is secondary, and then four is the millie. This weapon reload is kind of cool. Don't understand what the free look button is. There's usually alt, but all Oh. Where'd you go, dog? Oh, no. Listen, bro. Maybe we can talk this out, right? Like, maybe we can talk this out. Sorry, brother. Bro, I'm so sorry, brother. No need for this, bro. I need I need stuff, man. I'm brand new. I got to do this. I got to get shotgun. I got to get shotgun. You have Yeah, this I actually got really lucky with this one, man. I found it like some random ass spot. It's It's purple. Oh, dang. Yeah, shotgun's pretty OP, man. All right, man. Take it easy, bro. GG's. All right. Yeah. GG's. Oh, dang, bro. He has the shotgun, bro. He has a whole another shotgun, bro. Oh, you can't put that on your safe pocket thing. How about some shotgun ammo? I feel like shotgun ammo is pretty expensive. Or is that stupid? Oh. Oh, there's teams. Oh [ __ ] Oh, that's fat. No grenades. No grenades. One of them. There's more than one though. Yo, once you're down, bro, like what happens? Like, do you just do you do you ever get back up? It just kind of puts me in like a time like a countdown and then I'll get kicked out. Yeah, I was just trying to help the guy who was like spelling. Can you can you res like a random Can you res me or Let me see. Wait, I think there's another player, dude. Pretty sure there's another player. I want to try. No, I don't get a prompt for it. Yeah, that's Yeah, bro. I don't think there's a way. I think we have to team up before I go down. Okay. Well, take it easy, man. Good luck, homie. Bro, I'm destroying these noobs. Oh my god. Oh my god. I think that's our quest. Huh? Batteries. They're just dropping. Oh, [ __ ] What do I not need? I have two shields. I'm going to drop a shield. Pick up the batteries. I need to get out of here. But there's two bodies. Oh, [ __ ] Get [ __ ] destroyed. I'm too good at this [ __ ] Recharge on shield. Okay, let's drop to the ground. Wait, you can you can actually take the alloy. You can save it. Shotgun is kind of OP. Pick up the alloy. We got brand new shields. All right, we're chilling. Just going to slowly heal. Want to eat this [ __ ] expired pasta. Mhm. Bro, low key Fortnite players are going to excel at this game. Dude, I have a little bit of an aim, but like if console gets like aim assist, I don't know if that's going to work. I actually don't know if that's going to work with this game, dude. That was crazy, bro. There's so many. Watch, watch, watch. I'm going to get shot again. Watch. Wait, wait. Is there somebody trying to initiating open? Where are they? Where are they? I can't let them. Stand by. Elevator ready to go. I'm a little bit cracked at this game. I'm not going to lie. No shield recharge. Should I get out? I'm just trying so hard that like I should probably get out. I shouldn't be that greedy. I mean, I'm already full. Okay, dude. Holy [ __ ] How many kills did I get, bro? I didn't loot like two bodies. That was wild. Watch another video. or don't. Who [ __ ] cares?
