Understanding Lattice Multiplication Method

hello everybody today I'm going to do lattice multiplication so suppose you have a problem such as 25 * 13 you need to figure it out but you don't have a way so then you could use lattice so first you have to see how many digits are in 25 two so you have you have to have room on the top for two digits then you see how many digits are in the second number they're two so then you have to have room for two digits on the on the side and then you just do it on the this side and then you connect the box it comes out to be a rectangle and then since there are two numbers two digits here you have to have two columns and then since there are two digits on the second number you need to have two rows now we're almost set we need to put the number 25 up here and it has to match and then you have to put 13 right here it has to match this way now we're really almost done um forming the problem we need to split the boxes in two parts diagonally so you do that now we're done we can start solving so first you do 5 * 1 that's five so you put zero right here and five we do 5 * 3 that's 15 so 1 and then five then we do 2 * 1 that's 2 and then you do 3 * 2 that's 6 now we're done doing the multiplication part now we have to do addition so first we have to we have to add diagonally so first we add five five there's no other number here so we just do five next we come here there's 5 1 and 6 so first we do 5 + 1 that's 6 and 6 + 6 is 12 so you put the two here and then you um carry the one in this column so I put the one right there now I do 1 + two that's three and that's a zero so that's just three and now that's zero so you don't have to put anything there now this is our answer 325 there are no commas in this answer so this is the final answer thanks for watching bye
