New Modes

  • Normal Mode

Progression and Rewards

  • Beat up the void to get points.

Spawner Towers

  • There are now 5 spawner towers:
    • Barracks
    • Armored Factory
    • The Zed

Solo Play Strategy

  • Map chosen: Highrise (longest map with many curves).
    • Sky Island: Rejected for being too small and short; spawners easily destroyed by boss.
  • Starting with the Operator to manage early game disposalists.
    • Utilize bottom path for Humvees.
  • Early game goal: Save up for an M Wrap to deal AOE damage.
    • Berics not effective early on.

Mid-game Strategy

  • Wave 10:
    • Using M Wrap to manage AOE damage.
    • M Wrap has reduced DPS but still effective.
  • Focus on upgrading farms and acquiring M Wraps.
    • Aim for three M Wraps before diversifying.

Introduction of Zed Towers

  • Deploy Zed towers without upgrading initially; get all six down.
  • Early Zed stats: 500 health, 30 DPS for 3000 cost.
  • Delay upgrading to maximize early game value.

Dealing with Increased Difficulty

  • Address disposalists and hordes by balancing Zed and Abam deployments.
  • Montage of dealing with hordes and minor breaks during gameplay.

Boss Fights

  • Wave 25: Approaching boss with nearly maxed-out Zed.
    • Focus strategy on containing plague guardians and doctors.
    • Level 5 Zed deployment crucial (350 DPS to 2500 DPS).
  • Strategy for revived plague doctor and avoiding damage.
    • Use of commander airstrikes for specters.

Advanced Waves

  • Progression of waves focusing on maintaining upgraded defenses (Zeds, M Wraps, etc.).
