Overview
This lecture explains in detail the types of pronouns, their usage, cases (Subjective, Objective, Possessive), and common mistakes.
Definition and Examples of Pronouns
- A pronoun is a word that takes the place of a noun.
- Pronouns are used instead of repeating the noun repeatedly.
- Examples: Sonu = He/She, Diploma = It, Children = They.

- Possessive pronouns replace nouns: Mine, Yours, Hers.

Correct Use of Cases
- Subjective case comes before the verb, objective case comes after the verb.
- Objective case comes after prepositions (to, between, on).
- Example: Let me do the work. (Let I... is incorrect)
Comparison of Cases
- Compare subject with subject, object with object only.
- Example: She is taller than I (correct), She is taller than me (incorrect)
