In the process of becoming licensed in the state of Idaho, there's a couple things that I have to do first. One of those things is register for their prescription monitoring program. In most states, pharmacies have access to a database that shows certain medications that everybody fills. And regardless of which pharmacy you filled at, every other pharmacy can then see if it was filled. And this is how they can verify if it's time to refill medications that need special attention, like controlled medications that can be ab-informing.
As you can see, I logged in and typed in my... Email and password. It was a very simple process and the best part about this one is it was free so it didn't cost me anything I just gave a lot of my basic information there and it started the process One thing that's really annoying whenever we start applying to different states is that timing, the chronological order by which you do things, matters. And in this case, I had to register for something that I couldn't complete unless I had my license first.
That's a little bit of a conundrum, really. But at least their Board of Pharmacy clarifies I have to put pending for my license number. Lots of boards of pharmacy wouldn't even take the time to clarify that, really.
