    • Begin by removing two 10mm bolts for line access.
  • Wire and Bolt Removal:

Removing the Serpentine Belt

  • Use a 14mm socket to remove the belt.

AC Compressor Bolt Removal

  • Access from below the vehicle without jacking it up.
  • Locate and remove bolts with a ratchet.
  • Move to the top of the engine to extract the compressor.

Radiator Fan Removal

  • Disconnection Steps:
    • Remove wire harness and screws.
    • Disconnect the radiator hose if necessary (caution to avoid coolant spills).

Compressor Oil Adjustment

  • New compressor comes with 7 ounces oil; vehicle needs around 3.5 ounces.
  • Drain existing oil and refill with correct amount (3 ounces).

O-Ring Replacement

  • Replace two O-rings on lines to compressor.

Reinstalling Compressor

  • Reinstall compressor in reverse order.

Replacing Dryer Tube

Installing New Dryer Tube

  • Switch over the sensor and bracket from old to new dryer.

Accessing and Replacing Expansion Valve

  • Access:
    • Remove 10mm nut and vacuum line to access connectors.
    • Detach hoses for access.
  • Removal:
    • Remove 25mm Allen screws to extract valve.
    • Careful not to damage components in case of reinstallation need.

Refilling Refrigerant

  • Preparation:
    • Check system for leaks before refilling.
    • Use 18 ounces (just under two cans) of refrigerant.
  • Filling Process:
    • Add refrigerant while monitoring for leaks.
    • Start vehicle to complete filling process.

Conclusion

  • Testing:
