Preparing for Compressor Removal

Use a T20 to remove star screws and few snaps from the liner.
Removing the Serpentine Belt
Use a 14mm socket to remove the belt.
AC Compressor Bolt Removal
Access from below the vehicle without jacking it up.
Locate and remove bolts with a ratchet.
Move to the top of the engine to extract the compressor.
Radiator Fan Removal
Issue:
Tight space for compressor removal; removing radiator fan.
Disconnection Steps:
Remove wire harness and screws.
Disconnect the radiator hose if necessary (caution to avoid coolant spills).
Compressor Oil Adjustment
New compressor comes with 7 ounces oil; vehicle needs around 3.5 ounces.
Drain existing oil and refill with correct amount (3 ounces).
O-Ring Replacement
Replace two O-rings on lines to compressor.
Reinstalling Compressor
Reinstall compressor in reverse order.
Replacing Dryer Tube
Access:
Remove vehicle grill by loosening clips.
Access to dryer’s 10mm bolt through radiator mount manipulation.
Removal of Dryer:
Disconnect electrical connector and 10mm bolts.
Replace O-rings on lines.
Installing New Dryer Tube
Switch over the sensor and bracket from old to new dryer.
Accessing and Replacing Expansion Valve
Access:
Remove 10mm nut and vacuum line to access connectors.
Detach hoses for access.
Removal:
Remove 25mm Allen screws to extract valve.
Careful not to damage components in case of reinstallation need.
Refilling Refrigerant
Preparation:
Check system for leaks before refilling.
Use 18 ounces (just under two cans) of refrigerant.
Filling Process:
Add refrigerant while monitoring for leaks.
Start vehicle to complete filling process.
Conclusion

Check if AC is functioning properly (cold air inside vehicle).

Ensure AC lines are cold.
