Turning a Tent into a House in Bloxburg

Overview

  • Objective: Transform a tent into a functional house in Bloxburg.
  • Steps involved: Choosing a tent, setting up a landscape, and decorating the tent to be livable.

Step 1: Choosing a Tent

  • Available Tents: Simple Tent, Family Tent, Pop-up Canopy Tent, Event Tent
  • Decision: Chose the Family Tent due to its potential size & functionality.

Step 2: Setting up the Plot

  • Placed the tent in the center to allow room for landscaping.
  • Created mountains and greenery around the tent to enhance the camp aesthetic.
  • Used Mansard roofs to simulate mountains.
  • Added trees (trees in Bloxburg are expensive).
  • Created a waterfall using a pool for a scenic view.

Step 3: Decorating the Tent Exterior

  • Opted for a modern house look: Vertical planks for the front, bricks for the rest.
  • Added decorative elements like lanterns and fairy lights for a cozy atmosphere.
  • Front Porch: Included fairy lights, a hammock, luxury Beach Sun chairs, blankets, and pillows.
  • Outdoor Seating: Set up with a picnic blanket and chair.
  • Barbecue Area: Grill, towels, fire extinguisher, and utensils.

Interior Setup

General Interior Considerations

  • Had to creatively cover tent beds, as furniture cannot be placed directly on the tent.
  • Needed to add lighting due to the lack of windows.

Bathroom

  • Tight space, but functional with a Mighty Flush Toilet and a marble sink.
  • Used a toilet paper stand due to space constraints.
  • Included a Clothing Rack for changing clothes.
  • Lanterns for lighting.
  • Divided using semi-transparent vertical cylinders to simulate a curtain.
  • Added a room divider for privacy.

Bedroom

  • Positioned in a corner with a sleeping bag for space efficiency.
  • Made the bed area cozy with multiple layers of blankets and pillows.

Living Area

  • Combined with bedroom space: TV on simple dust organizers.
  • Salt lamp and flowers for comfort and smell.
  • Bedside table with a lava lamp.

Kitchen

  • Created a small yet functional kitchen area.
  • Island bench with marble design.
  • Mini fridge used as a counter space.
  • Peanut butter and jelly setup and lemon bowl for decor.
  • Essential utensils and a spice rack.
  • Small cutting board included.
  • Flooring added in both bathroom and bedroom areas to keep feet warm.

Final Touches

  • Added more fairy lights and photos for ambiance.
  • Adjusted the position of items based on functionality and appearance.
